Local PDs are state institutions, where as the Sheriff's Departments were created under the Constitution. If I remember correctly, that's why sheriffs are allowed to chase/detain outside of their jurisdiction so long as the crime was committed within it

Oh no, Wish, I am good today. Got plenty of walking and weight lifting today. The moving we were helping with was a lot of stuff. Glad it's done for now. In the next few weeks the kid's rooms will be painted. Can't wait to start painting and see how the rooms turn out.

i don't like the taste of alcohol. it tastes like how i think the cleaning alcohol would taste like lol

The only alcoholic beverages I can stand have other tastes that cover up the alcohol. I just can't stand the strong stuff. Light fruity drinks for me! ... and even then I'm an alcohol light weight. xD

We will keep the kids out of the room, there is a large window in each room, we'll open it and vent the smell, plus run fans.

We may be federal, but we definitely have a lot of regulation we have to follow because of it. It's rather obnoxious really. I feel it actually gets in the way of justice being served sometimes. Though, I have become really jaded because of this job.

The whole "justice system" gets in the way >> here in Illinois you'll be charged with manslaughter of you kill someone who shoots you. Not at you, not tries to shoot you, you can take two bullets to the chest before you shoot him and it's still illegal. On top of that, they tiptoed around the second ammendment by allowing us to own/carry firearms, but it's illegal to load them.

Just a bunch of bull**** if you ask me.
