how far are you and the dorm?

By train and then bus, takes about 1 - 2 hours. Not too far, but still...tiring if I have a lot of luggage to haul around.

that is tedious.
But not as tiring as stuck in the jam for an hour when the actual distance is only 15 minutes. x.x

@Xuv: That's like me waiting for a bus to come along. I could be standing there holding like 10kg worth of luggage for maybe half an hour before a bus comes along. Then spend less than ten minutes on it before I arrive at my school.

Antata, sounds like the bus is not punctual?

I don't know if it's a punctual problem or if they actually do take that long in between each bus...but I nearly always have to wait at least ten minutes before one would arrive, and most arrive after twenty minutes of waiting.

i used to take 2 hour commutes to college, when it was really just a 30-minute drive when traffic is light. every. single. day. for. five. years.

Holy shit you have a lot of patience Yan. That would drive me crazy if I had to do that every single day!

Next year I'm going to have ti drive half an hour to university and half an hour back. I feel okay. My mum's freaking out for some reason >_>

Half an hour seems okay. I used to drive around twenty - thirty minutes to get to work every day too.
