Capri swallowed as she looked at the building in front of her and her friend. Stark Tower, or Avengers Tower, depending on who you asked. Where they'd currently be living and completing their indentures for the next year and a half. She'd never thought that A) they'd both get indentures at the same place, B) she'd ever meet the Avengers, and C) that her indenture would be working with the Avengers on a pretty much daily basis.

"I am so not prepared for this," she muttered.

"There is nothing in the world that can prepare us for this," Felicity replied just as quietly. She held the envelope with her contract in it in one hand. "Should we just get this over with and go in?"

"Yeah might as well. Best to get it started." Capri took a deep breath and headed inside, glancing around briefly. She was so not prepared for this, but she was just going to pretend she was for a while.

Felicity followed, looking around cautiously. She had no idea what their reception would be like, so she didn't want any surprises.

They got in the elevator and went straight up to the general living floor of the Avengers. Tony was there to greet them again, grinning.

"You did make it, I was starting to wonder, I mean, I know my sheer awesome has startled people before but really, I don't actually bite."

Capri snorted a little at him, because she was actually starting to get used to Tony Stark, since they'd met twice before this. At least she knew what she was getting into.

Felicity, however, had only met him once, and was still a little shell shocked from everything. She tried not to gawk too hard at the sheer opulence of the Avengers living floors.

"Okay, so, main floor with the main living room, kitchen, all that fun stuff. Everyone gets their own suite, I guess you could say, with a smaller kitchen, living room, all the essentials. You two are sharing a suite two floors down, just above you are Rogers and Barnes, Clint and Natasha are above this floor, Brucie and I practically live in the labs, Thor has his own room somewhere." Tony shrugged. "You'll figure it out as you go along, and you can always as Jarvis. J, say hi."

"Good afternoon," Jarvis greeted politely.

Capri squeaked at that, because okay she was not expecting that.

Felicity jumped.

"That's incredible," she breathed. She'd heard rumors about the mythical AI, but she never thought she'd get to experience it.

Tony beamed because people should always admire his tech.

"Yes, so, rooms. Go investigate, get settled in. Everyone knows you're here so we'll make introductions later."

"Just like that?" Felicity asked warily. Somehow, it seemed like there should be a little more of an introduction than that, but she couldn't think of what else there would be. It still felt oddly informal.

"Yeah, just like that, really, dinner's at seven." Tony shrugged. "We're not big on formal most of the time, you get used to it."

Felicity just looked at Capri, eyes a bit wide. This was so much more than she'd bargained for when she agreed to the contract.

Capri shook her head. "This is so..." She trailed off and shrugged. "Let's go settle in?"

Felicity nodded tentatively and started to look around a bit. Time to possibly claim a room for herself.

Capri also started to look around their floor, since they had plenty of room in the suite. There were two bedrooms, so she picked one and put her stuff down, along with a smaller kitchen, two bathrooms, and a living room with a couch, two comfy chairs, and a flatscreen TV.

She was really starting to like this place, apart from the fact that everything was expensive and she was worried about breaking stuff.

"What did we just sign up for?" Felicity asked as she put her things down. "What are they going to expect us to do in return for living in a place like this?"

"Well, according to my contract, helping to make them comfortable." Capri shrugged. "Whatever that means. I dunno, maybe we can cook for them?"

"I have no idea," Felicity said. "I mean, hell, my contract says I have to model for art, so there's that."

"Well there you go, we'll find out which one is the artist," Capri said. "My contract is actually pretty vague, I think Stark did that intentionally." Not that she was going to complain, vague was good.

Felicity just nodded a bit, still a little uncertain.

"Well," she said after a moment, "should we go out and take a look around the rest of the place?"

"Do you want to?" Capri asked. "Because I kind of want to make some tea first and give myself a half hour or so to settle, and then go exploring. Don't want to overload too badly today."

"If I do that, I'll never be able to convince myself to come back out," Felicity said, shaking her head a bit. "I'll talk myself into trying to hide in here forever."

"Then I'll go with you anyway." Capri grinned a bit. "Not gonna leave you to flounder here on your own."

"Thanks," Felicity said. Steeling herself, she opened the door and headed out towards the main living area. Time to poke around some.

Capri went with her, starting to look around. Everything looked the same as in their suite, with lots of expensive stuff, a huge TV, a fully stocked bar. Everything the team needed.

Which meant she still had no idea where she was supposed to fit in.
