"It's better that way. Steve and Thor eat enough for about six people each, Bucky eats for four, Clint tries his best to eat as much as Bucky." Bruce shrugged a bit. "Tony, Natasha and I are the only ones who eat normal amounts."

"I suppose it's a good thing Mr. Stark is obscenely rich," Felicity replied. "I mean, with a grocery bill like that..."

Bruce smiled a bit. "Indeed," he agreed mildly. "Go on and get your food, before everyone else descends."

Felicity nodded and went to grab a plate. She didn't need to be told a third time.

Capri followed Felicity, getting food and settling at the table. Almost as soon as they were done, the game ended, and people got up and moved into the kitchen, still sassing each other and grumbling.

Felicity froze momentarily when everyone tromped into the kitchen. She hadn't been expecting them all to come in so soon.

"You had to have been practicing while nobody was looking, man," Clint was saying to Thor. "That's the only way you could have won that one."

"I have played a few times with my ladies Jane and Darcy," Thor admitted. "But they are not such fierce competition as you, my friend."

Tony looked over at the girls and positively beamed. "Oh you did make it up."

"Psh, Darcy plays for keeps, come on now," Clint said, smirking.

"Yeah, we did," Felicity said cautiously. "We were supposed to, right?"

"She does not try to sabotage me as you do," Thor said with a grin. "Even if she does threaten to hit me with her portable lightning device."

"Yes, yes, of course," Tony said with a wave of his hand. "So you can meet the team, and all that."

"She threatens to taze everyone," Clint pointed out. He glanced over. "Oh, hey, looks like the newbies arrived."

Thor looked over at them and blinked. "Friends of yours?" he asked Tony.

"Something like that. These are Felicity and Capri, they'll be here for a year and a half, get used to 'em, talk to 'em, try not to scare 'em too bad." Tony grinned and snagged his own plate of food.

Capri just blinked.

Felicity blinked as well, and then glanced around. It couldn't possibly be that easy to just integrate themselves into the Avengers' daily life, could it?

No one protested or did much of anything, really, besides get food. Steve, though, hung back a bit to properly say hi to the girls.

"I'm Steve," he said with a little smile to them both. "I know Tony can be a bit hard to get used to, so just let me know if you have any questions."

"Okay," Felicity said, a bit faintly. It was all a bit overwhelming again. "We'll see what happens. I don't even know who exactly I'm contracted to yet."

"Give it a few days," Steve advised. "This is a big change, and it takes some adjusting. Don't rush yourself. Just let yourself adjust, first."

Felicity nodded a bit.

"Hopefully the next eighteen months work out," she said."

"I'm sure they will," Steve said with a smile. "We're not so bad, really."

Felicity just smiled slightly at that and turned back to her meal. She wasn't sure what else to say, and she had no idea what to talk about.

Steve let her be, instead getting his own food and settling in with the rest of the group.

Capri ate and watched the group in equal parts, because she wanted to know what exactly she'd signed up for.

It took a couple of days for things to really settle after that. Felicity didn't leave their suite much, except for meals, until she felt comfortable enough to venture out and explore some.

Capri ended up baking a lot more and taking things up with her every day for other people to eat, but she didn't really start socializing with the group until she was more comfortable with them, which took a few days.

And then Tony decided that they were comfortable enough to get down to the details of the contracts.

"So, contracts, and details, and things." Tony looked at the girls as he plopped himself down across from them.

"Okay," Felicity said, a bit wary. She turned a bit, giving him her attention. She'd been wondering when they would finally get down to the contracts.

Tony looked at Felicity first.

"So, Cap needs some help really adjusting to this century. And he likes to draw. Loves to draw, actually, he sketches everyone on the team." Tony paused for a moment. "You get to be his new model. Don't worry, nothing more than that, and there are lots and lots of clauses in the contract about your comfort and nothing you don't want to do, blah blah blah. Steve's such an old-timey gentleman he wouldn't take advantage of anything." He rolled his eyes.

Felicity blinked.

"What?" she asked. "Wait a second. I'm going to be a model for Steve Rodgers?"

"Yup." Tony grinned. "As well as helping him out with whatever he needs, contributing to his list of music, movies, etcetera. Things like that."
