You certainly watched the scariest episode first! The Silence is the eleventh doctor I think, so if you watch from the beginning you have to go a while before you see it. I watch who on netflix mostly, though i have seen a few episode sets with the first doctor. He was such a jerk~ I might just skip straight to the second doctor. buu~

The first Del Toro movie I ever saw was I think Pan's Labyrinth. I was way too young o_O but it was awesome.

I think I will definitely skip around with the Doctor Who episodes :) and glad to hear that it is on netflix! My friend lets me borrow his netflix account, so I will be able to watch it if I have time.

Do you have any episode recommendations? or other show recommendations too -- I think I'd like to watch The Strain too and see how it is

Doctor Who is really serial--that is it has a lot of episodes with their own plots, but i would suggest watching the first few episodes of the new series because it really introduces the whole idea of the doctor and time and space travel, etc, really really well. A couple awesome episodes are Silence in the Library and The Empty Child, especially if you want something scary. Plus The Water of Mars. My favorite uplifting episode is Vincent and The Doctor, which is about Vincent Van Gogh. Of course watching from the beginning will make the most sense if you get confused XP and if you'd like it please try Torchwood as well. It's a spinoff that takes place in Cardiff and is about humans reacting to aliens. For shows, if you have Netflix try Helix (scary science), Black Mirror (it's an anthology series and I'll admit i skipped the end of one the episodes cause it was just gross....), and of course all the Star Treks XP. There's great original series on Netflix like Jessica Jones and Daredevil for superhero stuff and then you should rewatch Sherlock cause well.... I watch it over and over^^

Also I watched the trailer for Pandorum and I'll watch it as soon as i have time to sit down. I've been cleaning cleaning cleaning all weekend. And reading Undertale tumblers.

Ah that's awesome! Thank you for your recommendations :) I took a screenshot of your post so that I can refer to it next time I have some time to go on Netflix :)

Pandorum was a great movie! Scared me but was great nonetheless, haha :)

Ahhh cleaning cleaning cleaning! Do you enjoy cleaning? I find cleaning a little therapeutic, actually, so I kind of enjoy it :) makes me feel happy to be getting rid of things or removing dust from the shelves, things like that :)

Undertale is cute <3 I love how it looks kind of like those 8-bit games on those handheld consoles way back when.

Hello!
I agree cleaning is very therapeutic. There is nothing like blaring music and getting rid of ckutter and mess.

Hi FlowrFlavoredJellybeans!! ^_^ glad to see you! And that's awesome! I do the same :) Perfect excuse to blast my playlist, although I do get distracted by singing and dancing while I'm trying to clean :)

I have the problem of getting distracted as well. And pissing off the people who live above me.

Ahh that's always the thing about having people live above or below or even next to you! A few months ago, I was at a friend's party, and some people came complaining about the music. So, our host turned it down a bit, and then all was well :)

Your friend has some very chill neighbors. That always makes life a little easier.

He's a nice guy :) so I guess niceness meeting niceness can lead to a compromise that works for both parties. How do the people who live above you react in that situation?

Also, I had some delicious meatballs for dinner :) Did anyone else eat something good today :)

Normally by banging something on the floor or coming downstairs to tell me to turn it down. Not nicely but not very rude either. I can almost hear the, "stupid kid" in there tine. But me and my roomate are the only college students who live in b this building.

Ah, alright ^^ I guess it could be worse! Like calling the cops or something (I've heard that this happens sometimes). Cool, how is college going? :)

College is going good though I'm so ready to be done! It's been a little slow since I'm living out of the dorms so I had to cut back on my classes to get a job. Are you in school?

That's cool, do you mind if I ask what year you're in and what you are studying? I actually graduated college already but I'm still in school :) but I was also working part-time while I was taking college classes

I don't mind at all. I'm in my final semester of undergrad. I'm majoring in psychology and at the moment I'm torn between two different paths I want to take with it. I hope you don't mind me asking but did you use your degree after school?

Oh that's awesome, so you really are almost done with undergrad!! Congrats :) how do you feel about graduating soon?

What are the two different paths that you are considering, which are related to your major in psychology?

Hmm I guess I did not really use my degree after school. I am currently pursuing a doctorate in a field unrelated to my major.

I'm a little nervous every it feels like I've been in school forever but at the same time so ready to be done with it! You know until grad school. And thank you!
I either want to do Sex Therapy or Family counseling. So both have to do with what I'm studying.

I've heard that from a lot of people that is doesn't matter why your degree is in as much as what you get a masters or doctorate in.

I think it depends on the major. I have a lot of friends who studied computer science and got six figure jobs straight out of college. On the other hand, I also have a lot of friends who are now pursuing the "next step" in their professional path, i.e. trying to get a master's or doctorate degree.

Both options sound interesting :) Are you leaning towards one or the other? When would you have to decide?

I'm leaning towards sex therapy. When I started school I wanted to do family counseling but the more I look into cares after school I just liked the idea of sex therapy more. If I stay in the state I'm in now I'll need to be certified so by the end of the summer. But really I want it figured out before then.

So what are you getting your doctorate in?

FlowrFlavoredJellybeans:

I am pursuing a doctorate in one of the health professions ^_^

May I ask what experiences you have had in sex therapy, family counseling, or psychology in general that inspired you to pursue a career in this area? :)

That's nice. And I'm sure really hard. Good luck!

My family traveled a lot when I was younger. Like I had three different elementary school but in my second year of high school my parents settled in one place and it took a lot for me to get use to that. So they put me in therapy. She was great and at the risk of sounding cliche it was really the kind of safe place I needed to rant and get none biase feedback.
I actual was going for a Secondary education major when I started but changed to psychology halfway through my first year. It was something I had always been interested in but thought I would play it safe with a teaching caree. I took a into level psychology class for fun and after talking with the professor was just like nope this is for me. As for the sex therapy it's just something we covered in one of my classes that I looked more in depth at on my own.
