That is perfectly alright. Those are very interesting color schemes. Do you dress in similar colors as your avatar in real life?

salvete: (hehe sorry for pinging you twice)
No I do not. I Wish I had the items that my avatar has in real life. I usually wear different colored t-shirts with jeans. If I dress formally it is usually a purple dress shirt with either black or grey pants. If I could actually do a steampunk cosplay successfully I would, but alas it requires pocket change and some crafting abilities that I do not feel educated enough about to pursue. Would you wear your avatar's outfit in real life?

Oh! I did not even realize I won a page prize. What a pleasant surprise. Thank you.
To answer your question, I would probably not dress like my avatar in real life. Maybe I would do the boots, shirt, headband, and a longer skirt of the same style, but probably not fuzzy anklets over my boots, tattoos on my face, et cetera.
What is your favorite bug? (Asking because I often see your avatar accompanied by a flying insect.)

Favourite Bug? D=
I can't say i have a favourite haha. I do have a lot of respect for bee's though. They look after our plants, and they only sting if they have to, so i like bee's :)
Wasps however, GO AWAII!!
What is your favourite domesticated pet? Do you own any?
Also thanks for the compliment on my avi 2600! I got the idea from Kasakir who won admins pick and decided to see how i could use the clouds and eyes xD

I also love your avatar!

Thanks Sal!
Um, 5 i think. We had a black cat, and 2 dogs, and then 2 cats decided to befriend us cause they were starving, but one dissapeared again a few weeks after. One of them stayed though and died of old age happily :)
Now they've all gone and we just have one, a male Chihuahua who's 7 months old today. THE LITTLE TERROR

OMG you are posting!
salvete:
No problem. Thank you for always coming and hanging out within the thread. I hope you enjoy it. I would love to try and get to a few more page prizes during the event season. I may make a winter discussion contest or something along those lines.
Lavinia:
Although I may sound a bit like a broken record, my favorite color is purple. Thus, my favorite color to wear is purple. I enjoy all different purples. The royal kinds of purples, the dark rich purples, the neon and florescent purples. Pretty much all of my formal dress shirts are purple in real life.
We shall both be the admin pick one of these days. I know we can do it Lavi. XD Have you ever seen or read D-Gray Man?
-(because there is a character in it named Lavi)-

Lavinia:
The Portrait of Dorian Grey is a wonderful story. Oscar Wilde is a beautiful writer. Shakespeare is as well. If I were to pick a Shakespeare play as my favorite, I would probably go with "King Lear" or "As You Like It". I have only ever seen selections from Shakespeare's works, but I do have an old version of the 'Complete Works of William Shakespeare'. Someday I will read all of his work.
Do you know any musicals? Do you have a favorite musical?

King lear was one i studied in higher education! I liked it. His daughters were awful. Except...um...Cordelia?
Lavinia is awesome, she was tragic. Got abused and had her tongue and hands cut off so she couldnt tell who did it. but she figured out a way.
WATCH TITUS ANDRONICUS.
I dont know many musicals but i love a new one across the universe. It's full of beatles songs. AWESOME.
What was the last band/singer you saw live?

I saw across the universe! It is pretty awesome, especially if you are like me and also listen to a lot of beatles songs.
I saw George Clinton and Parliament front row at a concert. It was an amazing experience and it might have been the last chance for me personally to see such music legends in concert. I also saw many pop and punk artists such as All-American Rejects, Bowling for Soup, Jordan Sparks, Secondhand Serenade, Jess McCartney, Stevie Wonder, and more.

To answer your question, 2600, my favorite item in my inventory here on Menewsha is the Duvalian mining corp. It was given to me by a very kind and awesome person. You can see the little mole accompanying my avatar, which is from this item.
Speaking of moles, have you ever watched Pokemon? What do you suppose Digletts and Dugtrios look like under the dirt?

I think I am about to have some breakfast food...for dinner! It is awesome. I feel llike I have not done breakfast for dinner in a very long time.
salvete:
That is an awesome item. I always love the tumblr pictures of what diglet might look like underground. I would love to think of it as a root that connects improbably to many different trees in the surrounding area and it would move by breaking off of one root and growing a conection to a new root, although if the bottom half actually acted as a tree then it would take absolutely forever for this to happen. What is your favorite emote on Menewsha?
Lavinia: So I shall read Titus Andronicus when I get back to my house. I hope your day went well. Hmm, when did you join menewsha?
Note: The avatar Winter Lounge contest is still going on. Entries are still being accepted.

I feel like I have been here longer, but I actually joined menewsha a few months ago.
I really love the whatever emote. I honestly think it is the emoticon representation of myself in real life because I am always drinking either coffee or tea in a mug while I am on menewsha. Right now I am sitting here with a mug of tea. Those are all cool emotes.
What is your favorite oceanic life form?
Lavinia: I have Titus Andronicus bookmarked in my complete works and shall read it within the week. I do not know where to go to find a live recording of this play though. It does not seem to take up too many pages within the complete works. Do you know/think that it is a fairly short play?

My favorite oceanic life form...hmm...I don't think I have ever really thought about this. I guess I will say...dinoflagellates? The ones that bioluminesce and make the ocean all beautifully bright and sparkly. ^_^

Hmm, i remember it being fairly normal length, i saw a movie version with anthony hopkins but it was slightly modernised. Still good though Hopkins is great as Titus!
It's tragic though. Poor Poor Lavinia T_T

salvete: if you are asking about a piece of land then I guess I would say New Zealand. I have never been there, but I know it is beautiful. I would love to sojourn over there sometime. I technically have one friend that lives there. :0
Lavinia: the play is definitely listed under tragedies in my collection.
Do you have a drivers license? If yes, do you remember what you had to do for your drivers test?

Yes 2600, definitely a tragedy. Have you read the synopsis?
It has some great speeches in it though. From Titus especially. Lavinia is mostly a silent character, but she's very important to Titus!
What did you think of Merchant of Venice if you have read/seen that? I liked it. The Jew speech is one of my favourite speeches in Shakespeare.
No Fear Shakespeare: The Merchant of Venice: Act 3, Scene 1, Page 3
Thissa one. Shylocks response at the bottom is sooo powerful!

Lavinia:
I have a confession. Honestly I have a lot of Shakespeare and even a fair share of no fear Shakespeare books, but I have not read them. The only play I ever saw of Shakespeare was an elementary version of hamlet. I am afraid I am uneducated in the works if Shakespeare although I still know random monologues from my acting days.
What is your favorite speech in Shakespeare's works?

Ah i see! I thought by your interest you may have read more but thats perfectly fine, i still have a few i haven't read aswell. I just love some of the speeches Shakespeare wrote, so powerful and emotional.
That Jew speech probably IS my favourite, there are a few awesome ones in Titus but Shylock's is my favourite. I read it out loud sometimes just because it is so well written xD
Do you like any other Classic playwrights or authors?

The Great Gatsby is good, although i've not seen the new movie for it yet! I hope it does it justice.
And Of Mice and Men is cool.
To be honest i enjoyed every book i had to study in high school purely because our teacher was awesome and made it fun!
Did you enjoy Sports at school?

Maha-Aamir:
The lounge just has a three sentence minimum. It does ask you to put a question at the end of each post. As long as you do it often enough you are fine. If you have more than three sentences or are continuing a conversation the rule can be nulled. Also if you are here often I can be more lenient. I always love you avatar by the way.
Did you make the signature yourself?
