"Look like you're loungin' around to me, Stevie," Bucky said. He smirked again and headed outside, taking a deep breath once he was out in the open.

Steve made a face after him, but he got up to go see if he could help set some things up. "Sure you don't want any help?" he asked Gemma.

Kenzie spotted him almost immediately but didn't head over to him. Instead she shifted her weight, carefully, and lowered herself until her belly was flat on the ground. She was trying very hard not to dislodge Clint.

Clint still gave a rather high-pitched yelp when Kenzie suddenly moved.

"Not attached, here!" he yelled.

"I think I'm good," Gemma said, glancing over. "Unless you know how to cleanse a space, but otherwise I'm all set." She smiled a bit. "How does it feel in here? Fresh? Cleaner?"

Kenzie rumbled. I would apologize, she said, her tone impish, but that was really rather amusing.

Steve nodded after a moment of consideration. "It does, yeah," he agreed. "It's a bit small but I get the feeling a few people might end up outside."

Bucky just snorted and made his way over to do some investigating of his own.

"Probably," Gemma agreed, nodding. "Kenzie will, at least."

Kenzie held still for him as well, although she lowered her head to the ground so she could look at him. I've plenty of room if you also wish to use me as an impromptu jungle gym.

"Bucky might, he was getting a bit titchy in here." Steve grinned. "More room for us that way."

"I'm alright for now," Bucky replied, shaking his head a bit. "I'm good on the ground."

"Speak for yourself," Gemma teased. "I'm armed with bedding and a bug-repellant spell. I can sleep outside."

Kenzie rumbled her agreement and settled down again, her tail flicking lazily from side to side.

"If many more people end up outside everyone might just say screw it and sleep outside," Steve said with a grin. It wasn't a bad option, after all.

"It's an option," Gemma said, shrugging a bit. "Set up some lanterns outside, mark out an area in the field, it's definitely possible."

"Yeah." Steve glanced outside. "So long as Kenzie's not prone to rolling over in her sleep, anyway."

"She's like a giant cat," Gemma replied, grinning a bit. "Once she finds a comfortable spot, she stays there."

Now that things were starting to settle, it was Tony's turn to edge a bit closer and try to investigate. He was still trying to believe what he was seeing. Until half an hour ago, there were still no such thing as dragons, and now his science-oriented mind was desperately trying to keep up. Aliens still made more sense than dragons, at this point.

Kenzie had managed to find a comfortable way to sprawl to give Clint maximum climbing and exploring while still being extremely comfortable herself. She looked at Tony through half-closed eyes, not wanting to startle him.

"Well, small favors," Steve muttered. Because that would be a sucky way to die. Squished by a dragon in her sleep.

Tony had on a sort of tiny headset with a single lens, and there were tiny numbers scrolling across it. He edged closer to Kenzie, and after a moment, his hand flashed out and he prodded one of her scales.

Kenzie didn't even twitch. Honestly, she hadn't even felt that. Her scales were there for a reason, after all, and sensitivity was not it.

When she didn't react, Tony prodded again. Dragons were way outside of his scientific experience, so he had zero idea of what he was doing.

"How do you even work?" he asked finally, looking up at her. "There are physics that say you're impossible. A lot of physics."

There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Kenzie said teasingly. Physics dislike me because I disobey their rules so often.

"No, disobeying physics is a bumblebee being able to achieve flight," Tony replied. "This, this is something else entirely, for example, where does all that mass even go? And there's no way wings that size should be able to get that much mass off the ground, it shouldn't be possible."

Lots of things shouldn't be possible. I am a creature of magic, Tony. I was born of magic, and I shall always have my magic. It does not fit with your science because your science is limited. There is only so much humans can learn themselves. Kenzie shifted enough to look at him, rather belatedly wondering if maybe that had been offensive rather than just blunt.

"Nope, that's not going to work, everything can be explained with science, some things just take longer," Tony replied stubbornly. "And I'm going to figure it out, just you watch."

I look forward to whatever explanation you come up with, Kenzie said, sounding amused. Would you like any samples? I have a loose scale or two that you are welcome to.

"Samples?" Tony perked up a bit at that, even though biology wasn't his strong suit. Then he paused. "What's the catch?"

Kenzie blinked at him. Why must there be a catch? You are one of mine, and this is what you wish, yes? She moved enough to pluck a scale loose with her teeth, dropping it in front of him. I enjoy spoiling those who are mine. Ask Gemma.

"There's always a catch," Tony said. After a moment's deliberation, he reached out and grabbed the scale. Oh, he and Brucie were going to have so much fun trying to figure this out...

Kenzie huffed at him and settled down again. Science later, she said. Or I'll start feeling neglected.

Tony blinked.

"What do you mean?" he asked. "There is totally enough of me to go around, I swear, just ask the others."
