Alice remembered these woods very well. She remembered getting horribly lost and Hatter coming to her rescue. She remembered Chess teasing her. She made sure she stayed close to Hatter this time.

Cheshy are you here?" Hatter called out as they continued to walk through the woods. The talking flowers looked carefully at them both, but were surprised to see that Alice had returned.

Alice glanced down at them remembering them calling her a weed. "Chesire, we need your help."

"Help? Did someone ask for help?" Chesire purred appearing right above Hatter taking his hat.

"You really do love my hat don't you?" Hatter said and grinned. "We do need your help yes. We are looking for the white rabbit. Might you know where he is?" he asked politely.

"Not really. Your hair is amusing when I take your silly hat." Chesire smirked. "So you're looking for Rabbit? Does Alice want to go home already? Didn't think you could scare her off that quick Hatter. "

"Chesire please?" Alice asked nicely.

"You're no fun. Rabbit is with the Queen. It's game day."

"Gameday..." Hatter repeated and frowned slightly. This meant that they'd have to wait until they saw him. There was no way that they could just walk into the castle and take some fabric, the queen would have their heads.Quickly, the hatter fixed his hair and put his hat back on. "I suppose we'll just have to wait Alice." Hatter commented.

"Well that's fine. I'm sure I can think of something to wear until then. " Alice smiled. She looked around the woods and a shudder ran through her. Memories of last time filling her head.

Seeing her shudder, Hatter wondered if something was bothering her. "Is something the matter Alice?" he asked curiously. Cheshy had vanished by then, so now he and Alice were alone again.

Alice looked at Hatter and nodded. "Just remembering last time I was in these woods." She said looking around.

"It's been a long time hasn't it? Wonderland hasn't changed though. At least, I don't think so." he said softly and looked over at the flowers who were still watching them before returning his attention back to Alice. "We should go back to my house and keep talking. I want to know more about your life outside of Wonderland." Hatter commented.

"Alright. Though I'm sure it's going to bore you to tears. " Alice said letting him lead her back out of the woods.

"Why do you think that Alice?" Hatter asked as they walked back to his house. "I don't think it will be boring. I think it will be fascinating to know all you've done while you were gone." he commented.

"Well I'll tell you if your interested, but in my world it's a bit mundane." Alice shrugged. She was glad once they got out of that forest, she didn't like them and hated having to be in them.

"Well I am interested. Tell me about your life there, and about this fiance of yours. Why do your parents want you to made him? Hatter asked curiously as he opened the door for her.

Alice thought for a moment. " He's got a lot of money. That's why. His family is a bunch of business big wigs. Honestly he's not a bad guy, just not my type." She shrugged.

"I see. Well at least he's not a bad guy." Hatter said and tilted his head to the side."Do you have a date already for the wedding?" Hatter asked and thought for a second while he made tea. "What is your type Alice?" he asked curiously.

Alice sighed. "Ya, we did. Three days after graduation in June. At least he was going to let me finish before making me a stay at home wife." She sighed. His next question made her blush. "I like when people choose challenge me. Let me use my brain. You know? I don't want to be treated like I'm ignorant."

"Yes, that's nice of him to do that. Not everyone will you know." Hatter replied and handed her a cup of tea."I see. Well I can understand wanting to use your head. You really should use it since you have one. You know that not many people do." he said with a grin as he sipped his tea.

Alice laughed at that. Just how things that made sense to say to her, how they could be so easily taken differently here. "Well doesn't matter. I'm not going to marry him. I also want someone to love me you know? Not my status. "

That's understandable Alice. We all want to be loved for who we are." Hatter started and shrugged. "I'm sure you'll meet someone like that someday. It won't be easy, but it will happen eventually. Just have to be patient and wait for it." the hatter explained softly.

"There's a word that doesn't explain me." Alice smiled. " I don't know Hatter. Though I formed a bit of a crush on you when I was here last. But I was just a silly kid then."

"I don't know why anyone would have a crush on me. It sounds painful and dangerous!" Hatter said and grinned."Besides, I'm completely mad. I don't know what you saw in me Alice." he added with a shrug of his shoulders as he brushed some hair from his face.

"No a crush is a good thing. It means some one really likes you. More than a friend." Alice blushed. "And maybe madness isn't so bad after all."

"Well now, I never said madness was a bad thing." Hatter said and grinned. "Do you still have this crush on me?" Hatter asked curiously.

"I um..."Alice blushed. "no. More a curiosity. "She shrugged.
