Two long days later the carriage pulled up to a large Victorian manor surrounded by a large iron fence. The manor was dark but as the carriage pulled into the driveway the door swung open and Beth rushed out to greet them grinning. "Welcome to my home." Lori smiled.

dAMIEN BLINKED IN AW."WOW ITS BEAUTIFYUL",HE SAID SOFTLY, AND OFFERED HER A HAND TO HELP HER GET OUT

Lori stepped out the hugged Beth. "Here we go." she smiled and entered the dark building. A butler hurried to collect there belonging as her mother and father descended the stairs. Two maids turned the lights on as more vampire's appeared from other room eyeing Damien. Some where centuries old other just a few years old.

Damein had been prepareing,so he made sure not to show fear,he gave a respectful bow to Loris parents.

"Hello Damien." Her mother gave his forehead a kiss. "This man is our guest if anyone should touch him they will answer for it." She smiled at him. "Welcome to are home."

Damien blushed some but smiled."thank you for having,your home is beautiful"

"Thank you child." Her mother smiled. "Beth join them for a tour just remember Lori the end of the wet wing is off limits." She reminded her daughter who nodded. "Come on I'll show you around." As she walked towards the living room the assembled vampires bowed to her.

Damien nodded."sounds like fun",she said happily and blinked at the other vampires

"This is the dinning hall, the ballroom. That's the east wing...are lord and the first vampires sleeps there only the oldest vampires gets to go there." Lori whispered sounding in awe.

Damien blinked watching the hall way."wow",he said looking in amazement too.

"Come on." Lori had caught her grandmother scowling at them. "Damien this is my grandmother, Grand Duchess Maria Antoinette named after the great Queen." she smiled at the woman who smiled back and held out her hand where a shiny ruby ring sat as if she expected him to kiss it.

Damien smiled and bowed gently taking her hand and kissed the ring,hoping he was doing it right."its a please to meet you ma'dam"

"Such a gentlemen." The duchess smiled at him then moved aside. 'Just remember my boy not to go down that hallway and to take good care of are princess if all goes well between you two we may consider keeping you as one of are own."

Damien gave a kind smiled."of course",he said nodding about the hall way and blinked a bit and smiled."I would give my life for Lori,and if all does go well, I would like that very much",he bowed once more."thank you for having me"

"You have the week to convince us not to eat you." Antoinette smirked then headed down the forbidden hallway. "I'm sure she's just kidding." Lori soothed Damien though she didn't sound too sure.

Damien smield a bit and looked to Lori,not looking scared."I'll do what it takes...",he said softly.

Lori nodded then continued to the tour leading the way up the staircase. "here's the music room and then papa's office along with all the other bedrooms and bathrooms. Under no means are you to go in any room but mine or Beth's." she pointed to a door with a pink wreath on it. "That's Beth room. This is mine." her room had a red rose painted to it surrounded by vines and leaves as if they were protecting the rose.

Damien blinked a bit and nodded."alright,that's an easy enough rule",he said softly and looked to Lori."your home is amazing.

"Thanks." Lori blushed opening the door to her room. A beautiful princess style sat in the middle of the dark room. The room was purple from the blankets to the heavy curtains that kept the sun out. Her bed even had purple curtains around it "What do you thing?"

Damien smiled softly."I like it,its very you",he smiled softly."so its safe to say if i get you anything to make sure its purple?",he asked jokingly

"Well I do love purple it doesn't have to be that color." Lori chuckled softly and plopped down to take her shoes off. "I'll show you to your room...you'll have to go out for food all we have here is blood. " she grimaced. "I'll be going with you of course."

Luce smiled softly."alright,sounds good to me",he said answering to both questions.

Lori lead the way to a plain cream colored room. "It's rather simple but it's pretty." she smiled at him. "I hope you like it."

Damien smiled at her.this is great",he leaned over kissing her ceek.'thank you"

Lori blushed then yawned. "I'm going to take a nap wake me when you get hungry." She gave him a hug then went back to her room.
