Kinda tired but otherwise okay. Not too happy to be back at work but it was inevitable. ^^; How about you?

That's good to hear. Yeah yeah, such is the life, yeah? Are you at work now? I'm doing ok, slowly woke up - found out that my Nook is at the post office - but mail pick up isn't till 11 am. So I have to wait just a little bit longer, and the case should get here tomorrow. :D Hopefully! :)

Yeah, I'm at work now. On my lunch break for now. I think I might go out for a bit though.

Oooh, I hate waiting for things like that! You'll be able to play with it soon though!

Oh, nice! If you do go out, hope that it's a nice break. :]

Mom's out now, on a walk, and I wish her phone was on so I could ask her to check the mail before coming home, as she'll be home after the pick up time at our Post Office. Maybe she'll do it without me having to remind her - hopefully!

Hello mysticeyes2987!

@ Cloud: I ended up going out and smelling perfumes at the local Sephora. I have a gift card and I've been trying to decide what to buy with it. ^^; Any news on the Nook?

Especially considering that I've never bought a perfume before. It's like an alien world to me. I have no idea what I'm doing... I found one that I really like but it's quite expensive so I dunno. Trying to decide, gar!

Yayayay!

Oh, same here. I'm actually allergic to most perfume smells - so I tend to stay away from it myself. But I got a bunch of credit to Barnes and Nobel and iTunes for Christmas so I know how hard it is to pick certain things - too many things on my wish lists!

YEAH!! :D Got the basics set up! Time to start reading!! :D

---------- Post added 12-29-2014 at 11:39 AM ----------

Mom checked the mail before coming home from her walk and I nearly 'mobbed' her - grabbed the box and ran back inside, when she got home.

Yeah, a lot of perfumes give me a headache so I need to find ones that agree with me.

ROFL! What are you reading now? I'm almost done with the book I'm reading now thankfully. It was an okay book but I'm ready to move onto something different.

Good luck!!

In my defense, it was cold and I was barefoot. Lol!!
I can't decide. I think I'll read The Fiery Heart - which is the fourth book in the Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead. :)
Not sure though. Too many to choose from!
What are you currently reading?

I haven't heard of that one, is it any good?

I'm reading Murder in Lamut by Raymond E. Feist. It's book like gazillion or something in this thirty book series I've been reading. Normally I love these books but this one just isn't really my thing. They're all set in this medieval fantasy world.

Mmm, I'll let you know. I'm only like a page in. :P
But I've liked all the other books in the series - this author also wrote the Vampire Academy series. :]

Ah! I have a friend who's probably read that book - possibly. It sounds like a genre that she'd like. :)

I'm trying to decide what to read next. I have a bunch of free books that I got at Comic con so I should probably work on reading some of them. I just don't want to get stuck reading another boring book though. xD

Oh, free books are always lovely. Totally know the feeling about that though. If you don't like it, can't you just stop reading it? You don't have to read it all the way through if it's boring, yeah?

I should just give up if I don't like the book but I hardly ever. Sometimes I keep going thinking that it will get better or just because I can't stand to stop in the middle of it. Even this one book that I thought was horrible I just kept on reading until I couldn't stand it. Then I broke down and just started reading the dialogue just so I could finish it. XD

Did that help you get through it faster by just reading the dialogue?
Although I totally know the feeling of not being able to stop reading a book even if I don't really like it.
It really does depend on the genre.
And also depends on if I really do need to read it, or if I'm reading it just for fun.

Yeah because it was just a lot of dumb crap happening. With skimming the dialogue it only took me a few hours to finish the last half of the book.

Yeah, I was so glad for it to be over. I think there were another four books left in that series and it was only the first one. There was no way in hell I was going to pick up any of the others after that. XD
