Anyways, before I start to ramble lol, how do the crystals work? Is it like some kinda special thing you have to do with them?
Hi, I'm Immy, I can help you will all your questions you have. So let me begin.

Question: How do the crystals work?
Answer: Crystals process energy through a thought, command, or other ways of showing positive or negative waves. So .If you place a rose quartz crystal next to your bed to bring calm and compassion in your life...that one little thought you made when you placed it on your bed table is how that crystal generated the help you needed. A lot of people say it's a trick of the mind, but those are the ones who can't open their minds to see something new. Different. Now there are different uses for crystals, one of my favorite is a quartz, similar to the color of the moon (depending on the color), and is used for protection as well as physic connection. Crystals and gemstones are quite similar to each other, just different ways of using them.

This is how it's connected to chakra (the energy within our body) so the crystals can mix with our own energies.

Just a heads up that this link here, when you get to the bottom of the page just highlight the black areas and it will reveal each one.

I hope that helps, ask more questions you'll get more answers.

The only special thing you need to do with crystals is once a month (try on a full moon for more spiritual power/connection) but put them in a bowl with sea salt if you can (if not, try regular table salt), and let them soak for a couple of days or longer. At least 2-3 minimum. This will up cleanse them from any energies that twisted into them. You want the crystals to be positive to have a better influence on you. You also don't want to be upset around the crystals for they take that negativity in. Though sometimes it helps us more in the end as we'll just cleanse the crystals more. You can do this more than once a month if you wish.

Hi Maha. I'm Immy, if you read what I told the user above me, you'll see that I added a bit about it. If you would like to know more on this subject, I have this other hang out that you can join in (it's a bit school based and yes there will be mini quizzes/etc) but there are prizes there as well. Plus you'll get to learn about new things.

I hope it's okay for me to post in here...
Those images are absolutely gorgeous and very relaxing.

I have been interested in spirituality lately. I've been doing things such as says smudges and using mandalas. I don't know what I believe, but I do believe that religion and spirituality can go together.

I'm rather interested to see what more this thread has to say! I'm currently on my phone so I can't really check out the links like I want to right now. ;(

I love mandalas!! They are just so cool and relaxing to make. They are really pretty to look at. I even have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to them! Have you heard of zentangles? Those are really cool too

Mandalas are really awesome. :)
I love them as well! Pintrest has a lot of really interesting things, I bet you can find tons of mandalas there as well as lots of things for meditation.
I have recently heard of zentangles from a woman at my job. I was wearing henna on my hands and she mentioned the designs looked like zentangles!

Ooohh, henna! I haven't worn or done someone else's henna in a long while. The stuff now is chemically enhanced, and I get really scared of putting it on But yeah, there's a ton of stuff on Pinterest when it comes to designs and such. It's really addicting, actually. I get carried away pinning things that aren't remotely relevant to my board and then I end up having to create a whole other board

Yeah, you've got to be careful about henna. I usually get mine done when I go to the farmer's market, there's a lady there who makes her own henna paste and I find it's so much safer to go that route. I've heard of people doing something called "black henna" and it apparently can leave your skin really, really messed up.
Pintrest seems cool! I never really got addicted to it like I do to Tumblr though. XD

Even the normal henna has chemicals in it now to not only preserve it longer, but to make the color darker in a shorter amount of time. Oh yeah, black henna is really weird. If you don't take it off fast enough the acid kind of eats away at your skin, basically giving you a semi-permanent tattoo Where do you live, exactly? Because henna grows on trees and it only grows in tropical climates, unless the lady somehow gets her henna leaves shipped?

Ah, I did not know that! But I wouldn't doubt it. Henna is a type of plant, right? So it'd make sense that it would need some chemicals in order to keep longer. Yeah, black henna is definitely scary. It's sad that people would actually make a product like that, knowing what harm it could do and use it on other people.
I actually live in a very un-tropical place, so I honestly have no idea where this woman gets her henna leaves from. :o I'll have to ask next time the farmer's market is in town! :)

Yeah, it is the dye of crushed leaves from the henna tree. It used to take about a couple hours of drying the stuff before it was a dark red, now it takes less than an hour. Which is good for me because I don't have the time to sit around for a couple hours anymore Black henna is used for people who have a business drawing henna designs and for temporary tattoo outlines. I don't know if they use it for weddings, but if they do, its a pretty ugly color for a wedding if you ask me. Ask her if she buys henna powder, that could also be an option (but I remember you saying that she makes her own henna, so that may not be too strong of a conclusion )

Really? I didn't know it took less than an hour to become red! When I have my henna done I usually keep it on for at least four hours! (On a good day I'll keep it on for eight! Lol!) If I had known it didn't take that long I would have definitely taken it off much sooner. But I have dark skin so I always worry that if I take it off sooner than four hours it will be a light orange and will blend into my skin color and not show up as red as I'd like it to.
I absolutely love the henna for weddings! So beautiful! I bet it's a painfully long process though. Yeah, I agree, black henna would make an ugly wedding color.

@Immy
Those images are so breathtaking! I really loved the orange one with the person floating above the water. That one is so amazing!

I usually wash mine off with water. Its better to just let the henna dry up and chip off, that way it wouldn't be as light of an orange. My skin is a lighter color, so I guess it takes less time. Oh my God, henna designs on weddings are so complicated. It takes so long that they have to have a separate day from the wedding day to do it! Its pretty, but I wouldn't be able to sit around for hours and wait for it to dry. That would be a nightmare I can't imagine black henna being used for a wedding. Black henna just looks gross in general

Yeah I prefer letting the henna chip off slowly rather than washing it off, I like the lines to be dark. :P I used to but henna powder and make it myself and one time I was in a rush after I put some on my feet and I just washed it off with water and it did get darker over a few hours but it was so light I could hardly see it. :(
I find that with lighter skin the henna patterns look so vibrant! My skin is sort of a caramel-y color so the light orange blends in.
Black henna definitely looks gross! D; I am too scared to use black henna, especially after seeing those images of those blisters and skin issues that people get after using it.
