At least the day is now behind you. Sorry this is so late, I've just not had any energy to get online lately.

It is helping letting me just get it out - I'm just tired of my parents acting so selfishly and not seeing that their actions are hurting me. :( All I want is to be happy, and I am that - except for what they're doing is messing with things, but meh...
I'm glad that he's supportive too - he's the complete opposite of my ex, that's for sure. I really did luck out.
For sure!! That's so true!!

Oh!! We found out we're having a girl! :D Another little girl! ^_^

High School. It's finally over. IT'S FINALLY OVER AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MY EXTRA TIME. I've been waiting for the day that I get out of high school and it's finally here and I have all this extra time and I'm doing absolutely nothing. And that bothers me more than it should because isn't that what I was asking for these past four years?? *sigh* The graduation ceremony is coming up in a couple of days and I'm not exactly looking forward to it. It will just rub in my face how much of a failure I am and my mom won't be that much of a help either. I actually am thinking of just driving myself to graduation and not inviting anyone but the people closest to me :/

Salvete: Thanks!!

Aimless.Wanderer: I remember feeling the same way when I finished High School. It's a weird feeling. Why is it a rub in your face how big a failure you are? You've done it, haven't you? You've graduated and finished. That's a huge accomplishment! I'm proud of you!!

Congratulations to Aimless.Wanderer on your graduation!!! I have similar questions as Moonlit Freedom regarding why the graduation would be a failure?

I would only see it as a failure if you weren't graduating, but you've made it through and accomplished it! Huge congratulations!

@ sal, @ Moonlit - Well, my mom thinks that if you graduate high school without honors of any kind then you're a failure. I did take the IB Diploma program, but that isn't good enough for her apparently. I'm just glad that I graduated and its all over. But anyways, now I have the graduation parties I have to deal with. I do plan on getting a small group of people to hang out at my house, no big celebration or anything. Just me and my friends spending a day together before everyone disperses to college this fall. My mom wants to have a graduation party, but I don't want people that I don't know coming to my graduation. Just because my mom knows them doesn't mean I do.

If I recall correctly, you plan to attend university either this or next year? By sophomore year of college, high school accomplishments (unless ongoing) are omitted from your resume. Lack of high school honors doesn't mean much in the long run.

The small hangout sounds nice :) For the graduation party, whom would your mom invite that you don't know?

It shouldn't matter what your mom thinks, to me... it's a huge accomplishment no matter what!! You did it hon!!

I can understand that support from family or friends would be important to you, but I agree with Moonlit Freedom that it is a huge accomplishment :) It is not something everyone in the world is able to do!

By the way, I love your avatar, Moonlit Freedom! The use of all the green tones is super lovely :)

Vinny XIII and Moonlit Freedom, two gorgeous avatars I see before me!! I am in the middle of figuring out a new outfit based on some of the new event commons, so bear with me on that, heheh.

How has everyone been? Real life has taken me away for a long while so I have not been able to come on Menewsha all that often. But, I am still alive and well! Hope you are all doing well in your respective corners of the Meneverse and beyond :)

Real life has been throwing me for loops lately - I'm less than a month away from my due date, and being put onto bed rest has just pushed my mood into one that's not as good - it's what's best for her, but mommy is done with being pregnant. *sigh* So I know how it is to not be on all that often as that happens quite often for me as well.

And Moon, I just realized that you and my nephew's girlfriend are pretty close in your due dates! She's going to be having her baby in a couple weeks!

I'm freezing today, and snuggled up in one my hubby's big sweatshirts - as it's the only thing I could find that'd fit over my belly!

When's her due date? :) September 17th if mine - so really soon! What is your nephew's girlfriend having? :D

I'm sorry you're freezing hun, that's cool you can wear your hubby's sweater though!
Oh nice! That's closer than I thought! They say if she doesn't go into labor by the 13th then they're going to induce her. She's going to have a boy, but I keep getting the feeling she's going to have a girl lol. Maybe it's cause Tashaka sounds more like a girl name to me lol.
