Jamil listened to Shiva as he continued to work on Sylph's dinner. "Syrma huh? Nice name." He said and glanced over at Shiva and noticed the other girl but quickly went back to work. "Well Shiva, is she working here now?" Jamil asked and heard Sylph make a soft noise. "Almost done little buddy." he said reassuringly. "If she is not a servant, then I'm sure my lord wouldn't mind her joining them at the dinner table." Jamil explained.

Rurik heard his parents getting closer and looked back to see that they were just walking inside the house and headed his way. They all entered the dining room and took their seats. "Sorry we took so long, we were just catching up with an old friend." Atros explained. "Where's your sister?" asked Irsa. "In her room I'm assuming. She'll get here soon enough." Rurik answered.

"Um... well... the king and queen said I don't have to and that I could just live here but the pince said if I wanted to work with Shiva I could... and i decided I wanted to help." Syrma explained softly and to most it would probably be shocking that she wanted to help as much as she did.

"Well we could always use the extra help. If my lord and my lady see you as a friend, then you should be able to sit with them." Jamil replied easily and set down a bowl of food for Sylph. "There you go." he said and washed his hands.

"Thank you Jamil." Shiva smiled before leading Syrma back towards the dining room entrance. "Why don't you see if you can eat with them for today? if you feel uncomfortable then tomorrow you can eat with us, is that ok?" Shiva smiled and Syrma smiled and nodded back before going into the dining room feeling rather nervous and meek as she entered hoping that it really was okay for her to eat in there.

"You're welcome Shiva." Jamil said and smiled. The other servants were busy serving the dinner when Syrma walked in. Irsa looked over at her, surprised to see her there. "Hello Syrma, will you be joining us for dinner?" she asked. Rurik was surprised to see her there since he thought she would prefer to eat with Shiva.

"Um... yes I would like to if that's okay?" Syrma asked blushing a little, it had been some time since she had been able to eat with and be around others... she kinda missed it and wanted to get to know the people she would be living with.

"Alright, well take a seat Syrma." Irsa said and frowned slightly. "Rurik, where is your sister? Is she not going to join us for dinner?" she asked. Rurik shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not sure but we should eat before the food gets cold." he said. "I'm sure Meleanie will eat her dinner soon enough, she's probably talking with her friends or something" Atros replied.

Jamil served himself some dinner and pet Sylph before leaving into the back room where he sat at the small table and began to eat quietly.

Syrma felt a little uneasy and nervous but took a seat then looked up when Mel came in and took her seat was well. "I'm sorry I'm late, I was making sure that my friends were seen off safely." Mel explained then smiled to Syrma a bit. "Hello there, I'm guessing you're Syrma aren't you? It's very nice to meet you." she smiled softly and Syrma smiled back. "It's nice to finally get to actually meet you too." she said softly.

"Oh Jamil if you like I could tell you what happened now since you are on break." Shiva offered softly between bites.

"Father, you were right about Mel." Rurik noted. "I'm usually always right." Atros replied with a smirk. "Usually." repeated Irsa before starting to eat her dinner. Rurik watched his family eat their dinner and said nothing as he ate his dinner in silence while his parents chatted.

"I'm all ears Shiva." Jamil replied and brushed some hair out of his eyes.

"Well when those people came today they wanted to see me and Shiva as you probably know, they really thought i was a spy I guess. Anyway when they came to used a spell to try and bring out I guess whatever angel they thought was here and I started to black out, but before I did I saw Imber change and turn into Syrma. Miss Syrma was my mistress when I was young, I helped raise her really and we were really close friends. Now I didn't know this until after i woke up later but apparently Syrma is from an old angel kingdom that used to be very close to here, right on the border and and she was apparently turned into a fox and sent away with me when the kingdom was attacked. It's a little confusing since i don't remember most of it myself but apparently Miss Syrma is... or was a very important person, general Kaji knew about her and apparently the king and queen knew her parents as well." Shiva explained hoping that she didn't confuse him in the least

Jamil listened in silence and nodded in understanding. He had been a servant for this family for six years now and he had never heard about this before. "Well that's rather interesting. So what happens now? She isn't a slave but wants to work like one?" he commented and chuckled as he took another bite of his food.

"I don't know... I don't quite understand it myself, while I do love to work and serve Master i've been a servant all my life... but Miss Syrma says she wants to help me... to repay all my kindness and to repay Master's family." Shiva explained softly but smiled a little. "I don't mind but I don't think I can allow her to work too hard, even though Master is my master now Miss Syrma was my mistress... I don't think I could allow her to work until she's tired." She explained softly as she continued to eat but was about finished.

"Before you start making your own decisions, I suggest you talk about this with my young lord." Jamil suggested. "We wouldn't want you to be punished again. Wouldn't want to upset him." he said and continued to eat. He didn't like to sound bossy, but he really didn't want her to get in trouble since he knew how upset Rurik would get if Shiva did whatever she wanted.

Rurik ate his dinner while listening to his family talk about anything that was on their minds. When he finished his dinner, Rurik finished up his drink and let out a satisfied sigh. It was actually nice to hear some talking going on in the dinner table, usually it was very quiet.

"W-well... Yes... I would have to talk to master... The king and queen didnt seem to want her to work but she insisted... But shes never cleaned anything other then her room... I just dont want her to over do it you know?" she offered softly

Jamil nodded as he finished up his food. "I know Shiva. Makes sure to talk to my lord as soon as you can, just to be safe." he said as he stood up and grabbed the dishes then left to wash them.

When dinner was all done, Rurik whistled to call over Sylph who quickly ran over to him. Picking him up, Rurik buried his face in Sylph's feathers and let out a sigh. Sylph had gotten bigger over the days, and he and Rurik had gotten very close but they still had some time apart; mostly when Sylph decided he wanted to nap.

"I think I'll do that soon." Shiva said and took her own dishes to the kitchen before spotting Syrma as she left the dining room. They spoke for a little bit before Shiva lead her off so they could find Rurik and ask him what he thought so Shiva didn't get in trouble.

Rurik was outside laying on the grass while he watched Sylph perch himself up on a branch. "It must be nice having no responsibilities." he mutter to himself and laughed softly just seeing how happy Sylph was. "You got big real fast you know. Must be all the food Jamil feeds you huh?" Rurik said softly.

Shiva spotted Rurik outside and paused a bit unsure, she didn't want to bother him but it was starting to get late... and Syrma was starting to look tired. "Um Master... I'm sorry if we disturbed you but may we speak with you?" she asked softly as she walked outside with Syrma hoping she hadn't disturbed him

Hearing Shiva, Rurik looked over at her and forced himself to stand up. "Alright. What is it that you both need to talk to me about?" Rurik asked and raised an eyebrow questioningly. He hoped it was important, but why else would Shiva want to speak to him for right?

"Well... I know Syrma asked if she could work with me and help but I'm just a little worried... I don't want her to over do it... s-so... I was wondering if I could have permission... to tell her when she can stop working?" Shiva asked a little worried that this might upset him somehow... she just hoped if it did he didn't punish her in front of Syrma... or really that day at all since she was still weak from that morning

This request surprised Rurik but he chuckled anyway. "You are a funny one Shiva. So really, what did you want to talk about?" he asked and then realized that her request was exactly what she wanted to talk yo him about. "Oh you were serious..." Rurik said and ran a hand through his hair. "Well the is a surprise. The servant asking for permission to play the part of the master." he said and smirked. "Shiva...listen to me." he started and placed a hand on her shoulder and traced her neck with his finger. "You are lucky that I'm not thirsty. Or else you'd be in trouble." he admitted and sighed. "You do as I say Shiva. I'm sure Syrma here is smart enough to never push herself past her limit. She is no one's servant, but you are mine. Therefore I have no control over what she does, but I do have control over what you do. Syrma is a smart girl I would like to think, and doesn't need anyone telling her what and what not to do. She's a big girl. I do admire that you are looking out for her and that's fine." Rurik replied before narrowing his eyes. "But do not order her around. You are in no position to order anybody around." he explained. "You want to know what happened to my last personal servant Shiva?" he asked but didn't give her time to answer. "She died Shiva. Want to know how? I killed her. And do you want to know why? It was because she never knew her place. So I had to put her in her place, and I really don't want to put you in your place Shiva because I know you're better than her." he explained and whistled over at Sylph who flew to his arms. "If that is all, I suggest we all get some sleep. It was lovely talking to you two, goodnight and sleep well. Come on Sylph, off to bed." he said and excused himself as he left back to his room with Sylph.

"N-no M-master that's... that's not what I-...." Shiva started but suddenly turned pale and whimpered fearfully trembling quite a bit as she listened to Rurik then looked at Syrma who seemed just as shocked and rather scared as well. "D-don't worry Shiva... I'll... be sure not to over work myself... j-just do whatever he says okay?" she said softly before they both headed in and each went to their own rooms to get ready for bed. Shiva was still pretty rattled though and really scared she might do something by accident to make him want to kill her. She decided that tomorrow she would need to apologize and see how she could make it up to him... she didn't want him to be mad at her.

When they arrived at his room, Rurik set Sylph down after closing the door behind him and began to get ready for bed. Today was an interesting day only because of the conversation he just had with Shiva. Rurik brushed his teeth easily and yawned as he climbed into bed and slowly fell to sleep with Sylph curled up at his side.

Shiva laid in bed awake and worried for a long time but eventually fell asleep and managed to wake up the next morning and was able to get up and quickly get ready for the day going to work quickly making sure that she was informed when Syrma was up so she could help her as well. She hoped that she got to talk to Rurik and apologize before he was really upset with her

Rurik yawned loudly as he woke up and rubbed his eyes tiredly. "Good morning Sylph." he said and gently pet Sylph who was stretching happily. "Come along, let's get some breakfast." Rurik said as he got up and got dressed for the day. He had to look presentable, his parents would not accept anything less than perfection. Especially his mother. After he got dressed, Rurik fixed his hair and motioned at Sylph to follow him down to the kitchen.
