Syrma helped Shiva until it was time for breakfast then left to go eat easily while Shiva continued to work. She kept her eye out though for when breakfast was over so she could go and talk to Rurik hoping he wasn't still upset.

Rurik and Sylph both walked into the kitchen where Jamil was working on cleaning the kitchen. "Good morning Jamil." Rurik said as he grabbed some food and placed it in a bowl for Sylph to eat. "Good morning my lord. Good morning Sylph." Jamil replied and continued cleaning the kitchen while Rurik left to the dining room where he took his seat and began to eat his breakfast. The king and queen soon after entered the dining room and took their seats. "Rurik you look very nice, trying to impress someone?" asked Atros before taking a bite of his food. Rurik smirked and sipped his water. "Sure, I suppose you could say that." he replied easily.

Syrma soon came in as well after cleaning up and smiled softly to the three. "Good morning" she said softly as she took her seat and looked up for a second when Mel came in before looking to the food when it was served.

Rurik hadn't seen Shiva yet, and she wasn't in the kitchen either so she was obviously busy working somewhere else. When Meleanie walked in, Irsa smiled. "Good morning Mel. How are your friends doing? I'm sure you still talk to them right?" she asked. This was proof that there was going to be a lot of talking going on again, which he didn't mind. He actually liked listening to all the conversing.

"Oh yes they arived home safely and are all very well." Mel explained with a smile before starting to eat breakfast as well.

Syrma listened and smiled as Mel spoke of her friends and thought about how nice it would be to have so many friends like Meleanie did then thought some about Shiva, Ivy and Sylph and how close she was to them and hoped that she could become close with Rurik and Mel as well.

"That's nice to hear. You probably miss them, but they are always welcomed here. I think they're very nice people." Irsa commented. Rurik looked at his mother then at his sister before looking down at his food and continued to eat it until he finished. If her friends ever did come back, was she going to make him talk to them? He then remembered the one girl that blushed when he walked up to the group, but he didn't remember her name. He didn't even think anything of it then, but now he was wondering why she had blushed at all.

"Rurik are you okay? You're being very quiet this morning?" mel asked softly seeing that he seemed deep in thought and wondered what it was about, he had seemed very quie more recently too, was he growing ill?

When his sister spoke, Rurik snapped out of his thoughts and looked at her. "Do I not look okay to you?" he asked calmly. "I am perfectly fine. Besides, I have nothing to talk about anyway. So carry on with your conversations, don't mind me." Rurik replied. He was proud of himself without lashing out and wondered if he looked off to his sister. Did he look paler than usual? Were his eyes getting darker? This worried him and he quickly excused himself and left to his room where he looked in his mirror and let out a sigh of relief. He looked perfectly fine.

"well... yes I suppose you look fine you just seem distracted and being very quiet." mel explained then watched him leave andd felt a bit more worry but just went back to eating. Shiva noticed Rurik leaving the dining room and after a few minutes went to his room and knocked softly hoping he wouldn't mind her speaking with him this early.

"Meleanie worries too much." Rurik muttered to himself and ran a hand through his hair as he opened the door to see Shiva standing there. "Yes? What is it now Shiva? Aren't you supposed to be cleaning or something?" he asked. He was surprised to finally see her, but it was odd that she came to him so early today.

"G-good morning master... I... just wanted to appologize for yesterday... I.... I didn't mean to upset you... s-so please... please don't get rid of me" Shiva said first calmly but then felt like she was going to start crying since she feared that she had really upset him that badly and just didn't want to die.

Rurik listened and couldn't help but laugh at how scared she seemed to be. "My goodness you are a funny little one you know Shiva!" he said and ruffled her hair with his hand. "I'm not going to be rid of you Shiva. I could never do such a thing to you! If you leave who will I talk to? Not my sister that's for sure." he said and pulled her into his room and hugged her. "No, you are not leaving this house ever." he started and looked at her with a serious look on his face. "The only way you're leaving this house is well...you know...dead. But I would never kill you no, would I?" he commented and smirked.

Shiva relaxed and gave a bit of a purr when he hugged her and she nuzzled him a little. "Y-you scared me... last night.... I thought... that I had done something really wrong without meaning to" she explained still seeming a bit nervous and shaken but not as bad as before.

"Good, that is very good Shiva I'm glad" he said and let her gently. "I'm curious though. If I was mad at you right now what would you do to cheer me up again?" Rurik asked and narrowed his eyes. This seemed like fun, he had to admit to himself that she looked adorable when she was scared.

Shiva went a little pale and thought some seeming a bit nervous again. "I... I don't know... b-but I would do anything to make you happy again Master! Anything. I always want you to be happy... I don't like it when you're not." Shiva explained softly worrying a little that that meant that he was mad at her and hoped that he wasn't

This answer made Rurik smirk and look her dead in the eyes. "Well good, that makes me very happy to hear you know." he started and pet her gently. "I have one favor to ask of you Shiva. I'd like to really be friends with you, if you'd like. I hope we can actually be friends for more than a week if it's possible." Rurik explained.

"I would love that Master, I would love to be your friend... but... other then being nice to each other, talking and spending time together... I don't really know what friends do.... Miss Syrma was really my only friend... and I would like to think that Jamil is my friend to... we talk quite often while we work and when we're on breaks... s-so I hope we can spend time together and talk more... I really like spending time with you and talking to you" Shiva explained then smiled easily and sweetly clearly loving talking to him and being around him

"Well Shiva I will be honest. I have no idea what friends do, I'm not good with friends by I'm sure we will figure this all out eventually. Of course Jamil is your friend, he's a very good guy and hard worker. You could probably as him what it is friends do, I'm sure he might know." Rurik explained and smiled slightly.

"I'll talk with him the next chance I get then so I can tell you." Shiva smiled easily. "Um... is there anything you need before I go back to work?" she asked softly still smiling a bit.

"Yes, please do because I really want to know." Rurik admitted and fixed his hair some more. "No Shiva, I don't need anything at the moment. I might go out for a walk later today, if you're not busy by then maybe you'd like to join me? Who knows, I might get you a little something for putting up with me." Rurik hinted.

"I would love to go with you Master, I'll look forward to it." Shiva smiled happily before going off back to work meeting up with Syrma again and helping her easily feeling rather excited about going out and walking with Rurik, she just loved spending time with him whenever she could

"Of course you look forward to it, as would any other girl" he said to himself once she was gone. He was starting to feel somewhat dizzy though and left downstairs to the kitchen for a glass of water. Sylph had finished eating by then and Jamil was busy cleaning Sylph's food bowl when Rurik arrived. "Hello my lord. Is there anything I can help you with?" Jamil asked. "A glass of water please I'm feeling dizzy." Rurik replied. This worried Jamil but he easily grabbed a glass and filled it with ice cold water and handed it to Rurik. "If you don't mind my asking, are you I'll my lord?" he asked. Rurik took a sip of his water and shrugged. "I don't feel ill Jamil. Still, I might be getting ill yes." Rurik replied softly.

A few weeks had passed since Syrma had been revealed and Shiva continued to work with her old mistress by her side and spending time with both her and her master in hopes of forging a closer friendship. Word of war had been spreading like wild fire and it didn't seem anyone that came into the kingdom was aloud without scrutiny. Even Meleanie had her friends wait until the whole thing was settled before they could come back fearing that they might be seen as spies or something. Syrma barely left the castle at all now since every time she did, even when with the prince, there was always quite a commotion

Today Shiva and Syrma were cleaning around the house when a visitor came and asked about Rurik so Shiva quickly went to find him. "Master you have a visitor" Shiva said softly when she found where he was and waited easily

Rurik was grooming Sylph with Jamil's help when Shiva came to him and mentioned a visitor. Under the current situation about war on the horizon, Rurik wasn't really looking forward to seeing who the visitor was. "A visitor.... Interesting. Jamil, you're in charge of Sylph again." he said and walked over to Shiva. "Alright let's go see who that visitor is." Rurik said and headed downstairs with Shiva.

It's not anyone I've seen come to visit you before... but i think he has been here before." Shiva explained before leading Rurik to where the male was. He gave a bow as he saw Rurik and smiled a little. "Good afternoon my lord, my name is Cain Chiles, I'm from the Darkens kingdom to the south and have come on behalf of king Nero to speak with you." he introduce politely.
