"Personal servant, not slave. Get it right you old man!" Rurik hissed. "You can go ahead and hurt me all you want, I am not going to tell you more than what I already have!" he said and crossed his arms across his chest. He wasn't one to just give in so easily, just like the rest of his family. They were fighters to the very end.

"Huh sounds like the same thing to me... I mean, she calls you master, willingly gives you blood, and tries to act as your little guard dog, I don't know many slaves or servants that would so willing give up their lives for their masters though... you must have some relationship with her." Sain smirked before snapping his fingers and suddenly a loud cracking sound could be heard and Shiva screamed in horror and pain but it quickly turned into little whimpering and gurgling sobs. "Now then, let me ask you how many are in your military and how many are in your castle?" he asked seeming not to even hear the sounds of Shiva sniveling in pain.

Rurik frowned when he heard Shiva scream in pain. "Leave her alone! You said you were going to hurt me!" Rurik yelled and narrowed his eyes before quickly wrapping his hand around the general's neck. "You will stop hurting her if you don't want me to dig my nails into your neck. I do not care if it kills me. I will not let you hurt her! Do you understand?!" Rurik hissed as he tightened his grip around the general's neck. "I do have quite the reputation of being cold hearted, and I enjoy living up to my reputation." he warned.

Sain was shocked at this but just sneered and quickly pulled out his wings letting just enough of his powers out that it would seriously hurt Rurik but not kill him. He then shoved him harshly to get him away from his neck and glared at him darkly

Rurik hissed when the general pulled out his wings. When Rurik was shoved away, he fell to the floor but got back up even though Rurik was already getting weak from just being exposed to the wings. "See that isn't very fair, but nothing ever is. So go ahead, do with me what you will and I will do with you what I will." he said and smirked. He wasn't going to drink the man's blood, that would be suicide. But he was going to keep him busy just so that he wouldn't hurt Shiva again.

Sain laughed a bit before pulling out a spray bottle. "I'm sure you can guess what's in this, now answer my questions or else those little burns won't be the only ones you have" he said darkly with a dark glint in his eyes

"Holy water? You think a bit of blessed water is going to stop me from tearing you to shreds?" Rurik asked and laughed. "Well you are wrong Sir. You can go ahead and shoot some water at me it's fine. I don't care to have burn marks all over my body, go ahead. Aim and fire, chances are you might miss." Rurik replied easily.

"You're a little too cocky" Sain sneered again before using the hard spray function to douse Rurik with some of the holy water making sure he didn't miss

The feeling of that holy water was a feeling that Rurik would never forget. Not only because of the burn marks it would leave, but the fact that his screams of pain could probably be heard by anyone in the building. He lay on the floor curled up after that, "I am not...t-telling you anything!" he hissed. Rurik did nothing as the days passed, he refused to feed and only accepted plain water when it was brought to him.

About a week and a half had passed since then and Atros had arrived along with his army and Kaji at his side. "This is it. We have to be very careful, you never know what angels will do to get what they want." Atros explained and shook his head. "And they say we are heartless. If they want to see heartless, we will show them heartless." he said and looked over at Kaji. "Is there a safe way to get inside?" he asked.

Shiva's health steadily deteriorated over the next week and a half to the point where she couldn't even awaken any more even when pain was inflicted to her defenseless body.

Kaji nodded some to his friend quietly as he surveyed the area. "We have all the mages and warlocks we could sspare come with us to put up protective buarriors but we still have to hurry" he explained softly waiting for the best moment to move

Rurik's eyes were as dark red as they could possibly be, he desperately needed blood but he still refused to drink any since he didn't want to kill anyone. He occasionally would slam his fists on the cell door and hiss angrily, obviously upset that he wasn't feeding anymore.

Atros listened and nodded. "I see. Then let us not waste any time!" he ordered and looked at his men. "When we get inside, I want both Rurik and Shiva out here alive! Kill anyone who gets in your way of doing that!" Atros ordered and looked over at Kaji as his men cheered and prepared for battle. "My men are ready, when do you suggest we strike?" he said quietly.

"It seems like this is of good of time as any, we may have to be careful though, we brought blood for the prince but we must get him out first if he's as bad as some of the other angel captives... in that case we can't allow him to see Shiva until after he drinks a few packs of blood... that's assuming they've kept her alive as well" Kaji frowned worriedly as they started to move in everyone on guard and killing any angels in sight

"Of course. Be very careful if you find him, we don't want him attacking you or even killing you. We have to make sure he drinks the blood before he sees everyone." Atros explained as he pierced an angel with his spear while continuing to move in on the place. He hoped both of them were still alive, they had to be alive. They wouldn't give up so easily would they?

Shiva let out a bit of a whimper as she heard a comotion but stayed passed out cold. "YOUR HIGHNESS! We found one of them! But she looks quite ill" one of the men called over the fighting as he found Shiva's cell then went a ways down and found Rurik "WE FOUND THE PRINCE! Hurry! He's down here!" called another male but waited for someone with blood to show up

Rurik heard someone outside his door and slammed his fist against the door and hissed angrily at the male. He wasn't thinking straight, he just wanted blood and he didn't care how he got it anymore. Atros was relieved when he heard that both Shiva and Rurik had been found. Killing more angels, he ordered a soilder to take the blood over to Rurik. "Be very careful however!" he warned. The soilder nodded and ran off to where Rurik's cell was while carrying the bags of blood in his hands. When he got there, he was frightened by what he saw but carefully dropped the blood bags into Rurik's room and waited. Rurik looked at the bags of blood and desperately drank both of them before staring at the two males outside his door who after seeing him finish, decided to open the door for him. Rurik easily walked out of his cell and quickly started to look for Shiva, pushing away anyone he saw.

"Wait my lord please!"One of the men said trying to stop Rurik not knowing that another soldier was opening Shiva's cell and was going to make sure that she was okay since she didn't look like she was moving but he could see that she was breathing, just heavily and like she was having eminence difficulties.

Rurik spotted Shiva on the floor of her cell and panicked. He quickly was at her side and held her closely in his arms, hissing if anyone got close. "Not again, you are not taking her from me again...!" he whispered and sank his teeth into her neck as he began to feed off of her, not knowing that he could kill her if he didn't control himself.

the soldiers were shocked at this but figured that since she didn't have any wounds she would be okay to loose a little blood.... besides she was used to it right? But once they thought he had had enough they tried to get him away from her unsure if they would be able to pull him off or not. "Your highness I think you should hurry this way!" One of the men said to Atros before leading him to where they had found Shiva unsure of exactly how to handle Rurik when he was like this

Rurik continued to feed off of Shiva even though men were trying to pull him away. Atros quickly went over to the cell where everyone seemed to have gathered and widened his eyes at what he saw. "Rurik! Rurik let go of her!" he ordered while running into the room and trying to separate him from Shiva. "I need someone to hold her while I pull him away." Atros instructed. A male walked in and held Shiva while Atros pulled Rurik and managed to separate the two. "Rurik that's enough!" he hissed when Rurik tried to pull away. It was then that Rurik really did look at the situation and frowned. "Shiva?" he called, but when she didn't answer he couldn't help but blame himself. "I did this to her didn't I? I drank too much didn't I?" he cried and honestly wanted to hold her but his father wasn't letting him go. "This is all my fault, she got hurt because of me..." he added as he looked at Shiva's fragile body.

Shiva gave a little whimper like sound when Rurik was pulled away and she could feel something being wrapped around her neck but didn't wake up still. "No my young lord she was already like this when we found her, we just couldn't have you taking anymore of her blood then that, she'll be fine though, so let's get you both out of here. Lithil explained calmly as she watched the guard that was holding Shiva take her off to get her looked at by one of the medics they had brought with them while they waited to leave. "We should probably hurry and get out of here I don't know how much longer the shields will hold." Kaji explained softly to Atros also worrying that reinforcements might be coming.

Rurik was still thirsty but there was no blood to drink at the moment. Atros nodded and ordered the men to start heading back. "We got what we came for. The war isn't over yet but for now, we need to get these two back home safely." Atros said and got on his horse and had Rurik ride with him while Shiva rode with another soilder. Rurik looked around for Shiva but gave up when he didn't see her right away. While they rode back home, Atros and everyone else kept their eyes open in case enemy reinforcements showed up.

Once they were back at the castle healers were ordered to look over the two and patch them up. Shiva had several broken bones but that was about it other then a bit of blood loss from Rurik biting her, but she still wouldn't wake up. "Your highness.... we've checked over them both and everything seems to be fine the prince is being given blood and Shiva has had her bones reset and is being watched but... she hasn't awoken since you got back, hasn't even seemed to try... we can't find any physical reason that she's not waking up though... maybe the prince might now, could you ask him please?" the nurse informed worriedly since it was very strange that Shiva didn't wake up at all... of course they didn't reaalize without being close to anyone for so long her body was completely drained of all of its energy, right now all she needed was constant attention, or at least someone there holding her hand and just trying to gently wake her up.

Atros nodded and left to tell Rurik who was drinking blood bag after blood bag in the living room where Irsa was making sure he was comfortable. "Rurik, the nurse is asking for you. She thinks you might know what is wrong with Shiva since she still hasn't woken up." he explained. Rurik nodded and continued to drink the blood and left to check on Shiva. When he got there, he walked into her room and looked at her. "Hello Shiva." he started and gently pet her. Rurik knew she needed the attention, it had been a very long time since he last gave her any attention. "You need to get up, both Jamil and Syrma are waiting to see you. It isn't nice to keep your friends waiting." Rurik said softly.

Shiva gave a little whimper and twitch when she heard Rurik and leaned her head into his hand when she felt him rubbing her head but didn't seem to be able to understand what he was saying... or it might just be more like she just couldn't wake up or respond due to how weak she was. The nurse was surprised at this since Shiva hadn't even moved when they set her leg or her arm or when they put them into casts. Syrma was desperately wanting to see Shiva but kept being told that both her and the prince needed their rest and didn't need to be disturbed right now so the only ones that were allowed to bother them right now were the king, queen and Mel who just looked in on them since she didn't want to disturb either of them

"I know you won't wake up right away and that's fine. You will wake up eventually, and when you do everyone will be happy." Rurik said and sighed softly once he had finished the blood bag. "I need more blood now, but I will be right back so don't go anywhere." he said and quickly left and grabbed more blood bags then left back to where Shiva was. "You know, all of this is my fault. I should have known better than to leave the day we did, especially since I knew it was dangerous. I wasn't even able to get you a gift." Rurik said softly.
