Rurik continued to eat his dinner for a bit before stopping to eat. "Sylph is my pet Gryphon. He is a good boy, doesn't attack anyone unless I allow him. He is mostly just playful though so I try to play with him as much as I can." he replied and shrugged at what Triva said. "Well yes, I suppose so." he said and finished up his dinner in silence. He may seem laid back, but that vanished if you upset him in any way. He wasn't going to tell them that though, it diem concern them.

"Very interesting" Triva smirked some before she was soon finished as well. "Well I'm sure you must be tired, shall we call it a night?" Harem offered politely when he saw that everyone was finished eating.

Rurik nodded and stood up. "Goodnight to all of you, and thank you for the delicious dinner." he said and bowed before heading off towards his room. It felt like a prison here to him since he had to be nice to everyone. He didn't have a problem with it yet, but what if someone here upset him? Was he going to have to act as if nothing happened? "I can't do that..." he said to himself once he had entered his room and closed the door behind him.

Shiva bowed and bid the family good night before fallowing Rurik and knocked softly when she got to their rooms, he really should feed before he went to bed, she didn't want him going into a blood lust after all.

Rurik was getting dressed when he heard a knock on his door. He quickly finished getting dressed and opened the door. When he saw it was Shiva, he let out a sigh of relief and pulled her into his room before closing the door. "I thought it was going to be one of the other girls. Glad to know I was wrong." he said with a smile.

Shiva smiled a little at Rurik once he opened the door and hid her blush at him saying that he was glad that it was her. "I hope I didn't disturb you Master, I wanted to make sure you fed tonight so you don't go into a blood lust tomorrow." she explained softly since she knew with him still recovering he would go into a blood lust allot faster then normal

Rurik smirked at this and decided to tease her a bit. "Really? Or did you want me to feed off of you because you have started to enjoy it?" he asked and chuckled. "A bloodlust here would not be a good idea no." he agreed quietly and pet her softly.

Shiva blushed darkly at this comment and had no response... she couldn't lie to him... but had he really noticed? This thought seemed to embarrass her even more and him petting her right after saying such a thing didn't really help her at all.

Seeing her dark blush only made him blush softly too. "You...you do enjoy it don't you. You're being serious right?" Rurik asked and stopped petting her. He was surprised that she enjoyed this, no wonder she didn't mind it anymore. It probably wasn't even a good punishment for her anymore.

"K-kinda... b-but only when you try not to hurt me... I've gotten used to it... but I really hate when you have a blood lust... it hurts really bad... and when you're mad you bite really hard too." Shiva explained meekly but was still blushing and looking away "I-it's just nice... how close you are.... l-like I get.... a free hug when you feed." she blushed a bit more but that would make sense since she did love hugs and being close to others.

Rurik smiled and hugged her softly. "If you want a hug all you have to do is ask." he said and brushed some hair away from her neck. "If yo are afraid of anyone seeing us hug then we can just hug behind closed doors." he said before sinking his fangs into her neck and starting to feed, all while holding her close to him.

Shiva seemed to blush even more at this but closed her eyes and relaxed as she was hugged close then felt him biting her. She gently wrapped her arms around him and couldn't help but feel sad. Once he was married... he wouldn't feed from her anymore would he? He wouldn't spend as much time with her would he? He would be busy with his wife... he wouldn't just throw her away once he had a wife would he? She hoped not but she didn't let it stress her right now... she didn't want him to feel her worry.

Rurik continued to feed and blushed softly when he felt her arms wrap around him. Even when he was married, he was going to keep her close. There was no way he was going to allow them to be separated again, no one was going to take her from him anymore. He didn't want anyone else's blood but hers anyway, he doubted he would like any one else's blood. When he was done, Rurik pulled away but continued to hug her gently.

Shiva relaxed a bit more when he let go but suddenly had such a saddening feeling. She continued to hug him but actually put her face in his chest and actually frowned once her face was hidden. "M-Master.... I... I don't want you to get married to someone else... the thought makes my heart hurt... I... I want to stay close to you... I love being close to you." She said trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to come to her eyes and spill over. She knew the last time she made the comment that she didn't want him to marry he got mad but she couldn't hold it inside anymore, she just had to let him know how she felt.

Rurik licked the blood off his lips as he listened to Shiva speak and frowned slightly. "Shiva..." he started and buried his face on top of her head, listening to her fight the tears. He stood there holding her in silence as it got darker out and he was pretty sure that everyone else was sleeping by now. Pulling away, he got on his knees and wiped away her tears gently before taking her hands into his. "You aren't going to lose me when I get married Shiva. I know you don't want me to get married, I don't either but I have to. My parents are looking forward to it." he whispered softly as he looked into her eyes and smiled sadly. "Why does your heart hurt?" Rurik asked curiously.

Shiva looked at Rurik softly then looked away as she frowned a bit and the dark blush came back. "B-because... I... i-it's hard to explain b-but I... I... don't like the thought of you marrying someone else... I... don't want to share you..." she tried to explain her cheeks just seeming to get darker and darker red with each word but by the end she was barely speaking above a whisper since she knew what she was feeling was wrong... she was his slave... who was she to say that she wanted him all to herself?

Rurik smiled softly and pulled her into his arms, hugging her gently."Well I don't want to share you either. That is why you're always going to be right by my side. You're not going to leave my side right?" he asked and pet her softly. "No matter what happens Shiva, I'll always be here to spend time with you. We will still go on walks and spend time together, nothing is going to change, I promise. What kind of master would I be if I just left you alone after getting married right?" he explained.

Shiva smiled some but it slowly disappeared before shaking her head some. "N-no Master I... I'm not sure how to explain it... but... you know I'm really close with Miss Syrma... and she says that she thinks of me as family... and the way she told me... well that's how I feel about her too.... b-but... I feel... even closer to you... I... don't like seeing you with other girls... I don't know why but it really upsets me... Miss Syrma said that's called jealousy... but I've never felt it before... and i don't like it... but... I don't like seeing other girls around you even more..." she explained wondering if he would finally understand what she was getting at... she didn't want him to be with anyone else... because she wanted him to be with her and while she didn't quite understand the concept of family or love quite like most people she knew that she felt even closer and more attached to him then anyone else she had ever met.

"Well Syrma is right, that is jealousy. Jealousy usually is born when you love someone and don't enjoy seeing that person enjoying someone else's company. Even if it's just a friend, you don't like to share that person." Rurik explained and smiled. "That seems to fit you very perfectly Shiva." he said and blushed when he said that. This meant that Shiva quite possibly loved him, and that only made getting married to someone else even harder.

Shiva looked at Rurik as she listened to him then blushed softly but still frowned a little. She knew what love was of course... she just didn't know that that was what she was feeling. But Rurik didn't seem mad or upset like she thought he would... what did that mean? All she knew was that she wanted to stay as close to him as possible and really didn't want him to get married... she just didn't want to share his affection with anyone else, especially another woman.

Feeding from one person is seen as intimate Rurik suddenly remembered that and he also remembered that Shiva now liked it when he bit her, it all was coming together and he didn't know what to do or think. He still needed to get married, but now he had a servant who loved him and that was reason enough for her to hate that he was getting married. For now all he could do was try to cheer her up, but how.

"I... I'm sorry master... I... I shouldn't have said anything... p-please... forgive me uhm.... I... I think I should go to bed now." Shiva said suddenly turning a bit pale as she realized the huge like that she had just crossed and felt horrible. For all she knew he just liked her as a friend or even just a pet... who was she to make such bold declarations? She quickly turned and started to make her way to the door her ears pulled back and down a bit as was her tail. How foolish could she be? Thinking that he could feel the same or understand how she felt?

Rurik pet her but nodded. "Yeah, we both need our sleep. Busy day tomorrow I'm sure." he said and watched her leave, frowning. "Goodnight, sleep well..." He said softly, but she was already gone. Rurik only closed the door quietly and let out a soft sigh and wished that there was someone he could talk to about this, but he had no one. Rubbing his forehead, Rurik climbed into bed and lay under the warm blanket as he slowly fell to sleep.

"What have I done? How stupid could I be? But... he didn't seem upset... maybe he's just hiding it until we get home... I just.... hope he doesn't decide to get rid of me because of this." Shiva said to herself tears falling down her face after she had made it to her room and shut the door. She moved to get ready for bed and just laid down hugging the bunny that Rurik gave her and whimpered a little letting the tears fall. She just felt so stupid now... for telling him something that could end up making him want to get rid of her.

Rurik seemed to be sleeping perfectly until he bolted up wide awake in the middle of the night. "Stupid..nightmare!" he hissed and done led the tears from his eyes. Quickly but quietly, he walked into his bathroom and decided to take a quick shower hoping it would help. Even if it didn't, at least he wouldn't be sweaty in the morning. When he was done with his shower, Rurik carefully dried off and carefully scratched his scars before getting dressed in some clothes before just staring at himself in the mirror and fixing his hair.
