"Yes of course master" Shiva smiled happily before going over and fixing Sylph's food before gently petting him.

Waiting near the door was a black haired woman that looked to be in her 20s with pale skin and aqua eyes. She smiled and gave a bow when she saw the prince before straightening again. "Good afternoon your highness, I am sorry to have disturbed you but I have some... rather important information that I am sure you would rather hear before your parents, may we speak in private?" she said before stopping herself and covered her mouth a little. "Oh do forgive me! How rude of me, my name is Lithil I am one of the commanders in charge of monitoring the angels activities in, near and around this kingdom." she said softly before bowing again slightly.

Sylph cried out happily when he was brought some food and cooed softly as he was being pet, eating happily.

Rurik wasn't sure why this person was here, but he figured he'd hear her out anyway. "Alright then, follow me please." he said and led her to the parlor room where he motioned for her to take a see and sat down himself. "What is it you'd like to tell me miss Lithil." he asked and ordered for some tea to be brought over right away. A servant easily left and brought back some tea, carefully pouring it into two teacups for them. "You may retreat now." Rurik said and turned his attention back to Lithil. "I must say, I'm surprised you want to talk to me first rather than talking to my parents first." he explained.

"Well... I had heard that you recently aquired a new batch of slaves from a shop a town over, my group had found that a few people in that town were actually angel spies and one of them had given up their prized angel fox pet. I fear that she may also be a spy from the angels and since she is no longer in that town I worried she might be here. We do not have definitive proof that she is or is not a spy, the spies that we found said that she was just a simple slave who fed off the emotions and affections of others but we were still worried. If you do have this slave may we monitor her just to make sure? We really wouldn't you and your parents to end up hurt." Lithil explained softly between sips of tea and hoped that Rurik understood that her group was just trying to look after his and his families safety and well being.

Rurik finished his tea and narrowed his eyes. He honestly couldn't believe what she was saying, part of him wanted to laugh and the other wanted to yell at her but he remained calm. Yelling wouldn't help anyway, so he had no choice but remain calm and find out why she wanted to do this really. "You come into my home to tell me that you think I have angel spies in my home?" he asked and crossed his arms across his chest. "If I do allow you to monitor, you won't lay a hand on them or hurt them will you?" he asked. "Also, who told you I had purchased servants? Don't you find it a little rude to be snooping into other people's business?" he pointed out.

"But sir I work for you and your parents, ever since threats of war have came up we've had to tighten security. And it's not all of your slaves, just one, she's a kitsune shifter, very white-ish-blue hair, supposedly has a fox kit with her. I wouldn't hurt them but wouldn't you like to make sure that you don't have a spy in your house?" Lithil offered a bit worriedly. "if you prefer I could just wait and talk to your parents if that would be better?" she offered sofftly.

"Yes yes, Imbra. You're talking about Shiva, you think she's a spy?" he asked and smirked. "My parents don't need to know about this, she's my personal servant so if it's about her then I make the decisions." Rurik explained and looked at his empty tea cup. "Alright then, better to be safe than sorry. Would you like me to bring her down here for you to see?" he asked her politely.

"Your personal servant? if it is okay I would like to meet her, but just in case would you mind having her wear this for a little while? It won't harm her it'll just check her magic levels and such, see if she could really be the spy." Lithil explained as she pulled out what looked to be an arm band but was actually a device to record her physical readings for awhile.

"Yes, just give me a moment." Rurik said and took the arm band before heading up to his room and knocking on the door then opened it. "Shiva?" he said and looked at here. "I need you to come with me, but first put this on. Don't worry it's not going to hurt you in any way." he assured and motioned at her to follow him back to the parlor room where Lithil was waiting for them. "Here she is, and yes she's my personal servant." Rurik explained softly.

Shiva looked up from where she had been playing with Rurik's gryphon and did as she was told easily before fallowing him and gave a smile to the woman giving a bow. "Good afternoon" she smiled before looking to Rurik to see what it is he needed. Lithil slowly stood and walked over to Shiva fixing the band on her arm making her whimper a little not liking how snug it fit. Almost right away a small device in Lithil's pocket beeped and she pulled it out before looking to Rurik and gave a slight sigh and nod showing that Shiva was at least part angel, or some type of angelic creature at least.

Rurik narrowed his eyes when Lithin nodded. "I'm sorry but this is stupid. What do you expect me to do? Kick her out? Kill her?" he asked. "Shiva hasn't done anything to lose my trust, and even if she is part angel, as long as she does what I say I really have no problem letting her stay here as my servant." he said and gently placed a hand on Shiva's shoulder.

"But sir... just because she acts the way she does doesn't mean that she's... safe or trust worthy, have you even met her previous owners? I think you should at least check to make sure that she's not.... well you know." Lithil said softly with a frown as she watched Shiva shiver a bit and looked up at Rurik "M-master? H-have I done something wrong?" she asked worriedly.

"Shiva is not a damned spy!" Rurik hissed. "Even if she was, she's behaving properly so I have no problem with her being here, do you not understand that?" he asked and looked at Shiva. "No you haven't done anything wrong, don't worry." Rurik said and looked at Lithil. "I'm getting my parents, this is really stupid. Shiva wait here but don't let this lady get near you, that's an order." he said seriously and stormed out to look for his parents. His father was in the Study and his mother out in the garden. "Father, I really need you and mother to come to the parlor room right away, there is something you need to hear." Rurik said. "Alright, we'll be right over." Atros replied and watched Rurik leave, then headed outside. "Irsa, Rurik requests our presence in the parlor room. It seems to be an urgent matter." he explained. Irsa quickly dusted herself off and walked with her husband over to the parlor room where they saw Lithil. "Alright, what is it?" Irsa asked.

Shiva watched Rurik before looking at the woman worriedly then looked back to Rurik and moved close to where he was not wanting to be near the woman. "Your highness', I am sorry to have caused a disturbance but with the current situation and threats of war I really believe you guys would want to know that you have an angel shifter living here. It is possible that she can be a sleeper agent, she might not even know that she's a spy but that doesn't mean she's not a threat. I can even prove that she's an angel shifter." Lithil said showing the device that didn't react to anyone but Shiva. "This device detects the powers that rolls off of an angel even if they can't be sensed." she explained softly.

"Alright, well what do you suggest we do then?" Atros asked easily. Rurik hissed slightly, obviously not liking this one bit and looked at Shiva who obviously looked frightened. All Rurik could do though was pet her head gently, trying to get her to relax while they sorted this whole thing out. "I will say she did look different when she was first brought here, but so far she's been a delight to have. She's honestly one of the hardest workers we have here. Sure at fist she caused some problems but it was nothing that couldn't be fixed easily." Irsa explained.

"I think she should wear a monitor and that me and the other guards should be aloud to check on her from time to time. Would that be okay? I just worry about you guys and the kingdom of course." the woman said softly hoping she wasn't crossing a line or anything

"No it's not alright." muttered Rurik. "Deary stop it. I think there's no harm done in doing this. If that's all you want to do, then I suppose it's fine." Irsa said softly. "Fine, but I'm to be present when this is taking place." Rurik commented. "Well alright then I suppose this issue has been settled?" asked Atros.

Shiva looked at Rurik worriedly before looking at lilith who bowed before looking to her with a frown. "If you are working for the angels you better say something soon or I'm sure the king and queen will not be so kind to you." she said before checking the band then bowed and left. Shiva looked back at Rurik with a little worried whimper. "I-I'm not in trouble or anything am I?" she asked worriedly.

Rurik sighed softly when Lithil left and then turned his attention back to Shiva. "I sure hope you're not." he said and looked at the band on her wrist. "Cheer up Rurik. This is just a safety measure.We will all continue living our lives normally okay, don't worry about it." Irsa said and kissed Rurik's cheek. "Your mother is right, no one should be worrying right now. They don't have any proof that she's a danger to us so we really don't have anything to worry about." Atros explained. "I know...I know." Rurik said and was actually worried to find out the results. Shiva didn't look like a spy, there was nothing about that in her information papers. "Come along dear, we need to make sure Dinner is being worked on." Irsa said and led her husband out of the room. "They think you're a spy for the angels, that's why they're doing all this. You shouldn't worry though because they're not going to hurt you. If it turns out that you are a spy, I'll be the one hurting you...or my parents will." Rurik explained and shook his head. "No need to worry about it though, just go back to cleaning. We'll see what happens tomorrow." he said softly.

"B-but I'm not a spy." Shiva said softly before nodding and bowed a bit before heading back to work hoping this would all just blow over before too long.

A couple months later, Rurik had been spending all his time with Sylph. He would only check in on Shiva to make sure she was working. His parents had thrown various parties in the last month for obvious reasons but Rurik didn't mind it much. He didn't like parties but they weren't terrible either, they were actually pretty fun since Sylph kept him company the entire time.

The following morning, Rurik ordered a servant to feed Sylph while others worked on breakfast. He took this time to go check up on Shiva. There really wasn't much to clean so he thought maybe he'd spend some time with her, give her attention that she obviously craved and needed.

Shiva had continued to work hard for Rurik and his parents even though his parents almost seemed suspicious of her since that woman had first shown up. Today she was cleaning the various vases and pictures near the front doors making each and every one of them shine in the morning light. She was always very careful not to damage anything but when a servant went rushing by her and knocked into her she was unable to catch the vase as it crashed to the ground and shattered into pieces. "Oh no!" she gasped before trying to clean up the mess and see if the vase could be fixed but several of the pieces had been scratched and marred on the outside so they wouldn't look near as nice when glued back together.

Rurik was heading over to check on Shiva when he heard the crashing sound. Quickly he ran over to the source and saw that a vase had broken and Shiva was trying to fix it. "Oh Shiva what did you do?!" Rurik hissed and looked down at the shattered pieces of what once was a lovely vase. "Are you blind? Did you not see that vase there?!" he asked angrily. "You really need to pay more attention and be careful Shiva!" Rurik hissed. "That vase was a gift you know, and now it's gone." Rurik said softly before letting out a soft sigh. "If mother finds out she'll have your head you know. But since I found out, I get to punish you which is good because I'm quite thirsty anyway." he said and smirked. "Well no point in just staring. Clean it up Shiva, carefully. I'll see how I explain this to mother. I'll have to find a replacement for it." Rurik said worriedly since he wasn't sure if they made those vases anymore.

"I-I-I'm sorry master! Someone rushed by me and bumped into me while I was cleaning it, I'm really sorry I didn't mean to I swear!" Shiva said worriedly while cleaning up the mess just hoping she wasn't in too much trouble. She really hadn't meant to break the vase and just hoped that Rurik knew that and wouldn't let his parents hurt her or something.

"Oh just shut up Shiva!" he hissed. "I should break every vase in this house and blame it on you!" he threatened and smirked. "Maybe I really should, but you wouldn't like that would you? Of course not. So I suggest you stay quiet and stop making up these excuses because they'll only make things worse for you!" Rurik said angrily. "I really should just go tell my parents and have them kill you but that won't be very fun." he said as he stopped towards her and brushed some hair away from her neck.

"N-No master" Shiva said as she finished sweeping up the vase then looked up a little surprised at his touch but stayed still having a feeling she knew what was coming but wouldn't move away... she didn't want to be in any more trouble then she was already in and just hoped that he didn't make her pass out like he had a few times when he would bite and drink from her.
