"You're going to have to come with me and help me find a replacement for that vase okay? I just hope they still have them." he explained noticed she was frightened. "Now now, don't be scared Shiva. Punishment is required. I mean, you just broke a vase." he reminded and made sure no one was around, then bit Shiva and started to feed off her. He had to keep in mind though not to drink so much that she would pass out. Then again that was probably for the best.

"Y-yes m-master I understand" Shiva said then yelped as she was bitten and went a bit limp as he bit into her neck but was able to stay steady enough that she didn't fall or put too much weight on him. She did kinda like how close he was whenever he bit her but it still rather hurt and made it very hard for her to stand and think once he let go.

Meleanie had just arrived at the palace that she used to call home what seemed like ages ago. As she got out of her carriage her servant started to unload her stuff while she started to head up the path to the large manor. Soon she reached the doors and opened them only to reveal the young woman that was being bitten by a male and didn't look too well. "Ack! What is this?! Stop that this instant! Let her go." Meleanie ordered slightly making Shiva open her eyes again looking at her in surprise but was feeling quite tired from the blood loss.

Rurik heard a female's voice and quickly pulled away from Shiva to look back at the girl who had ordered him to stop. "Who are you to tell me what to do? And who let you in? What is it you want?" Rurik asked and narrowed his eyes. "You should know better than to stick your nose in other people's business!" he hissed and looked at Shiva. "Go. Get yourself fixed up because we're leaving!" he ordered. "Go now!" he hissed and looked back at the girl. "What I do to her, is none of your business. She is my personal servant and I will treat her however I want!" he said.

Shiva let out a little whimper but quickly nodded and gave a bow to Rurik before heading to her room to stop the bleeding then get changed before she would head back down to where her master was. "I live here, I'm princess Meleanie Sinclair, who are you to be here and speak to me in such a way?" she asked then was surprised at how willingly Shiva rushed back to Rurik's side. "M-Master would you like me to call you a carriage?" she asked quietly hoping this wouldn't upset him.

Rurik ran a hand though his thick reddish brown hair and was surprised to hear who she was. "I'm Prince Rurik Sinclair. As far as I'm concerned, you do not live here because you just arrived today. If you think I'm going to hug you and welcome you back into my life as the sister I never knew I had. You're wrong, because to me you're not my sister. You're just another girl hoping to win over my affection. Well I can tell you right now that it's not going to work that way." Rurik said seriously and gently pet Shiva a bit before nodding. "Yes. I'll be out in a second." he said.

"Rurik? You're Rurik? Oh my gosh the last time I saw you you were just a baby. I'm sorry for snapping at you, I'm just not used to seeing anyone biting anyone else outside of the parlor or private quarters... wait... did you not receive my letters? I sent many letters to you, mother and father... I even sent one about a week ago saying that I was coming home." Mel explained then watched as Shiva gave a little purr at the petting before rushing off to get a carriage ready for her and Rurik.

"No, I'm actually Vincent. Of course I'm Rurik!" he hissed and rolled his pale green eyes at what she said. "Right, of course you did." he muttered and called over a servant. "You. Go inform my mother that we have an unexpected visitor and that I have gone with Shiva to run an errand. Also, tell Jamil that he is in charge of Sylph. I don't want this lady here getting near him. Tell him that, and that he has to make sure to feed Sylph and play with him, as well as let him rest." he ordered. The servant nodded and quickly left to deliver the message. Turning his attention back to Meleanie, Rurik sneered. "I am not your brother and you are not my sister." Rurik said before leaving the house and heading towards the carriage where Shiva was waiting for him.

After the servant delivered the messages, Jamil quickly left to check up on Sylph and take care of him. Irsa and Atros quickly went over to where Meleanie was waiting and smiled. "Oh my goodness you're alive!" cried out Irsa. "I told you she wasn't dead Irsa." Atros reminded and smiled at his daughter. "Where have you been? How come you haven't called or sent any letters? Are you okay?" asked Irsa.

Mel frowned sadly as she listened to Rurik then sighed sadly as she watched him leave before telling her servant where her room was and waited for her parents easily.

Shiva looked to Rurik as he came out and she opened the door for him before closing it behind him and got in on the other side. "Which store should we go to master?" she asked curiously hoping he wouldn't be too upset for long.

"Mother, father, I've missed you very much. I'm really sorry I kept sending messages but they clearly didn't make it here... so... I guess Rurik is really upset with me huh?" Mel asked softly with a sad frown.

"We need to find a vase. So we need to go to the furniture stores." he said and ordered the carriage driver to go to the best furniture store in the kingdom.

"Well yes..but that's our fault. You see, we didn't tell him about you because we felt that if we did he'd feel ill towards you. We didn't want him to think that you left because of him." Irsa started. "And I didn't want him to suffer all his childhood knowing his older sister had just left." Irsa explained. "I think Rurik is mostly upset because he grew up alone. You know how hard it is for him to keep a friend. So when we told him about Meleanie, well of course he feels bad. He wasn't supposed to be alone but he was. Don't feel bad though Mel, it's just going to take him some time to get used to it." Atros commented and sighed softly. "I must say that I'm surprised you came back, I thought that wherever you were was going to be your permanent home now." he added.

"I'll have to talk to Rurik when he returns home. Try to get him to accept his sister." Irsa said to herself and ordered that some food be brought out for Meleanie. "You must be hungry dear, please. Sit down and eat okay?" she suggested and smiled sadly.

Shiva nodded but then fell quiet wondering some about the woman that had interrupted Rurik's feeding. She bit her lip a little before finally deciding to speak. "M-master my I ask you a question?" she asked softly hoping he wouldn't mind.

"I am very sorry for leaving and staying away so long... I never meant to. I kept sending letters though... I wanted Rurik to know about me... I didn't want him to feel all alone... but they clearly didn't make it here. I even tried to send many letters and calls to you two as well.... you didn't get any of them?" she asked worriedly. She then walked with her parents over to the table to eat a bit as they spoke happy to see them again.

Rurik waited patiently for the driver to arrive at the furniture store, and when he did, Rurik stepped out to the pavement and motioned for Shiva to follow him. "A question?" he repeated and looked around at the people staring, obviously surprised to see the prince out of the palace on his own. "Very well, ask your question." he replied and ordered the carriage driver to wait for them before walking into the store with Shiva.

"Well don't worry about it now. It's in the past and Rurik will get over this soon enough. Just try to talk to him whenever you can, spend time with him. Catch up with him really." Irsa assured. "You have to be his friend first before you can be his sister sadly." explained Atros. He knew being Rurik's friend wasn't going to be an easy task.

Shiva easily opened the cariage door for Rurik then thought some. "Who was that woman? How could she be so disrespectful towards you Master?" she asked with a frown then opened the shops door for him as well giving a slight bow and gesture for him to go ahead.

"Thank you father I will certainly try. so how have you two been? I've missed you all very much" Mel smiled softly after clearing a bite from her mouth.

Smiling softly, Rurik went ahead and looked at Shiva. "That girl is my sister." he whispered to her. "In my eyes she's not though. She just left and never bothered to visit me or send me anything. Never even called." Rurik explained and sighed. "She has no right to just show up suddenly and think she can tell me what to do. I don't care if she's older." Rurik said as he looked at the vases. "Maybe I'll get a few. I'm sure mother would like a gift." he said with a smile.

"We've been alright. Worried sick about you, you know. You're mother actually worried that you were dead." Atros replied and chuckled. "Well you can't blame me dear. We also got more servants as you can probably see. Some had to be replaced you see." Irsa explained. "We were planning on getting them ourselves but your brother beat us to it, and in return we gave him a personal servant. Which I've noticed that they seem to have gotten closer." Atros explained. "You're right, but that's good. Let's see how much it lasts." Irsa commented sadly and sighed softly before looking at Meleanie. "Tell us though, you've probably seen many places. So tell us about your travels. We'd love to hear the stories." she added softly.

"Really? but... she yelled at you... and... I never knew you had a big sister..." Shiva said softly then looked around a bit and spotted some vases that looked just like the one she broke. "Master look, they look just like the other vases, will they work?" she asked softly as she went over to where the vases were.

"Again I am very sorry, I meant to come back sooner but I kept hitting detours and such." Mel explained before listening more and nodded some and paused a bit. "Really? They're close? But when I came in I saw him biting her... and yet as soon as he let go she did just what he said and he even pet her on the head... I gues it just seems a bit.... strange to me" she explained then smiled some and started telling her parents about her travels and had her servent bring the gifts that she had gotten for them setting aside the pressants she had gotten for Rurrik.

(I'm guessing his parents don't know about him feeding on Shiva yet XD)

"Yeah...well I didn't know I had one either." he said with a slight frown before gently petting her. "Don't worry Shiva, I'm not going to let her boss me around. I don't care who she is. I don't listen to anyone other than my parents of course." Rurik explained and looked over at the vase Shiva was looking at. "You're right, it looks exactly like the one that broke." he said and smiled as he looked at the price. It was very expensive indeed, but when you were rich that never mattered. "We'll take this one then, and you can get one of your choice for your room too. It will be a gift from me to you." Rurik explained softly.

"Rurik bit her?!" gasped Irsa. "That's why he hasn't bothered to go look for a feeding source. He already found it." Muttered her husband. "How long do you think he's been doing this?" asked Irsa. Atros shrugged and poured himself some wine. "I'm not sure dearest. It could have been since day one. I'm not sure why he hasn't told us." he answered and sighed softly. "At least he found a feeding source." Irsa started. "We'll have to talk to him though." she added and smiled as she and Atros began to open the gifts. "You really didn't have to get us anything. If we knew you were coming we would have gotten you something too." Irsa said and frowned slightly. "We can throw a welcome home party. A bit last minute but I'm sure our friends would be happy to see and meet our daughter." Atros explained easily.

Shiva smiled then purred a bit as he pet her before looking at him a little surprised but smiled easily. "Thank you master~" she smiled but wasn't really sure what to get... she never really had thought about decor or anything like that... if anything she preffered anything soft and fluffy "B-but I really don't know.... why don't you pick something out if you want to give me something?" she offered softly with a soft smile.

"It was rather surprising to see.... but more because it's unusual to see anyone being bitten in public or where they could be seen..." Mel explained then smiled some. "I wanted to get you each something from wherever I went. And you really don't have to worry about a party or anything, I'm just happy to be back" she smiled happily.

"Why? Well because I don't know what sort of decor you like. I'm not going to spend money on something you don't like." Rurik explained as he carefully took the vase they planned on getting in his arms. "At least give me a few pointers. Help me out so that I can get you something." Rurik explained.

"Well he was probably thirsty and didn't want to wait until they got to a more secluded spot." Atros replied. "Are you going to be leaving again soon?" asked her mother. "I mean, do you plan on leaving again to see more places?" she asked. "Or do you plan on permanently staying?" she asked softly.

"Decor?... I've... never really thought about it... but I did love my mistresses room... she had so many soft and fluffy things, she had this big fluffy bed for me with allot of stuffed animals and pillows and a really really soft cover, It was so nice." Shiva smiled happily and almost looked excited at the memories of her old bed and all the soft things that she loved to be surrounded by.

"Hm... I'm not sure..." Mel shrugged then shook her head. "No I don't plan on leaving like that again... I may take a few short trips to visit some of the friends that I have made over the years but I really want to either stay here or find somewhere close to settle down." she smiled easily hoping this would make her parents happy

"Fluffy things huh?" started Rurik as he looked around the store, looking for something fluffy. "I must admit that it does sound like you were very comfortable among all that fluffy stuff in your old room." he admitted and sighed softly. He had to give her attention but fluffy things sounded childish, then again Shiva did seem to have a childish personality...in a good way of course. "She's so...innocent." he said to himself and thought about how bland her room was compared to her old room. "If she wants fluffy she'll get fluffy." he said to himself and started to look thought the pillows and blankets, pulling out anything that was fluffy in hopes that it would meet her expectations. "Why does it feel like I'm the servant right now?" he asked himself with a slight grin and a chuckle. Once he had grabbed quite a bit of things, he went over to Shiva and presented them to her. "Is this what you're talking about?" he asked.

"I see, well that's good. It doesn't surprise me that you've made friends." started Irsa. "Are any of these friends boys?" asked Atros. "Dear! Does it matter?" asked Irsa with a chuckle. "Yes it does, we haven't mt any of her friends." he explained. "True, but even if she has a male friend, he'd have to come all the way donw here if he really cares about our little Mel you know." Irsa explained. "I know, I just hope that Mell and her friends know that too." Atros replied softly.

"M-master you really don't have to.... o-oh that's so soft!" Shiva smiled as she felt one of the covers after he picked it up and really seemed to love several of the things he grabbed. "A-are you sure I can have this stuff?" she asked seeming a bit surprised and unsure... it had been awhile since anyone had given her anything but she wasn't used to her masters actually going to get something specifically for her... not that she wasn't happy at the idea of having all this fluffy stuff

Rurik shook his head and gently pet her. "Well you've done a great job cleaning and following my orders so I think you well deserve a few things don't you think?" he explained and offered a small smile. "It's fine Shiva really. You don't need to be so shy about getting gifts. You did get gifts from your past masters correct?" Rurik asked and walked over to the cashier where he placed the items on the counter for them to pack up for him.

"Um... Kinda... i guess... but they were also for my young mistress... she loved stuff like this." she smiled easily but did seem happy and would easily help with taking the items to the carriage

"I'm sure they will come to visit later... and I did meet a few guys.... but I don't know if any of them will be any more then friends" she smiled a little sadly.

"I see, well now you can have your own fluffy stuff." Rurik said as he payed for the stuff and walked out to the carriage with her. Helping her up, he sat down across from her and ordered the driver to take them back to the palace.

"Well that's good." Atros started. "Dear! How could you say that?!" gasped Irsa, surprised to hear her husband say that. "Mel deserves someone who will treat her like the princess she is. If none of her current friends can see her that way, then they aren't worthy." he explained and gently pat Mel's shoulder. "Don't worry Mel, you'll meet someone soon enough." he assured. "Maybe if we throw a party, both Mel and Rurik will find someone don't you think?" Irsa suggested.

"Thank you master" Shiva smiled happily then realzed into the seat as she got in but then a thought came to her mind and she wondered a bit if anything would change now that his sister was back.

"W-well I wouldn't say that they're not worthy... it's more like... none of them were the types of guys I would want to marry... since I traveled with two of them for a bit they felt more like family... and the third.... well he has his own ideas of what he wants and they certainly aren't me." Mel laughed a little but then fell a little quiet and frowned some. "But... on my travels May got very ill... that's another reason I was coming home.... but... she died about a week ago..." she explained with a deep sad frown knowing that her parents would probably be concerned for more the one reason... May had been her dedicated servant, friend... and her blood source for years... now that she was gone Mel would need a new blood source pretty soon.

When they arrived back at the palace, Rurik helped Shiva off and motioned at her to be quiet and follow him back inside. "We need to go place the new vase where the old one was." he whispered as they opened up the gate and then the front door before stepping inside after making sure that both the gate and front door were looked behind them. Silently, Rurik headed over to the hall where the old vasw once was and couldn't help but hear that his sister needed a new feeding source. This of course caused him to smirk. Placing the vase in its spot he looked at Shiva. "Come now, let's go odd your things to your room." he said softly.

"Oh....dear I'm very sorry. You'll just have to do what Rurik did and find a new feeding source. For now I'll be your feeding source but try to hurry dear. Your father isn't a fan of sharing what's his." Irsa explained, trying to lighten up the mood. "Well maybe Mell can use another servant as a blood source. We both know Rurik chose his personal servant as his." Atros explained.
