Shiva stayed quiet and made sure that the tags were off the vase and that it was perfectly in the right place then nodded and went to start putting the stuff in her room and arranging it nicely trying to resist the urge to just jump on her bed and wrap herself around the pillows she just got. But with the new additions the room did look better, it looked like someone was actually staying there and making it their own instead of just visiting.

"I will certainly try... I really need to find a permanent feeding source... but what I would really like is to find... well my partner but I just don't know where to look." Mel explained with a blush.

Rurik went up to check on Sylph who was currently playing around with a small rag that Jamil was wiggling around in front of him. "Welcome back My Lord. I hope the trip was a nice one?" Jamil asked. "It was. How did Sylph behave?" Rurik asked, gently petting his Gryphon. "It was a joy to look after him. I made sure he was bathed and fed. We went out to the garden for a while and now we're here. I was waiting on him to get tired and get some sleep." Jamil explained easily.

"See, that's what you're parents are for." Atros answered. "Your father is right. Throwing a party is a great way to meet potential partners. Rurik has yet to find his but we're still hopeful. I'm sure you'll find one soon enough deary. You don't need to worry." explained Irsa. "It's not good to look for someone. You must let them come to you." Atros pointed out easily.

Shiva thanked Rurik once more before happily jumping on her bed and cuddled in the fluffiness for a few minutes before finally getting up and went to find what she needed to help with next.

Mel laughed a little with a nod in agreement before slowly standing. "Well I think I should go and get settled in again... I do hope that I get to talk and bond with Rurik and get closer to you guys too." she smiled easily.

"Well thank-you. I knedw I could count on you Jamil." Rurik said before handing Jamil some gold. "You may go work on other duties. I'll be sure to ask for your help again if I need it." he said softly. "Thank-you very much my lord."Jamil said before bowing and leaving back downstairs to clean. Rurik gently pet Sylph and continued to play with him easily. Jamil noticed Shiva and smiled. "Hello Shiva, welcome back. How was the trip?" Jamil asked as he straightened out some photos on the wall.

"Withus you'll have no problem dear. It's Rurik who you'll have trouble with." Irsa commentrd. "Good luck Mel. If you need anything you let us know." Atros assured easily. It was nice to finally have the entire family back together again.

"Hello, it was very nice actually, master got me some stuff for my room" Shiva smiled happily as she worked and noticed Meleanie coming down the hall and almost blushed at the thought of how she had first seen Shiva.... it wasn't exactly the most pleasant of meetings after all.

(I didn't know if you wanted to be Mel or not so up to you XD )

"He did? Well that was nice of him." Jamil said and glanced over at Meleanie before going back to working easily. Rurik yawned softly after he had managed to finally get Sylph to fall to sleep. Now that his sister was here he wasn't the only one anymore. That wasn't the reason he hated her though. He supposed it was normal though for siblings to hate each other so this didn't bother him.

((Well I thought you would probably have her try to talk to Rurik. I can control Mel though if you don't want to, it's fine.))

(I'm not exactly sure what to have her say to Rurik just yet XP)

"It really surprised me, I've never had any of my masters get something that was just for me before" Shiva explain with a smile before moving onto the next thing she needed to clean easily

((Well I'm giving you the freedom to do whatever you want with her. I'll take control of her in my next post if you want though.))

"You really never had them give you anything?" Jamil asked somewhat surprised. Though he never had anyone give him anything. Well the occasional bit of food when they felt like it, but that was about it.

Rurik let Sylph get some sleep and carefully sneaked out of his room. He knew dinner would be ready soon and he wondered how it would go now that his sister would be joining them.

"Well... when I was little.... I think someone either gave me, or entrusted me with Imber... and my young mistress gave me that stuffed dove." Shiva explained softly wtih a slight smile as she continued cleaning.

Mel smiled some as she spotted Rurik and hoped that he wouldn't be so cold this time. "Hello Rurik, I'm sorry that we got off on the wrong circumstances, I would really like to get to know you." she offered softly with a smile hoping he wouldn't be upset with her still.

Jamil listened while cleaning a large mirror and smiled. "Well that was nice of them." he started and glanced towards her, "See? You did get gifts before then. Not a lot but they're important to you and that's all that matters." he explained. "The only gift I've gotten was being brought in to work here, and that's really all I need." Jamil added with a smile.

When Meleanie showed up and started talking to him, Rurik had to fight the urge of just pushing her to the side. Listening to her he sighed and smirked. "See? You wouldn't have to be getting to know me if you had just stayed." he pointed out easily. The smirk left as quickly as it had come and he raised an eyebrow. "What is it you want to know?" he asked.

"I guess so, I just wish I could remember who I got Imber from." Shiva explained softly but then smiled as she continued to work easily.

"True but there were many things i was curious about and many wonderful things I got to experience on my journey's." Mel explained softly giving a little smile. "Well... honestly I want to know everything about you, what you like, what you hate, what your hobbies and dreams are, I know we just met.... well I know you just met me, but I am your big sister and I really want to know all I can about you." she explained softly with a smile.

Jamil chuckled softly and shook his head. "You shouldn't worry Shiva. I'm sure you'll remember sooner or later." he said easily. Other servants where busy setting the table perfectly while others made sure that the dinner was ready to be served. When they finished setting the table, the others came in and started to serve the dinner for the royal family. "Let's get something to eat shall we?" asked Jamil.

"That's great, I don't care." muttered Rurik as he stood there and listened to all her questions. "Everything about me?" He repeated and smirked. "I like grilled foods. I can't say I hate you, but I sure don't like you yet. I hate parties." Rurik stopped to think about the last two questions. "My hobbies? I don't think I have any. My dreams? Well last night I dreamt that I killed someone so there." he answered easily and stared at her. "Anything else you wish to know?" he asked with a serious look on his face.

"I hope so" Shiva smiled then nodded and went with Jamil to get something to eat easily.

"Oh... i meant dreams as in... like your ambitions, what you want in life other then to fulfill your royal duties." Mel explained softly. "I'm sorry if I'm bothering you with all my questions." she said softly.

Rurik thought about this for a bit, "Well...I'm not sure. I do what needs to be done, what's important and that's my duties as a prince. Those never end you know." he replied and sighed softly. "You're not really bothgering me by asking questions, makes me feel important and I like that." he said with a grin. "Well now, dinner is probably waiting." he said and started heading to the dining room where his parents were taking their seats.

"This is true... I fear I may have only worsened the burden on you without meaning to... Mother and Father said that I could handle many of my duties away from the castle... I was working foreign affairs... but I was supposed to stay in contact... I don't know how or why my letters didn't make it here... it worries me greatly." Mel sighed softly before smiling some as they walked. "I'm glad I got to talk to you though Rurik." she smiled softly as they got to the dining room and she opened the doors for him.

Rurik smirked at what she said and looked at her. "I don't mind doing everything myself. I have nothing better to do honestly." he said and motioned for Mei to go on in first, it was only the right thing to do after all. Once they were inside, Irsa grinned at seeing them both together. "If I had a camera I'd take a photo. You both look so cute together!" she exclaimed. Rurik frowned slightly and quickly took his seat. "How have you two been getting along?" asked Atros as wine and water was served. "I don't know." muttered Rurik.

Mel smiled some as she took her own seat and folded her napkin in her lap along with her hands. "just getting to know each other... well I was getting to know Rurik, oh you know you can ask me any questions that you have as well correct?" she asked softly to Rurik not wanting their conversation to be one sided.

"I have nothing to ask you." Rurik started. "I would ask why it is you left, but I don't care to know." he added. "Now Rurik, you shouldn't be talking to your sister that way." warned Irsa. "I know, but I don't know her well enough to even call her sister mother." Rurik replied easily. Irsa frowned at this, clearly getting upset that Rurik wasn't welcoming his sister back into his life. "Your sister really missed you Rurik, she even brought you gifts from her travels." Irsa stated. Atros, being the peacekeeper of the family, just watched in silence. "Well if she really did miss me why didn't she ever call me or write to me?!" hissed Rurik. "She did! The cards and calls just never reached us." Irsa explained. "That's because they never happened in the first place." Rurik commented. Sighing sopftly, Atros looked at both Rurik and Irsa. "Now now you two. I want you both to behave properly. You don't want to anger me do you?" he asked and narrowed his eyes. "No father." replied Rurik softly. "No dear." replied Irsa. "Well then, good choice." Atros said and looked at Meleanie with a smirk. "I'm sure Rurik doesn't hate you Mel, he's just saddened that you were gone all of his childhood. I'm sure the two of you will grow close eventually, don't be offended by his personality, it's just who he is and once you can see past that outer shell, you'll see he's not such a bad guy after all." Atros promised and took a bite of his food.

"Oh dear... please don't fight, I can understand where he's coming from Mother, I should have returned when the first five or so letters and calls hadn't been returned, instead of just assuming that you guys had been upset with me. Just know that I do love you very much Rurik and I sincerely hope that we can become close" Melanie smiled softly to Rurik. "But I do hope that you will accept the gifts that I have brought you from around the world." she offered softly still smiling a little before eating some.

Irsa swallowed the bite of food she was chewing and shook her head. "He still shouldn't be talking to you that way Mel. It's not fair to you." she said. "Dear, both Mel and Rurik will soon get along I'm sure of it. We both know though that it won't be such an easy task, it will take time and nothing we do or say is going to change it." Atros explained, hoping to calm everyone down. Rurik wasn't paying too much attention since he was focused on eating his food but he did hear what Meleanie said. "If that will make you a happy child then I suppose I'll accept the gifts." he muttered and drank his wine happily. "By the way Mel, how's your room? Is it still as comfortable as whne you last slept in it? Did you need to replace a few things?" Asked Atros. "Oh! We can go shopping if youd like Mel. We can get you some new clothes." Irsa suggested.

"It's okay Mother, really" Mel said softly then listened some and gave a slight smile. "it would see my taste in bedding has changed, so I would love to go out shopping with you" she smiled softly before looking to Rurik and sighed softly. "I honestly think you'll like some of the gifts i've gotten you, but if you don't want them it's really up to you." she pointed out softly before continuing to eat.

"Great to hear Mel! I'm sure we can find some new sheets and things for your bed and room in general." Irsa said after finhishing her food. Atros was just glad that everyone seemed to be in a better mood. Still, he knew that there was a tension between Mel and Rurik but that would clear up soon enough. At least...he hoped it did. Rurik listened to Mel's sigh and said nothing, only kept eating his dinner until he had finished. When dinner was all finished, Irsa prepared a carriage for Mel and herself. Atros left to his study after ruffling Rurik's hair which left Rurik thinking as to what he would do now.

Mel smiled and was soon finished eating as well and left with Irsa to go shopping easily.

Shiva smiled as she was finished eating and went to start help clean up checking in the dining room to see if everyone was finished but noticed that Rurik was still there. "Evening Master, is there anything that you need?" she smiled softly but happily.

The palace had gone silent after the girls had left to go do their shopping, and Rurik decided that he would take this time to get a few things done. "What is there to get done?" he asked himself. When he heard Shiva he stood up and looked at her. "I need something to do. It's too quite right now since my mother and...Meleanie are out shopping. My father is in his study like always and I have nothing to do really." he explained and narrowed his eyes. "Did you finish cleaning?" he asked.

"Something to do?" Shiva repeated and thought some "oh Well I was checking in here to see if everyone was finished" She explained but still smiled a bit
