Clint just listened for the water to turn off, and waited for her to come out of the bathroom on her own.

He tried not to think about just how royally he'd screwed this one up.

Victoria just nodded a bit, still anxious, and waited for him to leave before she hurried to the bathroom. A shower sounded good, and the running water would provide a bit of a shield to cut her off from everything for a little while.

After finding some clothes and braiding her hair messily out of the way, Jasmine emerged from the bathroom, slowly and carefully. Although she felt safe with her new Alpha, she didn't want to do anything to upset him.

Bucky just gave her time, getting dressed and getting everything packed up so they could go when she was ready. And he spent a bit of time figuring out how he was going to tell Steve.

Clint glanced over when he saw her.

"How are you feeling?" he asked gently.

Victoria took a while in the shower, and only crept back out of the bathroom once she had something decent enough on. She tried to move quietly, so she didn't disturb whatever her Alpha might be doing.

Jasmine shrugged, uncomfortable. "Fine," she said, glancing at him and away. "A bit hungry."

Bucky went to check on her once he had everything packed up, looking in on her briefly. "Feel a bit better?" he asked.

"There's still some food left," Clint said, gesturing to the remaining box of snacks. "If you feel up to it."

Victoria jumped when he appeared out of nowhere, but nodded.

"A little," she said.

Jasmine nodded and picked up one of the snacks at random, nibbling on it but keeping part of her attention on him the whole time.

"Good." Bucky hesitated for a moment. "We'll stay here one more night, give you a chance to get some proper rest." Because that was now just as important to him as moving along was.

Clint watched her, as well, at least for a few minutes.

"We shouldn't stay here much longer," he said finally. "Another day or two at the most, then we should head out again."

"And then what?" Victoria asked quietly, watching him.

Jasmine nodded. "Whenever you want," she agreed quietly. She could tell it would take a bit to get used to the new bond and figure out what was and wasn't alright with her new Alpha.

"After that we need to head out again," Bucky said. "Get somewhere safe."

"Another day or so," Clint said, nodding a bit. "For now, you should rest a bit more, I think. Unless you want to leave now, we can do that too."

Victoria just nodded. She wasn't about to do anything that could be seen as contradicting her Alpha. She didn't want to give him any reason to be angry at her. Quietly, she nibbled on an Omega snack bar.

Jasmine shrugged. It wasn't really her choice, as far as she was concerned. "Up to you," she said, glancing at him and then away again. "You're in charge."

Bucky gave her some room again, trying to let her settle down. She was acting a bit oddly, and he was hoping that some food and proper rest would help.

"I want you to be comfortable," Clint protested. "We can stay until you think you've rested enough to move on."

Once she'd had something to eat, Victoria went and curled up on the couch. She didn't want to get back into the bed, not in the state it was in, but she wanted some actual sleep.

Jasmine nodded to show she'd heard, twisting and pulling her braid to the side to show him the mark, in case she'd upset him already.

Bucky moved in once she was gone and cleaned the bedroom, letting her sleep and getting rid of all the bedclothes, just in case. He did make sure not to wake her, though.

Clint noticed the gesture and knew what it meant.

"I'm not angry with you," he said gently. "You haven't done anything wrong."

Victoria stirred a bit when he came back into the living room. She opened her eyes and watched him as he moved around.

Jasmine swallowed at that and slowly turned to look at him again. There was just too much happening at once, and she wasn't quite sure how to deal with having a new mate as well as being gods-knew-where in Europe and hiding from evil people.

Bucky noticed her looking and shot her a grin. She certainly looked more comfortable there, and he wasn't going to deny her comfort if he could help it.

"I promise I'm not angry with you at all," Clint repeated when she stopped.

Victoria just watched him, not moving from where she was on the couch.

"Alright," Jasmine accepted, eyeing him for a moment. Then she shook herself, looking away again.

"Hungry?" Bucky asked, going to heat up some soup for them. It wasn't gourmet by any standard, but it was warm, and decently good. Good enough for now, at least.

"Go ahead and rest," Clint said gently. "I'll see what I can scrounge up for food."

Victoria nibbled her lip a bit and nodded, looking down. She didn't want to present herself as any sort of burden, but she was getting hungry now.

Jasmine nodded quietly and settled in, curling up there and keeping half her attention on him. She didn't want to lose track of him, after all.

Bucky nodded and got up. "Good, so'm I. Lemme see what I can find." He moved into the kitchen and started rooting around for things.

Clint rooted around in their supplies before finally coming back out with some sandwiches. He brought a plate over to her.

"Are these alright for now?" he asked.

Victoria settled back onto the couch, curled up in one corner. She didn't want to draw his attention unnecessarily.

"Yeah," Jasmine said after a moment, inspecting her sandwich briefly before starting to eat slowly. She didn't want to upset her stomach, even though she was used to her meals being short and interrupted.

Bucky warmed up some soup for them both and found some bowls, bringing two bowls over to the coffee table.

"Sorry there isn't much else to go with it," he said. "At least it's warm."

Clint just gave her all the time she needed to eat the sandwich. He knew she wasn't likely to finish it all at first.

"Thanks," Victoria said softly. She took a small sip of the soup.

Jasmine ate a little over half before she put the sandwich down and pushed it away a little bit. Now to make sure it sat okay with her stomach, which was a bit iffy right then.

"Any time." Bucky settled in to let her eat her soup, taking his time with his and getting up to get himself more after he finished the first bowl. He'd made plenty for both of them, just in case.

Clint didn't say anything; he just let her take her time. Instead, he checked over their supplies and made a mental note about when they would need to leave.

Victoria just slowly sipped the soup, and eventually set the bowl aside when she couldn't finish any more.

Jasmine settled in again, watching him quietly as he moved around but making no attempts to talk to him yet.

Bucky cleaned up once they were both done and checked their supplies one last time. They'd have to get going in the morning, but that would be alright. It would only take another day or two to get to the meeting point.

Clint just let Jasmine be for the moment.

Victoria settled in again once she was sure Bucky didn't need anything from her at all, and she ended up falling asleep there on the couch.
