It only seems complicated the first few times you play. Then it's fairly simple to get the basics. Then you want to learn all the tricky combos.

Tabletop game that uses cards where you and a few friends play as adventures looking to fight monsters and get loot. First to reach Level 10 wins the game. You can help people as you see fit, but expect to be backstabbed over the course of the game, because that's what you do in Munchkin. You ally with people until you're in enough of a seat of power to pull the rug from under them.

That'd be the footnotes version, anyway.

You can end up dying many times in the course of a session, actually.

But that's part of the fun, as long as you're not dealing absolute cutthroats.

I've played Mario Party-like games where backstabbing other players is well.... extremely commonplace.

Rocketman - oh that doesn't sound fun at all >.< I don't like players who are like that all the time. Like Portal 2 plyaing the multiplayer, it's fun to drop your partner off a light bridge occasionally but not every time >.<
