That is definitely the sort of reaction my kitty had to my bunny. XD He would totally bolt whenever it came near. This was when the bunny was old and as big as him though. When the bunny was small they used to hang out a bit more. I have a picture of the bunny sitting next to the kitty both eating cat food out of his dish.
Aww that must be such a cute photo! I still think it is kind of funny how a cat could be afraid of a rabbit. It's not like bunnies have the claws or teeth of a carnivore :)
I had a friend who kept the house bunny in a cage in the middle of an empty dark room. It was the bunny's room, and was owned by...ah, his mother, I think. Sometimes he would open the door for guests, very slowly, and then turn on the light and you would hear the most horrific howling and hissing that came from the rabbit.
"This is his domain," my friend would say.

I find this story to be quite sad actually. If you kept an animal in the dark all the time I can see why it would become agressive. V_V

I've heard of this but I haven't seen it! I wonder why they are so scared...
