I know right? Things are weird here. Most of the major clothing stores have a ground floor and then either upper or lower floors. In other places there are completely underground stores. Or stores that are on the 15th floor of a building for example. It can sometimes be very hard to find the place you are looking for. >.<
Yay! I totally would never go if you weren't there to help. I tell people I have the direction sense of a rock....just point me in a direction and say "walk"
Manhattan is relatively easy once you figure out the North, South, East, and West thing. If you look at Manhattan, the numbers of the streets always increase to the North. And to the West, the avenues decrease in number. I always have to take a minute once I get off the subway to look at the surrounding streets to figure out my direction headings and then I'm good. It's only difficult when you get to places in lower Manhattan where the streets are no longer straight and the names are no longer numbers. >.>
