You know, it's actually awesome that some of the ladies do enjoy things like He-Man for one reason or another. Keeping in mind how society was in the 80's over what was for boys and what was for girls. :o

Now if only modern gaming could see similar course.

LOL! I never really followed that convention. I loved He Man and Star Wars and Star Trek and all that "boyish" stuff. And Legos! I loved it!

Would you find it odd if I told you that I loved things like Sailor Moon, and some of my favorite characters were powerful heroines or villains? Not to mention, well... my perverted side got stronger with THAT over the years. :o

And yet, I couldn't bring myself to like the modern MLP. On the flip side, I do like plenty of "boyish" things too, though I prefer to imagine that one day, they can be inclusive in that you're just simply interacting with a story... or something. You know, fun stuff.

ROFL! That's totally understandable. Some of the boys I knew growing up watched Sailor Moon as well! I always tended to lean towards the boyish anime for some reason... Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho and Samurai Champloo. Ahhh the good memories. And video games too! That was a super masculine thing when I was growing up.

Also those scenes were the sailors change into their costumes and look pretty much naked... Yeah, totally understand that holding an interest for young boys. >.>

Young boys and old pervs. :P

And I love how it was only specifically certain platformers and FPS games that were the super masculine games, and in some cases, some RPG franchises. But heaven forbid you enjoy something outside the norm back then. Or even now in some groups. I would've been less of a man because I enjoyed Turn-Based Strategy games in some of my old circles. Those circles were probably what made me as insecure as them in my past years. Nowatimes, I try to be smarter about it. Walk on a few eggshells, but be a little more open.

In short, I'm proud to be a perv, but I'm careful about devulging the level of that pervishness, or rather, my quirks associated with it.

Yeah, the games a played and still play certainly wouldn't be considered the masculine games. I wasn't playing like pretty princess dress up but games like pokemon or some of the old Disney Based games, puzzle games, RPGs, etc. I'm not good with shooters, first person games, PVP games, or horror games.

Don't you love how fairly inclusive Pokemon is nowadays? It's truly a testament that it doesn't matter who your protagonist is, so long as the story and gameplay are engaging. Now if only the male designs weren't so BLAND!!!... oh well, I ended up liking lots of cute girls in the series thanks to the games. :o

I'm probably giving away too much about myself as it is. -points behind you- Look! A Three Headed Monkey!

I'll let it slide because that was nice timing. I'm just messin', anyway. I'm talking about the biting back if a girl has a fascination with being a cat.
