Berwald headed for the lake at the center, his long legs setting a fast pace. Two empty benches sat overlooking the water with it's tree branches hanging down and he set his bag on one of them. He pulled out the two waters and carefully set the camera behind. The Frisbee he offered to Tino. "Brought it for Hana, but we can play with it too," he offered. He wasn't sure what to do on a park date, but this had seemed acceptable.

Tino walked quickly to keep up with Berwald. He was slightly out of breath when they reached their destination and took a moment to catch his breath before taking the Frisbee from the other man. "Sounds like fun~" he told him. The Frisbee might be to big for Hana to catch, but she might be able to if they kept it low and didn't throw to hard. If not, she'd most likely find a way to entertain herself. Probably by chasing birds. That was something she liked to do here.

"Hope this is alright," Berwald muttered low. He didn't want to admit that he failed at all things date. He of course did go on dates before, but somehow the steps past date number one escaped him and he hated the idea of asking Mathias for advice. Staring down at hanatamago, he silently begged the dog to apologize for him. "Wasn't sure what to bring."

"This is fine. I hadn't really planned anything for us to do while we were here, so I'm glad one of us thought this far ahead." Tino told him. He could tell the other was a bit nervous about this, but wasn't sure what to say to make it better. Hana went over to Berwald and raised her front paws on his leg again, wanting to be picked up.

Berwald felt a little more at ease, but still not quite relaxed. He so badly didn't want to mess this up. "Glad...ugh?" He let out a small noise of confusion as Hana jumped up on him again. "Ya like me?" he asked, able to take more natural to the dog, not needing to look anyone in the eye. When he realized what she wanted, he picked Hana up and let her lick his face until his glasses ended up crooked. "The Frisbee was Peter's. Been a while since I played with someone else." He couldn't even say how long.

Tino smiled at the sight of Berwald holding Hana. It was an adorable sight. "Its been a long time since I've played with one of these. I used to play with my cousins when we're kids. But that was a long time ago." He said. He as silent for a moment. "I'm happy Hana liked you so much. Definitely way more than my last boyfriend. She bit him when I introduced her to him."

"That's sad," Berwald hummed. "She seems friendly." It didn't sound believable that this dog would bite anyone. He had to shift one hand so he could fix his glasses, but Hana just kept wagging her tail. At the mention of family he let out another hum. "Ya have close family?" He set the dog down after another second and walked to a more open spot not so crowded with lake viewers. Rather than say anything, he just held a hand out to catch the Frisbee.

"The guy deserved it anyway. He wasn't a nice person." Tino told him. "Not really. I have a couple cousins. But no siblings. I wish I had a little brother. But that wasn't meant to be. My cousins are like my brothers though, so it's ok." He waited for Berwald to be ready before throwing the Frisbee. Hana chased after it, tail wagging.

Berwald felt a little bothered to hear about Tino's past boyfriend. It shouldn't have to this degree, but Tino was just so sweet. He grunted name little to make up form his lack of answer about that. With one hand he reached up and plucked the Frisbee out of the air just as Hana reached his side. He held the object down to taunt the dog before he tossed it back to Tino, trying not to throw too high. "Huh. I have a friend 'n we grew up together. A bit like brothers, or he thinks he's kind anyway," he added with a twist of his face.

"That's nice. Are you still friends?" Tino asked. He fumbled a bit when he caught the Frisbee, but managed to keep ahold of it. He smiled a bit when Hana chased it again. Her little tail was wagging so hard. He was glad she was having as much fun as he was. He threw it back towards Berwald and the little dog was off again.

They continued to toss the Frisbee and Hana continued to chase as they talked. Berwald grunted in the affirmative. "Yeah. Still butting in on my life," But he couldn't really blame Mathias for it considering how things worked out with him and Tino. He caught the Frisbee again, avoiding stepping on Hana with an almost graceful step. Although he often stood still and didn't seem the type, he had the athleticism to easily play like this. "''N you?" he asked, wanting to know about Tino's friends.

"I have a few friends. They all work together in a big corporation, so I don't get to see them as often as I would like. But we still get to do things together on weekends if they're not busy. I've met their boss. He's a very intimidating man." Tino said. Much like how Berwald was an intimidating man. But he didn't feel much fear around either or them. He figured he must be immune to intimidation. Or just having been in the right situation to be afraid of it.

That sounded interesting. Berwald liked hearing all of these things, but there was still so much he didn't know that it was overwhelming to figure out which questions to ask next. He of course had little more to say on friends, Mathias being the only one who really stuck around unless he counted his coworkers. They never got that close to him. "Whatdaya do when ya hang with 'em?" he asked as he tossed the Frisbee low that time for Hana's benefit.

Tino thought for a moment, watching as Hana chased the Frisbee, barely able to catch it at the last moment. She trotted back over to Berwald, pleased with herself. "We normally go to the mall, or here to the park, or maybe go see a movie. Normal friend stuff." he eventually said. "What do you normally do with your friends?" he asked, curious.

Berwald took the Frisbee back and spent a minute to wipe the dog drool off of it on his jeans. He tossed it back to Tino worth a slight shrug. "Fun. We...text 'n trade DVDs." Or rather, Mathias gave him lots to watch and Berwald ocassionally recommended things back from his nights spent deep in the black hole of the internet. "We drink mostly. Right now he's probably feeding Peter ice cream." Berwald cringed a little at the thought of whatever laxness was ensuing in his house, but it also didn't matter because he wasn't the one dealing it.

"That's sounds like fun." Tino said, catching the Frisbee. "What's wrong with ice cream? It's delicious." He couldn't imagine not having ice cream. It was a wonderful snack. He was silent for a moment, thinking about what Berwald had said. "I have an idea. You and me and all our friends should go out drinking together! Get to know each other!" he suggested.

The problem with ice cream was it made children hyper and led to Peter whining and saying 'uncle Mathias' let him have some before dinner, so why couldn't daddy? But as long as he didn't have to deal with it, Berwald didn't mind. He nodded his head once. "Sounds good. Just warn ya, we tend to drink a lot." He didn't know if he should warn Tino that insanity had a tendency to happen as well, not that he was usually a part of it. Tino just didn't look like a heavy drinker.

"That's fine." Tino assured him. He was pretty good at holding his drink, after all. "We should go tonight!" he exclaimed suddenly. All this talk about drinking made him want one. He was sure that his friends were available to go on weekends. At least during the night time. All he needed was Berwald's agreement and could call and arranged it.

Berwald looked at Tino dubiously. That was rather quick confirmation and planning. He hadn't been expecting tonight, but he didn't have any reason to say now. "Alright. I'll tell Math later. I'm sure he's free 'n I don't work." It would probably be fun and with how nicely this date seemed to be going, it would be a good ending. As long as Mathias didn't screw it up.

Tino beamed at him. "That's great! I'll be sure to tell my friends too. Were would be a good place to go? Would you want to go to the place you work, or would you prefer someplace different?" he asked. He wanted to check out Berwald's workplace, but he could wait on that if the other was uncomfortable about going there to hang out while he wasn't working. There were plenty of places in the city they could go, after all.

Berwald knew far too many drinking spots in the city, probably more than he should. "I'll let Math pick," he assured Tino. Mathais always had good suggestions with that. He didn't think they should go to his work though in case they made a ruckus. He did had a reputation that needed to stay untarnished after all. "I can text ya with that later."

"Sounds good." Tino told him. At that moment, his stomach let out a growl. He flushed slightly from embarrassment. "Um.. Do you want to go get something to eat?" He asked. He knew a few cafes around here they could eat at. Sure, there were people selling hot dogs from a stand here in the park, but that wasn't really appetizing to him.

Berwald nodded his head once, deciding that at the mention of food, he wouldn't mind some as well. "Whadaya want?" he asked. By himself, he would probably eat from one of the vendors, but since this wax a date, it would be nice to sit down somewhere. He however, did not know the eateries well enough to suggest anything. "Don't know where is best."

"I know a good place." Tino told him. "Just follow me." He gave Berwald a smile before he grabbed Hana's leash and began walking. He headed out of the park and reached a small cafe within a few minutes. He took a seat stone of the seats outside while Hana curled up under his feet.

After gathering his things from the bench, Berwald followed Tino to the cafe. It smelled pleasant only a few others sat outside, allowing them the feeling of privacy. With the way Tino walked straight to it, he guessed the other man knew the place well. Berwald would have to remember the place's name. "Ya come here often?" he asked as he pondered what to eat.
