Lovino read the message and blushed lightly, embarrassed by being called out on wanting to talk to him. He had an image to upkeep, after all. 'I didn't want to talk to u. Feli and Nonno* are gone so I wanted u to come over and entertain me.' He sent, still blushing. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but he enjoyed spending time with Antonio. He was one of the nicest people he has ever met.


*Nonno- Italian for Grandpa

Oh? Antonio chuckled as he read that. Lovino must have been really lonely to have sent a message like that. 'I'll be there in ten minutes,' he texted back then rolled off the bed. Rolled as in from bed to floor in a heap, but his clothes never made it into the drawers and it was easier to dress from there. He found himself in a happy daze. He could hang with his precious boyfriend with no old people's eyes on him!

Lovino looked at the message before getting up and looking around. His room was clean, for the most part. There were some dirty clothes on the floor and he picked them up and threw them in the dirty clothes basket. It was almost full and he made a mental note to do laundry sometime soon. He then checked what he was wearing. Just a normal t-shirt and jeans. For a moment he wondered if he should change before shaking his head. 'I am not dressing up for him!' he thought to himself. He headed out to the living room to wait for Antonio to arrive.

Antonio didn't even look at the clothes he threw on and spent no time making himself 'pretty'. Rather, he was in a hurry and was out the door in one minute. Since he didn't have a car, he walked down the sunny streets, which was fine since he conveniently lived close to his boyfriend. Fifteen minutes later, he flung open the door to the other's house. "Lovi, I'm here!" he yelled with both arms outstretched as if waiting for the other to jump into his arms.

Lovino would swear on his life that he wasn't watching the clock, waiting for Antonio to arrive. He though he was. He couldn't help the slight annoyance that came when ten minutes had gone past. He then proceeded to stare at the door, still waiting. He couldn't help but glare when the Spaniard finally arrived, five minutes late. "You're late, you bastard." he told him, arms crossed across his chest.

"Eh? Am I?" Antonio paused, his arms still outstretched. "But I walked as fast as I could." Lovino could be so picky about little details like that. Shouldn't it have been enough that he came as fast as he could? Without remembering to close the door, he swooped forward and wrapped the smaller Italian in a giant hug. "I'm sorry!"

Lovino stiffened slightly at the sudden contact and his face blushed red. The only person who hugged him on a regular bases besides his family was Antonio so he wasn't completely used to it. He halfheartedly tried to push him away, but secretly enjoying the contact. "I suppose I can forgive you this time....... Bastard." He told him, adding the last part so the other wouldn't think he was soft.

Of course, the little insults that Lovino threw out just made Antonio think he was cuter. Dishonesty was somehow the most adorable thing ever. He pulled away and finally kicked the door closed because the sound of a car reminded him that he probably should. "Ah good. So how did you want me to entertain you?" he asked with a smile.

"Uhh...." Lovino was to embarrassed to admit he hadn't actually thought of something to do for when Antonio got here. He didn't have to be at work until 6 pm and while he didn't mind if he was late, Grandpa had been trying to stress to him the importance of being on time for once. So, he tried to think of something that wouldn't take to long. "We could watch a movie or something..." he eventually said.

"Oh? That sounds nice. You should have said so before so I could bring over this cool movie Francis lended me!" he exclaimed. He couldn't remember what the movie was called, but it would probably be very funny because all of his movies were even if he said they weren't comedies. He had plenty of time until work and he would gladly skip if it meant spending time with his boyfriend. Though he actually got hit last time he did that. "Would you like me to make us some snacks while we watch?"

He thought about that. What he wanted was for Antonio to just sit down and hold him while they were watching the movie. But he couldn't come out and say that. So he shrugged. "Go ahead if you want to. I'll go pick a movie out." he told him, going over to the movie collection. They had movies of every genre that were in both English and Italian. He ignored the Italian ones, focusing on the English. What type of movie to watch? He wasn't sure. He really should have planned this better before inviting Antonio over.

"Okay!" Antonio exclaimed before he skipped over to the kitchen. He knew this kitchen almost as well as he knew his own, having cooked for Lovino before and eaten the yummy food to the Italian twins. Hm, what to make? He stuck out his bottom lip in a pout as he rummaged in the cabinets. It would have to be quick and easy, but tasty too because he'd never make something un-special for his little Lovi. Finally he settled on a cold dip and some crackers. "I'll be out in just a minute!" he called as he started mixing in a bowl.

"Alright." Lovino called back. He eventually decided to pick out a Disney movie. Those were some of the best American made movies around. But he wouldn't admit that to anybody. He looked them over before deciding on the movie UP. It was a good one, after all. He put the movie in the DVD player and turned on the TV before sitting on the couch, remote in hand.

A few minutes later, Antonio moved back to the living room, his arms laden with two boxes of crackers and a bowl of creamy spinach and tomato dip. A few crumbs stuck to his fingers and a fleck of the dip stuck to the corner of his mouth, signaling he'd 'taste tested' it already. "We're watching a cartoon?" he asked as the set the bowl down. "Then I guess that means we get to snuggle."

Lovino couldn't stop the blush that came from that. "T-That doesn't mean anything! I just thought it would be a good movie to watch! Who would want to snuggle with you?!" he asked, stuttering slightly. Sure, that was exactly what he wanted to do. But Antonio didn't need to know that, right? He looked away from the other, hoping his blush would go away. He hated how when he blushed, his whole face would turn red. That just made it even more embarrassing when it happened.

"Eh?" Antonio asked with a blank stare. "But Lovi loves to snuggle with me. What are you complaining about?" He wrapped arms around the other and pulled him close, almost into his lap, before laying his head against Lovino's shoulder. He could feel the warmth from the other's blush more than see it and it made Antonio feel warm inside. He sighed, just reveling in the feeling that was holding Lovino. Even if he threw something the next second, Antonio always felt better just being by his side.

Lovino was stiff for a moment when Antonio pulled him close. He then proceeded to pretend to struggle to get away for a moment before shifting to get more comfortable and then relaxing against him. This was exactly what he wanted, to be close enough to the Spaniard to feel his warmth. It always made him feel warm and safe. "Whatever, bastard." he muttered, hitting play for the movie. He was still blushing, but he kept his face turned away from the other, hoping he wouldn't notice.

Antonio chuckled at lovino's blush. Did he think he didn't notice? Well, Antonio wouldn't point it out and embarrass him even more. This was already enough. He pressed a kiss to the other's cheek. Even though the movie started, he paid very little attention to it. Rather, he watched Lovino's face, finding it far more amusing. "I love this movie..." he murmured.

Lovino blushed more when he felt Antonio kiss his cheek. He kept his eyes on the movie. His blush eventually faded from his cheeks, which made him feel better. "Yeah.. It's a good one." He agreed. He shifted so that he would be leaning more against the Spaniard. He didn't want the movie to end. That would mean he'd have to go to work and deal with people when all he wanted to do was born here with the other.

Of course, the movie Antonio referred to was Lovino himself. He snuggled more and hummed with bliss. He wished he didn't have to work even if he enjoyed playing at the club. He had other gigs too, but the club was his recurring and favorite one. Letting out a yawn, he closed his eyes and curled around Lovino, half falling asleep until the movie ended. "...Te amo..." he murmured in his near-sleep state, not even noticing what he said.

Lovino stiffened when he heard Antonio speak. "What did you say?" He asked, not sure if he heard correctly. He didn't speak Spanish, but that sounded so much likely the Italian version that he understood what was said. But it couldn't be right. There was no way Antonio could love him. He was a rude person, after all. Unlike the Spaniard himself. Which is why he loved him, but has never said to him.

But Antonio drifted off without hearing Lovino's question. He missed his midday siesta and being with Lovino made him feel warm and cozy, like being next to a fire or under a blanket with a cat. Had he ever mentioned that Lovi's hair was soft to pet like his childhood pet's fur? He mumbled some more nonsense along the lines of wanting to pet brown tabbies before he started to drool.

Lovino glared slightly at Antonio. He wanted an answer. He shoved his arm against the other, hitting him hard with his elbow. "Hey you bastard. Wake up!" While normally he would have let the Spaniard sleep, he couldn't this time for two reasons. For one, he wanted an answer to his question. The other was that he was going to have to be leaving soon.

Antonio let out a very unmanly sounding squeak as his eyes flung open again. "Ow! Who did that? Why would you-?" He saw Lovino glaring at him. Deflating, he pouted at Lovino for a second as his brief anger dissipated. He pulled his arms away to cross them over his chest. "Lovi, why'd you hit me?"

"You were falling asleep, you bastard." Lovino stated, still glaring slightly, annoyed with him about it. "Also you said something that I wasn't sure of the meaning to and wouldn't answer when I asked what you were saying." He added. He really wanted to know if Antonio meant what he said, or if he didn't even mean to say it.
