It makes up for the crazy amount of extra hours I work during the school year
I work at least 10 hours every day during the school year - with all the before and after school ensembles that I do (I'm a music teacher) plus all the concerts, etc. So having the 2 months off during the summer kind of makes up for it? But it's not like I sit around all summer - I lesson plan all summer, work in my classroom, create manipulatives, etc.
