It's the Thor movies that I hate. Natalie Portman phoning in her performances sucks. Well she knows she sucks because she got herself out of her Marvel movie contract because she obviously couldn't give a damn about the movie. But Natalie Portman was never a good actor anyway.
Still, Thor has the weakest MCU movies. First Thor is a little above average and the second one is forgettable. Hopefully the third one is a resurgence and better since it took Cap only one movie to get a great one while Thor still hasn't gotten a good one.
Given how important it is to the MCU since Phase Three is basically all crazy set of movies. Inhumans, Ragnorok, Civil War, and the two parter Avengers.
Can't wait to see how it all effects Agents of SHIELD. Though SHIELD already has introduced inhumans in the MCU.
I love how they are all tied together. Just love it. Though I am seriously excited for Doctor Strange. Though worried as well. Woried that they will dick it up. And if they do dick it up I will be one seriously pissed off chick.
Frankly, the only reason I liked Thor: The Dark World was because of Loki.
Natalie Portman brought nothing to the table... It feels like they just threw her in to add romance. Which, is ridiculous because I'm pretty sure according to myth, Thor and Sif were an item! Why not do that for the movies?
They added some of the original myth stuff, such as Sleipnir, but they didn't expand on it much, which is understandable. I mean, I don't think the world is ready to have a movie where Loki gets pregnant and gives birth to a horse!
I'm not going to be excited till I see a trailer since I kind of want to see how different it is from the previous two. I expect it to be a little different because of the direction Marvel is going with Phase Three but i'll just wait and see.
I have been a long time fan of Doctor Strange. Even before I found out who was playing him. I personally like Cumberbatch. He's a brilliant Sherlock and I feel he will do well with the role of Sorcerer Supreme.
Carter might be out of the question. Might be. Won't find out till renewals.
The new show spinning off of SHIELD might be cool though but since I mostly dedicate watch SHIELD or Game of Thrones it'll be another thing to add onto. Still would be nice though. Hope the spinoff deals with another part of SHIELD operations that we don't get to see. Some people are speculating about it being Coulson setting up a SHIELD academy with Mays husband. Seems a plausible theory but the next episode Tuesday should open up what exactly Coulson is doing outside of the rest of the teams knowledge.
