Nothing done flowers and candy won't fix.

i'd much rather have a massage than candy and flowers. i kill flowers. T.T and candy is very miss more than hit if i want it.

I'm not big on massage. But I've always had mild acne and love when boo tends to my back... Tmi ???

some people like that stuff :] *shrugs* doesn't bother me. My friends wife is a nurse and is really into using a scalpel to pick things off him. He hates it. but loves her so lets her do it.

Momma never wanted flowers as a gift because they die and have to be thrown away.

I have found the perfect gift for my mom and dad for Mother's/Father's Day. *nods* I bought us tickets to an area orchestra that ends their season with big band music. I got them this year because it's going to be Benny Goodman music. I adore Benny Goodman. But they both told me that if I wanted I could do this for them every year. And I am allowed to get myself a ticket if I want to go as well. This past Sunday I bought us all tickets to go see a silent Sherlock Holmes film. It was amazing.

I never know what to give my parents on Mothers/Fathers Day. I usually just cook them a dinner or something or we go out to eat and watch movies. :/

I forgot that mothers and fathers day was coming up. I'm rather considering all the hard work i' am putting into their house to be a great gift. cause i'm exhausted with how much i'm doing for them right now. >.<

I once got my mom some wooden roses for Mother's Day.
They were flowers and they didn't die... But they definitely got really dusty!


I'm trying out some vegan/cruelty free makeups and seeing which ones I like.

Daddy died in 07 on father's day. Before I left Detroit I planted lilacs in ma's back yard so she would have flowers from me every mother's day.

I'm finding that the older I get, the less I pay attention to holidays...
My mom died when I was 18...& she wasn't much of a mom to celebrate, anyway!
My dream gift for Mothers Day would be for my 2 able-bodied daughters to spend the day with their disabled sister for a day...and give me a break away from Sarah.
(I'll just keep on dreaming! Lol!)

Usually when I wear makeup, I wear dark colors. I know it's weird because it probably doesn't seem to match my personality. But yeah. I wear dark colors most of the time. Blacks, greys, silvers. My clothes are even dark most of the time. I have a lot of black and dark colors. I have some cheery clothes, but I always feel like I look like an idiot when I wear them, so I choose not to wear them most of the time.

It's been cold here but no snow, thank goodness. :D

Do you ever wear purple ava? I've found that a really rich purple goes really beautifully with your skin tone. I just love how they compliment each other. <3 but other than you look super pretty in the picture, i can't say much about makeup. i'm pretty clueless when it comes to makeup. i look like a stinking barbie doll if I try.

Hey, Ava...thanks for asking about Sarah...
She had a nice spell of eating really well, for a while...then she had some seizure activity...so she wasn't eating as well as I would prefer, but she had almost stopped holding food in her mouth and was letting me feed her...
She had been acting more interested in what Hope would be playing with...attempting to use more words, even...
But, last night she had 3...possibly 4..seizures...so, we may be starting all over again, in the eating department...
This is usually how it goes...The better Sarah's behaviour gets, the more we can expect seizure activity in the near future...
It sucks...cuz she can get to being really cool to be around...then, BAM!...a seizure comes and she regresses back to whining/moaning and refusing to swallow....

We have had constant snowfall of tiny flakes since noon, yesterday...uu
I blame the funky weather for Sarah's seizures...and having 4 inches of new snow on my porch on April 30th is a bit "funky!" Lol!
We could see snow showers all week long!
The roads stay wet during the day, then freeze overnight, but most of the driveways up here are dirt, so the BF is still making money!

Hope's parents came and took Hope for an extended stay with them...probably 8 days...
I'm happy for her...the temperatures are warmer in the city and she can go outside to play without risk of frostbite!
They are going to meet a doggie...a 4 year old Doberman from a rescue...terribly neglected....and Hope is excited to see if this doggie can join their family!
I am eagerly awaiting news about the meeting and whether Samson gets to go home with them.

So...Sarah is sleeping...Hope turned the radio off before she left...all I heard is the sound of tires driving on the wet highway...
It is too damned quiet!...and it will seem too quiet for 8 days!
I'm trying to be a big girl and not cry about missing Hope...its only 8 days, afterall! Lol!

I hope the weekend is pleasant for other folks! ...it is snowy and dreary and cold, here! !

My nephew has seizures.
He'll do really well then have a string of grand mal seizures and it knocks him back 10 years

I hope it gets less dreary for you soon inzane. My weekend isn't going to horribly. Hubby just went back to his moms for the next week of work *sigh* I already miss him. but my dad just moved back home so I'm going to have his company at least which will be wonderful. I'm a little tired at the moment. I feel like i've been non stop working. But my dad at least is going to be able to help me figure out my diet and do a better job with it.
