Not everyone is fluid - I probably shouldn't have said that. I should have said the majority of people have a fluid sexuality. Either way it doesn't make it wrong. You know yourself the best. <3 Nothing wrong either way. :) you're you, that's all that matters.
I think I'll have to accept my sexuality as something fluid.
That reminds me, I really, really want to attend the SlutWalk this year. :O
I've never done anything like that before, but stopping Rape Culture is something I'm very passionate about. That's why I'm working with a charity in my state that helps stop sex trafficking. I hate rape and I hate how society likes to blame the victims and make it out to be their fault. :(
I know, I need to get a backbone and stop letting people do whatever they want to me just so that they'll stay with me.
If someone can't accept what you will and won't accept in your relationship... they don't deserve you, and if you feel the need to do something you are not comfortable with... that is NOT ok, at all. :( If someone can't accept things that you aren't comfortable with... you shouldn't be with them in the first place.
Yeah, I definitely need to work on that! It's hard, though. I am a really needy, clingy person. I honestly would do anything to have someone tell me they like me. Or even just have them tell me that they kinda tolerate me. I got into a lot of trouble in the past because of that.
Haha, Amane. Your chicken is probably hiding because it doesn't want to get eaten.
I can understand that, I used to be that way with my ex - I would do anything to keep him happy, but that's not a healthy relationship, at all. I know how hard it can be. As I've experienced that myself. It got me into trouble - real bad trouble. I just don't want to see anyone else have to go through what I've gone through.
I'm still clingy, just not nearly as much. Haha, although ask my hubby and he'd disagree with that, although I don't hear him complaining. :P
Yeah I did te same thin with my "ex". >>
I do the same with friends most of the time. If they want to do something or go somewhere and I dot want to go, I usually just go anyway because I want them to still be my friend.
I'm in a totally messed up predicament now because I do the same thing with my parents. I think I mentioned this before, I'm working with a charity to stop sex trafficking and the owner of the charity wants me to help with a production that the chairity's choir is going to do about sex trafficking, and the owner was like,
"Hey, we can start it off with a depiction of a girl being sexually abused at home, in her own bed and then we'll show how it ties in to sex trafficking."
And I'm like, "Yeah, that sounds like a great idea, I'd love that!"
But in reality, I really, really DON'T want to do that. I'm all for them doing a production like that, but I want NO part of it because it hits too close to home. I know it'd be really bad for me if I did it.
Amane, I knew you were talking about a cooked chicken!
Poor chicken. :(
Then you need to speak up and let them know that... you can't be a part of that because of what's going on.. You need to learn to speak up for yourself!! You shouldn't agree to things like that if you want to not be a part of something like that. :/ Yes it's for a good cause, but if it makes it too hard for you mentally, you need to learn to stand up for youself and say "No, I'm sorry, I can't do that or be a part of that idea."
Ohhh, Amane.
We can always talk about peace and love too! Have you ever tried a sage smudge? It's awesome for Watson off evil spirits and it makes your home smell amazing!
That's awesome, Cloudy. :)
My dad was the one parent in my family that cared about organic and natural things. My mom was the opposite haha. Recently my entire family (me, my mom and dad) have been eating all organic and natural, non-GMO foods. :)
I love it when parents raise their children on organic and natural food! It's good to get in those habits when you're young because it's hard to break the habit of unhealthy eating. I hope to raise my own future children with organic and natural things. I also want them to have cloth diapers and I'm already a lactivist, I guess.
Oh yes, Moonlit.
I know I definitely need to talk to the owner about my involvement in the charity. As much as I love the cause, I need to put my own health first.
That's cool that you're getting into that - all of you!
My brother, when he was a baby (he's now almost 22) - what mom would give him to teeth on was veggies from our garden. :P Like Zucchinis. And I was raised wearing cloth diapers. Although I highly doubt that they had the disposables when I was a baby and cloth was was the only way to go. :P
I'M DYING BECAUSE YOUR AUTOCORRECT GOT YOU AND YOU SAID WATSON INSTEAD OF WARDING.
I haven't tried anything like that because my parents would tell me I'm insane. I'm not ready to handle the image it would give them of me. I can't dabble in herbs and crystals. However, I don't have to tell anyone anything to do yoga or meditate or talk to spirit guides or lots of other fun mind-body-spirit things.
Dressing like a hippie is an ambition of mine. So many colors. So much jewelry. Sometimes hippie outfits look fantasy. It's beautiful. *o*
That's really awesome, Cloudie! I want to be like your mom when I become a mom. :)
Hahahaha!! Amane! My autocorrect is horrible! XD
Well, I'm glad you saw passed that stupid autocorrect mistake lol. You can always say you're doing the sage smudge for good luck or something? Maybe tell them you just like the smell?
You should go on a spirit quest, Amane! That's what I'm going to do once I move to California. I'm going to go to Joshua's Tree and find my spirit animal.
Haha, just as long as you're not like my grandma! She was worse than my mom - I won't say what she did, as it was kind of disgusting, but haha... yeah! :P
She made my mom and her siblings eat cow brain ice cream when they were younger. Bleh!! No thanks!
