Mama Ava says,
"Hey, Ava! Let's go vegan, it'll be so much fun!"
I'm scared. D:
How can I drink tea without milk!?!?!??,!?'

What kind of tea do you drink? The only tea I've had with milk is rose tea. I wasn't a big fan of all the rose taste, though.

Being vegan is probably so healthy, but I love milk. And cheese. D:
I drink Yorkshire tea. Pure deliciousness. A proper brew indeed.
I am addicted to it, sometimes I drink up to two or three 32oz cups a day!
It's my favorite drink and helps keep me from overeating because I'm so full up on tea I don't crave food.
I'm scared I'll get fat when I go vegan.

My support style is more "you haven't had dairy? Good girl" and then "you had dairy, huh? Punishment."

What does Yorkshire tea taste like?
I couldn't go dairy-free. I love cheese too much.
My husband said he tried going vegan years before we got together after seeing a video of animals being slaughtered, but he didn't last very long. He said it was expensive, and he missed meat.

That support style works for me.
Haha, Pisces! I don't even want cheeseburgers anymore~
I'm already vegetarian, so you'd think it wouldn't be too hard to go vegan, but I love milk and cheese! And eggs! And honey!!!
Yorkshire tea tastes like really, really amazing coffee, but it doesn't taste like coffee. It's much smoother and not bitter like coffee. It's a black tea, made perfect with just a bit of milk and no sugar.

you're more right than you could possibly know. a 'thing' can't be vegan, because veganism is a state of mind, not a type of food (which is why you see 'suitable for vegans' on food labels). you get dietary vegans, who refrain from consuming any and all animal products (meat eggs dairy products and other animal-derived substances), ethical vegans who not only follow a vegan diet but extend the philosophy into other areas of their lives (eg; opposing the use of animals for any purpose) and environmental vegans who avoid animal products completely (on the premise that the harvesting or industrial farming of animals is environmentally damaging and unsustainable). if I was the kinda guy who had to put a label on things, I would say that Ava's pretty close to qualifying somewhere between the first two. but I'm not, so I won't.

*sips some unsweetened almond milk*
Hm, well... Not too bad.
Now if I can get it in my tea without cringing!
---------- Post added 07-29-2015 at 12:47 PM ----------
Oh, Menelaus!
That makes so much sense. I'd be vegan if I didn't love milk and eggs so much!
It's an adjustment to get unsweetened almond milk and agave nectar instead of milk and honey.

I can imagine your mind being like that, uniformedly abstract with pulsing lights and flashing images of fluffy blue bunnies singing K-pop anthems. Tron is pixel art to the Nth power, and then some. I prefer the original, but the newer one answers all the unanswered questions, crosses all the uncrossed Ts, and dots all the undotted dots. so many movies/anime/manga/etc have taken inspiration from the franchise's digitised world-set, too many to list here without boring alot of people (I was almost tempted to say "but I'll try anyway," but I won't.
lol, that Clyde, "the pink avenger rides again!!" now that's a blog worthy exploit, if I've ever seen one. you should patent the idea before anybody catches on.
I would never have thought of using agave nectar, I'll have to give it a try. I could live without milk, don't like the stuff anyway, except in tea or coffee, oh, and in cereal, but I'd have issues giving up milk based products like cheese and.. well, just cheese really, I already substitute butter with margarine. but what would you use instead of eggs? so many products rely on the usage of eggs in their recipe. but mostly, I LOVE EATING MEAT!! can't get enough of the stuff. couldn't live off a solely meat based diet, fruit veg grain and pulses (legume) cry out too me when I neglect them for too long, but eating meat leaves me awash with a state of euphoric manliness *beats chest and swings through the trees* I'd make a poor excuse for a vegan *^^*

My philosophy is that life is too short to not eat what I enjoy...in moderation, of course.
If eating food that doesn't suit my desires makes me live longer, then I'll have longer to wish I could eat more yummy food.
If eating meat and cheese and sugar is gonna make me die young, at least I enjoyed what I was eating before I go!
We have a friend who is gluten intolerant, and he can't eat anything but meat and plain veggies and fruit...no sauces, cakes, cookies, cereal....
I can't imagine life without cake and ice cream!
I believe that bananas can be substituted for eggs in some cases....there's a cooking show on the public broadcasting station that caters to the gluten free vegan....it's called "The Jazzy Vegetarian." Maybe episodes are available on YouTube.... The food looks really enticing when it's finished...considering the ingredients that went in! (No meat, no eggs....everything is organic.)
Honey is good for what ails ya! ...it has antibiotic capabilities....How can honey not be vegan? All it is is bee puke! Lol!
