Dang it, Dazz! I almost successfully opened a portal to Botswana. Think of the airfare and Range Rover tires that could have been saved.
The "snow" was actually ice that someone dumped there either from an ice chest or from the store. I ended having the chocolate mousse which was quite good and had some sort of crunchy ingredient like a cookie portion in it.
And Sprite with a splash of grenadine is always good. I like to order this whenever I am dining where there is a bar.

The portal is a good idea, but has some bugs. That leopard was about ready to spring through.
Went to trader Joes. Had the mini Joe sample and tiny pumpkin bread.
It's supposed to be dwali. An Indian holiday. Want to Google it and see what it's about.

Good thing you put the kabash to that. Can't have any leaping leopards pouncing through portals.
Started me new job today. Easy day. All I had to do was take the tank to be rinsed out. Picking up a load of milk tomorrow then heading to the Texas panhandle.
The puppy in question is Ginger. She's so easily excited and will pee herself.

Happy Weekend, Everybody!
(I made 2 attempts to post 2 different, detailed posts, the other day...and my phone ate them BOTH!....so, we will see how it goes THIS time!)
It snowed enough to be plowed, Wednesday.....So, the BF took the plow truck to the Dog Guy's house to plow his drive...
I think that truck hates the Dog Guy's house...cuz every time he takes it there, it dies and threatens to not start again!
Wednesday was no exception...
He did get it started and stopped at the store on the way home.....It started right back up at the store!!
When he got home, he was going to plow the neighbor lady's drive....but the plow motor died....dead!....needs replacing!
I swear that that truck has been a thorn in my side ever since the day I bought it for the BF!
...transfer case problems, fuel pump problem, bad tires, sticking brakes, bad batteries....plus we still have not been able to register the truck to get license plates...cuz the previous owners signed the back of the title wrong....and at least one of the previous owners is dead....and the other is unfindable....
I would be happy to watch this particular truck go across the scrap scale....but the BF is in love..
Far be it for me to break up THAT love/hate relationship!! Lol!
I think that the Dog Guy will buy a new plow motor for him...For, the Dog Guy depends on the BF to plow his drive...since plowing the drive is a condition of Dog Guy's rent.
The BF is still working a 6 day work schedule...though he took a day off when his back went out...
He is still walking funny, but he has been putting in full days of lifting tires and putting them on cars and trucks!
No, Dazzy,...he never lifted weights...but he did attempt to lift the tongue of a car trailer, when he was a teenager, and I think that was the beginning of his back problems...
Now, his back will go out suddenly and unexpectedly...sometimes causing him to fall to the ground where he stands!
And, OF COURSE he has never been to a doc or a chiropractor for it...
The first time it went out (10 years or so ago) gained him an ambulance ride to the ER...where they shoved pills at him and sent him home....no xrays...and he had to walk to a bus stop to get home! ....the didn't even provide him with a cane to help him walk!
He was pretty disgusted...cuz he felt like they treated him like a drug-seeker and dismissed his injury!
I think that is what keeps him from having it evacuated and treated, now...the fear that they will just push more pills at him and cost him money he doesn't have....
So, he just waits for it to get better on its own.
While he is "waiting," I am destined to do all the work at home...
I have to do all the lifting of Sarah...and remember that I can't ask him to do little, incidental things for me, cuz he moans and whines and takes sooo long to do anything.....I just do it all, myself, and get it DONE!
I am POOPED!
Hope will be spending the night with her parents, tonite.
I love that little girl with all my heart and soul...but a night "off" is a welcome respite!
She is a "live wire!"...keeping me busy and on my toes at all times!
Her current passions are playing with water in the bathroom sink, playing with play doh, and pretending...
She pretends that different cartoon characters knock on the door and come to visit...They eat snacks, play with toys and "jump in (pretend) muddy puddles....and do a lot of pretend cooking!
She has a very creative imagination!...and she is forever telling me "Look, Grandma! See?"
It is difficult to get other stuff done while "looking" and "seeing!" Lol!
Well....I think I'll be fortunate if I get this posted...if my phone doesn't eat it....
I gotta get stuff done before Hope's parents come to pick her up....
I hope to come back later....
Have a good Saturday, folks!! !

Gosh, we are messy pink partiers! Lol!
Mr. Wrong, I'm not even sure what the new CI's are....I'll have to have a looksee.
I am trying to talk the BF into seeing a chiropractor for his back...
Of course, we can't afford it right now...but I think it would be worth trying to save enough money for an evaluation by a good chiropractor.
Maybe by the time we have some extra cash, I will have worn him down and he will actually go! Lol!
So....you are hauling milk to Texas?
The BF wants to know....isn't there dairy cows in Texas?....why do they need to ship milk to Texas?
I told him...so Mr.Wrong can have a nicer job! Lmao!
Ohhhhh Dazzy! How was your weekend?
With cooler temperatures coming, your days of rinsewater irrigation should be done for the year....yes?
More time for naps and pink dreams! Lol!
I am eagerly awaiting stories about Mr.X's friends...the Hippie Guy and the Preacher Man....the 3 of them, together, must be entertaining!
Hey, Capt! Has the weather turned cold at your house, yet?
We are expecting a major snow storm tonite....up to a foot of snow in the next 48 hours!
I hope its all done and melting away by Thursday....cuz that's the day I go get my boobs smashed! ....oh joy! Lol!
I hope everybody's week has kicked off in fine fashion! Big [hugs] & !

Y'know, Dazzy....you prolly have something there!
First of all, the truck is a FORD...then, its a diesel....he has always wanted a diesel, but hasn't had much experience working on one...
And he has declared that he believes that the harder he has to work to make this truck right, the better it will treat him in the long run..
IT'S NOT A PUPPY, for crimeny sake!! It's a friggin' money pit!!
But, far be it for ME to break up his love affair! ....maybe he's RIGHT! Lol!
What tornado? I get very limited news, here, with my cranky phone that crashes and forecloses regularly....
I'll have to check out some headlines when the BF gets home from work to provide the iPad with WiFi.
I kinda feel like a starving mushroom.....in the dark & not even getting fed B.S.! Lmao!
Happy Monday, Dazz! !

Tornado? What tornado? I wasn't aware of any tornadoes. I left California two days ago and have delivered in beautiful Dalhart, Texas. Ok, this area isn't so beautiful. It's total Dullsville around here. I'm in Clovis, New Mexico right now awaiting tractor repairs. These stupid Intertrashionals are always breaking down. Yesterday, while at the consignee, I heard this grumbling grindy sound coming from the engine. I popped open the hood and could immediately see that the a/c compressor wasn't spinning in time with the pulley. Then I also saw an oil leak coming from the oil filler tuber that I told the guys in Turlock to fix, but they obviously didn't. I'm thinking now that the shop manager there is lazy and needs to retire.
Anyway, we truckers love to complain. It's what we live for. The load of milk I hauled from Turlock to Dalhart was for the Hilmar Cheese company. Central California is cow country. Farms for as far as the eye can see. I don't know for sure, but Hilmar's cheese producing plant must be at their facility I delivered to in Dalhart. And you may ask yourself, why doesn't Hilmar simply import milk from the surrounding dairy farms that are so plentiful in the Texas panhandle rather than all the way from California? Well, that I do not know.
And Izzy, I believe chiropractors are a scam. I went to one in 1990 or 1991 for a pinched nerve near my right shoulder blade. It hurt like a bugger. When I arrived at the doctor's office, I was examined and "treated". The doctor didn't even touch the affected area and I didn't feel any better when I left the office. While there, the quack doctor showed me an x-ray of my neck, which looked fine, and then he showed me another x-ray of a textbook perfect neck that was perfectly opposite of the x-ray of my neck. I was dumbfounded. How could it be that my neck was the exact opposite of how a neck should be? Wouldn't that cause me pain? Wouldn't I look deformed or disfigured?
I thought and thought about this and came to the not-so startling conclusion the either my neck was fine or that the quack doctor didn't know how to interpret an x-ray correctly. Otherwise, if my neck were the shape he said it was then I could comfortably rest the back of my neck between my shoulder blades. Maybe then I could spin my head around like that girl in The Exorcist movie or I could travel the country as a circus freak.
Either way, my neck felt fine before that doctor visit and it feels fine twenty five years later. And the only x-ray he took was of my neck and NOT my back where the pain was. Tell me if that makes any sense.

Interesting take on your chiropractor visit, Mr w! The tornado was in Stanislaus county, your stompin grounds.
Cap, is Sandy a type of dog? Is it like the orphan Annie one?
Yesterday I got the armless clerk at the store. Both arms gone up to elbow. I had seen him dropping groceries into the bag. I didn't want to be in his line, but he pulled me out of line into his. I was busy unloading cart so I couldn't see what he was doing till later. I wanted some cash back and wondered how hed get it. He has no apparatus on the stumps. But he got it. And he was polite. Usually I let them bag for me, but I helped this guy out. It Is amazing he got this job.
I meandered over to the donut section. In my absence they had gone up from 50 to 79 cents. Still a bargain. But I passed them by.
Yes izzy, I've stopped the rinse watering. Its showering periodically now. Still might do Mr xs flowers. They're under covered porch. Take pain pill before boob smash test?
Back to pink salt mines. Tally ho!

I hadn't heard of a tornado touchdown in California. Never heard of an armless grocery store checker, either.
I'll bet he can easily get onto any bus in Great Britain. The driver will take one look at him and say, "Get on board. You look armless enough."

Mr.Wrong.....ya made me squirt coffee out my nose!
That's a funny one!
No, Dazzy...I don't do pain pills.....and the pain that occurs during smashing is usually short lived.
I'll smoke a little extra pot before I go....I'll be fine!
It just amazes me how thin they can smash a boob without causing damage!!
I think that the visual is more painful to watch than the actual smashing!
Mark today as a Happy Day for me!
I received an annual disbursement check from the Indian Agency!
We can pay off that car the BF has been making payments on....prolly making the seller a happy guy, just before Christmas!
We can pay off the power bill and the phone bill and the trash service....even give the Landlord the $90 we have owed him for 2 months!....and put some food in the cupboards....do some laundry!!!!.....and even have a little left over for Christmas!
Whew!
It has been a long time comin'!!....and it will be gone faster than I will expect...But, TODAY, I can breathe a little easier and things don't feel so dismal!
....and TODAY is all that counts, right now!
There was a veritable blizzard outside, last night!
Blowing snow....lights flickering....
Today, the sky is blue and the sun is intensified by the white drifts of snow...
Lots of "muddy puddles,"....if only Hope owned some waterproof boots!
*adds muddy-puddle-jumping-boots to the list of possible purchases*
Well....I just wanted to stop in and share my good news!
I still have tons of daily chores that are calling my name...
Sadly, a financial windfall will not, in itself, make the house clean, wash the dishes or clean the toilet....
I better go get busy!
Happy Tuesday, everybody!! & !

Hey, Dazzy.....How is Thursday treating ya?
I got that Smash Test happening this afternoon....
Of COURSE it didn't snow so I could cancel! Lol!
The fact that the BF will have to take off early from work is more my concern than anything, actually.
I admire his desire to want to stay as long as he can...not to get his hours in, but because he knows that the other guys, at work, will be swamped with work when he leaves....he hates leaving them short handed.
But, this should be the last time I will need him to take off from work for a while....for I will have a car of my own and I can take Hope and Sarah to Turtles's house for any more upcoming appointments.
We should get the car tomorrow...and if the weather cooperates, Turtles will come up to take Hope for the weekend, but I hope to have her hang out at my house while I get insurance and plates on the car...
I am so super excited to have a car again!!
Hey, Mr. Wrong....thank you for the awesome gifts!
You sure know what this girl likes!
Hope has been hogging the iPad, so I haven't got to play with my new items, yet....
Capt....the Dog Guy has a dog that looks like your Sandy dog....her name is Cinnamon...I think she is Shi Tsu & Pekinese mix....
Your Sandy dog holds a striking resemblance to her!
I bet she appreciates your kindness as the cold weather creeps closer!
It would be nice if your landlord had a change of heart about pets!
Well, folks....I gotta jump into the bathtub before my window of opportunity slams shut....
Hope just LOVES to "help" me take a bath!....leaving the bathroom door open every time she enters or leaves the bathroom..making me freeze!
I am hoping to get done before she wakes....but she will prolly hear the water and come running!
Wish me luck! Lol!
I hope everybody has a great Friday-eve! !

Friday rears its beautiful head. Been warm lately. Around 70*. Got Chinese takeout. Restaurant must've gotten new chef. Much improved. My favorite was pork fried rice. That white rice gave me a 2 day headache. Not good for diabetic. I can eat my fill of brown rice, but it's not offered. Got a headache massage. She did an eyeball massage, which was rather soothing. Later hit a McDonald's. They're serving brekkie all day now which is great. Had a sausage egg mcmuffin And mocha frappe. Brought Mr x back a mcmuffin, too.
Got a slim lead on the printer. Still not connected.
Trader Joes had new kettle chip flavor. Turkey and gravy flavor. Amazingly good.
Well, izzy the dreaded boob smash test is over. Hope it was bearable. Great you're getting the car soon. Do a wheelie for me!
Heard in Australia some guys made motorized picnic tables. Whee!
