Yes, Dazzy....one smash test complete....
The lady said that my pecks are HUGE!
I told her that I lift my daughter and wash clothes by hand....and when I'm not wearing a bra when I wring out clothes that my boobs rise and fall....so it is no surprise that those muscles are well developed! Lol!
I won't get results from the test for about 4 weeks....they need to get scans from my previous mammogram so they can compare.

I am currently waiting for Hope's mom to drive up the mountain, before the snow comes down, to take Hope for the weekend....leaving me with only Sarah to take with me to buy insurance for our new car...then to get plates!
I will be driving my own, legal car this weekend!
Whoohoo!
I am excited!!

I can't eat McDonalds sausage....it goes right through me....in a hurry!
I used to eat the sausage muffins with mustard on them...but since I had that heart attack and take a 'statin drug every day to keep my cholesterol in check, the sausage makes a quick retreat....so I just avoid it now.
I love the hashbrowns covered in picante sauce.....but I gotta wring the grease out of the potatoes with a few napkins first.
....Yeah....I don't eat out much....for obvious reasons! Lol!

Motorized picnic tables would be convenient!
When the sun moves and ya need more shade, just start up the picnic table and drive it under that big oak tree!
....prolly won't catch on, but it sure would be a conversation starter at the company picnic! Lol!

Well...I think I am going to look into getting a new phone, providing the funds hold out...
A 4G phone to replace my 3G phone....and a Hot Spot so I can provide WiFi for the iPad when the BF isn't home...
I'll be moving up on the conveniences ladder! .....now, if only someone would give me a portable dishwasher and a small washing machine, I would be in Lazy-land!!
....I prolly wouldn't know what to do with myself if I didn't always have chores to do manually!! Lol!

I guess I better start getting stuff ready for my last borrowing of the Dog Guy's car!
....Did I mention how excited I am??!!

I hope everybody has a very fine Friday!! & !

I'm glad everyone liked their gifts. Today I set foot in South Dakota for the first time. And you guessed it, it was snowing. Not a heavy snow, just a thick dusting. I saw a portable message board stating there was to be a snowstorm when I came to Iowa so I prayed that there would be no snowstorm. When I woke up there was snow on the ground, but it was light, manageable, and there were no high winds. So, God answered my prayer. He must like me a little bit.

I had to travel on some crappy back roads that were icy, though. I must have seen a dozen cars that had spun out and ended up alongside of the road stuck in the snow. I saw about four cars that had spun and slid into the median along I-29. What I can't figure out is why the people who live where it snows every winter without fail don't equip their cars with studded tires so that this doesn't happen. At the very least they could put cables on their tires. I know that if I lived in Snowland, I would buy four new rims for my beloved Dodge and put studded tires on them. At first snow I just take Black Betty to the tire shop and change out my regular tires for the studded tires.

And you may ask yourself, the cost? What about the cost? Well, can you afford to slide off the road and risk severe damage to your car or have a collision with another vehicle?

Dang! I'm gettin' all preachy now. Anyway, I'm just glad I didn't slide off the road myself. Thank you, Jesus.

Tomorrow, I will drive through the vast hinterland that is North Dakota and Montana along I-94. When I enter Montana, I will have been to 48 states.

Yay, it's my free day! Mr x just went off to bike with hippy guy. He left me with, that girl, on tv. That's cool. Going to try again to set up printer. Will put in some old binder paper. I'm using up a ream of the good stuff on all my attempts.

Gf got temporary holiday job with Amazon. Theres a warehouse nearby. She's also in line for post office sorting job.

Izzy, what kind of car do you have? It'll be so nice now that you have your own wheels!

Hi Mr w! That's scary, all the wipeouts on the road. So cool you're seeing new states!

Better make pink hay while Mr xs out.

A Post Office sorting job! Woohoo! I would be so cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs!

Pardon my sarcasm. That job sounds juuuuuust a little mundane.
How about a job with the sheriff's department? She could process incoming society's criminal element. Never a dull moment.

I know. Sorting could make you go postal. But shes been out of a job for couple years. Shes open to anything. She used to work at an underwriting job. Don't ask me what that is.

It was wash day. Didn't do the rinse watering so was able to do desky for hours. Just had lucky charms, kix, and pumpkin granola. Mr x has that girl on. Its been on for 2 days. I like to stand at counter eating and reading kindle. Book is 1899 one. About kids summer vacation. They just played rollicking game of protecting the fort. Some abandoned shack, ball ammo of sand and water. Kids 8 to 12. Girls too. Full focus trying to get to fort and grabbing flag. I love the illustrations, too. I like Victorian stories.

Sometimes mundane is good. Odd but true

Hey, folks!
Happy Monday, n stuff!

Dazzy, the car is a 2002 Ford Focus....it has 4 doors and a large trunk....everybody fits inside and nobody has to crawl over Sarah to get in....
It runs well...the BF already replaced the dimmer switch and a heater resister....less than $100 for parts.
There is a transmission/clutch issue that needs investigating....but it drives fine!
Just knowing that I can escape from the mountain, should a need arise, without waiting for somebody else to bring me a car is going to improve emotional perspective....even if I never go anywhere!....just knowing that I CAN means a lot to me!
I no longer feel "trapped!"

Its funny that Turtles and I were discussing, recently, how she and I, both, would do well in factory jobs.....repeated, routine actions....mundane! Lol!
I would do well sorting mail, also! ....but they won't hire me, cuz I can't pass the pee test...
Their loss, actually! ....not many folks enjoy mundane jobs for very long before they go a little kooky!
(I'm already a little kooky!...I've learned how to not let it get the best of me! Lol!)

I had written a long post about my adventures on ice, Friday....but my phone ate it before I could post it!....AGAIN!
It was about how 3 inches of snow caused closed highways and head-on semi-truck accidents....and how I had no problems driving and how I avoided most road closures because I know several detours from the beaten path....
In short....the weather sucked, but I accomplished all my errands and returned home safely.
(That was in the Dog Guy's car! *whew!* ....glad I didn't slide into a ditch in a car that wasn't my own!)

The BF put new snow tires on the Focus...then he tested the ABS system by slamming on the breaks on an ice-covered hill....and the car came to a slow stop....very controlled and amazingly uneventfully!
That's an important asset.....cuz we have lots of wildlife on the highway....ya never know when ya suddenly have a mesmerized deer in your headlights!
It's good to know the car will stop well!

So....the sun is shining today....its not supposed to snow again till Thanksgiving....(also my oldest daughter's birthday)....so I guess we will be travelling "over the mountain and through the woods" to Melba's house we go....in the snow....i
How traditional!! Lol!

Whelp....I got stuff that needs to get done....and nobody else will do it...and it won't do itself....
I guess I better get busy!
I hope everybody is having a great day! !

Your underwriting friend probably worked at an insurance agency or mortgage lender outfit of some kind.

1899 stuff, eh? Are you intrigued by the mystery of Jack the Knife?

I was referring to Jack the Ripper, not Die Moritat von Mackie Messer, the once popular song Mack the Knife.

Hey, Dazzy....and everybody else!
I just wanted to stop by, while I have a minute, to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
What are everybody's plans for the holiday?
Mr. Wrong, will you be spending Turkey Day with family?
We plan to brave the snow storm, in our newly purchased car, down the mountain to my oldest daughter's house.
I am somewhat relieved to know that we will be leaving Hope with her parents for an extended weekend visit....so she won't be in the car with us for the trip home.....just in case something bad were to happen.
Our high temperature for Thanksgiving is supposed to be 16 degrees! ....then 14 degrees on Friday!
At least the heater in the car works well! ....there are even ports that blow heat under the front seat and into the floor of the back seat!...which is super nice for Sarah!

Well...everyone enjoy the holiday! May your blessings be many...and the food be tasty! !

Time to catch up here! This past weekend the swat team invaded our fair town. A 22 yr guy killed his Gf a couple towns over. He ditched his car in our town in a public garage. It was near a clinic. They had to search each room. I saw pic of them, like half dozen. Just like you see on tv. Earlier I had been napping and kept hearing planes. Got on web to see what's up. Well, he seemed to have escaped. Then Sunday Mr x said he heard helicopters. The guy had returned to his rents house in next city. They used a flash bang grenade to bring him out. Very unfortunate story. He had hurt her before. She had restraining order too.

So I got my printer about a month ago. Been trying to get it to work. I don't have a pc so have to set it up wirelessly. This printer has love and hate rating. Well, I got it to print photos! I was so stoked. Now need it to print downloads from web, like tax forms.

Been cold lately. House goes down to 52* then furnace kicks in. So inefficient tho. This wall heater. It doesn't go into the rooms. We use an electrical heat dish which is so yummy, but it doesn't disperse either. You have to sit within its range.

Folks starting to put lights up. Mr x will bring white tree down soon. Its my job to decorate it.

Going to hofbrau with Mr go tomorrow. He goes on safari to Tanzania later this month. I have these pesky old coins. Keep tripping over box. He wants to buy some. Sold him the '43 steel pennies. Think there was 1916 penny. Next is the Indian head nickels. Coins are interesting, I guess. But we have thieves in town.

Izzy, I looked up the focus. Nice, big, comfy car! Glad bf getting it tuned up. And its good you know how to drive in wintry conditions. You got your wheels back:)

Mr w, yes Gf worked in some insurance company. She just finished couple holiday days at Amazon warehouse. Collecting orders. Wrestling 50# bags of dog food. And all the stuff found in warehouses.

No, not into gory stories. I read a few lately. They came highly rated. They were spectacularly mesmerizing, but gross. It tarnishes my shiny pink id. Have to scrub mind clean with innocent stuff. Been reading Sherlock. Its murder mystery, but not that gratuitous.

Cap, that's great news about Sandy. Such a cutie!

Cows graze at night? Wow.

Well time for a small cereal snack then to bed.

Cheerio, friends!

---------- Post added 12-01-2015 at 10:47 PM ----------

Just had the cereal. Mixed kix and trix. Hadn't checked box carefully. When I poured, found they were Mini trix. How novel.

That's quite the crime saga, there Dazz. Worst I see are fender benders alongside the road.

Not only were the cows I saw grazing at night, but this was around 4 am when I saw them chowing down. I guess that yummy grass is simply irresistible at any given hour of the day or night. As the Chik-Fil-A cows say, "Feed yur herd. Sav ours."
