Someone becomes more beautiful when they do beautiful things for the world.
Like, helping children in Africa, or speaking out against rape culture, or planting trees.
Well, I'm glad you're not bitter, Menelaus.
Today is a weird day.

And Tom Hiddleston is a feminist.
I mean, feminism is so beautiful.
no, I was merely highlighting that liking something for beauty's sake is a shallow act in general, which I promptly followed with a 'seriously though' before making my true point. how could you think that it was directed towards you when you made it clear why you like beautiful people in your previous statement. my comments were generalized observations of the topic, not individual points made during the conversation. if my random comments offended anyone, tough tittie. I'm allowed to have a viewpoint just as much as anyone else is. nobody has to agree with it, just as I don't have to agree with anybody else's viewpoint. that's how points of view work. I said nothing derogative, sexist, racist, or discriminative whatsoever, I merely hit on the subject of beauty and beautiful people. is there anything wrong with that?
I still feel like I just stopped biting my nails, so I let them grow as long as they will. I'm amazed every time and sad when they break.
Grown-up medicine tastes terrible. Swallowing pills isn't in my programming, so I take them crushed-up. It's just as nasty as liquid grown-up medicine.
ewww, crushing it just defeats the purpose of the foul taste protecting coating, but I suppose its that or swallow it whole (like the rest of the world). guess it works either way, so kudos
anyways, finger nails (yes, a great big massively ginormous wall of informative text is coming up, but I've hidden the majority of it neatly behind spoiler walls, so deal with it, I need gold too) are primarily made of protein, so all people should aspire to have healthy nails, because healthy nails show that your body is healthy. following are some handy tips to ensure your nails are healthy:
Only Look If You Really Want To KnowX
Drink lots of water.
Eat a healthy diet.
Eat lots of raw vegetables and fresh fruits to provide vitamins, minerals and enzymes needed for your nails.
Eat foods rich in calcium and phosphorus like fresh carrot juice for strengthening your nails.
Eat broccoli and onions to get sulfur and silicon.
Eat adequate proteins that helps in building new and strong nails. Brewer’s yeast contains all the needed nutrients high in protein.
Eat soy, brewer’s yeast and whole grains.
Avoid putting your hands in water for long time.
Avoid immersing the hands in strong detergent.
As I said before, our nails tells our general state of health. If we are in poor health condition is reflected in our nails.
Nail Problems, Causes and RemediesX
Symptom = Cause/Deficiency; Remedy
Dry nails = Deficiency of vitamin A and calcium; Eat foods rich in calcium and Vitamin A.
Split nails = Deficiency of hydrochloric acid; Drink juice of half a lemon in warm water in the morning.
Hangnails = Deficiency of an essential fatty acid; Put vitamin E oil or aloe vera directly on nail.
White spots= Deficiency of zinc, thyroid malfunction and hydrochloric acid deficiency.
White bands on the nails = Deficiency of protein; Eat foods high in protein
White nails = Slight chance of liver problems; go see your doctor
White spots on nails = Deficiency of zinc; Eat food rich in zinc such as nuts, root vegetables, shellfish. Take 25 mg of elemental zinc
Pale nails, thin, brittle, ridged, and easily cracked or broken nails = iron deficiency; Eat more iron rich foods such as green vegetables, blackstrap molasses, whole grain, cereals, beets, beans, soybeans, pumpkins, avocados, peaches, pears, watercress, almonds, raisins, prunes, dates, eggs, etc.
Fragile nails, with horizontal and vertical ridges = Deficiency of vitamin A and B; Eat food rich in vitamin A and B such as poultry, seafood and whole grains.
If you have cracking or soft nails, take gelatine capsules or one teaspoon of powdered gelatine in a glass of water or juice daily for one month (but I guess a hello intensive diet would do produce the same result)
Fungus under nails = Deficiency of friendly bacteria lactobacillus; Eat More Yogurt
Thick, distorted nails = fungus and/or vitamin deficiency; Apply tea tree oil. Avoid all foods containing refined carbohydrates. Apply crushed raw garlic or honey.
No moons on all of our finger nails = Sign of poor protein intake/poor metabolism: Eat foods high in protein such as dairy foods, beans, lentils, tofu, meat, fish, chicken, eggs, etc
finally, here's the science bit (or atleast somewhere you can find the science bit
Home Remedies Mother Nature
(not sure what happened to the second link, possible deleted? so you'll have to do with the 'ad hoc' views of the first )
no, I don't know that (mainly because I relinquished my power of telepathy that time when I saved a small enclave of sewer rats from my arch nemesis, Backwash the Undrained), but that's not why I did what I did. apparently, you're not the only one who dislikes my grandiose walls of informative text, so I've decided that, while I refuse to stop posting them (as it my right as a member of the Menewshan community), I will not force others to see their content. its called 'compromise'
well then there's no longer a problem. any who would like to live their existence blissfully ignorant can do so without my interference, and I can continue to be longwindedly informative without them constantly pointing out their chagrin of it
