Explosions are pretty dramatic and that can be theatrical violence. Even movies use explosions.

I think that's kind of like wordplay but I'm not sure.

I prefer violent words. They sound really scary, but they make me feel better.

I compared something to that in my writing at one point. I'm pretty ashamed of that old writing now, so I won't say what it was.

Sometimes it seems like my earliest work was better. It wasn't written that well, but the events were good. I guess it's because you do whatever you want in the beginning and haven't experienced failure and been discouraged.
