I have books stowed away in every cranny and nook of my house, and usually read six at the same time

How does that even work? Your eyes must be screaming in agony.

lol, not all six in one sitting, that would be crazy, I don't have nearly enough laps for that. I mean that I have six books on the go, switching between them as the mood takes me. of course, I'm not including books I use to study with, only the books I read for recreation

No, definitely six all at the same time in one sitting.

I read one at a time, preferably in one sitting. And I certainly never let a book go unread. Unless, of course, it's part of a series that isn't finished. I don't like waiting, so I don't even start until it's over.

Sometimes, I did enjoy playing games until freaking dawn. Those were fun times.

my favourite series to date, is 'The First Law' trilogy. if you haven't had the opportunity to read them yet, then I suggest you do, or forever be in peril of having an incomplete life

is that not the norm then? playing games until the break of dawn, I mean. most of the gamers with which I play online live several time zones away, and being so close to Greenwich time zero, its usually wake up time for me when they're preparing their pyjamas ready for beddy-bye's

I could still do that. But I'm not fond of seeing dawn when I haven't slept.

In some turn-based strategy games, it can be. Just! ONE! MORE! TURN!!!!

I don't like sleeping... but then once I'm comfortable and asleep, I love it!
My mind is like, *during the day* "I just want to go home and sleep!"
Then, *during the night* "Why can't I just stay awake all night?!"

Movies to watch: THE Legend Of Bagger Vance. its almost as if Will Smith was born to play the role of the mystic wise man/golf caddy who helps Matt 'boring' Daimon to find his swing, in this quaint and heartwarming tale, that is by far one of Smith's best acting performance ever. withh an all star cast, and what is possibly the most entertaining game of golf I have ever seen, I gladly give this movie a magical ten out of ten for entertainment value, and three whole thumbs up for nostalgia's sake

God I haven't seen that movie in years but I do recall enjoying it. Cant say that there is a movie that I haven't enjoyed from Will Smith except that 1 he starred in with his son Jaden. His son does not have the talent of his father & I hope he gets with an acting coach before appearing on the silver screen again.

Quote:
A husband and wife and their two sons are watching TV. She looks at her husband and winks at him, he gets the message and says, “Excuse us for a few minutes boys, we’re going up to our room for a little while.”

Pretty soon one of the boys becomes curious, goes upstairs and sees the door to his parents bedroom is ajar. He peeks in for a few minutes, trots downstairs, gets his little brother and takes him up to peek into the bedroom.

“Before you look in there,” he says, “keep in mind this is the same woman who smacked our asses just for sucking our thumbs.”

oh I don't know, he wasn't soooo bad in the new Karate Kid movie. of course, he did have the the high kicking clowntics of Jackie Chan to bounce off of. but the kids young, and his dad's a bazillionaire, so I'm sure that he'll get the 'anti-robotic' acting training, which he most desperately needs, sometime soon

lol, Fire, that sounds like a definite case for the social services, for more reasons than one

lol, you know, the surest way to help a person to overcome a phobia is to make them confront their fear,

Danger! Only Open If Your Absolutely SureX

so we're going to indiscriminately hide six creepy crawlies around your room while you sleep

its worth a watch, even if only to see Chan's homage to his 'drunken master' days. lol, Baby Smith is just part of the price to pay for the privilege

lol, its nothing visual. though, sometimes, a fistful of words can paint a more convincing picture, so you'd probably be better off not knowing

@My Friends; how's Sunday been treating you all?

hmmmn, the next post is the one thousandth (not too shabby considering we've only been open about two and a half weeks) I guess, as seems to be in keeping with colloquial custom, that I should dole out some form of trophy prize. how does one thousand golds sound? (say 'clink clink,' I dare you) lol, that's one gold for every post made in the thread, so make it a good'n. oh, and ping me a reminder too, that Aimie hasn't spread the goss my way in an age
ps; the prize will only go to someone who has posted atleast once previously in this thread, so the golds will be passed over until someone who has does
