It didn't surprise him that Lex didn't want him helping with the dishes. Sighing softly, Jesse headed to his room and got dressed for bed. Laying under the covers, he wondered what the girls were up to. She had said she'd come back, when though? He tried not to think about it too much and closed his eyes, falling to sleep easily. The next morning, he took a shower and got dressed for the day. When he came to the living room, he noticed Lex was working on coffee. "Good morning. Sleep well?" Jesse asked him.

Faida had been spending time with Justice, practicing their fighting techniques. She was having a lot of fun actually even though she missed Lex terribly. She knew the maker would want to talk to her later though, and she would be ready to speak to him. She just hoped she did the right thing.

Lex looked at Jesse as he smiled. " Oh good your finally up. I already called the Sheriff and I'm taking a leave of absence for a few weeks to think things through with you. I already got us a house at the beach and everything packed except your clothing and your things. So I need you to pack that so we can go see Nancy get some food to go and head out. There is no need for us to sit around here and mope about. The girls have never lied to us so when they can they will be back. Since their angels I'm sure they will know where to find us." He said as pouring Jesse a cup of coffee and handing it to him. "As for your question no not at all. This town is fully of memories of them and I don't want to be around it right now unless they are here."

Radiance waited as she trembled inside. She knew the maker could just kill her if he wanted to. However she knew he wouldn't without good cause. She could see he was in deep thought about the matter. However the more she waited the more she thought about Jesse and it made her smile. The maker turned his eyes to her as he watched her and softly smiled himself. He laughed witch echoed through the heavens as he stared at her. He summoned Faida and wanted to hear what she had to say before he let Radiance know his answer to her plee.

Jesse frowned as he listened to him but nodded, "Understood. I'll pack up now." He said and took his coffee before walking to his room and pakin up the things that he felt he would need in a beach house. Clothes, his toothbrush and toothpaste, his car keys, and anything else he could think of. He put his glasses on and grabbed his cellphone before walking out with his suitcase full of his belongings. "All packed up." He said to Lex as he finished up his coffee and smiled. Lex was right, they needed to get away from this house and just clear their heads from all that had happened.

Faida was practicing with Justice when she was summoned. Quickly, she said bye and flew over to the Maker. "H-hello..." She said nervously. She knew what she was going to say, but she was still nervous around the maker because he could easily send her away to a terrible place or kill her if he wished to. Looking over at Radiance, she smiled softly and looked back at the maker as she waited for him to speak.

Lex nodded as he grabbed his cup off coffee and walked around the house making sure everything was locked and off. He then headed out to his truck taking Jesse's suitcase and put it in the back of his truck. He made sure that everything was secure. He hopped into the truck as he waited for Jesse. "So what would you want from the dinner? I'm thinking about getting something to go so we can get to the beach by lunch." He said so Jesse could hear.

Radiance smiled warmly happy to see her friend again. In all honesty Faida felt more like a sister. Radiance had wanted to see her but the other angels had been doing their best to keep her busy. She knew it was out of love they just wanted her happy and felt if she stayed busy she wouldn't miss earth as much as she did. She walked over to Faida's side and gently took her hand and smiled at her friend. "It's ok he just wants to know how do you feel. I told him that I wanted to go back to Jesse. I'm not being ungrateful but my heart isn't here anymore. He said that he wished to here what you had to say." Radiance said softly as she looked to the maker who nodded in agreement.

Jesse followed Lex out of the house to the truck and got in and buckledhis seatbelt. "I like the chicken wraps with chipotle sauce. Very healthy and delicious." Jesse answered. He didn't eat them all the time though, but they were something he enjoyed eating from time to time. The beach, he hadn't been to the beach in years, mostly because he had no one to go with and because he didn't have the time to go since he was always working. Now that he had some vacation time though, it felt odd to not be at work like he normally would be.

Faida nodded and looked at the maker. "Well..." She started and sighed softly. "I enjoy being home with Justice and my friends...but I miss him. I miss Lex very much. I know I belong here in grace, but I want to be with him. I have grown to care very much for Lex, and I will always care for him just as he cares for me. He has been nothing but kind and I cannot just walk away from him." Faida explained softly.

Lex smiled as he heard Jesse. He drove to the dinner and got out as he thought about his own order. He walked in as he greeted Nancy. Nancy looked thrilled to see them. He looked over the menu as he told Nancy about their plan to go to the beach. He asked her to fix them some extra food for the road and deserts and of course drinks. Lex paid for the extra even though Nancy protested. He smiled as he chose two bacon egg and cheese biscuits for himself to eat then along with a glass of milk. Lex was looking forward of the beach. He hadn't been in a very long time.

Radiance stood by Faida as they where lead back outside so the Maker could talk. Radiance smiled as she looked at Faida. " I'm sure everything will be fine. I hope that we get to go back soon. I miss the guys and our home." Radiance said as she smiled and then frowned as she looked to her wings. " I'll miss here but I would rather do date night with our friends." Radiance said as she looked at Faida.

Jesse smiled when he saw Nancy and placed his small order. "Sounds like you two will be having fun. Don't be gone too long though, it's always a treat to see you here you know." Nancy said as she packed them their orders to go. She wasn't too fond of being payed extra but Lex wouldn't take no for an answer it seemed. "Stay safe you two okay? I don't want my favorite boys getting hurt." she commented in a motherly tone and handed them over their orders. "We'll be fine Nancy. We'll be back after a few days, we just need a vacation to clear our heads." Jesse explained.

"Yes, I know it will be fine. I just hope they don't hate us for leaving. Our friends here have missed us and I feel bad just leaving after they have waited so long to get us back here. I shall miss my fighting partner Justice most of all." Faida explained and smiled. "Date night is always fun. I enjoy the pizza very much. I like the various things on the pizza too, an interesting food it is." Faida commented.

Radiance frowned as she heard Faida. Radiance hadn't took her friends feelings here into account. After being on earth so long she had assumed they disowned her for good. Justice was a good friend but she knew he would understand. However even if it hurt she wasn't happy her. Radiance didn't want the power or her job title anymore. All she wanted was to be a normal human girl. Radiance felt conflicted as she looked to the floor a little ashamed of how she felt. "I don't want any of this." She finally admitted as she felt tears starting to fall from eyes. "I am ashamed of myself because the family here loves us. But I'm not happy here. I don't want any of this anymore. I want to be human I want to be with Jesse and Lex. " Radiance admitted.

"I know that it's wrong to feel this way but I am no use here anymore. My heart isn't here my heart is below. I would give up everything to be with him just one more day. " Radiance said as a crowd had gathered hearing what she had said. Justice stepped out from the crowed as he worse a serious face along with two other male arch angles who looked a little hurt looking right at Radiance. Radiance looked up as she saw her own brothers standing there with Justice. She hung her head even more. " I love you but I'm not happy here. " She said as Justice and the other two angles looked at one another. Justice walked up and hugged Radiance and then stood by Faida as the other two angel hugged Radiance. One of the arch angels took Radiance sword from her and smiled softly." Where your going you wont need this ever again. Now cheer up little one. The maker is going to grant your request but there is a price to pay. Your memories of ever being a angel are going to be stripped from you. Along with all your powers. You will just be a normal girl. You may forget about us but we wont forget about you. I promise to put your sword some where save until you return to us. We just want you happy. "
Radiance was surprised as the two archangels smiled and hugged her one last time. Suddenly a bright light surrounded Radiance as she vanished from sight.

Justice looked to Faida as he smiled at her. " So are you going to stay and be a pain in my side or are you going to join Radiance? " He asked as he smiled warmly at her. It was easy to see no matter how much he tried to hide it, he was dying inside having to let her go. Even in his voice you could hear the sadness. " No matter what you choose I'll always be watching over you. " He said to her meaning it as he smiled at her reaching and taking her sword and her armor. " You wont need this anymore. I promise to protect your items. I love you Faida but just as our brothers here want the best for Radiance I want the best for you. When you wake you wont remember being and angel. All you will remember is being the Sheriff's daughters. You and Radiance will have memories replaced with the two of you being sisters and growing up together. You will never be allowed to remember any of us here. All you will know is that your just a normal human girl fresh out of school and ready to start her life. You will remember your Lex and the time with him but not the angel part. I want you happy little one." Justice said as he hugged her again and then stood back as Faida vanished in a bright light.


Lex nodded as he headed back out to the truck he started it up once Jesse was in and started the trip to the beach. It took a couple of hours to get to the house he had down at the beach he pulled into the over sized house as he peered up at it. He sighed as he hung his head slightly. He hadn't been to any of his families properties since he left law school and disappointed his parents. However he knew his parents would want him to come see them. He stared at the fancy exterior of the over sized house as memories flashed through his head of coming here. " Your not the only one with family issues Jesse. This is just one of may families properties. If you should want or need anything the staff will handle it." Lex said as he saw the entire staff emerge from the house. They all looked excited and very shocked but happy to see him. Lex got out as one of the maids ran up to him and picked him up hugging him tightly. She was crying she was so happy to see him. The rest of the staff was trying to behave themselves but it was easy to see they wanted to do the same things.

"Oh little Master is back! It's really true! When the Mistress called we all laughed and thought she was joking. It's been over ten years Master. But we are so happy to have you. It's been lonely without you. You know he's missed you. He regretted what he had said since you left. It would make the late Master very happy to finally have his boy home. " The maid said as she turned and yelled at the others. " Come get the Master's luggage and his dear friends." She said as she peered in the truck at Jesse smiling warmly at him. " Hello sir, a friend of my little Master's is a friend of mine. Or more like a son. I'm MaryBeth but most people here call me Big Mama. I along with the staff here will be caring for you every need. I hope you boys are hungry I've been slaving away in the kitchen for you. I have a feast waiting for you two. I also already had James set up the lounge chairs out back and have the boat ready if you deiced to head out. " Down town tonight they are having a party if you two want to go. Little Master your Sister will be in town in three days to see you. You know the entire family is happy to hear you reappeared after your vanishing. " The women said as she turned and leaded them into the over sized mansion. "My little boy is back!" The women kept saying and the other members of staff looks just as happy as the one women was. She lead them through the fancy house and up to the second floor where the five bedrooms where. The women walked to one of the bedrooms as she open the large oak doors and inside was a room fit for sea side royalty. " Your mother has it redone for you master. She even had your diploma and all your awards put up here. Your mother framed your partners Jacket he gave you upon graduation. She said it would mean the world to you." The women said as she showed him the framed jacket. Underneath it was pictures of his family. He smiled as he saw the pictures of his mother and sister.

"She knew me better than I liked sometimes." Lex said as he smiled and looked to the heavy set women. " No one would every believe I was her son. Or that I come from money much less one of top wealthy families. " He said as the women and him laughed and grinned at one another. " Come on let's show Jesse around. I was thinking of giving him him my spare room. " Lex said as he smiled at her and followed her out of the room and took Jesse to the room next to his just as extravagant and it had a amazing view of the ocean and beach. " Will this one do Jesse? " Lex asked hoping that it would make his friend happy.

Faida frowned as she watched her friend vanish. Tears appeared in her eyes when she heard Justice. Her arms wrapped around him, she didn't want to leave him. "I...I d-don't w-want t-to forget y-you..!" she sobbed with a shake of her head. "I love you too." she said softly and looked up at him with tears in her eyes. "P-please don't go." she started and widened her eyes in fear when she heard what he said. "N-No! Please don't do this Justice!" she cried out and reached out for Justice. "N-no! D-don't leave!" she cried out, but it was too late, she was gone.

Jesse was busy staring up at the clouds the entire trip but looked at Lex when they stopped moving. The house he saw was huge! He didn't think a beach house could be so big. When Lex mentioned family issues, Jesse frowned. What sort of family issues did Lex have? Woah! So Lex was a rich kid?! He would have never guessed this when he first met Lex, honestly. Well at least Lex didn't act stuck up like other rich kids would. Seeing all the raw emotion from the staff, made him smile. His eyes focused on the maid that was staring at him and smiled back at her. "H-Hello..I'm Jesse. It's nice to meet you." he said quietly before stepping out of the truck and walking over to where Lex was.

"Hungry?" he repeated and looked at Lex. He guessed that they were pretty hungry, since they had packed food. A boat?! Why did they need a boat? Where were they going exactly? Man, being rich must be awesome. Seeing Lex's room, Jesse felt sick. He wasn't used to so much...glamour. This was crazy! Just looking at it made him wish he was back in his small clean simple room. Still, this room looked very comfortable too. At least Lex was happy, that's what mattered. Following them to the other bedroom, Jesse's eyes widened when he saw what his room would be for this vacation. This was crazy! "I..." he started, he wasn't sure what to say exactly. "It's...It's more than enough Lex, thank-you." he said and smiled at his friend. It was going to take a while to get used to this room, but he would eventually.

Lex waited till Big Mama left as he knew the look in Jesse's eyes. " It's ok it isn't my cup of tea either why did you think they staff was surprised to see me. " Lex remarked as he walked over to dragon statue that seemed out of place in the room. He smiled as he lifted the dragons head off and pulled out a set of keys. He also pulled out a roll of money and another set of keys as he put the head back on the dragon statue. He looked over at Jesse as he smiled. " Come on we are going to my real house. I'm not staying in this old stuffy place. I'm sure as heck not staying around to see my family that's for sure. " He said as he open the french doors that lead to a balcony and a set of marble stairs that lead to the beach. He smiled as he saw the boat waiting just like Big Mama had said. He climbed on board the small out of place boat as he started her up and waited for Jesse.

Lex set off once Jesse was on board not really giving him time to ask to many question. He drove them out further away from the big house past a few ports until he came to a privet dock hidden on the out skirt of a larger island. He tied the boat up once they where docked and lead the way up the many stairs to the simple beach house. It was nothing real fancy the fancy lawn ornaments where surf boards in the sand leaning up against the house. Lex smiled as he saw two scooters parked there. "Looks like Big Mama came through for me. " He said as he pulled out the other set of keys and open the front door then walked in. There was a living room kitchen and a large deck that wrapped all away around for out door living even a grill out back to enjoy the view and the nice island breezes. He smiled as he saw that food was on the table for them wrapped up just waiting for them. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything seemed well kept and very clean. He smiled as he looked to Jesse. " This is my idea of home. " He said looking around at the simple furnishings. " This is one of the oldest houses on the local islands. I saved up my money and bought it for myself after my friend who lived here wanted to move. She's not much to look at but she has weathered many storms and is still standing. And here no one will bother you . " He said as he lead Jesse to the two bed rooms. " Sorry they are more like our rooms at home just more island style. He said looking at the nets around the beds and the open doors witch lead to the deck. He smiled enjoying the breeze and the view.

" I could sit here and stare at the view for hours. " He said as he looked to Jesse. " Don't worry your bags are already here and if I know Big Mama all our things are already put away. This is the best beach I know. All the island people are friendly and you can just be yourself. I thought you might like some alone time to just relax or fish or snorkel or explore the island instead of going to one of the heavy tourist beaches. " Lex said as he looked to the floor and knew Jesse needed some answers. " I guess the girls aren't the only one's with past and secrets. My family and I don't see eye to eye on many things. My father was and is a arrogant tyrant with more money than he knows what to do with. Or I guess my step father would be more accurate. He wanted me to be a prim and proper son. And accept his demands with no question and do anything to become successful. However I never really grew up with a silver spoon and I most certainly didn't like one being shoved down my throat. He had my entire future planned out for me even down to my restroom breaks. I'm not that kind of person so we butted heads a lot. He had wanted me to be a lawyer but after having to face the fact at some point I would have to defend someone I knew was guilty I couldn't do it anymore. I left and struck it out on my own and put myself through the police academy and never looked back. " Lex said as he looked up at the beautiful view of the ocean and sky. " He told me I was a good for nothing son of a drunk fool and I would never amount to nothing. He told me that if I left the law firm he had lined up for me to partner with that he would disown me and I wouldn't have him his money or my family. " Lex said as he grinned and looked to Jesse. " So I left and haven't looked back. Big Mama and some of the locals here use to look after me and where more of a family to me. I never stayed in the houses to long with the rest of the family. To stuffy to many rules. Besides I don't fit in. I like to work and earn my money honestly. I can't say the same about my father. " Lex said as he sighed. " Big Mama had ran into some issues when the last hurricane hit. My good for nothing father didn't help her. So she called me a few years ago needing a place to stay. She knew I had bought this old place and of course I told her it was hers for as she needed it. She has been taking care of it for me. Her family ended up building homes just up the hill from here so she just acts as care taker for me. She really is a sweet women. I called her and told her we wanted some privacy and to set up the house for us. The other today was a act. My sister lives here so it would have gotten out eventually that the good for nothing son who was never going to be any body slithered his way home. Big Mama thought it would be better to make the Staff believe we where going to be staying at the mansion and just very busy. That way the family doesn't come looking to hard for us...well me. My sister will come here if she really wants to see me. After 11 years and not even a hi I doubt we will see her. It's just for show. Besides I have a list of things I want to do. Worrying about ghost isn't one of them. " Lex said as he turned and walked into the kitchen starting to unwrapping the food getting excited about what he was finding. " Oh we are going to eat good tonight! Thank you Big Mama! " He said forgetting about Faida just for a moment .

Jesse was confused but followed Lex without saying anything. Following Lex to the boat, he wondered why he hated his family so much. He didn't want to ask though. When they reached a beach house, Jesse stared at it and smiled. This looked like a real beach house. "Well now....THIS is what I call a beach house Lex. Very nice." Jesse started as he looked around the house. Oh yeah, he would have no problem sleeping in here, it was perfect. "Lex, don't be sorry okay? This is perfect!" he assured with a huge grin on his face as admired the simplistic bedrooms. It must be nice to live here, away from the annoying crowds of people.

The smile was gone though when Lex started to reveal his story to him. Wow, he thought he had it bad. Lex had it worse, a stepfather who tried to control every aspect of his life?! "Wow...Lex I'm sorry, I wouldn't have ever guessed you had a troubled past. I mean, you seem so calm about everything." Jesse commented honestly. He hoped that none of the family ever came over to see him while they were on vacation, he didn't want to see his friend break down in front of him if his family did show up to insult him. Though, perhaps Lex would keep his cool around his family? He didn't know and he didn't want to risk finding out.

"Don't worry Lex, We're here to relax and clear our heads. I'm sure nothing negative will happen, we just have to stay positive and enjoy the little break we have for now." he explained as he walked over to the kitchen. He could smell the sea in the air, it was really a refreshing scent, very relaxing as well. Looking at the food, Jesse smiled; it was nice to see Lex so happy after all that had happened. Perhaps Lex needed this more than Jesse himself did.

Lex looked up as he heard a rooster crow and saw a large Rooster just walk into the house from the open front door. He laughed as he looked over at the Rooster. " Hey this is our area go back outside. I'm not above cooking you." He said to the Rooster who looked upset by his words. The Rooster's feathers started to stand up as he bulked himself up and tried to look intimidating. Lex looked at the Rooster as he reached over the plate of food he had started to fix and pulled up a large knife and looked back to the rooster. The bird let out a crow and turned suddenly and left. This mad Lex just laugh as he shook his head. " If Faida was here she wouldn't believe that a Rooster just came right in the house...." He paused as he frowned and hung his head. " I'm...sorry Jesse. I shouldn't say anything. I'll try to do better about saying anything about them. However it's hard because for so long now they have been part of us. I'm sure Radiance would have feed the Rooster and had it pampered. " He said smiling imaging the Rooster being cared for by Radiance. If the chicken was a Pizza Faida would hunt it down with a battle Ax." He said laughing thinking about Faida's love for pizza. He sighed as he went back to fixing himself a plate. He looked out the back at the open space enjoying the views. " We don't get these views everyday. If you like I can light a fire in the fire pit out back and we can sit there for a while it will be dark sooner than you think. Or we could hit it. " He suggested.

Radiance slowly woke as she found herself in a strange room. She looked around as she saw Faida asleep on the bed near hers. She then saw her phone and keys on her night stand along with notes it looked like. She smiled as she picked up the notes and started to read. " Oh yea that's right we are on vacation for the next two weeks." She said seeing the hand writhing was their fathers. He had paid for their vacation here and wanted them to enjoy themselves. Radiance smiled as she got up and saw it was still light outside and smiled as she walked into the bathroom. She smiled at her reflection as she fixed her hair knowing that sooner or later she was going to leave her room tonight to get some food with Faida. The drive up must have been rough for them both to have been so tired. She looked to her phone as she saw a reminder flash and saw a picture of Jesse witch made her smile. She looked at the reminder and smiled even more. " Oh yea that's right we are suppose to meet them here. " She said as she walked out to the main room and looked at the night stand seeing her purse on the floor beside it. She picked it up as she wondered what had happen to make them this tired. She really must have been tired to have forgotten everything so easy. She normally had really good memory. She wondered if the long shifts at the hospital had something to do with it.

Jesse looked up at the same time and was surprised to see a Rooster walk into the house. "Woah, that's pretty neat..." he admitted and chuckled as he watched the Rooster try to intimidate Lex before running out scared. "Is there a farm nearby?" Jesse asked curiously and frowned when he mentioned Faida's name and then Radiance's name. "No...it's okay Lex. They'll be back...." he said softly and closed his eyed to calm himself down before speaking again. "They'll come back. Radiant said she'd be back, and that means Faida will be back too." he said with a small smile. Lex was right, the girls had formed a bond with them and were part of their lives. He laughed and nodded, "Yes, Radiant would want to possibly keep the rooster as a pet." Jesse agreed and laughed again. "Oh dear, Faida loves her pizza. Can't really blame her, pizza is delicious!" he commented. Jesse knew it must be hard to not have the girls around, but they'd come back. Radiance promised. Snapping out of his depressing thoughts, he looked over at Lex and nodded. "That sounds nice." he said quietly.

Faida slept for who knew how long, but when she woke up and looked into the mirror she noticed she looked horrible. It looked like she had been crying but she didn't remember why she would have been crying. "Odd..." she whispered and sighed as she looked at Radiance. "Good Morning." she said tiredly before laying back down on her bed to relax a while longer. "What are you reading?" Faida asked, seeing that Radiance was reading something. "Where's daddy?" she asked sleepily as she rubbed her already red rimmed eyes. Faida watched as Radiance left to the bathroom and decided that she needed to get up and get dressed for the day. They needed to get some food later. "What are you talking about? Meet who?" Faida asked as she brushed her hair in front of the bedroom mirror. "Oh dear, I look horrible..." she said quietly to herself.

Radiance turned as she smiled seeing that Faida was awake. "Oh good morning sis. The notes I had jotted down on how to get us to Lex's house. " She said as she smiled warmly and pulled out her bag of hair bows and handed them to Faida. " Here maybe this can help tame that mane. I think it's really nice of dad to pay for our vacation here. He wrote us a card telling us to have fun and that he'd keep watch over our house while we are gone. He also said no grand children unless we come back married to our guys. He really is set in his ways" Radiance said as she laughed and pulled out the card for Faida to see. "I'm not sure what happen but man I feel really rough and strange. I slept so hard when I woke up I didn't remember where I was or anything. It was kinda of scary honestly. " Radiance said as she walked to their suit cases and open them pulling out an outfit for her sister. " Here this is cute and should be easy for you to move in. " She said as she also handed Faida her cell phone. Here I found your phone under the edge of the bed. It looks like the knocked it off in your sleep.

Lex smiled as he looked up from his plate of food. " There is a farm not to far from here and on the island most people like to let their animals be free range. I forgot about that. " Lex admitted as he sighed. He looked down at his food before he finally closed his eyes and bowed his head and prayed. He open his eyes once he was done as he moved his fork around in it thinking about everything that happen. He thought about the girls and how beautiful they where. He thought about Radiance sacrificing herself and then the other angle Justice. He had seen more than he ever really wanted to. He thought about the Price the girls would have to pay to come back if allowed to. He slowly started to eat his meal as he thought about everything.

Lex ate in silence as he got up once he was finished and put the left over in the fridge. He laughed as he saw all the food that was already in there for him and Jesse. "Wow I know we are growing boys but wow." He said as he saw a few bottles of his favorite beer. He frowned as he shut the door not wanting to fall back to old habits. All he could see was Faida's beautiful face crinkled up and him on the floor from being slapped or punched by her for drinking. The thought made him smile as he walked outside to the back deck and enjoyed the view. He froze however as he phone started to ring. He picked it up as he saw the caller Id. "It's the sheriff." He said as he quickly answered the phone.

" Sorry to disturb you on your vacation. However I thought you should know you have a surprise coming tomorrow around noon. You need to go to the old bay seafood shack to pick it up tomorrow. I hope you have fun. And don't worry the surprises comes with instructions." The sheriff said before hanging up .

Lex stared at his phone from the cryptic message as he looked over at Jesse. " I believe the Sheriff has lost it. He called and said there is a surprise coming for us. Tomorrow about noon we need to be at the old bay seafood shack to pick it up. Then he said it would come with instructions. " Lex said looking even more puzzled at his phone. " I think the man cracked. " He said as he laughed and shook his head not going to let anything ruin his good mood. However he kept wondering what was coming they needed instructions for. He then wondered how the Sheriff knew about the old bay seafood shack he then remembered that was one of the main points of tourism to the islands was the famous seafood shack. The food was always fresh and delicious and dirt cheap. They also hosted party's every night there.

"Oh right, yes. I had forgotten we were meeting the boys today." Faida replied and frowned as she listened to her sister, "You know, I feel the same way. Maybe we hit our heads hard somehow and forgot what happened?" She suggested and smiled thankfully when she was handed the bag of hairbows, her phone, and the card. "Thank-you very much sister." Faida said as she read the card and did her best to fix her hair. When she was done, she took the outfit and chuckled. "Very cute indeed." Faida agreed. "I'll go get dressed." She said and left to the bathroom where she washed her face and got dressed in the outfit her sister had picked out for her.

Jesse was quiet as he said a prayer in his head and started to enjoy his meal. This was something he could get used to. He looked around at the lovely view but looked up when Lex spoke. Swallowing his food, Jesse raised an eyebrow. "What did he say?" He asked and laughed when Lex explained what the sheriff had said. "I wonder what he was talking about. Maybe he wants us to build something? That always comes with instructions." Jesse pointed out and continued eating until he had finished.

Jesse walked back into the house, he washed his dishes and wondered what exactly the sheriff had planned for them as a surprise. "What else has instructions?" He asked himself and walked back outside. Looking at Lex, he crossed his arms across his chest. "What do you think the surprise could be?" He asked him. What would the sheriff send them as a surprise and why?

"Your guess is as good as mine honestly. I have no idea what kind of surprise comes with instructions. My experiences with such events normally means nothing good. " Lex said being honest as he shook his head and laughed. " I guess tomorrow we find out. " He said as he took a seat in one of the lounge chairs and enjoyed the breeze and the beautiful view. Before Lex knew it he was out cold lulled into a peaceful sleep thanks to the sound of the surf and the warm sun. Lex slept through most of the evening waking up about mid night to find himself still in the chair. He laughed to himself as he slowly got up and headed into the house. He fell into one of the beds and quickly found himself back asleep. He slept like he hadn't slept in days. The past few days just seemed like nightmares as he slept. He found he had a strange piece and couldn't stop thinking of faida. Just thinking of her in his dreams made him smile.


Lex was sleeping good when he was suddenly bolted away hearing the Rooster's crow loud in his ear. He jumped up slapping the chicken against the wall hard as he poor Rooster did it's best to stand and quickly bolt from the room. "I'm going to Kill you!" Lex yelled after the mischievous Rooster who was already far from the house. Lex shook his head as he looked around seeing that he was at the beach house. He sighed as he happen to look over at his clock. He sighed then bolted up again seeing the time. " CRAMP we are late!!!!" He shouted seeing that it was already noon. "Crap Carp Crap!!!" Was all he kept saying. He quickly threw on a clean shirt and ran his fingers through his hair as he bolted for the front door. However he paused as he remembered Jesse. " Jesse come on man we are late for our surprise! Lets get on the scooters and go. " He said trying to hurry Jesse alone.


Radiance laughed at her sister as she smiled. "Come on help me get all our luggage into the car. She said as she gathered everything and headed out to the explorer smiling as she saw her pearl colored car. It was custom and even had a pair of golden wings outlined on the sides of it. It was a older model so her father helped her fix it up and design it. It was one of a kind and she loved it. She quickly packed all of their things and checked them out of the hotel. She waited for her sister before starting the car and putting in the directions their father had gave them on her note into her GPS. " You know it's going to be almost half a day right before we see them? We still have a very long drive ahead of us. Dad said we will meet Lex and Jesse at the Old Bay seafood shack. He has a letter for each of them and some goodies for us in the back. Apparently dad went crazy again and bought us new bathing suits and toys for our stay. " Radiance said as she turned the music up and started the long drive. She drove most of the night and changed with Faida at the half way point so neither one of them would be to tired.

At noon they made it to the shack. She stared out at the place amazed by it. "It looks like fun here sis! Look people are dancing and that view of the ocean is amazing! Come on lets go get our table dad aranged for us and wait for the guys. We should order some food." Radiance said once Faida had parked and grabbed her purse along with the letters for the guys. She was supper excited about seeing the guys and laughed as a few of the locals stopped her and beckoned her to dance with them. Of course Radiance couldn't turn down the offer she happily joined in with them and danced until the song ended. She thanked them then headed inside and gave their names. The waiter was thrilled it looked to have them and lead them to a privet deck area just off the shack right on the ocean where they where going to meet the guys and have their meal. Radiance mouth feel open as she saw the spread of food that had been arranged for them in advance. She laughed as she acted like a small child at christmas. " OMG Dad went all out for this! I haven't seen this much food since mom was alive. I know he wants to spoil us but I believe this is a little much. " She said as she saw beautiful drinks and a note on one with her name on it and it said enjoy love dad. "Oh he ordered my favorite rum drink. I'm not sure if we should be worried or not. Our Dad is letting us have drinks. I know we are older but still.....we might need to have a word with him about his parenting skills. " She said in a playful tone.

Jesse noticed it was starting to get dark so he headed into the house and into the bedroom where he lay in his bed after setting his glasses on the nightstand. He assumed that Lex would come back inside eventually, and even though he wanted to wait for him, he found himself falling to sleep. Sleep was lovely, he was able to sleep peacefully even though he knew Radiance was gone for who knew how long. He didn't know when morning had come or why it arrived so fast, but he jolted awake hearing Lex rush him. "I'm up, I'm up!" he assured tiredly and rubbed his eyes then put his glasses back on. "I need to get dressed..." he muttered and grabbed some clean clothes and closed his bedroom door so that he could quickly change then ran out of the room and looked at Lex. "Let's go then!" he said with a smile on his face.

Faida nodded and helped Radiance get their things into the car. Radiance, being the oldest, was the only one with a car. It didn't bother her though, Faida was perfectly fine with sharing her sister's car. One car was all they really needed. Making sure to buckle up, Faida nodded at what Radiance said. "I know sister. Now don't run any red lights. The boys will still be there when we get there." she said teasingly and laughed. "Sounds to me like Daddy just wanted us to be comfortable and prepared." she commented. When it was her turn to drive, Faida grinned and stepped on the gas. She loved to go fast, but she was careful either way and hoped she didn't give her dear sister a heart attack.

When they arrived at their destination, Faida parked the car and stared at the place in awe. "Woah, this looks amazing!" she whispered and nodded happily. She was excited even though she wasn't jumping around like she normally would be. Faida followed her sister out of the car and into the restaurant, only to watch Radiance dance with everyone. It was to be expected, Radiance was very fun to be around. Following Radiance to their table, she was surprised by what she saw. "Oh my goodness!" Faida gasped when she saw all the food layed out for them. "Daddy just wants to make sure we eat." Faida pointed out and sat down before saying a quick prayer and happily digging into the food. She was starving so she was having no problem eating the food. When Radiance mentioned the Rum, Faida frowned. "Well I don't drink, don't drink too much Radiance it's not exactly a good thing for you." she lectured quietly as she continued eating.

Radiance smiled as she looked to her sister and laughed. " I only drink once maybe twice a year I believe it's ok to have one. " She said knowing that her sister was just worried. " Besides it means you can drive the rest of the day. " She said knowing it would make her sister happy. She said a quick blessing then started to enjoy the food. She ordered herself a water to go with her drink to ensure she wouldn't get intoxicated. Radiance was excited hoping that the guys would hurry. Radiance jumped up as she saw the guys she quickly pulled out the envelope for them and handed them to each giving each one a hug before returning to her food.


Lex hurried outside as he handed Jesse the key to his scooter. "Here follow me." He said as he started down the only bath that lead to and from the house. It took them a little while to get to the place but they did make it. He park the scooter as he he walked up to the host the man laughing as he grinned looking at him and Jesse. " You two must be Jesse and Lex. Back this way everything is waiting for you." The man said leading them to the privet deck where the girls where. Lex froze as he stared at the two human girls. " It can't be..." He said as he watched the golden haired girl that look like radiance without wings jumped up and waved as she ran over and hugged him tightly handing him the letter from the Sheriff and one to Jesse as she hugged him tightly. She then went back to the food waiting on them.

Lex open the letter as he read it.

" Lex and or Jesse ,
Justice came to me and brought the girls home. However he explained that they had wanted to be here with all of us. To grant their wish their memories have been stripped from them. They have no memories of every being angels and memories instead of growing up as my daughters and going off to collage and coming back to fall in love with you two have been added. They are now fully human girls. Neither one of them remembers their past or ever being angels. As fair as they know they here on vacation to surprise you both. Justice said to please keep this a secret and keep them happy he will be watching along with Lance and Ravenous. All three wanted you both to know you have two special angels with you and you should treat them as such. So form now own they are my daughters and you better treat them right or I'll put you both away or under 8 feet. Because I'll stomp you both the extra foot if you hurt them! The memories of everyone in town have been altered except mine and yours. So as fair as any know they are my daughters and your girl friends. I wired enough money for you all to have fun. But you better bring my daughters back home in one peice and happy!

Jesse followed Lex and parked when they had reached the shack. Following Lex inside, he looked around, still wondering what the surprise could be. He walked with Lex over to the back and was surprised to see two girls, one looked just like Radiance but without the wings. The thought of how she lost her wings made him cringe. Jesse hugged her back and looked at the letter. Opening it, he read it and swallowed nervously. He didn't doubt that the sheriff would keep his promise he made on the letter. "I'm guessing these are the instructions?" Jesse asked Lex as he showed him the letter.

Faida laughed and nodded, "Are you okay with me driving sister?" Faida asked as she continued to eat happily. She was so busy eating that she didn't even notice the boys had arrived. Picking up a drink of rum, she sniffed it and made a face before putting it back where it was. She didn't know how her sister could drink that stuff, it smelled awful.

Radiance laughed as she heard her sister. " It's ok you enjoy driving and I enjoy my rum once in a while." She said as she looked over at Jesse wondering if he was alright. " Are you two alright? Did dad put something in there we should know about? " She asked wondering if their dad had threaten them again. She laughed as she smiled looked at Jesse. " Come on dad ordered all of this food for us. And dad said that you couldn't have any of the drinks he ordered for Jesse, Faida, and I. " Radiance said to Lex as she pointed to the Juice at his designated place. "We couldn't wait to see you both. However we slept really hard last night. We must have had a really long drive getting her."

Lex looked to Jesse and back at the letter. " I believe so. " He paniced almost hearing Radiance. " Nope there is nothing to worry about in the letters. Jesse and I just aren't use to getting mail from your father is all." He said being honest as he walked over to the table looking over at all the food. He smiled as he looked at Faida. He didn't care about the drinks or really even the food. He reached out and bent down hugging Faida tightly. He wrapped his arms around her and held her against him. he closed his eyes as he thanked the maker he had Faida back. He held her hugging her like he hadn't seen her in years. He was just thankful to have her back. He slowly let go as he caressed her cheek then leaned in and kissed her. He smiled fondly at her. " I've missed you my Queen." He said to her as he gently took her hand and turned to the food. He fixed his plate keeping her hand in his using his one free hand to eat and grab any food he wanted.

Faida sipped her own drink and was surprised when she felt familiar arms around her. Looking at Lex, she smiled and wrapped her arms around him happily. Faida blushed and smiled up at him and kissed him back tenderly, "I've missed you too solider." She answered and gently stroke his cheek with her free hand. "I'm so happy to see you." Faida whispered, meaning it. He was always a joy to see, always so kind to her and she enjoyed their little group dates with the pizza. Keeping her hand in his, Faida continued eating her food happily. Occasionally she would glance at Lex and blush. Looking at Jesse, she smiled, "It's nice to see you too Jesse!" She chimed happily.

Jesse shook his head in agreement to what Lex had said. "Lex is right, it's nothing." He said and sat down beside Radiance at the table, looking at all the food, he knew he wouldn't eat too much since he had eaten a bit yesterday. Jesse fixed himself a plate and quietly started to eat, thinking about the letter and what it said. So the girls didn't remember anything about being angels? The thought was a depressing one but he guessed it was to keep them safe somehow.

Radiance looked up from her food as she watched Lex with her sister. She blushed as she quickly looked away and down at her own plate. Radiance looked over at Jesse as she wondered if something was wrong he looked lost in thought. Radiance chose to leave him alone as she played in her food. She became full fast. Radiance turned around as she looked at the ocean enjoying the beauty and the music.

Lex smiled as he enjoyed seeing Faida blush softly.He enjoyed the food but the company was defiantly the best. Lex finally finished his own meal as he looked to Faida. " How did you guys get here?" He asked wondering if they had taken Faida's car. He wasn't sure if she remembered even having a car or that she was his partner at work. He wasn't sure how much she did remember.

Faida finished her food and looked at Lex, "We took Radiance's car. She drove half of the way and I drove the other half." Faida explained and looked over at Radiance who was staring out the window. "My sister has the prettiest car I have ever seen, I'm just happy driving it around from time to time." She explained and took a photo of him for her phone. Giggling as she saved it and put her phone away then wrapped her arms around him in a hug. She had missed him terribly, it was so nice to see him and hear his voice again.

Jesse ate his food and when he had finished, he looked over at Radiance and smiled softly. Despite all that had happened, both girls looked happy and fine. All their wounds were gone. He was happy to have her back even though he knew the others probably missed both girls. He wondered what ever happened to Kiasha, but he was sure that it wasn't pretty whatever it was that had happened to her.

Radiance turned as she smiled looking at her sister. " Don't forget Dad promised that when you got back he'd help get you a car of your own or truck. Dad promised to help you like he did me. " Radiance said remembering that their Dad had gave Faida a book of different vehicles. " I packed the book because I thought you might like to go through it and get ideas. Besides worst case you and Lex could look at it when we get back. " Radiance said as she looked over to Jesse and smiled. " Would you like to dance with me? " She asked wondering if he wanted to go dance with her outside with the other people there.

Lex smiled as he hugged Faida he looked to Radiance as he smiled and looked back to her. " Well we could go dance if you like. I haven't danced in a very long time but there is a first time for everything. " He said smiling at her. "Besides I'm sure you want to have some fun before we head back to my beach house. I'm not really sure what your sister and Jesse are going to find to entertain themselves. I have surfing for us and diving. Also hiking and horse back riding besides enjoy the beach. " He said smiling at her.

Faida smiled and nodded, "Thank-you for reminding me sis! I will be sure to look at that as soon as I can." She promised. She didn't know what kind of car to get so she hoped that Lex could help her choose one. Her dance with Lex? "That sounds like fun, lets go!" She said and took Lex's hand, leading him outside. "It sounds to me like you have a lot of fun things planned for you and I to do." She noted and looked at him with a smile on her face. "I haven't danced in a while either but this will be a lot of fun, I'm sure!" Faida said happily.

Jesse looked at Radiant and nodded, "Yes I would." He answered and took her hand in his. He missed her, and it was going to take a while to get used to the fact that she was a human just like him. She was no longer an angel, but she was beautiful either way. He remembered what she looked like when they found her, he wasn't afraid because she was still his Radiant no matter what she looked like. "I've missed you." Jesse said to her softly and kissed her cheek.
