Radiance laughed as she heard him. " I'm glad you like it. But the cookies you have to save for the others. The brownies are all yours Kia. You need to behave though remember Faida wants to make pizza." She said as she started putting the cookies on a platter. She finished with the last of the cookie batters putting them in the oven and setting the timer. She then went and cleaned up the kitchen again making sure that it was clean for Faida and Lex to use.

"Well Jesse likes anything with meat so you can't go wrong there. You know what Radiance likes so I'm sure anything we do they will like." He said as he headed inside holding the door for her. He walked in as he smelt cookies. " Oh I smell cookies!" He said very happily as he hurried to find the cookies. He grinned as he saw the cookie on a platter and saw some in the oven. " Oh a cookie faerie appeared and baked cookies! I love it here!" He said as he reached for a cookie. He was surprised as his hand was slapped away. " Oww." He said as he looked to Radiance who slapped his hand away. He then saw the brownies. His eyes widen as he reached for it.

Jesse nodded, "I understand Radiant. Thank-you very much for the brownies." he said to her and smiled warmly at her. Radiant was right, Faida wanted to make pizza so he couldn't eat too many sweets right now. "I wonder what kind of pizza she will make." Jesse said before taking another bite of the brownie happily. Jesse heard Lex and Faida walk in and finished up the brownie then washed up the plate and for he had used. Hearing what Lex said, Jesse chuckled and finished up then looked at Lex just as Radiance slapped his hand away. When Lex started to reach out for the brownies, Jesse frowned and pulled the brownies out of Lex's reach. "Sorry Lex, these are mine. Radiant made them especially for me. You are welcomed to have some cookies after we eat our dinner first though." Jesse explained.

Faida nodded in agreement with Lex and followed him inside the house. The scent of cookies welcomed her and she walked over to the kitchen, laughing softly when Lex got his hand slapped away and was told the brownies were off limits. "You made all of this sister?" she asked and smiled, "I'm sure they taste very good!" Faida said honestly. In her mind, she knew what pizza she wanted to make, the seafood pizza. Faida hoped that Lex would help and that everyone would like it when it was finished.

Radiance smiled as she nodded handing one of the cookies to Faida. " Here try it. I did Kia said they where pretty good. I'm sorry but the last batches of the cookies are in the oven. They should be done in about ten minuets. " She said as she looked at Lex. " You can't have any cookies until after dinner because you can't stop at one. " She said as she smiled and laughed softly. She walked over to Kia and wrapped her arms around him as she grinned and looked t Faida. " How was the water? Have you deiced what pizza your making? If you promise to take the cookies out when the timer gets off and keep Lex away from them Kia and I will get out of your hair so you can cook with Lex." She said softly.

Lex looked at Jesse a little surprised but then laughed as he stared at Jesse. " Oh I see how it is. It's ok I'd be the same way." He said as he looked to Radiance hearing what she had to say. " Sadly you know me a little to well. Fine if I have to wait. " He said as he looked to Faida. " What has my Queen chosen to make? " He asked wondering if she had narrowed down her choices or if she still wanted to make the seafood and veggie pizzas.

Faida took the cookie and took a bite of the cookie, making a happy sound. "These are really yummy sis!" she said happily. "Oh Lex, you are going to love them when you have some after dinner." she said and finished the cookie. "Oh the water was wonderful! Soldier and I have a great time, it was a lot of fun! I have never surfed before but I had so much fun!" she chimmed, obviously very happy with her day so far. Faida blinked when Radiance brought up the pizza, "Oh, well I'll be making a seafood pizza. I've never had it but it sounds delicious. I hope to try every kind of pizza out there someday. I'm sure they're all delicious." Faida answered and laughed softly. "I promise sis, I'll make sure he doesn't touch any of the cookies until after dinner." Faida promised with a nod of her head.

Jesse wrapped his arms around Radiance and held her lovingly in his arms. Hearing Faida praise the cookies that Radiance made, he chuckled. "See? I told you they were really good." Jesse said to Radiance and ran his fingers lightly through her hair. "Alright then, we'll leave you two to your pizza making skills. We'll see you both at dinner." he said to both Lex and Faida, then looked down at Radiance. He wondered what she would want to do but they would figure something out.

Radiance smiled as she felt Jesse wrap his arms around her. She blushed faintly not able to stop herself as she felt him run his fingers through her hair softly. She smiled as she reached for the cook book and smiled leading Jesse away. She lead him away to her bedroom as she took a seat on the bed. " Well what book did you want to read? You said you wanted to read." She said softly as she smiled up at him.

Lex watched the pair leave as he started pulling out two large bowls. He pulled out a box full of recipes. He flipped through them as he saw his sister's hand writing and his mothers and then the ones he wanted from his grandmother. He pulled out the recipe card as he placed it on the counter. He started gathering everything they needed for the dough. He mixed it into one of the bowls and formed a large ball. he then floured the counter and started to kneed it and stretch it. He then rolled it back up and placed it into a oil bowl as he covered it and set it aside to rise. He then looked to Faida. "Alright what seafood are we putting on it?" He asked as he walked to his bed room and came out with his laptop for her to look up recipes on. He hurried to clean the kitchen so it was clean to set the laptop down on the counter.

Jesse followed Radiance to her room and smiled down at her. "Ah yes, I did say I wanted to read didn't I?" he said and thought for a moment. "One second." he said and left to his room where he looked through his things and pulled out a brand new book. He hadn't read it ever before but his brother said he would probably like it so that's why he bought it. Not the smartest thing to do but he trusted his brother. With the book in his hands he walked back to Radiance's room and sat down next to her on her bed. "What do you think about this?" he asked her, showing her the book.

Faida waved at the pair and looked back to Lex who was now looking through papers that were recipes. Faida watched in silence as Lex worked on making the pizza dough that would be the crust of the pizza. She smiled, enjoying watching him work on the dough. He made it look so simple it was incredible. When asked what she would want on the pizza, she thanked him for the laptop and looked up ingredients for a seafood pizza. "Well I'm seeing that we can have shrimp on it, lobster, anchovies...I don't like anchovies though." she said mostly to herself as she continued reading. "Let's do Shrimp, lobster and crab and anything else you would like on there?" Faida asked him.

Radiance looked at the book and smiled. " It looks like it could be really interesting. But if your reading then you have to read and make any goofy voice if it calls for it." She said as she looked at him then grinned and laughed. She moved a little closer to him as she took a pillow and put behind him to make him more comfortable and did one for herself.

Lex smiled as he listen to her and arched his brow. " My Queen do I look like a fisherman to you? Do I look rich? Where are we going to get all of that." He said as he grinned and walked up behind her hugging her and then grinned as he gently spun her around to face the fridge opening the freezer where it was fully stocked full of seafood and meats. " So crab, lobster, and shrimp." He said pulling out each. " luckily for us they are already cooked and all we needed to do is heat them up. So are you going to put them in the pan and heat them up or am I going to Chief. " He said smiling at her in a playful manner.

"Goofy voice?" he repeated and thought for a moment. "I'll try my best though." he said softly and smiled at Radiance. Opening the book to the first page, Jesse fixed his glasses and started to read aloud to Radience, he remembered when he would read to Ellie before her bedtime. He didn't do that too much anymore but maybe he'd start that again next time he visited his sister.

Faida looked at Lex and frowned slightly, "Oh...w-well I didn't think of that. I thought we had what we needed." she said softly. "I'm sorry Soldier, I didn't know. I should have asked first." she apologized and blinked when he spun her aaround to see the fully stocked freezer with what they needed. Gasping in surprise, she lightly bopped his head and then laughed. "Why soldier! You had me scared for a moment thinking you might have been upset with me and that we didn't have what we needed. You sir are mean, no kisses for you." she said and pouted cutely, trying to look mad at him but she only laughed again. "Oh, I can do it I think. I mean it will be fun!" she said and looked around for a pan to use.

Radiance smiled as she enjoyed hearing him read. She relaxed beside him. Radiance softly petted his leg as he read. She found it very relaxing as he read honestly enjoying herself. She turned her head hearing laughter coming from the kitchen and smiled happy to hear them laughing.

Lex laughed as he looked at her. " No kisses? That's a little extreme don't you think? I was just having some fun with you." He said as he wrapped his arms around her and kissed down her neck playful. He then laughed as he smiled. " I'm not mean I just wanting to have some fun with you was all! And if you want to cook them up that's fine with me. They don't have to go down long. Why don't we add some fresh garlic cloves, some white wine, butter, and some herbs to them so they are really flavorful in our pizza?" He suggested as he pulled up a video on how to cook seafood for her.

Jesse continued to read aloud to Radiance, judging by the smile on her face she was enjoying this. There was always something entertaining about hearing someone else read to you. It was always relaxing somehow. He never knew why but being read to always relaxed him too. Jesse turned the page and kept ready, just happy that he could make Radiance happy with something so simple. He smiled hearing Lex and Faida enjoying themselves in the kitchen as well.

"Yes, you're right. I went a bit too far with that." Faida admitted and blushed brightly when she felt Lex kiss down her neck. It was something new and it gave her a strange feeling, sending chills up her spine. Faida looked up at him and smiled shyly up at him, kissing his cheek gently. Listening to him, she nodded and quickly gathered the things she needed and followed along the video, repeating everything the person on the video was saying. She looked adorable cooking there since she didn't really know how to cook so well but she always wanted to learn. Her older sister Radiance was the chef in the house.

Radiance waited till Jesse took a breath and then started to read to him. She read the best she could putting emotion into it trying to make the story come to life. That was her favorite it's why she loved reading. It could take places and make you feel things you hadn't felt or seen before. It was a chance to escape to another world.

Lex felt his heart melting watching her try and cook. He helped her with some of it as he smiled at her. " Your doing very well." He told her seeing how hard she was trying. He waited and let her do the cooking only grabbing the dough knowing it was done and ready to be cut and formed into crust. He floured the counter again moving the laptop near the stove for her. He then poured out the nice risen dough and waited with the cutting tool so she could learn how to do it and make the dough into pizza crust.

Jesse was about to continue reading after taking a breath but was surprised to hear that Radiance was reading to him now and he found it sweet that they would be taking turns. He listened to her, smiling as he did and his fingers would soothingly run through her soft hair, he was looking forward to seeing how it looked dyed.

Faida smiled at what Lex said and continued to pay attention to the video, the look of intense concentration on her face. When the video finished Faida was finished as well and she turned the stove off. "Okay so what do we do next?" she asked and kissed him softly. "That's for helping me with the cooking." she said softly and blushed. She noticed the dough and that he was holding a pizza cutter. "Are we going to cut something?" she asked.

Radiance smiled as she felt him playing in her hair. She actually liked it and found it to be very sweet as she kept reading. She gave it her all hoping that he was enjoying himself as she read to him. The book seemed to be very interesting she was glad he had brought it and really couldn't put it down. She was surprised with how much she was enjoying just sitting with Kai and reading the book.

"You need to cut your dough up in pieces and then roll it out to the size you want. I made enough dough for three nights of pizza and for you to make very large pizza's. " Lex said as he smiled at her. " You really are doing a great job! I'm really impressed but then again you always impress me my Queen. So before we cut what size of pizza should this be my Queen? You are the boss tonight I'm just here to do your bidding as you command."

Jesse found it adorable how interested Radiance was in the book. It seemed they had similar tastes in books or he had just gotten lucky. Either was he was happy. "I'm happy to see you like the book so much." he said to her softly. He was enjoying the time they were spending together, it wasn't extreme sports like she would like or like Faida and Lex liked but it was still nice to be able to just enjoy a book with someone.

Faida nodded, understanding the instructions. "I understand." she said and smiled. "Let's do a large pizza." she suggested. Maybe her addiction to pizza wasn't the best but it wasn't like she ate pizza everyday so that was good right? Lex was so sweet, she wondered what her sister and Jesse were up to. Her eyes went to the cookies and the brownies but she had promised not to touch them and to make sure Lex didn't either.

Radaince smiled as she paused looking up hearing Jesse. " I'm glad I'm really enjoying this. I hope you know that your the best part of this vacation. I know I tease and might have come off a little strange but you are always the best part of my day just as you are Kia. You are perfect just the way you are. It was your lovely idea to read this book and I really enjoy this time with you thank you Kia." She said as she leaned over and kissed his cheek and smiled softly. " We can continue or we could check in on the others. I hope they didn't forget about the cookies in the oven."

Lex smiled as he suddenly hugged her and kissed her cheek softly. " Then a large Pizza it is my Queen." He said as he gently let her go and cut the dough showing her how large she needed to cut it to make a large pizza. "Let's cut all the dough here for large pizza. We only need two for tonight and the rest are for the rest of the week. That way I know you have pizza dough for any pizza you want to make. Do I need to get you a pizza oven for christmas?" He asked jokingly as he smiled at her.

Jesse blushed softly as he listened to what Radiance was saying. "You really feel that way?" Jesse asked and smiled as he hugged her lovingly. "Radiant you are the sweetest girl I've ever had the pleasure of meeting." he said to her and kissed her forehead. "Thank-you for being you." he said to her softly and looked at her. "Perhaps we should go see if they're doing okay." he said and widened his eyes in fear. "You did tell them about the cookies in the oven right?" he asked her.

Faida smiled and hugged him back, "A pizza oven?" she repeated and chuckled softly. "Is that an actual thing? Can anyone get one?" she asked. "I thought only store owners could have one." Faida commented and watched Lex carefully. "I understand." she said and started to cut up the dough like he had showed her but stopped suddenly and looked inside the oven. "Oh the cookies I almost forgot!" she gasped and turned off the over before grabbing a rag to take out the cookies. They looked fine, not burned at all and they smelled great.

Radiance blushed as she heard Jesse. She smiled and nodded as she gently put the book down and got up. She walked into the kitchen in time to see her sister pulling out the cookies. She laughed softly as she watched her sister and then looked to Lex. "Is what a actual thing?" She asked softly as pulled out one of the stools at the counter and took a seat smiling seeing that her sister had managed to save the cookies. She was glad that she and Jesse had thought to check on them. She was impressed seeing that the other cookies hadn't been touched by Lex.

Lex looked as he heard Radiance and watched her come over and take a seat. " I had mentioned a pizza oven to Faida and yes that is a thing. And people can buy them for their houses thank you very much." He said as he went to work sealing up the dough for the other nights and put it away. He then looked at Radiance as he saw a soft blush on her cheeks. " I guess it got a little hot in your bed room. You should really put on some sun screen." He said purposely picking on Radiance.

Jesse leaned against one of the counters and watched both Lex and Faida who managed to save the cookies from their burning death. "A pizza oven, I'm sure it would be nice to own one." he said and blushed brightly when he heard what Lex said about it getting hot in Radiance's bedroom. To distract himself, he took off his glasses and held them up to the light as he cleaned them with a small cloth. He knew Lex was just teasing them, he probably enjoyed seeing them blush like crazy.

Faida smiled as she went back to work on the pizza and looked at her sister and at Jesse, chuckling softly. "The cookies have been saved and we have not touched the other cookies or the brownies." she said happily. "We are working hard on the pizza, it's so much fun making it! I am very happy that soldier is here to help me along the way. I fear I would make a mess if I did this on my own." Faida admitted.

Radiance looked to Lex as she laughed softly. " I guess your right but I didn't think the sunlight was that strong. I was enjoying reading a book with Kia. " She said as she looked to Faida and smiled softly at her sister. " You should have more faith in yourself. I'm sure you would do just fine. Besides you do help me when I cook." She said and thought about when she cooked. She frowned as she realized that Faida really had never done any cooking. " Oh....I guess you would be nervous. I'm sorry Faida I guess I get so absorbed in getting dinner on the table and making sure that everyone is ready to go that I haven't ever let you really cook or spend time in the kitchen. I'm sorry for that. I promise from now own to let you cook when you would like and to help you out any way I can." She said as she smiled. " Besides I want to start baking so keep it up and maybe well open a Pizza Bakery together. You can do your pizza's and I'll do different baked good. Though Nancy might not approve. Or maybe we could get her to be a business partner with us. After all she would know how to handle the business part. " Radiance said as she looked over to Lex and Jesse. " Besides we already have handsome servers to bring in the ladies." She said in a playing tone as she got up and wrapped her arms around Jesse's waist. " I'm a lucky girl to have such a wonderful guy in my life and a wonderful family." She said as she smiled.


Lex looked up as he heard Radiance he didn't know what to say as he blushed a little thinking about family. He had honestly grown close with everyone here and felt like they where his family. He smiled as he looked to Faida she really was amazing and he honestly couldn't imagine a day without her. He wouldn't mind spending every single day with her. If she wanted to open up a pizza parlor he would do whatever he could to keep her happy and to help her succeed. He thought about some of the things he would like to do as he stood there. " Well if you girls are going to announce your dreams then I'll join in. I'd like to get back to carpentry. It's been years since I did it. Make that piece for Faida's last Birthday was really fun."

Faida was doing her best to roll out the pizza dough on the floured counter while listening to her sister. "Well yes, I do help you as best as I can." she agreed as she continued working on the dough. She hoped she was doing this right, she didn't want to mess up. Faida blinked in confusion and looked at her sister. "You should not be sorry Radiance, I enjoy helping you cook." Faida explained and gasped. "A Pizza Bakery?!" she repeated, a smile on her face. "W-well do you think Nancy would be interested in being a partner?" she asked and looked back down at the dough. Radiance was right, Nancy would know all about running a business since she had the cafe diner she ran. Faida wondered how Nancy was doing and looked forward to seeing her again. Faida blushed and looked at Lex, he was very handsome indeed but she didn't know if she wanted other girls close to him or looking at him. "I agree that we do have handsome servers." Faida agreed and nervously looked back at what she was doing.

Jesse listened to what was being said and smiled, it was nice of Radiance to suggest that knowing Faida's love of pizza. When Faida asked if Nancy would be interested, he thought about it for a moment. "I'm sure that Nancy would be more than happy to hear the two of you want to start your own business. She would most likely want to help you both out any way she could." Jesse answered and then felt arms around his waist, making him blush again. He didn't like how he looked without his glasses so he quickly put them back on after they were cleaned. Family, he liked these three people right here more than he liked his own family which was sad but he didn't care. He had grown very close to them, and he wasn't very close with his family although he was getting close to his sister Sarah again.

Radiance smiled as she saw her sister and looked away not wanting to make her sister feel even more nervous. She looked outside as she smiled and gently kissed Jesse's cheek. " I think I'm going to go check the water if you would like to join me." She said as she walked to the open deck placing a towel she had grabbed on the way out on one of the chairs. She then removed her shirt and shorts as she fixed her two piece. She threw her hair up in a bun as she walked down to the beach and walked into the surf. She smiled as she walked along enjoying the cool water.

Lex looked to Faida as he saw her working on the dough. He came up behind her and started helping her form the dough into a pizza crust. He smiled hoping that it would help to clam her nerves. " If you get good at this I guess we'll have to plan on Italy and plan on staying there for a while. I mean you need to be trained by a master so when you come back you are a master of your craft." He said as he smiled softly. " I guess that means I'll have to look for a vacation house there for us." He said as he smiled honestly like the idea of us instead of I or me.

Jesse looked at Radiance and nodded. "Sure." he said and watched her leave. He looked back at Lex and Faida and smiled. "We'll be back real soon you guys." he said and walked out after Radiance. He blushed brightly when he saw her in her two piece but smiled. She looked absolutely beautiful, Radiance was always beautiful to him though no matter what she was wearing. Walking over to her, he took her hand in his and looked at the water as they walked, it was nice.

Faida smiled and looked at Lex, "Thank-you." she said and continued to work on the crust with him happily. This pizza was going to be very tasty, she already knew that it would be loved by all. Well it didn't hurt to be hopeful right? "Italy?" she repeated and looked at him. "D-do you really want to go there with me?" she asked surprised. She had never been to Italy before, but she would love to go with him if he really wanted to of course. "That sounds like a lovely idea Soldier, we can make little pizzas together and look at all the lovely things Italy has to offer." Faida said sweetly.

"I'm giving it serious thought. I did promise I would take you and if I'm going to take you I should do it right. I'm not sure a month would be enough though. I'm thinking maybe a year or two. Besides your the only person I've had in a very long time to spoil. Why don't you look at villa's you like and when you decide witch one you want let me know. Price is not a issue. I want you to chose what you really want. If you really want to go to Italy then maybe before christmas or even your birthday we could go. But I want this to be your choice. You wont need to worry about anything I will take care of you and your needs. That includes shopping." He said being honest as he looked down at her. " I really don't mind Faida. After all your my Queen and I'll treat you as such. Besides we only have one life to live."

Radiance smiled as she held Kia's hand. " It's very romantic to be walking here with you." She said as she blushed softly looking to Kia. " I hope you don't mind. I figure the pizza will be done shortly. And with how good the book is I wouldn't want to stop reading for us to eat. I thought maybe a walk in the surf would be a better idea if you don't mind." She said softly as she smiled at him.

Faida listened to Lex and nodded. "You did promise but I don't want you to think that you have to take me. I will be happy being anywhere with you. We can stay here all the time and I would be happy because I'd be right here with you and that's all that matters." she said quietly. He really sounded like he wanted to take her though, a year or two in Italy. She wondered what else they would do there, but it was exciting to think about. Nodding, Faida smiled, "Of course, I will be sure to start looking as soon as I can. You are right, we do only have one life to live and like my sister says Tomorrow is not promised." she said softly. Faida couldn't help but blush and smiled at Lex, "You know, you are the kindest man I have ever met. Thank-you for everything." she said and kissed him softly before returning to work on the pizza.

Jesse smiled and blushed as he listened to Radiance. "Beaches are natural romantic settings, that and sunsets. Also rainy days have been seen as romantic and I don't know why." he informed and shook his head. "I don't mind at all Radiant. I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying the book." Jesse answered and looked at Radiant.

Lex stared at Faida as he felt a stab of pain hearing her words. He wasn't the kindest man or the best man. Honestly if she hadn't come in his life he would still be drinking his way through the day. If it hadn't been for her and Jesse he could be dead. Faida was the reason he wanted to be alive. He had been in a slump since the death of his partner that he honest didn't care about anything up until he met the people here with him now. He had put his partner through hell ignoring the man's advice and never really started living his life until now. He had cut ties with his family and made his job his life. The riskier the better for him at work. Now though his outlook on life had changed. It took a Angel to lose her wings to make him understand what his partner had been talking about.

Lex closed his eyes as he slowly open his eyes looking at Faida. He had a slight grin on his face as he watched her. " I'm not the guy you deserve yet but I will do my best to get there. Your happiness means the world to me. And honestly I can't think of being without you. So where ever you want to go, or do I'm happy to go with you. You are my Angel and you saved me. I have to try and make you happy for the rest of our lives because you gave me life and a reason to live again. So you are stuck with me. I hope you are ready for spoiling because I'm going to spoil you rotten. " He said as he wrapped his arms around her holding her tight against him. " Faida, I love you." He whispered softly to her.

Radiance smiled as she looked to the water hearing what Kia said. " Well I think anytime with you is special and can be romantic. " Radiance said softly as she looked to Kia blushing softly again. " Well enough about such thing. You know the Holidays will be here soon enough. I haven't the slightest idea what you would like. So what's something you would like for christmas this year?" She said trying to make conversation. She looked down to their feet as they walked trying not to blush any harder than she already was. Jesse had that effect on her he always had. Just being with him was magical for her.
