Faida listened to what Lex was saying while she worked on the pizza. She didn't understand why he was saying this but she felt it was better not to ask so many questions. Something told her that she had probably hurt his feelings somehow. Faida focused on the pizza and when she was done, she frowned. "I am sorry if I hurt you or upset you with what I said Lex." she said softly. "I still think you are the sweetest guy no matter what. You have done nothing to show me otherwise." Faida said and smiled warmly, "I love you too, Lex." she whispered softly back to him.

Jesse blushed softly and listened to her as she spoke while they walked along the beach. Christmas?! He had forgotten all about it! He did want to get at least Radiance something although he wasn't sure what. Maybe he could even get Lex and Faida something too. "W-well.." Jesse started and thought real hard about this. What did he want for Christmas? "Could you have the others wrap you up and place a big bow on your head? That would be the best present ever." he said and smiled at her. "I'm not picky with gifts. I'm not interested in gifts, I just like spending Christmas with the people I care about. If I get a gift it's a bonus." he said and looked up at the sky. "I was thinking of getting new cleaning supplies for Christmas. Maybe getting better glasses since these are old. They'll look the same but they'll be stronger." he commented.

Radiance laughed as she heard Jesse. " I believe we can handle any of those. " Radiance said as she laughed softly and saw a few rocks ahead of them. She laughed as she bolted forward and leaped up landing on one and jumped up on the other. She took a seat on the rock and smiled as she looked out at the ocean. " I just want everyone happy for Christmas." She said meaning it as she smiled softly.

"I think your the sweeties person I know. So what's the next step pretty lady?" Lex said as he looked at her. He looked around as he noticed they where missing two others. " Oh yea that's right Jesse and Radiance went outside didn't they?" He said as he laughed. " I really need to wake up and pay attention to things."

Jesse blinked when she ran off but smiled seeing that she was very happy right now. That was always the most important thing to him, her happiness. He walked over to the rocks and listened to what she said, "Me too Radiant. I'm sure everyone will be happy though. I mean, why wouldn't they be right?" he asked and stared off into the ocean. His family would probably want him to spend Christmas with them and even though he didn't want to, he'd have to. He was going to have to divide his time though, spend some time with the family and then spend the rest of the time with his friends and Radiant.

Faida turned to the video on the laptop and read the directions. "Well now we put it in the oven it says." she pointed out and blinked from behind her glasses as she looked at the temperatures on the oven. "Hmm..." Quickly, Faida looked at the directions again and set the oven to the appropriate temperature. Faida checked the time before carefully slipping the pizza into the oven and sighing. It was a lot of work, but it was going to be worth it.

Radiance sighed as she nuzzled up to Jesse enjoying the view. " I was really surprised that you took this vacation. " She said softly as she kept her eyes on the ocean waves finding peace in them. " I'm happy that you do Kia. It's good to rest and to experience something different. I know you like to work and love to clean but it's good to get out of your comfort zone. So thank you for that." She said softly as she turned and smiled at him. " I really hope that you have a good time. So maybe we can go to other places. The world is so vast there are so many things to see and do. But I hope you know that no matter what the best thing to me is always being with you. Besides how sad it would be to travel the world with no one to care for. I want the kind of love that you read about in books. I want to be with the person who makes any sacrifice worth while. When I close my eyes your that one person. I'd give anything for a moment with you. So thank you for being my special person. " She said as she smiled at him and looked back to the ocean.

Lex watched Faida honestly impressed with her dedication. However before long his stomach let out a loud growl as he blushed and put his hand over his stomach. " Sorry, I can't do anything with it. It know's what it wants and right now it wants food." He said as he hoped she wouldn't get upset with him for how rude his stomach had been. He sighed knowing it was still going to be a while before they could eat. He started setting the outside table as he lite the candles and tinki torches so they could have some light. The sun was setting and it would be dark soon. He looked out at the waves and smiled. It would be a lovely way to end the day. However before he could get any other ideas his stomach let out another loud growl. " Hey I'll feed you when it's time chill out!" He yelled at his stomach as he rolled his eyes.

Jesse chuckled, "Well Nancy wasn't going to let me work unless I took a vacation. I guess she thinks I work too much." Jesse answered. "Yes, I'm glad I did too. I didn't think I'd see you on this vacation. I thought it was just going to be Lex and myself just taking it easy. He'd be surfing and I would probably be reading or solving mind puzzles." he said and laughed softly. He looked at her and smiled softly, "I'm having a great time Radiant. You want to go to other places? What other places did you have in mind?" Jesse asked. He was curious to know what other places Radiance would want to vacation at. Maybe someday he could take her there. Jesse blushed softly and looked at the ocean. "A fairy tale love?" he asked and frowned slightly. "There is no such thing. Those are perfect and there is no way any love can be perfect. Well it can be, figuratively of course but there will always be bumps along the road." Jesse explained and kissed her cheek softly. "If you keep being so sweet you're going to get more kisses." he warned playfully and watched as the sun started to set.

The silence was broken when Lex's stomach decided to speak up. Faida looked at his stomach and laughed. "Well I hope your stomach can wait a few minutes for the food to be ready. It will be worth the wait I promise." Faida replied and watched Lex leave. She wanted to go after him, but she had a pizza to watch. "I hope Radiance and Jesse haven't forgotten about their sweets and dinner." Faida said to herself as she checked the time.

Radiance smiled and blushed hearing what Jesse had to say. She wanted to speak up but found she couldn't. She just smiled as her cheeks grew brighter from her blush. She finally looked away to the ocean as she saw how late it had gotten. " w..we should head back. It's getting rather late." She managed to get out as she gently took his hand lacing her fingers with his. She wanted to pick on him some and test his theory on the kisses however her nerves wouldn't allow her to. She felt the butterflies in her stomach again because of Jesse. He always seemed to have that effect on her. Besides she knew Faida and Lex would be expecting them soon.

Jesse noticed that Radiance had become nervous again because she wasn't looking at him anymore and he noticed she was blushing. "Yes I guess we should." he agreed and held her hand in his. Jesse started walking back with her to the house, wondering how the pizza was turning out and if any of the sweets had been taken. "You shouldn't be so nervous around me you know. I'm a regular person, I'm not a celebrity." Jesse said as he looked over at the water, the waves gently splashing against the rocks. It really was peaceful outside, maybe he'd enjoy solving some puzzles tomorrow out here.

Radiance smiled as she heard him. She looked at him as she laughed and shook her head. " It's not the same kind of nervousness. Your the only person that can make me blush and get butterflies in my stomach. I guess honestly I feel that way at times with you because of the feelings I have for you. I happen to love you Jesse. I know it sounds crazy and we haven't been together long but I do care for you deeply. So it's a good thing I'm nervous because it's due to the feelings I have for you. When you kiss me it make the butterflies in my stomach appear. Because your kisses you drive me wild." She said softly as she softly kissed him suddenly. She smiled as the kiss faded and blushed brighter turning and leaving him there as she hurried inside.

Jesse listened carefully to what Radiance was saying and now it was his turn to blush. She loved him? He didn't know what to say at the moment. Her confession and kiss caught him off guard. Jesse watched her run off and frowned slightly. Picking up a small rock, he threw it into the ocean and walked back into the house. He could smell the pizza being made as he walked over to his room and pulled out a puzzle book and a pencil. Sitting on his bed, he started to work quietly.

Faida was watching the pizza closely and checked the time every so often. When the time came to take out the finished pizza, Faida turned off the oven and wondered how exactly she was going to take it out without burning herself. She needed a mitt. Looking around, Faida grabbed one and put it on then opened the oven and took out the pizza before placing it on top of the stove to let it cool. "I think the pizza is done!" Faida called out.

Radiance smiled as she heard Faida call out. She appeared in the kitchen as she smiled and sniffed the air. " It smells so good Faida!" She said meaning it as she looked outside and saw that the table had been set already. "Did you want me to make up a salad to go with it?" Radiance asked wondering if anyone wanted to have a salad with their meal. She had noticed that Jesse had seemed to head off on his own and wondered if she had done something wrong. She looked towards his room but chose to start fixing drinks for everyone. If she had done something wrong surely he would let her know at some point.

Lex smiled as he kissed Faida's cheek looking at the pizza. " That smells wonderful my Queen!" He said as he turned seeing Radiance appear on cue. He laughed as he heard her. " Sure why not. I'll go get Jesse. I'm not sure if he heard or not." He said as he walked to Jesse's room. He knocked on the door as he slowly popped his head in. " Hey the pizza is done. Fadia has it on the stove cooling. I believe Radiance is going to make a salad to go with it. Is there anything you would like to add to the meal? " Lex asked as he smiled and look at the room. " So did you and Radiance have a good evening? You know we thought you two might have got lost there for a little while. " He said as he looked to Jesse trying to see if Jesse felt like talking or if he was just tired.

Faida smiled, "Oh yes please! That would be really nice." she said as she cleaned up any mess she saw. Faida smiled at the kiss and looked at Lex. "I am very happy to see that it turned out perfect. I hope it tastes as good as it looks." she said and watched him leave. Faida hoped that everyone would like the pizza, she had a lot of fun making it and hoped to cook some more in the future.

Jesse was concentrating really hard on a math puzzle in his book, tapping his pencil against his chin. "So then that can't be three, so then is it five?" he said to himself and frowned. Jesse looked up when he heard a knock on his door. When he saw it was Lex, he put down what he was doing. "Oh, okay I'll be right there." he said and looked back down at the puzzlebook but closed it. "Oh...uhhh yeah I think we did. It was...surprising." he said quietly and frowned. "I assume you and Faida had fun?" Jesse asked, wanting to change the subject.

Lex stared at Jesse as he saw a frown on his face. " Are you sure your ok? I know I'm not the brightest person but you don't seem happy. Did Radiance do something to upset you? You know if you don't want to talk about it that's fine. But if just want someone to listen to you I'm here for you. I know the new Radiance and Faida are a little different from the girls we remember but they are still there at the same time. The parts I loved about Faida are still there. Though it pains me she wont remember her true self. But maybe it's for their well being they don't. I wouldn't want her missing her friends and her wings or that side of her. At least I know she is safe this way from any other crazy blood thirsty angels. It's ok if you are a little lost and unsure I feel the same way. I don't know what memories where given to them and I'm sure the Sheriff feels the same way. I have a feeling though that we are the only three that know the truth. It's a lot to take in. So let's just try one day at a time man. " He said as he smiled softly. " I'll leave you alone I'll go help the girls finish plating the food." He said softly as he turned and left sensing that Jesse might want some alone time.

Radiance smiled as she walked to the fridge and started pulling out the different things she needed to make a good salad. She worked on cleaning the greens for it then chopping them. She sung to herself as she worked chopping up different meats to add into the salad. She then added in peas, croutons, and cheese along with the dressing. She layered each part of the salad making a beautiful layered salad. She finished the top with a layer of dressing and chopped up some black olives finely and sprinkled in the middle with a dusting of crushed croutons across the top to make it look impressive. She found peace in cooking and grabbed a big serving spoon putting into the large glass bowl she had chosen to use so everyone could see the layers of the salad. She took the salad to the table and sat it down. She then went inside and cleaned up her area. She turned and smiled as she watched Lex as she headed out to the table and took her seat excited to try Faida's amazing creation.

"I'm fine Lex,don't worry about me I'm perfectly fine." he muttered. I am perfectly fine Lex. I don't feel like I should bug you or anyone else with my damned issues. he thought to himself as he listened to Lex talk. Jesse only sighed when Lex left and picked up his cellphone. He dialed Nancy's number and decided to go meet the others. "H-hey Nancy, what's up?" he asked softly and ran his hand through his hair. "Not much...just here, solving puzzles. Trying to relax. How's work? Is the place clean? Are customers happy? Do I still have a job?" he asked and for once smiled. "Ah well that's good, I'm glad." Jesse said and blinked. "What is it? Why can't you tell me now? Oh come on we're friends, what is it? Is it good or bad?" Jesse asked and listened. "Good? Hmmm...is it a promotion maybe?" he asked and smirked as he walked over to the table. "Well I really don't want or deserve one. You should give it to someone else. I love my current job, I don't need a new one." Jesse said and frowned again hearing Nancy. "Fine we'll discuss it when I get back. Bye-bye." Jesse said and hung up.

Faida looked over at Jesse who was the last one to take a seat and noticed that he didn't seem too happy. She wondered if something happened or if Jesse had been fired. No, if Jesse was fired he wouldn't be here right now would he? Faida looked over at Lex and Radiance, wondering if any of them knew what could be wrong but she didn't think they knew. "Jesse is everything alright?" she asked. "Everything is fine Faida, sorry for worrying you." was Jesse's reply.

Lex spoke up as he and Radiance reached for the salad at the same time. " Salad anyone?" He looked at Radiance as he saw her face and could tell she was worried to. He quickly started dishing out salad on everyone's plate not asking as he watched Radiance dig into her food and not even really bother to look at Jesse. She felt as awkward as he did and could tell she didn't know how to help him just as he didn't. He kept putting salad on Faida's plate hoping she would get the message to just shove it in her mouth and stop talking. Jesse didn't want to talk and he couldn't really express that to her. Lex went to get up and was surprised when Radiance jumped up as soon as he did and made a B line to the kitchen. " Oh no you don't." He said more under his breath as he chased after her.

Lex saw her already cutting the pizza on the stove as he entered the kitchen. He could tell by her face she was trying to keep busy. He sighed as he picked up the picture of water and took it out to the table. He took his seat feeling awkward again as Radiance returned with the pizza for every one. " That is a nice looking pizza." He said trying to start a conversation to get the weird feeling to go away. "Faida you out did yourself." He said as he took a piece for himself. He said a quick prayer then dug into his own food. It was so good he was in love. " OMG this is the best I've had in a while." He said meaning it as he chowed down .

Radiance kept her mouth food and her mind on other things as she sat next to Jesse. She was impressed with Faida's pizza and was in love with it as she took another slice finally getting her fill. " Oh I ate to much. That was very good Faida! You are a natural!" She said as she smiled meaning it. " I'll wash dishes it's the least I can do after such a filling meal!" She said as she smiled and looked to Lex who narrowed his eyes at her. She could tell he was wondering what was going on with Jesse. She quickly got up and walked to her room pulling out her Mp3 player and shoved the head phones in her hears and turned the music on. She then started to dance around the kitchen lost in her own little world as she cleaned.

"Are you sure you're alright? You seem-" Faida stopped when she saw the salad and smiled, happily starting to eat it. It was good and she was sure it would go good with the pizza. When Radiance returned with the pizza, she grabbed a slice and poured herself some water. She was very happy as she took a bite of the delicious pizza, she had forgotten all about her worries regarding Jesse.

Jesse smiled and thanked Lex for the salad. Salad was always something he could eat, it was so light and good for you. When the pizza arrived, he took one slice and took a bite happily before pouring himself some water and drinking it. "Lex is right, this pizza is really good. You know, it's not easy to make a pizza but you did a great job Faida." Jesse said honestly and continued eating.

Faida blushed at the compliments, "Thanks you guys. You're right Jesse it can be hard but I found it easy. Well not super easy but it wasn't too difficult either. I had fun making it and hopefully I can make more pizzas in the future. I just have to figure out what kind of pizza toppings." Faida commented softly. Soon everyone finished and the pizza was gone, it made her very happy to see that they all liked it. She frowned slightly when she saw Radiance quickly leave but knew better than to bother her sister so she remained put.

Lex smiled at the others as he looked at their meal. " Well we have plenty of dough left from tonight for you to make a few more pizzas. So pretty lady you'll have to make up your mind what you want. " He said as he smiled warmly at Faida. " I'll help clean up and then bring out desert." He said kindly as he stood and started gathering the left overs. There wasn't much left over and it was surprising. He organized her everything on the kitchen island once he got done bringing things from inside. He was surprised when Radiance helped him put things away and took all the dirty dishes and washed them. He noticed that she had managed to even put a plate full of the cookies in the oven on low to warm up and Jesse's browns to do the same. He watched as she pulled out some ice cream from the fridge and made ice cream sandwiches with the cookies and for Jesse she made a large bowl with brownies in it and topped with a large scoop of ice cream. She lovingly broke some brownies and placed them around the ice cream and put a little chocolate sauce on the top with some whip cream for Jesse.

Lex smiled as he got three small plates and took them outside as he took his seat. He watched as Radiance brought out the bowl for Jesse and the plate for everyone else to enjoy. "These look really tasty Radiance!" He said as he stared at the ice-cream sandwich she had made. " We will have to start walking every where if you two keep this up. Jesse and I aren't big guys. However if you two keep feeding us like this Jesse and I will have to go on diets. " He said playing of course as he looked down at his ice cream sandwich. " So who has ideas for what we should do tomorrow?" He asked biting into his desert. His eyes widen in surprise as he looked down at the sandwich. It was the perfect combo. He wasn't sure when Radiance learned to bake but her cookies where spot on with the ice cream. " When we get back you have got to move in with us. This is so good! Forget your own shop we aren't letting to two of you leave the house! With cooking and baking like you two do someone else would try and steal you from us. " He said as he laughed softly playing around partly.

Radiance looked over to Jesse for a moment wondering if he would enjoy his treat she had made for him. She was worried she had upset him some how by telling him how she felt. It pained her to see him this way. She looked back to the plate of ice cream sandwiches and then to Lex as she smiled. She looked to her sister and tried to give her a honest smile not wanting her sister to worry. " No thanks you are Faida's to keep in line. Besides Jesse likes his privacy and his house kept in a orderly fashion. I'm sure after a while you would be tired of us and wish for us to go back to our own home. " She said softly as she smiled. " Besides I don't see the Sheriff agreeing with that idea of yours. You already aren't on the best of terms with him do you really want to push it. I mean you are dating his daughter and she is his pride and joy. I'm afraid he'd kill you if you tried your idea without his blessing. And honestly I don't want to have to be suck with you for weeks to a month trying to heal you. You are stubborn and a down right pain as a patient. Because knowing you I'd have sedate you constantly so you wouldn't leave your bed. I really have no idea how my sister handles you. You are a great guy but your always on the go. I guess that's why you two are so perfect for one another." She said as she laughed and smiled happily.

"Oh humm, please excuse me everyone." She said as she heard her cell phone going off. She walked to her room as she picked up her phone seeing it was from the hospital. "Hello, yes this is she. Oh? huh....have you tried a x ray....really? That is troublesome. What did the other Doctor say? I see......what are the symptoms again? Give me one moment please." She said as she walked over to her dresser and pulled out the large medical books she had brought with her. She flipped through them looking for any clues as to what could be causing the symptoms. " Ah!!! Ok I think I might have found something. I bet you haven't tested for a bacterial infection have you? Try putting them on a high dose. Yes you read my mind. Please keep me updated. No it's no bother. I'm glad you called. " She said politely as she felt her blood run cold another voice coming on the line. "Oh Sir no I.....I will give it thought. I'll be back soon enough and we can talk about everything." She said as the other end of the line went dead. She looked over at the papers she had brought with her. She sighed as she pulled out papers for becoming admin of the hospital. She sighed as she started reading them thoroughly. She wanted to talk with Jesse but after the way things had went earlier she wasn't sure it was a good idea.

Maybe she had blew her relationship with him by admitting her real feelings for him. But then again she shouldn't have to hide how she felt either. There where more fish in the sea or that's what Nancy said. If she took the admin job she wouldn't have to worry about seeing him or anyone else other than the hospital staff. The pay would be nice she could save it up and on her vacation she could go to japan and pairs. However would it make her happy. She read the papers and made notes on a scrap paper on the ideas she had as admin to improve the hospital and the work conditions. However her mind was still wanting to think about her relationship with Jesse. They hadn't really been on a honest date and he really never had been good about handling feelings. But he was so sweet and genuine when he did get over his moods of pushing people out. Like today he had been so sweet and kind for the most part but one thing she said and he just closed up. She cared for him but she was starting to wonder was it enough. She wanted to be his but how could she if he kept closing up all the time. The real question was did he really care about her at this point. Maybe it was for the best that she didn't take their relationship serious as she had thought it was. Maybe they just needed to be friends and see where it went or maybe that's how she should see it as. That way there would be no one getting hurt.

Jesse couldn't help but laugh at what Lex said, and boy did it feel good to laugh. "Oh no, is that what they have been planning all this time?" he asked as he took a bite of the yummy looking brownie dessert Radiance had set in front of him. "Tomorrow?" Jesse repeated and thought for a second. "I'm pretty sure you and Faida will probably go do something extreme like..well I don't know." he started. What did he want to do tomorrow? Besides solving puzzles, it would really be nice for the four of them to do something. They were all so different though so it was hard to find something that they would all like to do.

"Oh a movie! We should watch a movie yes? I think that would be fun!" Faida commented. "Yeah but what movie would you all want to watch?" Jesse asked. "W-well I am not sure but we could always look through all the movies available and choose one. Or we could go spend time out in the town, go on like a little doubledate?" Faida suggested and Jesse shrugged. "I'm fine with whatever you all want. As long as we all can just have a good time." Jesse answered and took another bite of the dessert.

" Sounds like a plan. I think any of those should be fine. Or we could just do them all. Besides we can all take turns doing stuff we like. I think I speak for all of us when I say we would rather spend time together than apart. Besides Faida and I can surf later that evening. How about we go down town tomorrow. There should be some really good book shops that you might enjoy Jesse. And there will be different things for everyone so it could be a win for everyone. Besides we are here to have fun." He said as he smiled wondering if Radiance was done with her phone call or not. Jesse seemed ok now he wondered what had gotten into Jesse earlier.

"Well yes spending time together would be nice wouldn't it?" Jesse asked and frowned. "You sure taking me to a bookstore would be a good idea? I don't want to ignore any of you, if I enter a bookstore you know I won't be leaving it for a while." Jesse reminded and eventually finished his dessert. "I'll clean up you guys. But first I need to go talk to Radiance." he said and excused himself before looking for her. When he found her, he knocked on her wall. "We need to talk." he said seriously.

Radiance looked up as she heard Jesse. " Come in by all means. Just give me a moment to clear you off a place to sit. Sorry the hospital called. They needed my help." She said as she tried to move all her notes and her papers for the admin job. She wasn't sure she really wanted to talk but she knew they needed to. She could tell by how he said it she was going to regret this talk and this night. Everything told her that she wasn't wrong to worry.

"I don't need to sit, I'm going to be quick." Jesse said and sighed. "I want you to take the Admin job." he started. "I know it would mean that we'd not see each other for a long while and I'm okay with that. I want you to be happy and clearly you aren't happy right now so maybe this admin job will be what really makes you smile." he said and smiled sadly and leaned against the wall. "You deserve this job, they offered it to you for a reason. Besides, you might end up meeting some guy there that actually makes you laugh and smile, someone who really makes you happy because I know I can't Radiance. I can't and it isn't fair to you to just stay with me because you think you love me. It's not fair to anyone okay?" Jesse explained.

Jesse's words hit Radiance like a stack of bricks. She didn't know what to say or do. She felt everything in her suddenly shatter as she heard him. She looked down at the papers she had been working on as she fought back tears. " If you didn't care about me then why act like you did. I don't think I love you. I know I do. But that is meaningless I see. Ok well then I have things I need to do then. I've been wrote off because I said I loved you what happen to the man that was so sweet to me this evening. Does it matter? I'm so stupid." She said as she tried to hide the tears that had started to leak out from her eyes as she rushed to throw all her things into her bag. She picked up her phone as it went off again. "H-Hello? N...no it's not a....bad time.. No...I...stubbed my toe is all." She lied as she tried not to fall apart. I'm on my way to one of the hotels to use their fax and printer. " She said as she hung up the phone.

Radiance pushed pasted him as she hurried out to her Explorer. She threw her bag will her books and papers into her front seat beside her as she buckled up and started up her car. She looked up as she saw rain starting to fall. " Great matches my mood. " She said as she backed out of the driveway. She tried not to cry as her radio started playing heartbreak song. She had to pull over half way to the main island as she broke down and cried. She cried until she couldn't cry anymore. The rain just poured like her tears. She was a complete mess by the time she managed to get to a hotel. She knew she must have looked terrible by how the host was treating her. The entire staff looked worried and gave her keys to a suit where she could be alone to handle her business. She had managed to find one of the five star hotels. It was expensive but she had plenty of money to afford it. She was sure this would be the only place she could use a fax and printer in peace and in her room. She managed to get her laptop in her hurry honestly impressed she had managed that.

The staff where kind and showed her to her suit. She walked over to the desk and set up her lap top as she pulled out her books and papers. She sat there and cried as she waited for the papers to come through. He really didn't care about her. How could he say that. That hurt more than anything was he acted like it was nothing. She loved him. She was so stupid to think he would want her. Radiance heard her phone go off as she picked it up. "what?" She asked through tears as the voice on the other line let her know she hadn't sent them the number. "Oh...here it is." She said giving them the number to fax everything to. She looked up after about a hour or two as she heard a knock at the door.


She was surprised when one of the staff members came in with new clothes for her and hot cocoa and chocolate chip cookies. She saw there was a basket of toiletries and even hair brush and some makeup. There was even a coloring book and crayons. There was a note for her saying if she needed anything to let them know. She noticed there was even warm looking bedroom shoes. She smiled as she looked down at her soaked clothes. She thanked the man as she walked to the bathroom and took herself a nice hot shower finally crying out the last of the tears she had. She got out and put on the new clothes and the warm robe and bed room shoes. She walked back to her computer as she felt a tad better. She looked down at her phone as pictures of her and Jesse came up without thinking she threw the phone against the wall shattering it into pieces.

She tried to calm down but she didn't want any reminders of him at this point. She picked up her room phone and called the hospital giving them her room number to call. Radiance spent the night there working focusing on her job trying to put Jesse in the past where apparently he belonged or felt he did. She unplugged her phone letting the hospital staff know she was going to bed and they could just fax her whatever they needed she needed some sleep she had had a long and rough day.She climbed into the over sized soft warm bed and fell asleep.


Lex had walked back to ask Radiance a question when he over heard what Jesse had said. His mouth fell open as he watched Radiance suddenly burst from her room. He managed to slide into another room to get out of her way as he watched her leave. He walked out to follow her but stopped. He turned as he looked back to Jesse not believe what he heard . He ran to the door as he heard a storm blowing in. " This isn't good." He said as he pulled out his phone running to the kitchen as he pulled out a notebook with numbers in it. Hours had past and they hadn't heard anything he tried to call her cell but the voice mail never picked up. He kept calling around until he finally found the place where she had managed to get to. " Thanks man I'm sorry for bothering you. So she made it safely? No she's family can you take care of her until morning and we'll come get her? There was a miss communication I believe. Thank you." Lex said as he hung up his phone and walked to the bed room and plunged it up to charge it.

He walked back out as he looked for Faida. " Don't worry I found her Faida. She is safe and has been working the entire night it appears. One of my friends owns the hotel well his family owns the chain of them. He said she came in and looked rather upset. Apparently Radiance scared the staff they thought she had a wreck she looked so upset. My friend promised me he would keep her safe and take care of her until we can get there. " He said not sure what to do. " Jesse....why would you say that to Radiance?" He finally managed to ask still not believing what he had said. " Jesse you love her why would you say something like that? I'm sure she was going to leave regardless tonight because of the nature of her work but why did you tell her she is better off with someone else? Jesse I-......" He went quiet as he looked to Faida. " It's not like you is all and I hope your sure about those words. Because you might not be able to take those words back. I don't think now is the time to say such things. Besides what happens if they call her back? Your going to just end it this way? " he said as he shook his head. He knew that he couldn't say what he really wanted to say because Faida was there. They had no memory and he knew Jesse was in pain but this was not the answer. " I just hope you know what your doing Jesse. " He said softly as he looked to Faida. " Come on My Queen let me put you to bed. I promise in the morning we'll go get Radiance and go where ever you want for breakfast. " He said as he looked to Jesse and closed his eyes shaking his head.

"Well Lex, because it's true. Why else? I think Radiance needs to take that Admin job, it will open so manyy doors for her and she really will find someone better. Not a stupid waiter like me who doesn't even know what he wants anymore. I don't love her Lex, I don't even know her. You know what I mean...goodnight." Jesse muttered and left to his room where he locked the door and broke down. He didn't do this because he wanted to, he did it because he wanted her to be happy and it wasn't working out between them. Radiance was gone, his sweet Radiance was gone and he wasn't getting her back any time soon, but she would be happy, she would earn more and who knows, she might even get another promotion in a few years if all went well. He really was stupid, he wasn't sure how he was going to go back to work after this but he'd push through. At least he'd be distracted.

Faida frowned but at least they knew where she was. None of this made sense but they had their reasons, well she believed so anyway. Listening to Lex, Faida left to her room and closed the door behind her to get dressed for bed. They would see her sister tomorrow, she could only imagine what state she was in. At least she was safe, that was what mattered. "Oh daddy what do I do?" she asked herself as she stared out the window and sat on her bed.

Lex was going to hold Faida but was surprised when she shut her door. He sighed as he walked outside and punched one of the wooden beams helping to hold up the roof. He screamed out frustrated as he cracked it clearly into. He cursed as he screamed out as the rain poured. Lex fell to his knees as he just sat there and finally broke down. He sat there as the blood from his knuckles mixed with the rain and sand. He finally got up after a while as he went into the house to his own room. He bandaged up his hand and changed into warm clothing. He walked to Radiance room as he cleaned it up seeing she had been in a hurry to get out. He felt guilty as he looked around her room. They had been giving such good memories and then this.

It didn't matter what Jesse said it was still Radiance and Princess and he had a feeling she was going to be in pieces. They had promised to keep them happy. Radiance loved Jesse and he had a feeling she wouldn't just get over this and she wouldn't want to come back. He folded her clothes and picked up everything packing her suit cases. He walked to the kitchen as he picked up the house phone and called his friend.

" Hey yea it's me. Can you rent me out the second suit. I might need them for a few days to get everything situated. No my partner it's his girl they had a spat. Dude I'm not sure anymore. But she is like a little sister to me. I want you to pick up some things for me for her. Have them sent to her room in the morning. She likes pancakes if you wanting to spoil her. She's a good girl so makes sure no one bothers her. " He said as he gave his friend the list. " I'm sorry for calling you so late. Thank you." He said as he hung up the phone and
went to bed.


Radiance slept through then night and most of the morning. She woke as she heard knocking at her door. She slowly walked to it and open it as she saw a handsome young man in a business suit there. The man smiled warmly at her. He bowed to her as she steeped aside and let him in the a large buggy of things. The man smiled warmly as he then walked out and came back with a tray full of pancakes shamed like roses. They where beautiful he had fresh strawberries and whip cream for her to go with it. She couldn't help but smile as she looked over at all the stuff he had brought in. She was surprised as she saw lovely clothes and a huge stuffed teddy bear and boxes of chocolate.

ELIAS smiled softly as he saw the girl look over the things Lex had requested. " Lex said to get these for you. He said you had a very bad night. I am sorry to hear that. He said if I wanted to spoil you that you liked pancakes. " Elias said as he looked around the room. He saw the phone in pieces and all the papers scattered on the floor. He then looked back to her as he saw her eyes. He frowned as he saw how sad and heart broken she looked. " Lex wouldn't like seeing you like this and neither do I. A rose as beautiful as you shouldn't look so sad. You are far to beautiful to be crying." He said softly as he gently caressed her face gazing into her eyes. "I know that look all to well and those tears. I take it the phone was the innocent victim of a broken heart. " He said as he gently let go of her and walked over to the desk starting to pick up all the papers.

" Ah working I see I bet it didn't help you feel any better did it?" He said knowing the answer already. " I'm Elias Caspian of Whales. Or Duke Elias if one wishes to get formal. " He said as he smiled softly putting everything in a neat pile. " Lex and I grew up together believe it or not. He was like a brother to me. I can tell you that working doesn't fix your shattered heart. And I'm sorry that any man would dare to make such a beautiful women like yourself cry. " He said meaning it as he walked over to her. " I am the owner here and many others like these. My staff where worried and then Lex called to my surprise. A word of advice find a gun range and become a member. Or start mosaic breaking the glass for it will help. Also it's ok to cry and to be upset. But don't forget yourself and remember your beautiful just the way you are and you didn't do anything wrong. Most people blame themselves and most of the time they haven't done anything wrong it's the other person. Normally the other person has some things they need to work through. So don't beat yourself up. " He said warmly as he walked to the door. " I picked up some hoodies for you in bright colors and some sweat pants and shorts or my female staff did. I had her pick up a rainbow bracelet for you and another for your best friend. Most girls here love the rainbow hoodies and pairing them with sweat pants or shorts. Since your having a off day why not try it. There are some flip flops in there for you to try. If you need anything my number is on the card. It's my personal number. My staff has been told to leave you alone. Lex will be here soon. I take it he plans on having someone stay with you the suit next to yours is rented out to him. I took the liberty to rent out the rest of this floor so you could be alone. If you like I'll have all the papers coming switched to my office so my privet secretary will keep them in a locked filing cabinet for you. Right now you need to fix yourself and try to be happy. Work will always be around. I hope you enjoy your breakfast." He said as he bowed and left.


Radiance was surprised as she watched the handsome young man. She could tell by how he acted he had been through something painful. She smiled softly as she took note at what he said. " Thank you." She said softly as he left her there. She looked down at the pancakes and then walked over to the basket as she pulled out the card and smiled. The man was really sweet just like Lex. She looked through the things as she laughed and cried at the same time. She loved the over sized bear as she picked it up and put it on the bed and hugged up to it. She wondered where Lex learned about this. But she had a feeling Faida had taught him more than she knew. She smiled as she finally sat up and started to eat. The man had a point just crying and feeling the pain wasn't going to make her feel better neither was hiding in her work. It was really kind of him and his staff to do this for her. She would have to leave them all something really nice.

The following morning, Jesse woke up very early, took a quick shower and got dressed before picking
up his pencil and puzzle book. He walked outside, glad the rain had stopped and looked out at the sun that was just starting to rise. It was nice to see, not nice to see it alone but he had to move on as well. Looking down at the book, Jesse opened to the page he left off on and started to work on it. "Three goes...here." he said to himself.

Faida hardly got any sleep, waking up the next morning she realized she had been crying in her sleep. Faida frowned and took a shower then changed into a cute dress and some warm boots because she felt cold. She walked out of her room and headed into the kitchen where she decided to work on breakfast, hoping that the boys would be hungry today.
