Lex finally woke as he heard noises in the house. He open his eyes as he found his hand really hurt. He looked at it as he saw the bandages. " Oh yea." He said as he sat up and frowned thinking about last night. He turned as he heard his phone going off. He got up as he walked over and saw he had a text from Elias. He smiled faintly seeing that Elias had checked on Radiance. He had took her breakfast and picked her up some clothing. Lex walked to his dresser as he picked out his clothes and then went to take a shower. He sighed as he tried to wake up. He got dressed and headed to the Kitchen where he found Fadia. He gently wrapped his arms around her waist as he softly kissed her cheek hugging her from behind. " Good Morning my Queen.' He said to her as he looked at what she was doing." Mmm breakfast?" He asked as he reluctantly let go of her. " After yesterday I'm not sure group outing is the best idea. I rented out the room next to Radiance for myself so you could stay with your sister. I figure you and her would want to share a room. If you want I'll stay there with you two and travel back and forth from here with Jesse to there with you guys. I think your sister needs you. As much as it pains me Jesse isn't one to open up and we'll just make him madder I feel if we try and reason with him right now. I can try but I don't think it will get any where. Besides I'm thinking having a girls day today would be good for you both. I could spoil you both. I can see if Jesse want me to drop him off at the book store. I can drive us all to the hotel and give him my truck and we can use Radiance Explorer. I'm so sorry my Queen. I..I didn't see this. I feel like a dush for inviting you for this. I don't understand myself. Radiance is Radiance now and then. I don't like seeing either one in pain. I know Radiance would try and act ok with Jesse being there but I don't think either one of them really would be. Tell me what you want my Queen." He said softly to her wanting her opinion.

Faida listened to Lex while she focused on the breakfast that she was making, scrambled eggs and french toast. "I think my sister would rather be alone. If i try to talk to her I don't think anything will get solved. What I think is that they need some time to really think where their relationship is going. If there is no love we can't force them to stay together you know. I just wish they would love each other like before. They seemed so happy not too long ago and now this." Faida said, her eyes not leaving the food she was working on. "None of this is your fault. You didn't know this was going to happen so you shouldn't blame yourself. At least try to talk to him. Breakfast is almost done so you should probably go tell him that, he's probably still sleeping." Faida commented quietly.

"Then you should go talk with your sister. Give her call I think you might be surprised. Remember you and her are family and she would do anything for you Faida. Besides Elise said surprisingly she she seemed calm. " He said as he peered outside and saw Jesse. He sighed as he headed outside. He looked out at the beautiful ocean and enjoyed the view. " It's a lovely morning. So have you reconsidered what you sad last night? You know Radiance hasn't left so there is still time to change your mind. What happen to the Jesse who was ready to do anything to have Radiance back? You got your wish and now your throwing it away? Radiance loved you as a waiter. Yea she is a little different but that never hurt anyone. So Is Faida but the women I loved is still there. The reason I loved her is still there. They have different memories but at lest they where given good memories. We both know you love that girl and we both know that it will kill you if you let her go. I remember last time and how it wrecked your world. I'm your friend Jess and I might be the only damn family you have that gives a damn about you. I don't want you in pain. I know you love Radiance but your damn wrong about this. They came back as humans for us and if Radiance every woke up do you think this is what she wanted when she traded in her wings? We promised to make them happy. I can tell you this wont make her happy. But I'm your friend and if this is your wish so be it. But I know it's going to kill you. Radiance doesn't really want this job or whatever you where talking about. What she wanted was to know if you loved her and if she should give up and do something where she could be with you more. Most men would die to have a girl like that. That's love that's not something you can make up or even memories can change. She made you your own desert and was trying to be sweet. Sometimes i wonder if our just afraid of success. I don't know how to help you and that's all I want. If your sure about Radiance then what can I do to help you get through this vacation? You know my dirty secret about my family so money isn't a problem. I don't know how much longer Radiance will be here any how. I think you where the main reason she came. That man on the phone seemed like he really wanted her to make a choice. Man Faida is going to be devastated if Radiance leaves. What happen if we all fall apart? "

Ten years had flown bye as Radiance sat in the back seat of the car. She thought about the day she had met Elise and how kind he had been even then. She thought about the afternoon when she had gotten her hair dyed for the first time and fell in love with hoodies and flipflops. It made her smile to think about that. However her heart still hurt every time she thought about that vacation. This was the first time in ten years she would be going home to stay more than a week and leave. She was excited to see her sister and Lex. Lex planned on purposing to Faida and had asked her to help plan the wedding. She of course couldn't refuse such a request. She was so happy to know that Lex loved her sister so much. He had spoiled her with trips to Italy and was always helping her around the house.


She stared out he window as she saw the mountains and the rain started to fall. " I'm home." She said as she looked up seeing the place she had known for so long. She had been around the world but no place ever felt right. Just like no man's arms ever felt like home to her. Elise was the only man who could even come close to Jesse but even he knew he wasn't Jesse and Radiance couldn't love him the way he deserved to be loved. She and Elise had become good friends instead. Elise had the same problem with the women that left him. To this day his heart was still hers. It was nice to have someone who understood how it felt but sad at the same time. She and Elise had started forming their business plans around one another and started going places together and learning things together. It was nice but in her heart it wasn't right. She had longed left the Admin position getting a even better one. Now she was working for the government or had been. She had to many close calls in the past year. The last one was out on the front line with troops. She had saved many lives and there where many thankful men and families however she had nightmares from what she had seen.

With the news about Faida and Lex and the recommendation from several doctors it was time for her to come home. She had other close calls that haunted her from some of her other work in other countries. It was strange to think back about her life. She had seen so much and did so many things but none of it really seemed to matter to her. When she had been shot and had been purposely infected it wasn't Elise that she wanted it was still Jesse. She had screamed out for him so many times that Elise couldn't face her anymore. He had tried to love her but after that he couldn't stand knowing how badly she wanted Jesse still. To this day she was stupid because all she wanted was Jesse. Everything here reminded her of him. Where ever she went everything and everyone looked like him no matter where she went. She knew she was stupid for holding on but a heart wanted what it wanted.

Radiance smiled softly as she saw the town. She smiled as she saw her and Faida's house still there. The driver pulled to a stop as he walked around and open the door for her helping her out of the car. She still hadn't recovered fully from the gun shot and had a temporary cane she hoped. The man helped her and shut the door after her as he hurried to the trunk to get her things. She smiled as she slowly made her way to the front door. After ten years she wondered if her sister was as happy to see her as she was to see her sister. Because of her jobs she couldn't stay with her sister like she wanted to. And after her last posting she wasn't sure if her sister wanted to see her. The government had screened her calls and wouldn't tell her family what had happen to her over in the war zone just that she had been hit. She had cried out for her sister and father for days while under the drugs from the different surgeries. When she had been released Elise had been the one taking care of her until she could get home. However he couldn't bare to see the pain she was in and her nightmares. Radiance didn't blame him one bit he had tried to be there for her. After that it was determined that she was longer fit for her job. So they retired her here. Lex had said he would help look for her a job here. Or a property she could buy and open that bakery. She had talked about. Those many years ago. She had nothing but time now. For all that she had seen and done also had to show for it was scares.


Lex hurried through the house as he knocked on Jesse's door. " Hey Radiance is going to be here today. I cleaned up the house for you and left you some lunch and dinner. It would be nice to see you at the dinner tonight for her. " He said as he feared speaking those words. " You should know she may not be how you remember. She has been through a lot in the past year. The stupid government wouldn't really tell any of us much. But Elise said her wounds are not just physical and he just couldn't bare to see her in so much pain. Elise said she had just got her version back but her walking wasn't as good as it should be. He said you have to watch her when she grabs things she loses grip of things still. Elise said that if anyone could help her it was you. " He said as he sighed outside the door.

"I know I'm wasting my time but your still my friend. I thought you might like to know Radiance is home. I just want you to know if you see her what had happen. I left you notes and phone calls but I wasn't sure you got them. I thought it might just be good for us all to hang out. Besides it's a small town we are all bound to run into each other anyways. I need to head out and get over to the house to help get her settled. I hope Elsie is wrong. I wanted her home but not like this and I'm sure Faida didn't either. You know she already wants a job and we know she is hard headed so if you can think of any jobs around here let me know. I promised I'll help her find one. I swear she is just like you. The doctors says she still be in bed. Elsie said she ignored them and has steadily proved them wrong. But he said she isn't as well as she looks or acts to be. I thought maybe sense hob along can't hobble away from you maybe you would like to talk. If not she'll be hobbling alone the roads I'm sure. She never could sit still. " He said as he laughed softly and looked to his phone. "Shoot it's time to go apparently she is here. Well I have my phone on me let me know. But know Faida expects to see you regardless. She wants this to be a reunion of all of us and a happy one. So I'll let her handle you and you'll face her wrath not mine if you don't show. " He said as he hurried out the door.

Ten years, that's how long it had been since the last time the four of them were together. She wondered what her sister looked like and if she was okay, it had been hard to stay in contact ever since the job her sister got but she understood it was important so Faida never complained. Faida was currently brushing out her hair which was now somewhat short. It had gotten way too long so she had it cut down and even donated the hair. She was really looking forward to seeing them all together again but she frowned when she thought of Jesse, would he even show up? He was ever rarely spending time with them, work he would always say but she didn't think it was just that. However, Faida came to learn that sometimes asking questions was the wrong thing to do.

"He better show up, and this better be a happy reunion, I don't think I can handle another disaster even though it has been ten years." Faida said to herself as she pulled on her purple heels and took one last look at herself in the mirror before walking out of her room and looking at the time, wondering when the others would arrive. It was then that she heard a car near her house and wondered who it could be. Walking to the front door, Faida slowly opened it and stared at the girl who stood there, her sister. "You look so different." she whispered quietly and frowned when she realized how hurt she looked. "Come in, you must be tired. Sit on the couch and I will get you some water." Faida said as she helped her sister to the couch.

Over the course of ten years, Jesse had left his job at the diner and began working in the family business just like his parents always wanted. It was a nice change and he still went to the diner every day before work to help Nancy clean the place before she opened. The two were still the best of friends but nothing more. Jesse had even gotten a tattoo and a tongue piercing for no real reason other than the fact that he could afford to do it. He and Lex were still great friends and he even got along with Faida but he rarely hung out with them because of work. After work Jesse would come home and do what little cleaning he felt like, his room...well he never bothered with it. He was a mess because of what happened ten years ago but he was trying to move on, he really was.

When he heard Lex at his door, Jesse put down what he was doing and listened to what Lex had to say. She was going to be here?! He was not ready to face her still even after all this time, he couldn't. "Thanks..." Jesse muttered. "Yeah...well I'll try but I have work and I don't know how late I'll stay this time. My parents like to keep me working overtime some days you know." Jesse reminded. "I'll try to convince them to let me leave early though, just because you're my friend Lex." he commented and walked to the door. Of course she wasn't going to be the same, she wasn't the same ten years ago either. "I have to look after her? H-how am I going to do that and work at the same time?" he asked but knew it was pointless to get into a discussion about this with Lex. Once Lex made up his mind there was no way he was going to change it.

"If you know you're wasting your time then why are you still here? I don't care that she's home, but at least Faida has her sister back. Big whoop." Jesse said coolly. He had changed over the years, it was very obvious but he didn't care anymore. He had stopped caring years ago. Left phonecalls, yes he had his cellphone off at all times and he left it in his room most of the time. He had gotten the notes but threw them all out without reading them. He wasn't interested in reading them. "Yes we will run into each other and when we do we can talk I guess..." Jesse said softly. "Well she should be in bed, resting like the doctor said, she's not going to get better if she doesn't do what she's told. If she wants a new job she needs to get better first and give you some ideas of ideal jobs she would want. That way it will be easier to find a job for her." Jesse said and rolled his eyes behind the door. "Right, see you whenever." he said and waited for Lex to leave before walking out of his bedroom with his cellphone in his pocket.

Radiance was surprised when she saw Faida for the first time in ten years. She had seen her before now but never for long. " Oh your so beautiful!" she said as she thanked Faida for letting her take a seat on the couch. " Wow you really changed your hair. You look like you came off a pairs runway. I see that father and Lex have been spoiling you." She said happily as she laughed and smiled. " If it's to much of a inconvenience father said I could come home and stay. I think he's just look forward to home cooking and having someone to come home to after so long. I'm surprised he isn't here yet. " She said as she laughed thinking about their father. " So where is that amazing cop of yours? I heard he threaten to beat up the secret service when the man came here to talk with you about everything. " She said softly as she smiled and laughed thinking about Lex beating up a agent. Of all the people he could she knew it. " Thank you I'm sorry for the trouble I caused. " She said softly as her smile slowly faded into a slight frown. However it quickly changed back into her lovely smile. " So how have you been? " She asked honestly wondering what her sister had been up to since the last time she had seen her.

Lex hurried to his truck as he climbed in and hurried to Faida's house. He hoped that Radiance wasn't in to bad of shape. He hated how Jesse had turned out but that was Jesse. He didn't hold his breath for Jesse to come or to even speak to Radiance. From what Elise had said Radiance was a different person maybe a weaker person than they had known. He had heard what Jesse had to say and it made him frown. After all these years he didn't give a damn about her. It bothered him because Elise had said that was the only person she screamed for constantly. Elise had tried to be what Jesse had been but he couldn't. And after what had happen Elise couldn't bare to be around Radiance anymore. It wasn't what she done it 's what had been done to her. Lex didn't know what to do about Jesse he never had. The only person who had ever had any success was the one person Jesse pushed away.

Lex pulled up as he saw the driver still getting Radiance bags it appeared. He parked his truck and rushed to help the man. The man was friendly and seemed to really care about Radiance he saw that the man took great care with her bags making sure he was gently with each one. He noticed that the man made sure none of them touched the ground. Lex offered to help and the man thanked him but refused saying it was his pleasure to do such a task for the Lady. It really impressed him how the man acted towards Radiance. The man carried her bags to the door and Lex open it and showed him up the stairs to Radiance old room. He was surprised as the man handed him a card. " Tell my lady should she ever need me she can call this number and always reach me." The man told him as he turned looking tearful and left. It was easy to see the man didn't want to leave her. Lex was surprised as he walked over to where Faida was.

"My aren't you the prettiest girl I've seen around these parts." He said to Faida meaning it as he kissed her cheek and turned as he saw Radiance. He was pleasantly surprised. She didn't look near as bad as Elise had said. " Well Princess I'd say you've changed as well. I love the hair and I'm surprised you kept it this long. But it looks good on you. So how do you like being home?" He asked as he frowned a little seeing the cane. Ten years had flew by and here they where. It was hard for him to look at Radiance because he still felt slightly guilty for her. Faida would never understand because she didn't remember being a angle and neither did Radiance. All he could see was her angle form sitting there from the battle with the sword in her chest and the blood running down ready to die to protect the people and mainly him and Jesse. It made him feel guilty as he stared at Radiance. He and Jesse where in this together and Jesse didn't care.

For Ten long years Lex had worried about Radiance and Jesse. He wondered if the other angels would punish them for breaking their vow to keep the girls happy and as he looked at Radiance now. He was sure that her friends would not approve of her current condition. However she smiled as if nothing had happen. She was different she was better. He wasn't sure if he could act the way she did after what she had been through. It pained him that Jesse didn't care but Jesse stopped caring about everything that day ten years ago. He had asked Radiance what had happen and she told him that she had made the mistake of telling Jesse she loved him that night on the beach. To this day Radiance believed it was her fault for scaring Jesse away. She had changed her hair lost weight and tried to keep up with the latest fashion. Elise had said she was trying to be the perfect women. And it looked like he was right. Unknowingly she still wanted to be good enough but no one would know guess that by looking at her unless they knew her. She was so thin she looked like she had been through hell and back. Some of the wounds her arms she tried to hide showed that she had been.

Faida blushed and nodded, "Thank-you. I did. It was getting too long so I thought I should change it. Lex seems to like it too so that's good. Even J-" she stopped herself and handed her the glass of water. "I am sure Daddy will show up eventually. He has missed you, so I know he won't pass up the chance to see you today. As for Lex, I believe he went to go talk to someone but he'll be here shortly. He promised." Faida said and laughed. "Yes he did, and you are causing no trouble at all. You are my sister and I will always welcome you with open arms and do my best to make you feel comfortable and welcomed here." Faida assured. Faida blushed and began to tell Radiance about her travels with Lex to Italy and other lovely places, making sure not to leave out anything. Seeing Lex walk into the house, Faida smiled at him and kissed his cheek. "I'm glad you kept your promise, it's so nice to see you both here it really makes me happy to be like this, the three of us together again." she said happily.

Jesse ate the lunch that Lex had made for him and then took a shower before getting dressed in his regular clothing. He quickly brushed his teeth and made sure his hair looked okay before heading out. Grabbing his car keys, he turned on his cellphone and called up his mother. "Hey, listen I can't come into work today. I know, and I'm sorry but something came up with my friends and I need to be there with them today. C'mon mom it's really important...please?" he asked and frowned. "Alright alright, I'll go and clean up. Yeah I'll work overtime tomorrow I promise. Thanks mom, love you." Jesse hung up and then texted Lex, saying he was on his way over to the house. Jesse drove to his parents' restaurant and started to easily clean up the entire place and neatly placed everything where it had to be before walking back out to his car and driving over to the pink house. Jeez how long had it been? Reaching the house he noticed Lex's truck and parked behind it. Killing the engine, Jesse stepped out of his car and made his way towards the front door then knocked on it a few times before turning off his cellphone.

Before Lex could answer his phone went off. He looked down as he smiled seeing the text. He felt he should tell Radiance when he heard a knock at the door. " Wonder who that could be." He said as he got up and walked to the door. He smiled as he saw Jesse. He had a smirk on his face as he open the door and let Jesse in. He held back his commits honestly happy and surprised to see him. He was sure that Faida was the reason that Jesse came. Though honestly with how Jesse was he wasn't sure. However it was nice to have him. " Hey I'll go make us some drinks." He said as he smiled and headed into the kitchen fixing some lemonade for Jesse, Faida, and himself. He was sure what to make of Jesse appearance but he wasn't going to question it. It was nice to see him for whatever reason he had for coming.

Radiance could tell by how Faida paused it was Jesse she had wanted to speak of. Radiance smiled warmly as she laughed softly taking the water and holding it very carefully. " It's ok Jesse is our friend." She said softly to her sister as she smiled warmly at her. She took a sip of her water as she turned her head hearing the knocks and Lex open the door. She wondered who it could be. Lex seemed a little odd at the moment. She looked to Faida wondering if she should head to her room. " If I'm intruding with some plans you two had I'll go to my room. Besides I should unpack any how." She said softly not wanting to be in their way.

Jesse noticed the look on Lex's face and rolled his eyes. "Oh come on, don't give me that look Lex." he said and walked inside and looked at Faida. "You're looking as pretty as ever Faida. Good job Lex." he said and it was his turn to smirk. He walked over to Faida and hugged her before backing away and chuckling. "I showed up because I wasn't going to pass up the chance to see you guys. I'm surprised my mom was okay with it though. Just so you know, I'll be working overtime tomorrow to make up for today." Jesse said. He figured it was better to tell them that now so they knew what to expect. When he looked at Radiance, he wasn't surprised to see her with her rainbow hair just like she had said she wanted. She looked thinner though and in a bad way. Hopefully she was eating, she couldn't possibly be that stupid and believe this is what guys wanted right?

Faida hugged Jesse and was surprised to see just how much he had changed. Looking at Radiance she frowned. "You can unpack later. I want us all to just be happy and have a good time. Are you really wanting to leave to your room already?" she asked sadly and looked at Jesse. "Overtime? Your parents are really strict aren't they?" she asked. "Very, but I'm used to it now. I tend to wake up real early and go to the diner where I help Nancy and clean the place before going to my actual job." Jesse answered honestly with a shrug which made Faida chuckle, he was still such a workaholic.

Radiance was surprised to she the strange looking man that walked in. She felt her heart start to race as she stared at him looking over his features. She stared at him not able to see that it was Jesse he had changed. She wouldn't have really known it was him if Faida hadn't said something or her heart hadn't started to race. She smiled softy as she saw Faida chuckle. " No, I'm sorry I was being polite. I thought you might have had company you wished to talk with. I know that you and Lex are rather busy people is all. But I see it's just family." She said as she smiled politely. She was happy to see that Faida was happy and it made her smile warmly as she sat up straight like a lady of class would.

Her eyes shifted as she saw Lex coming from the kitchen with the glasses for Jesse and Faida. She giggled as she watched Lex almost stumble tripping over the rug that had some how gathered. She reached out as she managed to catch one of the glasses for him. She smiled and laughed as she looked down at her. He had fallen on the floor but managed to save Faida's glass and held it up to her not a drop had fallen from it. " As charming as ever. I see your still head over heels for my sister. I'm glad to see she still has that effect on you. But really I must say this is a little much don't you think?" She said picking on him a little in a playful tone. She held out the glass to Jesse as she looked to Lex seeing the worry in his eyes. She closed her eyes as she smiled softly and then looked back to him.

" You know to this day you are easy to read. Elise told you to watch me like a hawk I see. He is worry wart I'm fine Lex. I'm not a porcelain doll. He really is a good man but his heart is to sensitive in some areas. Besides he couldn't stand to see a paper cut on me or anyone he cares about. He is a bit over dramatic don't you think? I've heard the family stories about you and seen some of the pictures he has. " She said with a devilish grin on her lips as she laughed softly. " Don't worry I only got copies of the really good ones for Faida. " She said as she smiled at him.

Lex reached out and took the glass from Radiance just to be safe as he stood and handed it to Jesse. He looked back to her as he laughed and nodded his head at her. " oh so your back less than a hour and you have jokes I see. I'd say your means as ever. Your right he can be a little over dramatic. But hey that's what you get with those English Lords after all. " He said as he did a dignified pose and lifted his nose in the air as if he was snubbing her. " Such none sense from a common peasant. I shall have you hanged." He said as he open one of his eyes looking at her before grinning and laughing . " I had so much fun getting him into trouble. You can say what you want but you two have been around the world together. I think he knows you well enough to know when your full of crap my lady. Don't think I didn't see some of those pictures from Japan with you dressed like a geisha. And Faida looks gorgeous in her Kimono you bought her. " He said as he crossed his arms over his chest.

" You really are a pain to track down. The only reason got to you before us was due to that title of his that comes before his name. I was about to get the information we needed from that one agent before he had to come in all heroic. He really gets under my skin. Always steals the show and gets the girl. He's so diplomatic it's disgusting. I swear he has only got worse over the years. I heard that your little plan worked because his ex came running back to him. But really getting shot there had to be a better way to make him look manly and appealing. I know your one for helping people but this is a little far." He said playing with her.

Jesse took the glass, he was completely lost in the conversation going on since he didn't know anything about Radiance but he wasn't about to ask what had happened. All he knew was that she needed to rest and he wasn't getting her no job until she was fully better. Looking at the lemonade, Jesse took a small drink and noticed that Radiance was staring at him. "Hello to you too Radiance. I see you stuck to that choice of rainbow hair. Looks nice." he said easily and leaned back against the wall with the glass of lemonade in his hand. This was awkward, but at least everyone seemed to be having a good time today. When he heard that she had gotten shot, he wondered what the heck kind of job she had before. Getting shot was something that happened to cops or soldiers, she wasn't any of them was she?

"Copies?" Faida repeated and wondered what exactly Radiance had coffee of. She looked over at Jesse though and wondered if he was okay. "Do you and Nancy still talk?" she asked. "We do, every day. I miss working there but I have my spot reserved. She was going to give me a promotion but I declined it and left to work for my parents instead." Jesse explained. "What? Why? What promotion?" Faida asked. "Nancy wanted to make me the assistant manager but I didn't think I deserved it. I decided to work with my parents since that's what they always wanted. It's not so bad really. At least now they aren't constantly bugging me." Jesse said and laughed. "Well it must be nice working with family, it sounds like fun." Faida pointed out.

"You have changed yourself stranger." Radiance said cutting through the other conversations as her blue eyes locked on Jesse. " Not that it's a bad look on you." She said softly as she smiled and looked back to Faida who laughed. It was pleasant to see her so happy. She started to sip her water not committing on what Jesse had said. Something hadn't changed with him it appeared. He did deserve the position and he had never really wanted to work for his parents. This person made no sense to her. But she didn't know him so she had no right to say anything. If he was happy that's what mattered. He was rather handsome even now. She closed her eyes as she scolded herself mentally. She open her eyes as she returned her glass to her lap as she sat there.

Lex looked to Jesse and Faida happy they seemed to be talking. He looked to Radiance she was full of crap he could see Elise had been right. She could play it off that it was due to where Elise had taken her to recover but the scars where there. He would joke with her now but he wasn't going to take his eyes off her. He smiled as he honestly was happy to see everyone together. It was a nice change in pace. He could see that the mood was starting to get awkward as he finally spoke up. " Hey you know Jesse Faida made you some brownies all for you. She even made us dinner. Why don't we move to the table ?"

"Well yes I guess I have." Jesse said with a shrug of his shoulders. "You're just saying that because of my clothes though, there are still things you haven't noticed which is fine because I don't like to show them anyway." Jesse explained. Listening to what Lex said, Jesse laughed and smiled. "Did she really make me brownies?" he asked and looked at Faida, you were going to use those to bribe me weren't you?" he asked her. Faida smirked. "Perhaps I was." she admitted. "Well it honestly would have worked." Jesse said. He still loved sweets, no matter how different he looked, he still loved sweets and still loved to clean and work. However, lately he hadn't been feeling like cleaning his house but it wasn't fair to have Lex clean up the mess that he himself was supposed to clean. The thought made him frown for a moment before he made his way over to the table.

Faida had enjoyed baking and cooking. It was her favorite thing to do when she was alone and it was even more fun when she had someone with her. Looking at Radiance, she helped her up off the couch. "Come sister. I'm sure you're very hungry and I'm sure Jesse wouldn't mind sharing some of the brownies with us." Faida commented softly. Hopefully today would be a good day. She didn't see why it wouldn't be though. Faida carefully led Radiance from the couch over to the table so she could sit down, she knew their father would treat her like a porcelain doll when he found out all that had happened. "You may not be a porcelain doll but you still have to take it easy." she reminded.

Radiance didn't know what to make at what Jesse said. Instead she kept her mouth shut as she looked to Faida. She followed her with no fuss but she really didn't like being treated like she was helpless. Radiance let Faida take her to the table. Once her sister was busy she got up and used her cane and walked over pulling down the plates. She held them in one hand and used her other hand for her cane as she placed the plates on the table. She walked to where the silver wear was as she got it and walked back then took her seat. Radiance said nothing as she sat her napkin and fixed her silver wear. She had no intention of relying on any one. She would never get better if she accepted she was like this. After all she was a doctor herself and she knew what she needed. She earned her degrees she couldn't say the same for the foolish doctors that diagnosed her. " I am perfectly able to walk Faida. If I don't walk on my own I wont ever learn to walk properly again. I didn't get my degree out of a cracker jack box like those foolish so called doctors the government has working for them. They said I wouldn't leave the bed. They said I was dead. They said I wouldn't survive. They said I would be blind and wouldn't walk again. I plan on going to the hospital and getting my own opinion. Besides the staff I trained are some of the best in the country. I trust them and myself over some quacks who take money over knowledge. I know you mean well but please let me do things. I have to learn to do things again. I learned to walk on my own and how to move when I couldn't see. I think I can mange it now. I plan on going to the hospital and doing therapy until I'm fully healed so you don't need to worry about me. Thank you though Faida. I love you very much and I know you mean well."

"Can we...nevermind." Jesse said and looked at Lex. "Lex you and I need to talk before I say something stupid." he said and practically pulled Lex out of there and to the living room. "I can't do this Lex. I'm sorry but I can't. I'm not going to take care of her, she obviously thinks that she can take care of herself fine. Sometimes people need to get hurt to realize that they aren't as strong as they say. I am trying to stay in a good moon but she's testing me right now and frankly I don't like it Lex! I don't get why she can't just let people help her. Why does she always have to act so...so strong when she knows she's not. I don't know, maybe I'm over reacting." Jesse said, feeling a little better after that rant.

"Well Radiance just please be careful okay? I just don't want you to end up hurting yourself. I apologize if it offended you in any way." Faida said and watched as Jesse pulled Lex out of there with him. She took this time to talk to Radiance about the new Jesse. "W-what do you think about the new Jesse? W-well you don't have to answer if you don't want to. I am just curious as always, I'm sorry." Faida apologized and checked on the dinner. It was still very hot and ready to be served.

Lex looked at Jesse as he stared at him. " Your over reacting and she is being rather nice. Jesse you don't have to look after her. I really didn't think cared. Elise just felt that maybe you could spend time with her was all he meant by that. He felt if anyone could get to her it was you. Not that you had to. I'm sorry I expressed that wrong. Don't worry if you need to go then it's fine I'm impressed you showed up honestly. It's been quiet awhile getting to see you. I don't remember her ever not being strong. I think we remember two different things. Her and Faida are very strong and always have been. It's ok to be a little upset. But she has been nothing but nice. In her defense I wouldn't trust those nut jobs from the government. She brings up a fair point though Jess. If people keep helping her how is she going to learn her limits and how is she going to push herself and have a goal to reach. Shes not being rude she's being practical if anything. We need to let her do what she can. " He said as he smiled.

"Oh I'm sorry sis, I didn't mean to upset you. It's just I need to try and do what I can. I promise not to do to much. " She said softly as she smiled and looked to the table as she heard Faida. "I'm not sure I can really say. I don't really know him. Appearances he is rather handsome . I don't know that man out there so I really can' say. I'm happy as long as your happy and he seems to make you happy. He's not the person I knew but then I really didn't know that Jesse either apparently. As long as he is happy that is what matters. I can tell he really doesn't want to be here because of me. Maybe I should go to my room so you can have a good evening with him. I don't want to upset anyone. Besides I'm home to stay so you have plenty of meals with me if you would like for me to do that. I just want you happy today. So if you want me to stay I will. Or if you want me to head to my room so Jesse wont feel so weird I can do that Sis I don't mind. I'm just happy to be home. I missed you very much. "

"Sister stop it. Both of you had a fallout and that's normal. You knew him, and he knew you but I do agree that the two of you are strangers now after not being together for ten years. This odd feeling is normal. Please don't go. I want the four of us to be happy like we used to be. If we can't be happy together anymore I need to know. I love all three of you but if the four of us can't get along I need to know so that I can plan things out a lot better. I know he's a stranger, but he's our friend you said it yourself and if you ever want to be more than friends you both need to talk. You can't expect a flower to bloom if you don't water it." Faida said honestly. "I just want today to be a positive day, please can we have that?" she asked her sister.

"I just don't want her getting hurt because she thinks she can go ahead and do everything. She's smart though I hope, so she should know her limits." Jesse said and smirked. "You didn't think I cared? I don't, but I don't want people getting hurt either. As long as she doesn't push herself too hard I'm okay with looking out for her but I can tell she wouldn't want me anywhere near her Lex. She would rather just be with the both of you which is why I probably won't be visiting much after today. I don't want to make things awkward okay? Maybe your friend there can come here instead of me, she'd probably enjoy that more. Anyway whatever, let's go enjoy dinner as much as we can. This is the last time the four of us will be together so let's make the best of it." Jesse said with a smile.

Radiance held her tongue as she closed her eyes. She wouldn't put up with constantly being told to stop it or having Fadia act like she was a guilty party to something that she wasn't. Radiance had done nothing wrong and wasn't trying to cause drama. A blind man could see that Jesse wasn't comfortable around her. She was thinking of others and there was nothing wrong with that. She had no intent of anything with Jesse she had learned the last time. Besides he made it obvious how he felt even now. There was no need to argue with stupid people because at this very moment her sister was stupid. Faida didn't seem to notice how awkward it was or the fact that Radiance was just trying to be polite. Apparently she felt Radiance was trying to start drama. Radiance open her eyes finally and put on a beautiful smile something she had learned to do over the years. She acted happy and would do so to avoid any fights. If that's what she had to do then so be it. Faida wasn't the same person any more and even she was a stranger. Her sister would have understood her years ago and that she didn't mean any harm in what she said. She really honestly was worried about Jesse and his feelings. It was a good and bad trait of hers. She always worried about others. She said nothing as she sat there it was better if she said nothing at this point. No one seemed to care what she said as long as she smiled and agreed with them. If she had to be a doll again then she would be to keep Faida happy.


Lex's smile faded as he heard the last part that Jesse said. Before Lex could stop himself he grabbed Jesse by his collar and swung open the front door yanking Jesse outside and up against the front wall. His eyes narrowed as he glared at Jesse his temper reaching the surface. " Look I have put up with a lot from you. I have put up with more than I would any other person on this earth because you are more of a brother to me than my own siblings. But your crap ends today. That women in there loves you and Radiance both as do I. I am not going to have her hurt because your being a child! You made your bed so lay in it Jess. Radiance is here to stay and you are going to have to be around her so get over it. Faida has never asked much from you nor I. All she wants is a few good evening here and there with us all smiling. IF Radiance can smile and nod so can you and I. So help me if I have to hand cuff you and drag you down here every time I will. You will never make Faida upset again. If you don't want to be around Radiance then you tell Faida that but you better keep your promises from now own to her. Faida has tried over the years to get you to spend time with us you want. You give us your lame excuses and I know their excuses and so Does Faida because when we call we are at your parents restaurant and your not there. I'm done with your excuses. If you can't be around Radiance fine but you tell Faida and if she ask you to do something you tell her straight up that your not going to. No more excuses. " Lex said as he suddenly turned hearing a strange voice behind him letting Jesse go.

" Is my little brother being unruly again?"James said as he casually strolled up the front lawn to the pink house. " Oh please don't stop on my account. I've wanted to punish him for years. However mother refused she seemed to think my idea of punishment was to harsh for the runt. " He said as he flashed his brother a devilish grin. " Huh so this is the slum you choose to wallow in I see. And you must be the famed law man I've heard so much about. The locals here praise you from the high heaves you know. It's rare to find a honest law man now days they are a dying breed." James said as he grinned cutting his sister eyes to Lex. He smiled happy to see that he was getting her their skin. " You know I couldn't help but get excited when our sister said your old flame was coming to town Jesse. Mother and Father where surprised to hear it as well and very upset that you would lie to them about your reason for wanting the night off. Don't worry they'll forgive you after meeting the young women. We've heard so much about her and she must be good to have you so worked up." He said as his grin widen. " Oh and I'm a invited guest. The sheriff asked me to come with him. "

James turned as he walked through the front door. " You really should learn to close doors around here. Your just asking for trouble if you don't." He said as he walked to where he saw a glimpse of rainbow colored hair he thought. His smile widen even more as his eyes fell on Radiance. He walked into the kitchen ignoring Faida as he stared at Radiance. He bowed before her and gently took her hand and kissed it as custom called for. "Ah so your the flame I see . You are far to good for my little brother. I'm sorry for any pain he has caused you. We blame mother for his outcome. She babied him far to much. You are stunning. I can see the appeal you have towards my little brother. Mother and Father will enjoy meeting you. You are as lovely as a rose. Shame my brother isn't man enough for such a lovely women as yourself. He really is a embarrassment. And to think he was going to try and hide your from us all. If you where mine I'd show you off. This wont do you are to lovely to be stuck here all the time. You know our family own a restaurant close by. Little Jesse helps out there a lot. I bet if we had you our customers would be highly impressed. Tell me do you enjoy tea and conversation? If so our family has special area's for our more exclusive customers. You might enjoy stopping by and having a chat with some of them. Besides our parents are dying to meet you. " James said obviously taken with her beauty.

Lex felt his anger grow even more as he looked at the man. But before he could say anything the man had already strolled into the house. " HEY!!!! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE YOU PRESTIGIOUS PRICK? " Lex yelled as he stomped after the man rather incensed by what the man had insinuated. Lex walked over to Faida as he looked ready to attack the man. His chest was puffed and his eyes narrowed. He didn't like this pompous man on bit. After seeing this prick Jesse was golden. He had forgotten his issues with Jesse as he stared at the pompous man. " HEY!!!!! WHAT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO BARGE IN!!!!! "

Radiance was surprised by all of this and not sure what to say or do. She blushed as the man kissed her hand and smiled softly then shifted her eyes as she felt confused seeing Lex. She frowned not sure what she should do. " Oh..I'm nothing important. There is no reason to make a fuss over me I assure you. My sister is twice as lovely. If you are looking for someone lovely it's her you wish to speak with. Besides she could charm more men with her smile than any women could with their words. I do enjoy tea and conversation. I had spent some time in Japan in the tea houses trying to learn. They have it down to a art form over there. I wish you wouldn't speak of Jesse that way. He is a lovely fellow and worth more than you'll know. I'm sorry to disappoint you but Jesse and I have no relation. I am nothing to him and I don't believe he would want me at his place of work. I am almost positive he wouldn't want me near his parents. At one point I was part of his past but it's a part he doesn't want to relive. It's not fair to him to have to be around some one he utterly despises. I have better things to do with my time than to be a pawn in some sick game your family wishes to play with him. I have enough respect for him to think of his feelings and from what I knew of Jesse his relationship with his family was strained. For you to be so bold as to come here uninvited speaks poorly on your character. If your intentions are noble then we could met some where that is not around Jesse. However if this is some sick game your playing I have you know I wont be part of it. I do not seek revenge on those who have hurt me. It will only lead to my rune. I ask that if you are wanting to know me that you do so on your own time and not with Jesse around. " She said in a very dignified manner. It was easy to see that in her traveling she had learned some refinement over the years. She looked like a noble lady sitting there almost regal like. It was easy to tell by her voice she was starting to lose control on her emotions. James was starting to make her upset. Even if Jesse hated her she still cared for him. She didn't want him tortured on her behalf or anyone's.

Jesse was surprised with the way Lex reacted and smirked. "Well well well, this is new." he said as he listened to what Lex had to say. "First of all, I am going to keep my promises to Faida, that's why I'm here. I don't want to ruin her day, I'm doing my best to stay calm and keep the mood a happy one okay? Second, I don't have to be around Radiance but I know I'll bump into her if I visit and that's okay. I guess you all don't deserve to be ignored just because of my uncertainty regarding Radiance." Jesse explained quietly. Lex made good points and Jesse was going to do his best to follow the rules laid out for him, Faida deserved to have happy moments with her friends like she used to.

Jesse looked up when he heard James speak. What was his older brother doing here? "Well mother obviously was right. Wanting to beat me into the ground isn't a good way to punish anyone. You think you can get away with anything just because you're the older one, thankfully I have our mother and our sister on my side." Jesse reminded with a grin. Being the youngest sibling had it's perks. So Sarah had spoken out about Radiance visiting? This is why he hated telling them anything. "Shut up James." Jesse muttered and glared at his older brother as he just walked right into the house.

Jesse quickly followed after him and pushed him away from Radiance, "Don't you DARE touch Radiant again!" he hissed. "Radiant is NOT yours! She's...well whatever but she is NOT going to meet our parents. I let her meet Sarahand I see that was a mistake because that girl can never keep her mouth shut. Just like all of you, I can never tell you guys anything because someone always has to talk and tell everyone else!" Jesse yelled. He was done being pushed around. Jesse listened to what Radiance was saying and nodded. She was right, his relationship with his family wasn't a good one and he didn't need his family flocking all over her like some prized object. She was a person with feelings that were being hurt right now because of his and his brother's stupid actions.

"She can come to the restaurant whenever she wants but I don't want any of you making her uncomfortable. If that's your plan then it's best she stays away. I don't need you or anyone else making her feel uncomfortable." Jesse said seriously. "Come on James, you need to leave." Jesse said calmly and grabbed James and pulled him out of the house then closed the door behind him. "Leave! I don't care who the hell invited you but I want you to leave now! You have no right coming in here and putting me down like you did! If you wanted to make me look bad you did it and I hope you're happy! Now leave before I punch you right in that stupid face of yours!" Jesse warned.

James was surprised with Jesse reaction. He slapped Jesse's hand away as he straighten out his clothes and closed his eyes crossing his arms over his chest. " Manners little runt or I'll teach you a think or two. It seems you finally acquired a back bone after all. Now calm down before we take this outside and I teach you some manners. I'd hate to embarrass you in front of such lovely company. However I'm here for business with that lovely rainbow rose over there. You see little Brother the Sheriff has been tasked with pleasing some investors. He needs our help to sway them to invest in the town. The Mayor himself has given this order. If we fail the town could go to rune. And the Sheriff would be in deep waters. Mother has no grounds in this and can't save you if you get in my and father's way. The Sheriff is the one who volunteered your lovely friend to help us. " Jame said as he open his eyes and smiled seeing the Sheriff beside him.

" That's right sorry I should have called and talked to you first. Jesse now you calm down we wont be long. I'm sorry for having to stop in and have to leave but the Mayor is really being a pain right now. As you know James and his father are more business focused and honestly as the mayor put it. They are the richest people here and have invested more here than most other citizens. It's why he called them in to take over the contracts for new shops and hotels to make our town more tourist friendly. It's not the job I wanted but even I can't argue with the Mayor when he wants something. " The man said as he sighed and smiled looking to Faida as he walked over and hugged her. He turned as he saw Radiance. He walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her hugging her to tight that she lifted out of her seat. The man sung her around like she was a small child and weighed nothing. He laughed and grinned as he finally sat her down.

" It's been to long. And now your home where you belong. I have both my little girls home. Since your back I thought we could do a little father daughter bonding time with James and Jesse's family. Since you don't have a job and don't really need to be moving around much. I thought it would be perfect for you to be our consultant. You have traveled over the world in the past few years. You know what these big business types are looking for and what things we should require from them. Besides I thought you and Faida would make great additions to the team. Faida has done some traveling and with both your ideas we could up date the town and think of good business to add. Now sadly I have to get going with Maters James here. I'll be back later to pick you up and take you home. Don't worry you want be alone James here has cleared his schedule and will be your escort. Sorry girls I have to get going. James lets go to the Mayor's house. " The man said as he left .

James smiled as he looking at Jesse. " I guess we're going to be seeing a lot of each other brother. Don't worry I'll spend plenty of time with her and make sure her every need is met. At lest one of us knows a keeper when we see one." He said low enough so only Jesse could hear. He then pushed past Jesse as he bowed to the others. " Until tomorrow my lady." He said as he rose and smiled at Radiance. He then turned and looked to Faida. " I look forward to working with you my beautiful Lady." He said then excused himself as he walked off and left with the Sheriff.


"Excuse me? Do I GET A SAY IN ANYTHING?" Radiance yelled out as she sighed and hung her head. They both where gone. " Great I'm four again. But I'm glad to see father hasn't lost any of his grip." She said as she started to laugh. She grinned as she shook her head. " I guess father will never change. He still sees us both as children. I wonder how long I'll be under house arrest. However with James around I'm thinking father's side is the safest place. He really is a piece of work. If he gets to annoying I saved some sleeping pills. I'm above putting the man to sleep. I learned other things in my travels if he gets to annoying. I have some nuts that will keep him occupied in the restroom for hours. " She said as she giggled. "I think I might have to bake him some cookies tonight with a special ingredient. "

Lex gritted his teeth as he glared at James. He didn't like that man on bit. " I say if you want to take him I'll help you hide the body." Lex said looking at Jesse. " There is always one bad egg in every family. You know compared to that loser we are all winners. I am fully against either of you being left alone with him. " He said as he looked to Radiance hearing what she said. " I'm not sure I want any cookies from you. You don't have to go if you don't want to. Besides you and Faida are a package deal. " He said as he looked to Faida. " Are you alright my Queen?"

"Manners?! You're one to talk about manners after what you just did, so stupid! I am not afraid of you James, if you want to beat me up go ahead and try but I am not going to let you push me around anymore! It's the reason I left the house to live on my own. If you think you can just show up and tell me what to do you're wrong James. You are not the boss of me, I live my own life the way I want it and I don't care if you don't like it." Jesse informed seriously. "Embarrass me? You already have James!" he hissed. Jesse listened to the sheriff and glared at James. "You stay away from Radiant okay?! I don't care if it's required for you to talk to her but you better keep your filthy hands off of her and off of Faida!" Jesse warned but his breaking point was what James said before he left. "Oh my god I hate him!" Jesse hissed and turned to look at the others. "I'm sorry about that. I..I didn't know that douche was going to be here." Jesse apologized and laughed when he heard what Lex said. "As much as I love that idea, I don't think upsetting my family would be a good idea right now, but thanks." he said softly.

Faida only sighed, "I'm going to go eat dinner." she whispered and smiled sadly when Jesse walked with her to the kitchen. "Hey, don't let my stupid brother ruin this for you Faida. The four of us are still together and we're going to enjoy this dinner you made us okay?" Jesse said making Faida chuckle. "There we go, much better. Lex wouldn't want you sad, and neither would I, Radiance or your father." Jesse pointed out and Faida knew he was right. There was no need to be so sad, it was still possible for this day to be not a total wreck.

Lex nodded as he looked to Faida and smiled." We all love you and how can we help with dinner?" Lex said to Faida as he looked around the kitchen. He looked over at Radiance as he saw she looked in deep thought. He could tell by the look on her face something wasn't siting well with her. " Hey what's wrong Radiance. You look like your thinking on something. Even I know letting a women think isn't always a good thing." He said trying to make her laugh and snap out of whatever she was thinking.

"Why does the town need money? Such business as the Mayor is wanting will only destroy the local land and push out most of the local business. Corporations have no place in a town like ours. It would be better to encourage local business rather than welcoming corporations with open arms. Our home is peaceful and beautiful. I like it the way it is. I don't like the idea of father being stuck in the middle of this. This seems shady. Why didn't dad just call. I have money set aside I've been saving for years now. Besides the ones for Fadia's wedding and for her dream pizza shop. Dad could have asked I'd have given him whatever I had. Maybe that's the problem he is a proud man after all. Maybe he felt like asking would make me or Faida see him less. " She said as she sat there thinking.

"James has never come here and none of Jesse's family until recently. It makes me wonder if there isn't something shady going on with that. I don't think Jesse's mother sister are involved but that James is to eager to have Faida and I sit with these clients of his. The town looks perfectly fine. If I had to guess there may be natural resources here that they are after. I need to get to the library and look at records. If I'm right we should be able to figure out what the Mayor and slim ball is really up to. I've met plenty of snakes in my life but that one takes the cake. Thank the lord you are nothing like that Jesse. I'm sorry that your brother barged in. But lets try and have a good evening." She said softly as she got up and walked over to Jesse.

Radiance gently placed her hand on his arm as she smiled up at him. " Hey thanks and I promise I have no intention of being in close quarts with him. Besides I was hoping maybe we could start up our Friday night dates of pizza and the drive inn movies. All of us use to love those. " She said as she smiled looking happy at the idea. She looked down to Jesse's arm as she spoke at a whisper. " I know you have a strained relationship with your family. But please don't let James get under your skin. Jesse you have always been perfect just the way you are. I don't want you hurt. Your one of the few people I never want to see in pain. I really don't trust James and I'm afraid he is itching for a fight with you for some reason. I know you could beat him in a fair fight. However I don't believe he has any intention of playing fair. And I couldn't bare to see you hurt. Your still my Jesse and that has never changed." She said softly as she leaned up and kissed his cheek softly. She held onto his arm a little tighter as she regained her balance from having leaned up and kissed his cheek. " Sorry." She said softly as she slowly made her way over to her seat and took a seat.

" Hey sis what's for dinner? " She said as she smiled warmly at Faida. " I know dad really wanted to help you with your restaurant. So I set up a fund the week after our vacation for you. Dad couldn't afford the dream wedding he felt you deserved so it's why I started working so much. It wasn't because I hated you . In fact I have them here for you. I had wanted to surprised you with them. " She said as she pulled out two white envelopes from her jacket pocket with Faida's name on them. " Here this is my welcome home present to you. I want you to not have to worry about money anymore. I can't give you memories back or the time I was away. But maybe this will help to make your future brighter. " She said hoping that Faida would like the gifts.

"Well I think we should all enjoy some dinner. I am sure we are all rather hungry and perhaps even tired." Faida started and began to serve the dinner to everyone. She had made spaghetti and meatballs with marinara sauce. "I apologize, ever since Italy I have really loved pasta." she said and smiled apologetically. Hearing Radiance mention a wedding, Faida looked to her sister with a confused look on her face. "A wedding? N-no one ever talked about a wedding sister. I...I never heard about it anyway." she answered honestly and looked over at Lex confused then looked down at the envelopes and smiled. "Thank-you sister, I appreciate it." Faida said and hugged her sister gently before sitting at the table and looking at the envelopes. "Lex would you mind getting the drinks please?" she asked him. She had been working on dinner all day that she had forgotten to focus on the drinks.

Jesse listened to Radiance and shrugged, "I don't know what the heck that prick wants. I don't like it though, and I hope my other older brother Jonas is staying out of this. Thankfully I have the girls on my side. My mother and my sister Sarah aren't the kind of people that would be interested in this. Which reminds me, I should go visit little Ellie soon. She's ten years old, time flies." Jesse said mostly to himself. He was surprised when Radiance got up and walked over to where he stood. "I want to have a good evening, or at least what's left of it." Jesse answered quietly. What the heck was his brother really after? There was no way James was going to tell anyone the truth but this whole thing just didn't make sense to him. Someone wasn't saying everything that there was to the story.

Jesse looked down at her hand on his arm and felt the blush creep up on his cheeks. Even after ten years she still had this effect on him. "Well good, because I don't want you getting near that jerk. He's up to no good, I can tell." he started and blinked. "Movies and pizza?" he repeated and smiled. "Yes, we all used to love that. I'd be more than happy to start up that habit again. I'm sure we can all agree that it would be a lot of fun." Jesse agreed and listened to her soft whispers. He could tell she was still worried about him and it made him feel horrible. After all he had done to her she still cared about him. He really was such a fool for hurting her all those times. Sure it was years ago but still. "If he wants a fight I'll give him one.." Jesse whispered and frowned. "Your Jesse..?" he repeated and smiled warmly but he blushed again when he felt her kiss his cheek. Jeez, now he was confused but he'd talk to her and try to clear all this mess up. They wouldn't be able to move forward if they didn't talk.

Pulling out his cellphone, he turned it on and called his mom, putting it on speaker. "Hello?" his mother said into the phone. "Mother hi, umm I just called because James threatened to hurt me. I wasn't even doing anything. I told him to leave because he barged into my friend's house and he was starting to make a huge scene and make them all uncomfortable." he said with a smirk on his face as he sat down beside Radiance. "He did?! I talk to that boy when he come home. I make sure he know his place!" his mother assured. "Thanks mom, love you lots." Jesse said with a grin. "Mommy loves Baby Jesse lots too. Now go and eat food, and no more rebelling." she said with a laugh. "I promise no more of that. Bye." Jesse said before hanging up and laughing. "I guess I should show you guys the rebelling she was talking about." he said.

Lex mouth fell open as he heard Radiance tell Faida about the wedding fund. He felt suddenly nervous as he cut his eyes to her. " We talked about giving those to her after dinner. Fine I guess the secret is out." He said as he sighed and turned walking into the other room and coming back with everyone's drink. He refilled them and walked outside. He came back with a large white bag. He gently moved Faida's plate of food back and pulled out a large white box he open it and let her read what was one the pizza shaped in a heart. While she did that he got down on one knee and pulled out a white ring box. The pizza read, " My Queen would you do me the honor of marring me and making me your King."A beautiful rose ring sat in the middle of the white ring box. It had been painstakingly chosen by Lex and Radiance together. Lex felt nervous as he waited. It was the longest silence he had ever heard. He was ready to die right there the anticipation was enough to kill him. He had wanted to ask Faida for years now but it never felt right. However Radiance had blew him out in the e-mails she sent and text when she was able to during her recovery. He prayed that Faida liked the ring and didn't think his proposal was to cheesy and unworthy of her. He wasn't going to let some prick rune his night or Radiance mix up with giving Faida her presents.

Radiance smiled as she heard Jess's phone call. She looked at him wondering what he could have done to make his mother say such a thing. " Show us?" She repeated back now intrigued wondering what he had done. Her attention turned to Lex as she heard him. "Oh....sorry. " She barely got to whisper before Lex vanished and then returned with a white bag. She reached for Jesse's hand and held them squeezing them slightly from excitement. She picked up Jesse's phone quickly with one hand and snapped a picture of Lex on one knee and the pizza with Faida's surprised face. She beamed with happiness as she put Jesse's phone down and squeezed his hands once again lightly out of excitement. "Awe...Kia it so cute!!!! " She said obviously caught up in the moment not realizing she was acting like she always had with him before he had said he was done.

Faida was still confused as to what was going on and watched Lex worriedly. Had she done something to upset him? She was going to ask what this secret was but decided not to and looked at her drink, happy that they could start dinner. However, it seemed today was full of surprises. Faida looked at the pizza and smiled, it seemed Lex had made her a pizza at one point while she wasn't around and it smelled delicious. It took her a while to realize what it said and she blushed bright red when she read it for the third time. "Ohh...!" she gasped and turned to look at Lex and was surprised to see the ring he was holding out to her. "Y-you want to marry me?" she asked in a soft whisper and tried not to cry but was failing miserably. Faida was so happy right now, she felt light headed from all of this but she was happy. "Yes, of course I will Marry you!" she answered happily.

Jesse nodded, "I'll show you later." he replied and looked over at Faida and at Lex. He was also curious to figure out what this secret was that they talked about. What he saw really surprised him though and made him smile, Lex had always loved Fiada it was about time they made it official. Jesse blinked and looked down at his hand which was being held now by Radiance, making him smile warmly at her. At least she was happy. He looked at the photo she took and chuckled, "Yeah, it really is Radiant.." he said quietly and looked at the photo, making sure he saved it.

Radiance smiled as she looked to Jesse. " Ok then." She said as she smiled looking back to Faida and Lex. She smiled happy to see how happy the two where together. She had forgotten everything for that moment in time as she sat there beside Jesse. She hadn't realized that during this confession of love she had laced her own fingers in Jesse's. She smiled as Lex jumped up and kissed Faida. He looked like the happiest man in the world. " Awe they are so cute. I guess we can expect to be busy with wedding plans now. I bet Nancy would love to help out. " She said as she turned and looked at Jesse. " Speaking of witch I miss her pancakes. Maybe that's where I'll get lunch from. Back where it all started for all of us. We should do the reception there." She said joking but thought it would be really cute. After all that's where the all first met.

Lex smiled holding Faida close. He quickly slid the ring on her finger as he twirled her around the kitchen. " Do you like the ring? I couldn't deiced witch one you would like. But after waiting for so long I thought you needed the best I could find. We can always get you another if you don't like this one. Sorry I'm not good with Jewelry. " He said meaning it as he looked at Faida. " I told you before I wanted you to be Mrs.Lex. But thank the lord you look much better than I do. I'd feel bad if you looked like me. You look far better." He said as he kissed her cheek lovingly. " Radiance and I have been working together. How do you think I got her to come home? " He said in a playing manner. " Faida I love you." He whispered to her and then kissed her softly.
