Gemini raised an eyebrow. "I don't recall you setting a specific price range. I'm the one making the cake, I can charge whatever I want for it. But I suppose if you actually want me to raise the price, I can make it so that you can't afford the rest of the wedding." She said, crossing her arms.

Lori stomped on the brakes suddenly and in the middle of the street. "But that's..." she started to cry. "Oh no." Selina grimaced. "It's alright honey she's just a big meanie." she patted Lori's shoulder. ""Now please drive before we get in an accident." Lori pulled the car over and sat there crying "I don't feel like dress shopping anymore." she sobbed causing both Pam and Selina to glare at Gemini.

Gemini sighed. It had just been a joke- usually Lori would have hit her for it. What was wrong? "Lori, honey I'm sorry. I was just kidding. What if I charge a normal amount, and I'll buy you ice cream to apologize?" Offering ice cream was usually the ticket to a happy Lori. If that didn't work, she would know something was wrong.

"OK!" Lori smiled threw her tears. "The day is better already." She headed to the dress store looking fully happy with the thought of ice cream. "Let's do this!" She sprung out and raced inside both Pam and Selina following her laughing.

Gemini gave an internal sigh of relief. Lori was fine. Her reaction could probably be chalked up to pre-wedding jitters. She hopped out of the car with the others and followed them inside, excited again to help pick a beautiful dress.

Gemini walked around Lori in a circle, taking in all aspects of the dress. "I agree, it's perfect for you." She said, nodding. "Just wait until Bruce gets a look at you. He's going to be drooling throughout the whole wedding!" She giggled.

Lori laughed as well blushing bright. "I can only imagine.'' she bought the dress having them hold it so it could be fitted to her. "OK dresses for my bridesmaid's and for mom!" she pulled them away grinning then spent the next hour being picky finally settling on a light blue color. "It's perfect." she sighed happily. "I'm exhausted know." she chuckled. "I can drive." Selina offered helping her to the car.

Gemini went ahead and opened the car door for Lori. "Now that the dresses are picked, shall we go for ice cream? I'm buying." She said.

"Ice cream sounds good." Lori smiled and got in. The others got in as well and Selina drove to the ice cream parlor. "Here we go." Lori raced inside and bought the most ice cream she could. "She's something else." Selina laughed.

Gemini chuckled. "Yeah, but she's our something else." She said, ordering a single scoop cone for herself. "Last call if you two want anything."

"Oh sure." Selina got something as Pamela scowled at a dying plant in the corner. "Oh please don't Red." Selina got her ice cream then pulled her to a booth "at least let us eat." "Fine but they will pay for this." Pam growled softy.

Gemini rolled her eyes and paid before going to sit with the others. "Not everyone is an expert with plants, but that's pathetic." She commented about the plant.

Pamela looked happy once he had said that. "I'm so glad you three understand me." Pamela smiled. "hey...would you three mind not causing trouble the week of my wedding so I can have Bruce around." Lori asked suddenly emerging from her ice cream. "Of course I'll stay out of trouble." Selina readily agreed.'' "I promise as well." Pamela smiled at Lori.

Gemini placed a hand over her heart. "You know I won't do anything. Rosemary keeps me too busy to do much more than waitressing, anyway." She said, smiling.

''Good." Lori smiled then went back to her ice cream pleased they had all agreed. 'There is something else I need from you three.' "Name it." Selina nodded. 'We need to deal with Taliah and Joker." Lori sighed as Pam flinched at jokers name. "that's going to be a hard." Pam sighed.

Gemini went pale and looked up at Lori. She did know what she was asking, right? "I'll do whatever you want about Talia, but you know I won't go near Joker. I'm sorry, but you know I can't." She didn't say more, because the other two didn't know why she felt this way, and she wasn't about to tell them.

"Yeah I know...my wedding is being ruined by one of them I know it." Lori groaned a little.

It was the day of the wedding and both Pamela and Selina where keeping a lookout for Talia or Joker leaving Gemini to calm Lori down. Lori was pacing all dressed and pretty her mind racing with what if and her butterflies making her feel like she was going to throw up.

Gemini was doing her best to calm Lori. "It's alright, Lori. You'll be fine. As soon as you see Bruce up there, everything will fall into place." She said the last wistfully, knowing that she would never have this experience for herself.

Rosemary came up and tugged lightly on Lori's sleeve. "Auntie? Can you tell me what I'm supposed to do again?" She asked. Rosemary was the flower girl, and she was nervous about getting her part right.

"Just throw the pettles and you'll do fine." Lori smiled then swallowed when Pam and Selina came to get them. "It's time." Selina smiled and lead the way smiling encouraging before she walked up the aisle. All to soon Lori was next with a deep breath she walked in eyes sweeping the crowd first before her gaze fell on Bruce. She blushed and smiled giggling at the look on Jason's face though Alfred looked happy enough for the both of them. When she was handed over to Bruce she grinned and had to resist the urge to kiss him. As the priest asked if anyone had any objects the doors opened and with out even turning she knew who it was. Damien had half risen from his seat staring at his mother in surprise he looked to them clearly unsure how his mother was there. Then Talia walked forward saying the words that had hunted Lori's nightmares all week. "I object." Talia scowled not bothering to wait for her father who ghosted in behind her.

Gemini stood, furious. "Objections from uninvited wedding crashers are not recognized. You would do well to leave." She said.

Bruce scowled. "I don't know what you're doing here, or how you got here, and I don't particularly care. Talia, I am marrying Lori, no matter what you say. If you try to interfere, you will regret it."

Rosemary's jaw dropped. "Damian...your mom is kinda scary." She whispered to him.

"You can't marry her when in my culture your married to me." Talia smirked at both Bruce and Gemini.

"Yeah she is." Damien bite his lip then blinked when his mother patted his head. "We even have a child together." Talia smiled at Damien making him wish he could vanish.

"We have been through this before. I am not part of your culture, and a forced marriage doesn't count. As far as I, and the rest of the world, are concerned, you and I are nothing more than acquaintances who had a one-night stand." Bruce said, trying hard not to get angry. He was not going to let this insane woman ruin what should be the happiest day of his life.

"What you think doesn't matter, Talia. Your so-called union was illegal, and therefore is not recognized. Bruce can marry whomever he wants, and I think he's made it pretty obvious that he wants Lori." Gemini was ready to start a full on fight if she had to.

"I don't think this is a good time to talk about this..." Rosemary said, clearly afraid of a fight breaking out.
