"I'm still trying to figure out what a cookie is." Damien sighed.

((Maybe the kids have a break and when the Joker cause's trouble Bruce takes Jason leaving Damien to man the ship.))

((Okay, that works.))

Rosemary blinked several times. "You've never had a cookie?" She asked in disbelief. "No wonder you're always so grumpy! I'll give you one of my cookies for snack, and you'll see why we talk about them so much." She said.

((To the magic skip machine away.))
Lori fiddled with her hair bored it had been a month since there marriage and she was excited to tell Bruce the news that they where going to have a baby. She glanced at Jason and Damien who were playing a video game.

Rosemary came running in the door right then, a big smile on her face. "Hi auntie Lori! Mommy said I could come show you, look! I made cookies all by myself!" She said happily, breathless from running. She held up a basket of warm chocolate chip cookies. They were misshapen and slightly burnt, but pretty good for a child her age. "I wanna have you and uncle Bruce and Damian and Jason try them!"

Bruce, who had been at work, walked in just as Rosemary was talking. "Try what?" He asked, putting his briefcase down and walking farther into the room.

Jason and Damien fell onto the cookie's like hungry wolves. "It's good!" Jason exclaimed while Damien nodded mouth to full to say anything. Lori laughed and took one sighing happily "There as good as our mothers." she smiled at the girl. "Actually since your I have something to tell you all." she took Bruce's hand in her's. "I have good news. Bruce your going to be a dad." she smiled.

Bruce's jaw dropped. Eyes wide, he knelt down. "You're...pregnant? Right now?" He asked, placing a hand gently on her belly.

Rosemary looked incredibly pleased that everyone liked her cookies. She smiled and took one herself, happy that Lori had said they were as good as her mother's. She nearly dropped her basket when she heard the news. "Oh my goodness! Auntie's gonna have a baby! I gotta tell mommy later!"

"yes right know." Lori chuckled spreading her fingers threw his hair. "What do you think Bruce? A little version of us running around." she chuckled. "We'll be outnumbered."

Jason grinned. "This is great where going to brother's." he looked to Damien who shrugged looking a little jealous.

Bruce smiled, looking like a kid on Christmas who had just won the lottery and bought a pony. "Happy? Of course I'm happy! Lori, this is wonderful!" He picked her up and spun her around once, kissing her.

Rosemary giggled. "You guys are so lucky! I'd love to have a little sister or brother! You'll get to teach them and play with them and sometimes boss them around..." She was partially trying to cheer Damian up.

Lori laughed and kissed him back. "I'm glad your happy." She smiled blinking as Damien walked off. "Uh oh." She sighed. "I think someone might be jealous."

Bruce sighed. "He'll come around, just like Jason did when Rosemary was born." He said hopefully.

Rosemary pouted. "I just know Damian's going to be a great big brother." She said. "Can I run home and tell mommy, or do you want to tell her?" She asked.

"You can tell her if you want." Lori smiled at Rose hoping they where right she would hate to have Damien be upset for the rest of his life. Jason smiled knowing they where right he had been jealous of Rose at first but know he loved her with all his heart he blinked as the emergency phone rang and went to get it.

Rosemary jumped up and down in excitement. "Yay! I'm gonna go call her! Cuz I can't run all the way back yet." She said, racing for the regular phone.

Lori chuckled at her then blinked at Jason who pulled Bruce away listening as he explained that the Joker was going over sea's for a heist and was likely to bring the drugs back to the states.

Bruce looked grim. "We have no choice, then. We'll have to follow and stop him." He said, sounding very upset.

"It's alright love go save the world. I'll keep Damien with me so you can take Jason. Just make it fast." Lori slid her hand up to his cheek. "I don't think Damien could handle me with hormones." She grinned.

Bruce chuckled. "We'll be back before you know it. And I'm sure, once Gemini hears about this, she'll be over here to help in an instant." He said.

Right on cue, a high-pitched squealing sound was heard from over the phone. Next thing they knew, Gemini was standing in front of Lori. "Permission to hug?"

Rosemary looked from the phone to her mother, wondering who gave Gemini super speed.

"Permission granted." Lori laughed hugging her friend as Jason hurried to go pack and get everything they needed to go across the ocean as both themselves as well as everything Robin and Batman would need. "They need to go stop Joker. Stay with me till they come back?" Lori pouted at her.

Squealing, Gemini hugged her friend gently. "They're leaving? Then of course I'll stay with you! There's no way your getting rid of me." She said. "This is my chance to help you like you helped me with Rose."

"Can I stay here, too?" Rosemary asked. She couldn't imagine that her mother would leave her at home alone, but she wanted to make sure she was welcome.

"Of course you can. Would you mind going to tell Damien he's dad is leaving." Lori had just finished talking when Damien come down wished his father luck glared at Jason then went back upstairs. "Alright then...never mind."

Magic time warp.
Jason was excited to be in a new place though he had to admit it was freezing in Russia. He was also super glad he wasn't stuck as Robin for the whole time they where there he wanted to go sight seeing after they took Joker down.

Lori was waiting for Bruce to come back hoping that at any second he would walk threw the door with Jason at his side the boy looking pleased with himself.

Gemini waited with her. A day before, Rosemary had suddenly started crying, but didn't seem to know why. The girl was doing homework now, but Gemini was worried.

The door opened, and Bruce walked in...alone. He looked like a tortured prisoner, eyes ringed with shadows as if he hadn't slept in months.

Damien was with Rose then blinked at his father when he walked in eyes widening when he didn't see Jason.

"Bruce." Lori hugged him tightly then frowned. "Where's Jason?" She looked behind him expecting the boy to jump out and scare her. She blinked when she didn't see him swallowing "Bruce what happened? Why isn't Jason with you?""

Upon seeing Bruce, Rosemary started crying again. She reached over and grabbed Damian's hand, looking for comfort.

At first, it seemed like Bruce didn't even see Lori. Then, slowly, his eyes focused on her...and he collapsed in tears.

Gemini ran over, tissues somehow miraculously already in hand. "Bruce? What happened?"

"Bruce talk to me. Your scaring me." Lori pulled him to her starting to dread the answer he would give. "He's not...dead is he?" she swallowed hard.

Damien pulled Rose into a tight hug already knowing.
