((A couple months later.))
Lori was wondering around the house her stomach know large enough to notice. "I'm so fat." She pouted thinking of what Jason would have said and smiled sadly. It had been nearly eight months since the funeral and while Damien had really made a turn around clearly trying to be the best he could for his father she couldn't help but feel that none of them would be the same again.

As Gemini had hoped, Bruce started to come out of his depression when he realized that his wife and unborn child still needed him. He devoted all of his attention to Lori, trying to make her comfortable. "You're not fat. You're beautiful." He said, coming up to hug her from behind.

Lori froze for a second and leaned against him. "How are you feeling?" She smiled up at him squeezing his arm happy to see him.

Bruce paused a moment. "I'll be okay, as long as you are." He said. Though he still felt guilty, he was starting to move on.

Just then, Rosemary ran in the door. "Hi auntie Lori, hi uncle Bruce! I'm going to train with Damian!" Rosemary had taken Jason's death hard. She had coped by deciding that she wanted to fight crime, too, so she had started training hard. Her ultimate goal was to get strong enough to beat up Joker, but she didn't tell anyone that.

"He's in the study!" Lori called after the girl. "I'm surprised you aren't nagging that I should be in bed...Gemini generally nags if she see's me walking around this close to the..." Lori broke off and gripped her arm. "My water just broke." She swallowed and looked at him. "It's time."

Bruce wasted no time with words. He scooped Lori up and headed for the car. "Kids, I'm taking Lori to the hospital! Call Gemini to let her know, and tell Alfred. Stay here until I call!" He yelled.

Rosemary walked into the study, but didn't get to say anything before she heard Bruce yelling. "Auntie Lori's having the baby! I'll go call my mom and you tell Alfred, okay?" She said to Damian.

"OK." Damien easily found Alfred and then waited with Rose. "I wonder if it will be a boy or a girl."

Hours later Lori gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. "She's so cute." she grinned at the baby who started at them with big blue eyes.

Gemini arrived at the hospital shortly, after informing her boss that she had to leave early to help her friend in labor. She brought flowers, and a tray of baby-themed cookies from everyone at the restaurant. Now, she just waited patiently to see her niece or nephew.

Bruce smiled gently. "She's beautiful. Just like her mother." He said, giving Lori a kiss on the cheek. "You did amazing. What should we name her?" He asked.

"Martha. Martha Rose Wayne." Lori smiled at there daughter who cooed and nestles against her. "Do you want to hold her Bruce?"

Bruce had to look away for a moment to compose himself, or he would have started crying. When he turned back, he nodded and gently took his daughter. "Martha. It's perfect...she's perfect."

Baby Martha stared at her father then smiled grabbing hold of his finger. "Not even an hour old and she's already a daddy's girl." Lori grinned then looked over as the nurses let Gemini in.

Gemini came in holding the flowers and cookies, and smiled. "Hello. Oh, look...so cute! So it's a girl, huh? And a daddy's girl at that!" She came over to look more closely. "Congratulations, both of you. I've brought flowers, and everyone at work pitched in to make cookies. What's her name?" She asked.

Bruce smiled. "Martha. Lori came up with the idea. I'm going to call Alfred and let him know the good news. Lori, do you think you can handle seeing the kids for a little while?"

"I guess though I may just fall asleep." Lori yawned a little. "But Damien should get to see his sister." She smiled and took Martha back turning to the nurse who helped her feed the baby. "Thanks for the cookies Gem but I'm to exhausted to eat."

Gemini smiled. "That's alright, I didn't expect you to eat them right away. I know after I had Rosemary I could barely keep myself awake. I'll leave them here on the table for whenever you want them." She said.

Bruce stepped out of the room and took out his cell phone to make the call. He could hear Rosemary's excited chatter in the background.

Damien helped Alfred get the baby carrier into his car smiling at the idea of having a sister. "Come on Rose." he settled into the car excited to get the hospital.

Lori was alright asleep Martha tucked against her chest.

Gemini, who had been quietly talking to Bruce, looked up when Alfred and the kids came in. She smiled.

Bruce looked up and smiled, as well. He put one finger to his lips to indicate that they should be quiet. "Come on in. Damian, meet your baby sister, Martha." He said quietly.

Rosemary, who walked in right behind Damian, had to use every ounce of willpower she had not to squee and run to see the baby.

Martha stared at them from her mother's arms then cooed at Damien. "Can...can I hold her?" Damien asked looking more nervous then anyone had seen him. Lori grumbled in her sleep but didn't wake.

Bruce smiled. "Of course. Here, sit down." He said, handing Martha to Damian. "Hold her like this, and make sure to support her head." He instructed.

Rosemary watched, smiling. Damian looked cute holding his sister. Secretly, she took a small disposable camera she kept with her and snapped a picture, then put the camera back before anyone noticed. "Can I hold her next?" She asked.

"That can probably be arranged. But only if Bruce says it's okay." Gemini said.

Damien and Martha stared at each other for a while then Martha grabbed his finger babbling softly. He smiled at her "Hi Martha I'm Damien your big brother. I'm going to protect you from know on." Martha cooed and started to fall asleep.

Bruce couldn't have possibly looked happier. "I think she's going to have quite a brother complex." He said.

Gemini nodded. "Absolutely, she's going to be super attached to Damian."

"That's so sweet!" Rosemary said, smiling. "Damian, you're gonna be a great big brother. I can already tell." Her thoughts turned to the boy who had been like a big brother to her, and she frowned, but shook it off. This was a happy occasion, not time to be thinking about the dead.

Damien blushed and gentle handed Martha to Rose. "It's not that big of a deal." He muttered blinking as Martha fussed staring at Rose.

Rosemary took the baby gently, holding her the way she was taught. "I think it's a big deal. Having a good big brother is the best thing in the world." She said. "Hi, Martha. I'm Rose, and I'm gonna be the best cousin ever."

Martha pouted up at her then went back to sleep cooing softly.

Rosemary smiled. "She doesn't like me as much as Damian. But I'll be good to her." She said.

Gemini smiled proudly. "Good girl, Rose." She said.

Bruce took Martha and put her in the crib next to Lori's bed. "I think visiting time is over for now."

"Come on Rose we can eat your mom's cookies then train a little." Damien lead the way to Alfred's car. The man chuckled then smiled at Bruce "congratulations again sir" he followed Damien amused by how much the boy was like his father.
