Martha pointed to a spoon which was sparkling.

Gemini went to pick up the spoon. Checking that it was clean, she then handed it to Martha. "There you go." She said.

Martha began to gum the spoon crinkling her nose at the taste.

Gemini laughed. "It's not food, but you can chew on it if you want." She said.

Rosemary came over. "That's called a spoon, Martha. We use it to eat food." She explained.

Martha threw the spoon and began to fuss clearly unhappy that the spoon didn't taste good.

Rosemary went to pick the spoon up and put it in the sink. Then she got one of Martha's toys from her bag and handed it to her. "I bet this will taste better. You're supposed to chew on it."

Martha took it studied it for a moment before she began to gum it happy with the change. She was a handful at only a few months old.

Gemini chuckled softly. "She reminds me of Lori when we were young." She said.

"Oh yeah, you were friends with Auntie Lori and Uncle Bruce when you were kids, right? Was Auntie Lori really like that?" Rosemary asked. She loved hearing stories of her mother and aunt and uncle as children.

"Oh, Lori was much worse. But that's part of what made her so fun to be around. There was never a dull moment around her." Gemini said. "I remember when she first discovered Disney movies. I don't think any of us slept for three days straight..."

Rosemary sat down to listen to her mother's story.

Lori shifted against something groaning softly. She turned her head to look at what it was smiling when she saw Bruce squeezed against the couch beside her.

Bruce opened his eyes slowly, smiling as the first thing he saw was Lori's face. "Hey..." He said, stretching. "How are you feeling?"

"Much better." Lori smiled at him giving him a slow kiss then looked at the darkness outside. "We may be in here for a while." she ran a hand over his face smirking more.

"If we wanted to." Bruce said. "I don't think the kids know about the secret door in that bookcase that leads to the kitchen. We could use it, or we could just stay here."

"If we vanish Damien will be annoyed though the bed is a better place for somethings." Lori slid on top of him mouth grazing against his. "It's all up to you love."

"Hmm..." Bruce thought for a moment. "I suppose we should stay here, just to make the kids happy." He said, leaning in to kiss her again.

Lori smirked into the kiss. "You may regret not going to bed." With that she attacked.

Damien woke to the light. "WE FORGOT ABOUT DAD AND LORI!" he hurried to get out of the bed and raced to wake Gemini and Rose. He slammed his fist on Gemini's door worried that they needed help.

Gemini woke abruptly and ran to her door. "What? Damian? What's wrong?" She asked, frightened.

Rosemary rushed out as fast as she could, carrying Martha. "We should go let them out."

"Let who out? Wait a minute...you two...no, never mind, I don't want to know what you did. Come on, I'll bring you all over."

Damien hurried into the manor when they got there then raced up the stairs to the library closed his eyes and opened the door. "I'm so sorry!"

Lori blinked at the sound of a voice. "Oh hi Damien." she smiled at him. "We're decent." she chuckled sitting up. Damien opened his eyes looking ashamed of himself.

Bruce sat up, chuckling slightly. "It's alright, Damian. We're fine." He said. "Actually, we're rather thankful. What you two did was dishonest, but...you did it for the right reasons. And God knows we never would have taken a break if you hadn't forced us." He smirked. "Besides, we could have left any time we wanted."

Rosemary came up right behind Damian. She stared at the floor, ashamed as Bruce spoke. "So...we're not in trouble?" She asked.

"You locked them in the library?" Gemini asked. She stood, holding Martha, at the door. "What are we going to do with you two?"

Damien shrugged. "not teach us to be sneaky?" he offered his a cheeky grin.

Lori laughed and took Martha from Gemini. "Thank you for watching Martha for us."

Gemini smiled. "No problem, she was an absolute angel. Any time you need a babysitter, just give me a shout." She said.

"Damian, they can't not teach us to be sneaky, especially you, cuz it's your job to be sneaky." Rosemary said with a giggle.

"Speaking of which, Rosemary, you've been learning quite a bit of that yourself, haven't you?" Bruce asked, making the young girl look away.

"Not really...I'm just learning to defend myself."

Damisn left her in the hot seat and went to help Lori entertain Martha.

Rosemary glared at Damian for a second before turning back to Bruce- only to find her mother watching her expectantly as well. "I...um..."

"Why don't you start with the beginning?" Bruce suggested.

"Rose, you know if there's anything you want to tell or ask us, you always can." Gemini said.

"Okay...but I'm afraid you'll get mad." Rosemary looked up and met reassuring looks from both adults. "I'm learning cuz...I want to help, like Damian does. I could be a good sidekick! I listen and do what I'm told, and I'm getting really good at fighting! I want to make sure there's no more people getting hurt like Jacey."

Bruce glanced at Gemini. He was speechless, and it looked like she was, too.

Lori been passing by to get Martha her blocks paused. "I don't think it's a bad idea." She smiled at Rose. "The first girl Robin or whatever name you want." She felt a little jealous that she didn't have that kind of passion she always felt weak and helpless not to mention that she was a burden on Bruce because she couldn't right.
