Rosemary blinked, a little confused by this reaction. Still, she was tired, so instead of worrying about it she leaned back and went to sleep.

Gemini, who had elected to stay with her daughter overnight, looked curiously at Damian as he left. "I wonder what happened with those two."

"Who knows?" Lori sighed. "He's as stubborn as his father." she smirked at Bruce. "Maybe more so."

Bruce pouted a little, though he couldn't really argue. "Whatever it is, I'm sure they'll work it out." He said.

Gemini shrugged. "Of course they will." She sighed. "Visiting hours are almost over. I'm going to go sit with Rose. Goodnight you two. And Bruce...thank you. Make sure to thank Jason and Damian, too. I really owe you for saving my baby."

"your welcome Gemini. You know I would do anything for Rosey." Lori smiled a little. "Let's go home Bruce you must be tired." she took his hand while Jason followed along.

Bruce nodded. "Not a problem at all. We're all like family, you know?" He said. He waved to Gemini as they left, then turned to focus on getting everyone home.

Gemini waited to see everyone off, then went into Rosemary's room. Seeing her daughter already asleep, she pulled out the cot the nurses had given her and set it up at the end of the bed where she could be up in an instant if Rose needed her. Once it was set up, she laid down for the night- though she probably wouldn't sleep.

In Arkham the boy who had taken Rose sat in an examining room alone. Suddenly the door opened framing a tall woman with brown hair and green eyes a smirk on her mouth. As she stepped into the room a man appeared behind her a little taller then her with greying brown hair, a mustache goatee and green eyes like the woman's. "Do you receive any information from the girl?" The woman asked circling him.

Meanwhile Lori was changing Martha into her pj's. "Think talking to him would do any good?" She asked Bruce glancing towards Damien's room where the boy had hidden when they got home.

The boy looked scared. He didn't know these people, but they seemed to know him. "Who are you? What is it you want?" He asked, trying to sound brave. How did they know about Rosemary? He started to wonder about the guy who had dropped a hint to him. Had he been set up?

Bruce sighed. "I don't know. Part of me thinks so, but another part feels like this is something he and Rose should figure out on their own. I'm not even sure what I'd say."

"You think someone would just know who the people behind the masks are?" The woman smirked a little and then pulled her sword free. "Know what did you learn?" she purred while the man just watched.

"Your right of course." Lori sighed a little and pulled Martha in for a hug. "never get like that." she begged the girl.

"I don't understand what you're asking." The boy said stubbornly. It was mostly true. "I wasn't gathering information for anyone. I just wanted Rosemary."

Bruce smiled a little. "We should get to bed." He said.

"Oh is that all." The woman forcible removed him from his chair and slammed him on to the floor. "Well now things are different. Now you tell us if she told you anything about the others and you tell us if you heard Robin."

Lori nodded and tucked Martha into her bed. "I'm not really tired can we do something to tire me out?"

The kid gasped, knocked breathless by the sudden rough treatment. "Sh-she didn't..." He coughed, trying to get his breath back. "She wouldn't tell me anything. B-but I heard him. Robin. I talked to him." He decided to cooperate, hoping that would save him.

Bruce smiled. "I think I could come up with something." He said, pulling her off to their room.

"What do he say?" The woman dug her heel into the boys back. "Did you harm him?" "Talia." The man finally spoke and the woman Talia removed her foot from the boys back. "You must forgive my daughter." He helped the boy back into his chair. "Just tell us what happened and you can go."

A strangled sound came from the boy, and it took him a moment even after he was back in the chair to stop coughing. "I d-didn't hurt him. I couldn't have, he was too quick." He said, eyes watering from pain. "He came to get her, like she said he would." He started, and told them everything that had happened.

"Good boy." The man smiled. "Now would you like to be free of this place?" He asked making Talia scowl at him. "But father." She started only to fall silent under his gaze.

The kid looked up, startled but hopeful. "Of course! I-I mean, yes sir." He corrected himself quickly, just in case any rudeness would be punished painfully.

The man smirked at then stood "Good." he headed for the door. "You will begin your training at once." he nodded to a ninja who took the boy away. "She didn't give us information." Talia scowled. "no but she is strong. You picked the wrong one my daughter. You should have taken Lori but there is still time for that. Tomorrow I will distract the detective for you." the man walked away.

The next morning Jason and Damien went to check on Rose while they where gone Bruce got a notice that the league of shadows was in town.

After receiving the notice, Bruce started to wonder about a few things. He went to Lori immediately to tell her. "You have to be careful. I think they might be behind what happened to Rosemary. If they're looking for information, they'll go after you or Gemini next, and you're the most likely choice."

Rosemary woke the next morning to see her mother sitting up on a cot at the end of her bed. After a brief conversation, Gemini went to get her daughter some breakfast, and Rosemary was left alone to think for a while.

"Good morning Briar Rose." Jason greeted with a grin. "You've been watching Lori's Disney movies haven't you." Damien appeared behind him rolling his eyes a little.

"I'll be careful." Lori promised taking Alfred and Martha to go grocery shopping sending a quick message to Gemini. As she shopped Ra's was in the middle of watching his men train in the warehouse he had bought just for the occasion. "He will be here soon I'm sure." He glanced at Talia. "Knowing him he may already be here." They both looked in the shadows. "You'll have to hurry." Ra's turned just as Talia vanished with two ninja's.

Rosemary raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "Good morning." She said. "How are things going?"

Gemini received the message from Lori and nodded to herself. She decided that this time, she would stay put with Rosemary just in case- even though her first instinct was to rush off and watch Lori.

Once Lori had gone, Bruce got suited up and went out to search the city. He wanted to take care of the problem before they got to Lori.

"Great." Jason smiled. "Alright." Damien shrugged a little. Ra's sent out his men to set up a fake bomb scare waiting for Bruce to appear.

Lori finished shopping and started to unpack the stuff into the car when she spotted Talia watching them. She paled and shoved Martha into the car as Talia rushed towards them. "Run!" she urged Alfred into the front seat gasping as Talia grabbed her.

Rosemary raised an eyebrow. "Great and alright? Sometimes you two sound like you live on different planets." She chuckled.

Having followed a gut instinct, Bruce had gone to follow Lori to the grocery store first. He was glad that he had done so when he arrived to see Talia assaulting his wife. He jumped swiftly at them and wrestled Talia away. "Go, run!"

Lori blinked at the appearance of Bruce. Then slipped into the car driving off glad that Bruce had appeared. As she went from the car to the house a ninja appeared behind her and whisked her away to the great surprise of Alfred who was holding Martha.

"We do." Damien snorted a little while Jason scowled sadly.
