Rosemary chuckled. "Right, of course. Hey, please tell me one of you brought something to read. I'm so bored just laying here, and I'm not allowed to train."

Thinking Lori was safe for the moment, Bruce threw Talia to the ground and stood over her. "You're going to show me where your father's hiding this time. Now." He said, keeping one foot on her back so she wouldn't run away.

"You really think he'll still be where I left him?" Talia laughed. "No he's long gone with Lori by now." she smirked into the ground. "How's little Rose by the way?"

Damien pulled out a book on martial arts. "I wasn't sure what you would want." he quickly handed it to her and backed away

Bruce swore. Quickly tying her up, he lifted her into the air by her shirt front. "So I was right. You were behind what happened to Rose." He brought her close. "And here I thought you loved Damian. But to do that to a girl he cares so much about...you're a worse mother than I thought." He shifted her position and carried her off to the police station before going to find Lori.

Rosemary's face lit up. "Oh, that ones my favorite!" She had read nearly every book in Bruce's "special" library, and the one Damian had brought was her absolute favorite. She grabbed it and beamed up at him. "You know me so well, I just knew you'd come through. You're the best friend ever."

Damien blushed and then froze staring at the window. "I have to go." He slipped outside coming face to face with his grandfather. "What are you doing here? Where's mom?" He frowned at the man. "It's time you took your place at my side Damien." Ra's studied the boy. "Abandon these people they will just hold you back." "You...you did this! After what you did to Jason! How dare you?!" Damien wished he had brought his sword.

Rosemary blinked rapidly. "Am I the only one thinking he saw something unpleasant?" She asked, wondering what could have made his face look like that. She only knew of a few things, and none of them were appealing. Worried, she struggled to get up out of bed so she could follow him.

"Don't get up!'' Jason scolded pushing Rose back down. "I'll go check it out." he headed out and blinked at Ra's hiding before he was spotted.

"I'm am sorry my boy but this is what we do." Ra's sighed. "If I had know you loved the girl so much I would not have allowed this to happen." he shook his head. "I will give you time to think it over." he vanished. Damien stalked back into the hospital fuming.

Rosemary scowled and crossed her arms, hating that she was trapped in bed. She waited for one of them to come back, and was surprised when Damian showed up first. "What was that all about? And don't lie, I saw your face before you left." She would back off if he told her to, but she was hoping he would just tell her.

"Ra's was out there." Damien sat and placed his head in his hands. "This is all his fault. He ruined my family again just so he can do what? Nothing!" he jumped as his phone went off. "No!" he let out a string of curses.

Rosemary's eyes widened in shock. She knew it was bad, but she hadn't expected this. "Oh, Damian..." She reached out to touch his shoulder when he jumped, making her jump and pull her hand back. "What is it?" She asked.

Meanwhile, Bruce had managed to track down Lori. He wasted no time dropping down on the ninjas and fighting them all off.

"I have to find dad! He's walking right into trap." Damien raced off. "Come on Jason they have Lori and we are going to get the real Lori!".

The ninja surrendered rather easily and left Lori there. "Bruce." She hugged him tightly. "I knew you would save me." She smiled up at him.

Rosemary's jaw dropped, but she didn't get to say anything before both boys were gone. ".........I hate hospitals." She muttered.

Bruce knew instantly that something was wrong. The ninjas gave up too easily, and Lori was acting strange. Normally, she never would have spoken like a damsel in distress. He stepped away from her. "Where is my wife?"

"What are you talking about?" Lori frowned. "I am your wife." she squeezed her hand." Are you alright?"

Damien and Jason searched high and low for Ra's and Taliah finally finding Ra's watching the scene unfold with Bruce smirking. "Give Lori back." Damien demanded. "She's nothing to you." "No but she's everything to you." Ra's turned to Damien. "I will return her if you join us or your father agrees to be with your mother."

Bruce backed away. "You are not Lori." He said. They were out in the open- even though no one was around, Lori would never have admitted to knowing he had a wife, let alone being his wife. She knew better than to be so reckless. "Where is she?"

The person grinned and pulled off the wig revealing a blond haired girl. "Just someone who was short enough to pass as Lori." She laughed. "I did not think you would fall for it but I thought I would try." She glanced behind him. "My lady." She greeted someone behind him with a bow.

"Show me Lori first." Damien demanded scowling as Ra's gestured to the shadows where Lori sat tied up. His stomach dropped as he noticed bruises on her face "let her go and I'll join you but you have to swear to never hurt them again or I'll leave the minute you try anything." Ra's nodded "you have a deal."

Keeping one eye on the blonde woman, Bruce turned to see who was behind him. He had a strange feeling, but he couldn't place it. He only hoped Damian was safe with Gemini.

Talia was behind him smiling softly. "You losing your touch my love." She paused and scowled as Ra's appeared holding Lori. "Father?" "He has agreed." Ra's glanced behind him to Damien who was following along looking torn. "I was hoping to hold out for my love but this is just as good." Talia grinned.

Bruce felt his heart stop for a second. He didn't want to believe what he was seeing, but he knew this time it was real. "Damian, you didn't..." He said, almost pleading. He turned to glare at Ra's and Talia. "You blackmailed him." He said, furious. He made a silent promise that once he got Lori back safely, he would find some way to fix all this. "Mark my words, you will not get away with this."

"Oh love if only he hadn't fallen so in love with you and Lori." Talia sighed. "You could take his place and agree to be with me." She smirked.

Bruce's eyes flashed dangerously. "You already know that wouldn't have happened. I've told you before, I will never choose you." He looked at Damian. "Don't do this. You know Lori will be furious when she finds out. And Rosemary..." He didn't continue that sentence. Rosemary would leave the hospital to follow Damian, if she could get away with it.

"But I had to save Lori." Damien sighed then smirked and pulled Lori from Ra's hands much to his surprise. He managed to haul a slightly dazed Lori behind Bruce. "And what better way then to pretend like I would go with them." Jason dropped down onto Talia taking her on while Damien took on the ninja's leaving Ra's for Bruce.

Bruce smirked, intensely proud in that moment. But he shoved the feeling aside as he went after Ra's as fiercely as he could without using deadly force.

Lori watched not sure what was going on. Soon Jason and Damien where battling Talia who pulled away and grabbed Lori using her as a shield. Damien glared at Talia "how could you choice them over your own mother?" Talia snarled. "Lori's been more of a mom then you." Damien shot back. "At least I can count on her to be there." Talia snarled and press her sword into Lori's stomach making Lori gasp.

Hearing the gasp, Bruce looked back. He instantly abandoned his fight with Ra's when he saw what had happened. He flew at Talia and tackled her, knocking her down and catching Lori all in one move. "Lori!"

"We're alright." Lori stuttered taking Damien's hand. "We?" Damien blinked and then fury filled his eyes. "You..." He trailed off unable to believe what his mother had been planning.

Bruce stopped cold. "We? Lori, do you mean...?" He took her hand. "Are you sure? She didn't...you're still...you're both alright?"
