Rosemary was thinking along the same lines, and was already coming up with an excuse to give Martha when the subject came up.

Lori woke the next morning and made last minute touch's to her hair and face. She glanced back to see Ivy, Harley and Selina already up and changing.

Gemini woke up around the same time, and looked slightly confused for a moment before realizing where she was. Sitting up, she smiled at Lori. "Ready for an extermination?" She asked.

"I was born ready." Lori grinned and headed out with her friends. They headed out to the docks Lori spotted Talia and a few of her guards waiting for Damien to appear. "Look at her standing there like she owns the place." Lori snarled hand on the daggers Damien had given her.

"Stay calm, Lori. The last thing we need is for her to notice us before it's time." Gemini whispered, placing a calming hand on Lori's shoulder. "We'll have to strike all at once so the guards have no chance of interfering. Everyone in position. On Lori's signal, we'll take down the guards and she'll go after Talia. Once we've taken the guards out, we'll regroup to surround Talia and Lori."

Ivy and the others went off to there spots. Lori studied Talia then gave the signal once the guards where occupied she pulled her daggers out and approached Talia. "Well what have we here?" Talia smirked. "I was expecting my son but I figured it was a lie poor boy has no idea how brain washed he is. I can't imagine what they've done to him." Lori caught the hidden words and growled. "I thought so." Talia grinned. "Bruce isn't here to save you this time." "I don't need Bruce!" Lori attacked everything was a red haze she could feel that Talia was hiting her but she felt no pain. Talia gasped as Lori stabbed her surprise filling her eyes as she dropped. Lori didn't stop until hands pulled her off the woman "it's over." It was Selina's voice and slowly comprehension made its way into her brain. She stared at the body and sank against Selina scared of what she had done.

Gemini went to her spot and waited. Once the signal was given, she jumped out and took down the guard easily. It took only seconds for her to kill the man and move on to watch what was happening to Lori. At first she was enjoying Talia's shocked look, but then she realized Lori wasn't stopping. She ran forward, getting to her friend just after Selina did. "Lori, are you alright?" She could already tell that Lori's reaction to her own actions was going to be really, really bad. "Shhh...it's alright. You're okay. Everything's going to be fine." The words were probably meaningless at this point, but it was all she could do.

Lori let her friends comfort her. "I did it. I really did it." she grinned. "I'm finally free of her." she giggled a demented sounding giggle. Selina glanced at the others worried.

Gemini caught Selina's gaze and returned the look. "Yeah, you're free now. You'll never have to worry about her interfering again."

Bruce had not gone home the night before. He remained out, looking all over for Lori. Eventually he parked and fell asleep in his car, waking up early the next morning to resume his search. Currently, he was at the docks, having spotted some disturbance as he drove by. He was watching Lori be comforted by her friends, wondering if he should step in.

Selina spotted Bruce. "Oh look. He doesn't it's you. We'll distract him while you do get away." she waved to grinning hoping they could keep him for realizing Lori was there new friend.

Lori glanced over and raced off with Gemini in toe glad Ivy and the others where going to hold Bruce off.

Gemini grabbed Lori's hand and ran for it. "It's a good thing...we're disguised..." She panted as they ran. She only hoped the girls could keep Bruce distracted long enough for them to get away.

Bruce showed no sign at all of wanting to fight the women. "Ladies. I know it seems unlikely, but I happened across this scene while I was looking for Lori. What happened here?"

"Oh nothing much we just went to have a little fun." Ivy grinned. "But now that your here the real fun can begin." she took his arm. "We just left Lori at the mall with Gemini. She'll be home in a hour or so. You could hang out until then."

Lori stripped out of her cloths and changed back to normal. "I have to get home." she hugged Gemini then hurried off buying a bunch of things on her way home.

Gemini nodded, hugging Lori back. "Call me later and let me know how everything's going. Oh, and tell Rosemary I want her home by nine tonight." She instructed, then let Lori go. She herself went home to change and shower.

Bruce pulled back. "And your "fun" just happened to include killing Talia?" He asked, gesturing to the body that they hadn't bothered to move away from. "Listen, I didn't see it happen, so I can't do anything about it. But I am not staying with you. I've spent 24 hours looking for my wife, and if she's going to be home soon then I am going to be there to greet her." He said, turning to head back to his car. "Just do everyone a favor and get rid of that body."

Ivy and the others put Talia in the river weighing her down. The sharks would get to her before anyone found her. Selina went home while Ivy took Harley back to her forest.

Lori pulled into the driveway grinning. She started getting her bags out of the car humming a little "Rose, Lori is back!" Damien spotted Lori and hefted Martha into his arms. He hurried out with Jason behind him "Your ok!" he grinned at her trading Martha for the bags.

Rosemary rushed out after Damian. "Auntie!" She hugged Lori, but pulled away quickly with a wince. "Ow. Are you okay? We were worried." She brushed off the pain, not wanting to make her aunt feel bad for pushing her the day before.

It was right then that Bruce pulled up. Getting out of the car, he leaned against it instead of approaching Lori. He'd let her talk with the others first. He was too tired to join the crowd, anyway.

"I'm fine nothing a little aggressive screaming, ice cream, shopping and hang out with Gemini couldn't fix." Lori smiled then hugged Rose. "I'm sorry about the other day. I wasn't thinking." she was careful not to crush Martha who was clinging to Lori.

Damien glanced at his father and started getting bags in the house with Jason's help. He wondered when they would tell him that his mother was dead.

Rosemary shrugged. "It's okay. I didn't get seriously hurt or anything, so it's fine." She smiled. Spotting Bruce, she decided to help bring some of the smaller bags in.

Once everyone started moving inside, Bruce approached his wife. "Lori." He said quietly. "Are you okay?" He sounded almost as tired as he felt.

"I'm alright know." Lori insisted taking Bruce's hand. "I'm sorry I yelled at you." she leaned against him. "You look exhausted." she pulled him inside. "Off to bed with you then."

Bruce pulled back, not letting her bring him inside yet. "I saw the body, Lori." He told her. "Of course, I didn't see anyone I recognized in the area." He added, giving her a meaningful look. "Are you sure you're okay? Taking another life can be traumatic. I'm not judging you for it- God knows you had every reason...and, this is strictly between us, but...I'm actually...kind of relieved that she's gone." He cleared his throat. "I just want to make sure you're going to be alright."

"What body?" Lori frowned up at him. "There are tons of bodies in this city so you'll have to clarify." she sill had a hold on his hand. "It was probably a druggy. You can't save them all you know."

Bruce knew what she was doing, of course. "I found Talia dead today. Ra's will try to retaliate." He said, instead of answering, as if it were a new topic. "He'll come after our family first, naturally, so I want you to stay close to me for a while, okay? I refuse to let him capture you again."

"Talia's dead?" Lori asked shocked. "Well I'm not going to pretend to be sad. Poor Damien, he'll be upset." she was frowning on the inside daring Ra's to come near her so that she could do something unpleasant to him. "Why on earth would Ra's come after us though? It's not like he doesn't know your morals." she pulled him inside. "He should check one of the villains first." she thought of Ivy and the others hoping they would be ok.

"He'll come after us first because, even though he knows my morals, he firmly believes that I will someday abandon them." Bruce said, walking with her. "And he believes Damian is capable of murder...and you, as well. He knows Jason would if he got the chance. Basically, we are the most likely culprits to have killed Talia. I'll have to talk to the others about this as well. Damian and Rose will have to be careful, as will Jason and Alfred. Even Gemini, considering how vengeful Ra's can be. And Martha..." A look of protective rage crossed his features. "He won't get anywhere near Martha."
