Lori laughed and slipped her arms around Bruce's neck. "Well what are we waiting for?"

"Absolutely nothing." Bruce said, lifting her up and carrying her inside.

Meanwhile, Rosemary stood outside her own door, getting ready to tell her mother she was engaged. "Why am I so nervous?" She asked Damian.

"Because we are normal under our weirdness." Damien chuckled and opened the door for her. "After you."

Rosemary rolled her eyes. "That doesn't make any sense." She said, walking into the apartment.

Gemini, who had been sitting on the couch watching tv, looked up when Rose entered. "Oh, you're back. And Damian's here! Come on in, it's so good to see you." She smiled, and it would have been convincing if her eyes weren't still red from crying.

Damien swallowed. "Um Gemini I know I didn't ask you but Rose and I are going to get married." he was blushing softly staring at the wall.

Gemini stopped and blinked, as if she hadn't heard right. "You...what?" She asked.

"We're getting married, mom." Rosemary said gently. "Damian asked me to marry him, after I turn 18 of course." She was surprised when her mother was suddenly hugging them both. "Uh..."

"Oh my gosh I can't believe it you finally asked oh my baby girl's getting married I'm so happy!!!!" Gemini spoke so fast it was hard to understand her.

Damien blushed softly. "I'm so glad you approve." he smiled. "I know you and mom are going to take the reigns and I promise not to anger the three of you."

Gemini nodded. "Darn right." She looked like someone who just figured out what to do with her life. "Now, in the absence of a father, Damian, I believe you and I should have a talk. Rosemary, wait here." She started pulling Damian away to talk to him privately.

"Don't hurt him too much, he needs to be able to walk down the aisle!" She called after them, smiling. At least they had provided her mother with a distraction from her unemployment for a while. She jumped when she heard a sound like a balloon popping, and hoped her mother hadn't traumatized Damian too badly.

Damien emerged look surprised/startled and scared all at once. "Your mom is scary."

Gemini exited the room after him, smiling happily. "I'm going to start planning. You two think about what kind of cake you want, and let me know so I can bake it." She said, and moved off to the kitchen.

Rosemary giggled. "Yeah, but you must have known that already." She said, hugging him.

"I did...I just didn't think she was Lori scary." Damien chuckled and kissed her gentle. "Lets think about themes and everything. With any luck they not going to scar us to much."

Rosemary nodded. "Well, I'm partial to a traditional wedding, but I'm open to ideas as well." She said.

"I'm fine with that as well. We better tell are moms before they do a princess theme." Damien was only half joking.

Rosemary giggled when she heard her mother's disappointed groan from the kitchen. "Yeah, we'll have to cut that off before it starts. What about a time of year? I had thought about an outdoor wedding, maybe at the beach, but if there's a specific date or time of year you're thinking of, let's hear it."

"Well if its a beach it would either be spring or fall so that we don't sweat to death." Damien nodded. "I like spring better...after spring break of course."

Rosemary nodded. "That sounds good to me. So a spring wedding on the beach, traditional style...I'll need to pick colors for the bridesmaids and such, and we'll need to decide on flowers, entertainment for the reception, the menu, and I need to find a dress..." She sighed. "But we have plenty of time for that later. For now, why don't we go out to dinner? To celebrate."

"OK." Damien nodded. "Fancy place or something more Mcdonalds?" he asked with a sigh. Most fancy places would shove anyone else out to seat the famous Wayne family it was why Lori liked going to Wendys no one got kicked out for them there.

Rosemary laughed. "I'm kind of in the mood for KFC. What do you think?" She asked.

"KFC works for me." Damien smiled "I could go for some fried chicken. About after...you know I'll wait for you to be ready to take that final step right? I'm not going to pressure you."

Rosemary blushed. "I...I know. I know you'd never...um." She cleared her throat. "And I wouldn't let you, anyway. I'd kick butt before I ever let anyone pressure me." She glanced up at him. "Thank you."

"Your welcome." Damien hurried to his car. "Lets go eat."

"Right." Rosemary followed him.

"So...how about that weather?" Damien grimaced. "That's a terrible subject."

Rosemary laughed. "You'd think after all these years, we would have more to talk about." She said. "Maybe it's because we know each other so well. We're comfortable without having to talk."

"Maybe or maybe its the fact we where just talking about the do...Lori says that a lot." Damien shrugged.
