Rosemary shrugged, smirking. "Maybe. I mean, we've never actually discussed that aspect of our relationship. It was bound to come up eventually." She made a thoughtful sound. "It's not as embarrassing as I thought it would be."

"Yes well it's a dangerous subject." Damien grumbled. He was glad he was driving.

"Why is it dangerous? We're both responsible and smart, we know the risks and how to be safe. And we know we can trust each other." Rosemary said, turning to face him. "It's something every couple should talk about at some point, preferably before they actually do it."

"For a boy it can be dangerous plus you have to think about your parents doing it." Damien made a face. "In my case both parents." he grimaced. "I do not need to picture that."

Rosemary laughed. "You don't have to think about your parents doing it. I certainly don't." She shuddered slightly. "My mother, for instance, is female. She is made of cakes and cookies and bedtime stories, and certainly doesn't have any reproductive organs. I was brought by the stork."

"Whats a stork got to do with it?" Damien asked with a frown. Being raised by Talia he had never been told the story of the storks bringing babies.

Rosemary blinked. "...Sometimes I forget you didn't get the same bedtime stories as me." She said. "It's an old story that the stork delivers babies to their mothers. That's what most parents tell their young children if they ask where babies come from." She explained.

"Is that where they told you Martha came from?" Damien was smirking a little.

Rosemary nodded. "Well, actually...I kind of got mixed reports about that. My mom told me it was the stork. Uncle Bruce said Martha was found floating down the river. He didn't say what river. Auntie Lori said they had made her from a witches cauldron. And Jacey insisted that Martha was found in a crashed spaceship from Krypton." She said.

"Of course he said that." Damien snorted. "Did Lori really say she made Martha in a cauldron?" he blinked. "You know what the scary part is? That one might have actually happened."

Rosemary nodded, smirking. "I know, right? She had actually started to tell me all the ingredients she used when my mom happened along and started scolding her."

Damien snorted as he pulled into a parking spot. "Please tell me it was sugar and spice and everything nice...OH GOD! That show has infected me!"

Rosemary laughed so hard she snorted, which made her laugh harder. "As a matter of fact, she did start with that. She also said she used some of her hair, some of uncle Bruce's hair, and chemical X.I don't know what else she would have said if my mom hadn't stopped her." She said after managing to get her breath back.

"Why did your mom stop her? What could she have possible said?" Damien thought about. "She was right to stop her." he laughed holding the door open for her.

Rosemary laughed again and got out of the car. "Thanks." She said, grabbing his hand.

"Lori seems sweet and innocent but she's really not." Damien smirked a little. "She can be crazy and unusual. You can see why my dad feel in love with her...though sometimes I still wish he had stayed with my mom." he sighed. "i'm just being jealous."

Rosemary squeezed his hand gently. "It's not selfish to wish your own parents had stayed together. Everyone wants that. I still wish sometimes that I'd grown up with a father...not my biological one, of course, but you get the point. You're normal enough in this, Damian. Just try to be glad you got auntie Lori out of the deal."

"I am glad." Damien blushed a little. "I got really lucky. She the greatest person in the world. She's loved me since day one even though I was horrible to her."

"She is pretty great." Rosemary agreed. "As scary as she can be sometimes, she's also a really caring person. I think she's always thought of you as a son."

"I know...I did some terrible things to her when I first showed up didn't I?" Damien frowned. "I'll have to make it up to her for forever."

Rosemary shook her head. "I think you already have, Damian. I mean, you've helped save her life more than once." He had also taken Lori's side over his own mother's.

"Yeah but I still feel like crap about what I did." Damien sighed. "Split the cost half and half?" he offered.

Rosemary nodded. "Fine with me." She agreed.

Damien paid for his half of the food. "Shall we?" he offered her his hand looking around for a decent table.
