Bruce felt both proud and terrified that Martha was going to start doing something so dangerous, but there really wasn't anything he could do about it. He smiled at her, letting her see only the pride.

Martha grinned more. "I'm going to go train." she skipped away humming.

"She's so cute." Lori smiled.

Rosemary nodded, smiling. "She's going to be a wonderful aunt." She said.

Bruce sighed lightly. "I'm proud of her. I'm also terrified." He confided to Lori.

"So am I." Lori sighed. "But this is what she's wanted to do since she was little. We can't take this away from her."

"I know." Bruce said, putting an arm around Lori. "At least she'll have her brothers around to keep her safe."

Rosemary waited patiently for Damian to return from changing his clothes.

Damien came back how hair still wet. He had become the spitting image of Bruce except he had Talias green eyes. "So...guess we have to go baby shopping." he looked to Lori for help.


"I'll tag along if you want." Lori assured him.

"You look too good with your hair wet." Rosemary smiled. "We have nine months, so there's no rush, but yes. We should get basic things like a crib and car seat." She said, leaning up to give Damian a kiss. "But we still have to go tell my mom before anything else."

"Alright." Damien sighed and lead her to the car smiling. "I look like dad...does that mean you find dad attractive?" he smirked.

"Oh to be young again." Lori sighed. "We use to be like that." she smiled then looked down. "But know we are getting wrinkle and sad."

Rosemary made a face. "Oh heck no!" She blushed. "I mean, I acknowledge that he's a good looking man, but no I do not find him attractive. He's like a father. That's..." She shook her head.

Bruce nodded, putting his arm around her shoulder. "Well, I am, anyway. You still have a long way to go before you look older." He said. "But at least we get to relax a little more now."

Damien laughed. "I know that." he squeezed her hand. "Do you want to drive?" he asked.

Lori blushed a little. "I still think your the most handsome man in the world Bruce." she reached over and touched a strand of white hair. ''White hair and glasses just makes you more amazing."

Rosemary nodded. "Sure. Might as well drive while I still can." She said.

Bruce reached up and caught Lori's hand gently in his own. "You flatter me, my love." He said, kissing her fingertips.

Damien handed her the keys and slipped into the passenger seat hoping Gemini didn't murder him.

"Its true though." Lori blushed softly. "Whenever you look at me like that I feel young again."

Rosemary took the keys and started up the car, heading straight for her mom's apartment. They were there within minutes. "Alright, let's get this over with."

Bruce smirked. "Well then, I'll just have to look at you this way forever. Easy enough, since I love looking at you." He said.

Lori blushed more. "Your still such a flirt." she smiled then chuckled as Martha walked by being dragged by Hermione. Ace followed more slowly looking amused at his daughters antics. "I'm glad we let Ace breed. Martha gets two partners in crime. Of course Ace will always be her main man."

Bruce smirked. "You make it so easy." He said. Watching Martha with the dogs, he had to smile. "Well, Ace always did think Martha belonged to him. That's a friendship that will last forever."

Rosemary lead Damian up to her mom's apartment and knocked on the door. Moments later, Gemini opened the door and smiled at them brightly.

"Damian, Rose, hi! Come on in! What brings you two around here?" She asked, ushering the two inside.

"Actually, mom, we have something to tell you." Rosemary said, taking Damian's hand. "We're going to have a baby. I'm pregnant, mom."

Gemini gasped, then made a squealing sound like a happy dolphin, and suddenly hugged both of them. "Oh my goodness, congratulations!" She gasped. "I'm going to be a grandmother! Oh I can't wait! Oh." She turned to Damian. "I guess this means I need to talk with you."

"Mom, go easy, Jason already traumatized him!"

"Let's not do that again." Damien grimaced.

Lori nodded. "yeah it will." she knew Martha would be heartbroken when Ace died but that was a few more years away. "Oh don't forget you have a appointment to check your back at four."

Gemini waved a hand. "Don't worry, I actually want to talk to him, nothing horrible." She said, taking Damian's arm and leading him away.

Bruce pouted. "Ugh. Right." He said in a slightly whiny voice. "Why do I have to go get a check up? I feel fine." He knew he had to go, but that didn't mean he couldn't complain about it.

"Because the doctor just wanted t make sure your ok." Lori frowned at him. "I don't want you to get hurt. Your getting old know remember." she smirked. "I mean going to the doctor now could keep you from throwing it out."

"Why do I feel scared?" Damien grimaced.

Bruce gave an exaggerated sigh. "Oh, fine..." He said. "I'll go. But only if I get a kiss after."

Gemini smiled creepily. "No need to be afraid, dear." She said, just before closing them into a room together.

A few minutes of silence passed, Rosemary getting more and more anxious with each one. Finally, her mom left the room looking happy. "Mom? What did you do?"

"I just talked to him. He's fine." Gemini said lightly.

"alright." Lori smiled, she had been being careful with him lately like she was afraid of breaking him. "you'll get a kiss."

Damien wondered out staring at the floor. "Lets go Rose." he headed for the door.

"Good." Bruce nodded, satisfied. "Lori...I'm not all that fragile, you know. You don't have to treat me like I'm made of glass."

Rosemary blinked. "Are you okay?" She asked worriedly.

'but you are." Lori frowned. "your not young anymore and I worry." she sighed. "You would react the same way if it was me."

"Fine. Can we just go home?" Damien made it to the car and waited for her.

Bruce frowned. "I would act similarly, but I wouldn't treat you like this. I may not be young anymore, but I'm still tougher than you're giving me credit for." He seemed a little hurt.

Rosemary paused and looked at her mother. "What did you do?"

Gemini looked just as confused as Rosemary. "All I said was that I was glad you chose him, and to make sure to support you as best he could. I said I knew he'd make a good father, and that the two of you could come to me with any problems you had. And...I called him "son." Could he be angry about that?"

"I don't know, but I'll find out." Rosemary said, then hurried out after Damian. She met him at the car. "Honey? Why don't you tell me what's bothering you?"

Lori's gaze hardened. "I'm not..." she slammed her book closed. "I'm going for a walk." she walked out avoiding another argument. They seemed like they had been doing that a lot lately. Argue about the fact that she knew he was strong and she just wanted him to be more careful but he just felt smothered.

Bruce flinched and sighed. What was he supposed to do now?
